- PERLA (6/5): Four nights in Istanbul - My stay in Hatay Hotel was okay, location is good, all walking distance to most attractions and transportation. The manager Cetin, was very friendly and helpful, he allowed me to store my big luggage while I went south for a few days. However, my room was sooo tiny, I had to rearrange the bed so I could have more space for moving in the room, lest I hit my head on the TV. The bathroom was small, and showering would wet the entire floor, as there was no shower enclosure. The heating was difficult to adjust, though. The door knob was also hard to manipulate in order to lock the room from outside. The fingers could get squeezed between the door jamb and knob. Breakfast was light and simple. Altogether friendly staff in the hotel. Thanks, Cetin.
- Sulin (4/5): - Das Hotel war total dreckig, Schimmel war an den Wänden. Die Decken waren mit gelben Flecken. Es wurde nie richtig sauber gemacht von der Putzkraft. Die Lage war sehr gut. Man konnte vieles zu Fuß erreichen. Der Herr an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in einem würde ich das Hotel aus hygienischen Gründen nicht empfehlen. Zentral ist es auf jeden Fall, aber bei mir zählt die Hygiene mehr.

- Svetlana (10/5): В шаговой доступности все! - Прекрасное расположение ко многим достопримечательностям, все в шаговой доступности, или трамвай. В отеле приветливый и вежливый персонал. Нормальный завтрак. Хороший, свежий ремонт, мы так попали, отдыхали в начале февраля. Людей было мало, что очень порадовало, заселили раньше и выезд никто не подгонял. Если вернёмся в Стамбул, то точно в Hatay. Вокруг масса магазинов и общепитов, выбирать вам. Спасибо огромное за гостеприимство!

La situation géographique nous a favorisés, par la proximité des moyens de transport (tram, métro et même le train ). Le petit déjeuner correct et le personnel serviable, avec une mention spéciale pour cetin, très aimable. Par contre,un seul petit bémol, le nettoyage devrait être amélioré. D'une manière générale, je recommande vivement.

- Garry (8/5): Old but Clan and Comfortable with Friendly staff. - We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and the downturn in the tourism economy has had an effect. The hotel lacks mod cons but is clean and comfortable and the owners are so lovely and helpful. The location couldn't,t be better with close proximity to restaurants and bars, and all the major attractions are within walking distance or not more than 2 tram stops if you prefer to ride. There is a tram stop within 150m and travelling by tram is easy and cheap. You can catch a tram easily to many of the lesser known attractions such as the Dolmabahçe Palace, Taksim Square, the Galata Tower, the İstiklal Caddesi Tram, the university, the old city walls etc.

- ka (2/5): Absolute Katastrophe Finger weg - Dieses Hotel geht absolut nicht, überall dreckig die Bettlaken sind fast grau, es waren Haare im bett und leere schampoflaschen auf dem Fensterbank und es hat nach Urin gestunken deswegen bin ich auch abgehauen ist kaum auszuhalten. So ein schlimmes Hotel hab ich noch gar nicht gesehen Wo ich gesagt hätte das die Bettlaken dreckig sind hat er mir andere Bettlaken in die Hand gedrückt und ist gegangen die aber auch fast grau waren..... Der mollige an der Info ist auch besonderes unfreundlich
- Yanis (10/5): Localisation parfaite et très bon personnels - L'hôtel se situe tout près de stations de tramway, de bus et de train souterrain (marmaray). beaucoup de lieux historiques et monuments à visiter sont proches de l'hôtel et même pour y aller la balade est très agréable (10-15min). Pleins de commerces à proximités comme des petits alimentation général, des boutiques souvenirs, des restaurants et des cafés. Le personnel très accueillant et au petit soin, je suis très satisfait de mon séjour de 6 nuits dans cet hôtel. Je le recommande vivement.

It took less than 10 minutes to walk to the Blue Mosque and about 10 minutes to the spice market. The hotel itself is very average. It is looking quite run down, wall paper peeling off and fading. The Wi-fi was very slow. The staff were very friendly and the included breakfast was fairly decent.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Para pensarlo - Lo bueno: la atención y la ubicación, muy cerca del puerto, del metro y de sulyanhamet. Puedes ir caminando a las atracciones. Lo malo: habitación muy ruidosa. Se escuchaba hasta el agua que corría por las cañerías y, de hecho, había dos goteras en la habitación del agua de los caños. Las cortinas black out no cumplían su función y entraba toda la luz, algo incómodo si quieres dormir. 30 euros como oferta me pareció muy caro. Por ese precio hay hotelitos mucho mejores.

- Sandra (4/5): Standaard hotel centrale ligging - Hotel ligt heel centraal. Loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden. Echter hotel heeft een enorme opknapbeurt nodig. Voor een paar dagen is het oké. Dan ga je toch alleen maar om te slapen. Wij waren er voor 8 dagen en dan kan je beter een ander hotel kiezen. Personeel wel erg behulpzaam. Ontbijt is simpel. Wij waren met 5 personen en hadden een family room. Die was erg klein. Absoluut noet geschikt voor 5 personen! De 2 persoonskamers zagen er beter uit.

L'hôtel dispose en fait de plusieurs bâtiments. Un est actuellement en rénovation, l'autre est déjà rénové et offre des chambres très agréables. Le troisième (celui où se trouve la réception) en revanche aurait besoin d'un bon rafraichissement... essayez de savoir où vous serez logés pour éviter les surprises!

The Internet was down when I checked in and the place is a bit hard to find cause there are two addresses.
- Alberto (6/5): Economico, quartiere turistico, senza prestese. - Vicino alla maggior parte delle attrazioni turistiche, facilmente raggiungibile dalla fermata del Tram e dalla stazione ferroviaria e molto economico, considerando anche la colazione inclusa. Un piccolo albergo, in realtà sono due (Hatai e Antioch) uno di fronte all'altro. Se non avete molte pretese e vi serve giusto per dormire e fare una discreta colazione, va bene. Se cercate di più, maggiori confort, più spazio e più servizi, allora dovete cercare altro e a Istanbul non manca la scelta. Ho alloggiato qui una notte ed è stato più che soddisfacente. Ciabattine usa e getta, piccolo frigo, aria condizionata. Personale cordiale e sorridente, la colazione a buffet dolce e salata, latte fresco, caffè, tè o cioccolata da una macchinetta. Pulizia buona, il bagno con doccia, con biancheria e set shampo, sapone ecc.
