- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and space, with some drawbacks - Room arrangement was a little strange with glass walls between upstairs and downstairs (fully covered by curtain). Sound travels a lot between rooms. Having two separate bathrooms was helpful with 3 couples. The location is perfect and the overall space is roomy with kitchen, dining and lounge. I could imagine this being great for a couple and kids, rather than a family trip of 3 couples. That said, it was fine for us overall.

Basic property although happy to say spotlessly clean, The previous reviews helped when it was mentioned that it was a different location for the office and apartments. That removed the expectation that once we arrived at the main office we had to walk further for the apartment. The staff at the office were extremely helpful. Our apartment wasn’t ready at check in. We left our luggage and returned a couple of hours later. It was still unavailable. We left for approx 1 hour and on our return it was ready, Still struggling to understand €60 cleaning fee. No one tended to the apartment during our stay.

- Jackie (10/5): - This apartment (on Borgo degli Albizi) was incredibly well-located for a trip to Florence that involved heavy sightseeing. It's in very close proximity to the Duomo and a short walk in both directions to the other main places of interest. The kitchen had everything we needed, as we did cook while we stayed there. It was very quiet at night as we were in the back of the building and everything was very clean. The staff at the office were also very friendly and we had no issues checking in or out. I would definitely recommend this place for families or even 2-3 couples.

- Jennifer (4/5): We won’t be back - The location is excellent, between the Uffizi and the Duomo. We live in Rome and took friends from the US to Florence for two nights. We were disappointed; the photos shown for these apartments don’t show every room of each apartment. For 174 euro a night, we anticipated much higher quality rooms throughout the apartment. The “master” was nice but the bathroom, a poor remodel, which made it impossible to sit on the toilet and close the toilet door without spreading your legs across the toilet! The second bedroom was atop a very narrow spiral staircase - not at all conducive for luggage. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms. I understand the product used by some apartments, included this one, is intended to be used as soap as well as shampoo and conditioner, but on hair especially, we don’t care for the end result. Also, there are glass partitions to protect the water from escaping the tub/shower stall while showering, but there is a substantial gap between the glass and the wall and the floors get flooded. We could not find a single glass, drinking or wine, that appeared clean: smudged fingerprints, dried spots, etc. Finally, the front door has an electric locking mechanism that - all throughout the night - is making noise. We asked about a solution at least while we slept, but no one responded to our request except to say someone would contact us. The air conditioning was excellent and appreciated with the hot weather we’ve had in Italy.
- Dom (8/5): - Excellent location just near piazza signoria and near mercato. Apartment was great, with great kitchen and bathroom, however main bedroom is on mezzanine level with low ceiling. So if very tall, not ideal as you’ll be bumping heads!! Our apartment was on 3rd level, with no lifts, so also take this into consideration. Overall, excellent experience for our family
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Well didn't know what you expect until you had stayed there. The location is great and the staffs were very friendly but that's about the only good things. We rented an apartment with 4 bedrooms (one very tiny with a single bed). It did sleep up to 9 people as it advertised. There are 2 bathrooms in the apartment, but had water/plumbing issues. One of the bathroom keep leaking water when you take a shower. The whole floor is wet after one shower so imagine the condition after everyone took a shower. We had to put the shower towels under the shower door to slow down the water. The other bathroom the water won't drain so after one people showered that's done. They must be some kind of timer for electricity, the hair dryer keeps shutting down after one minute of usage. Need to wait like 5-10 mins for it to work again. The 3rd floor smelled like some kind of dead mouse. The building is creepy at night, kept hearing some strange noise. I guess you get what you paid for.

The check in was happened in the office but not the apartment, which in one way it is convenient, but the it is also a hassle, as we are left alone after all the paper work was done in the office, walking to the apartment was the easiest part, but figuring out where the light/air conditioner switchs(behind the fridge) are located, how to get the stove work to make coffee, not to mention we spent a good deal of time trying understand the Italian instruction of the dish washer, washer and dryer, we'd appreciate if some one in the office can accompany us to the apartment and show us these things, that would have saved us all these trouble.

The AC worked only in the living room, although there were air conditioning units in the bedrooms. The AC in the living room leaked water after an hour of use. We had to use a plastic container to catch the water and dump it periodically. Other than that, the check in process was smooth, the employees were very friendly and informative. Apartment has two bedrooms and a pull out couch in the living room. Bathroom was clean.

We didn't use the kitchen as we ate out. The double bedroom faced on to the street and was quite noisy but it is city centre! Also, there are a few flights of steps to the apartment so may not be suitable for everyone. We used a number of the recommended restaurants and they were all excellent. We would stay here again.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - You can’t beat the location, right in the middle if Historic Downtown Florence. Literally a 5 min walk to any important landmark. Apartment was big and comfortable and even had a washing machine. Staff are super friendly and start working with you via email weeks in advance to help you plan your stay. Great service!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Property is very noisy - yes its very central but the noise from the street at all hours - including delivery carts/trailers from 4am each day is an issue. Access to property was not good - constant issues with the electronic lock which they could not resolve in the 3 days we were there (despite visiting every day) and when we left there was a locksmith who had taken the door apart to try and fix. Electronic lock went off every 15-20 mins all day and night which made it sound like someone was getting into the property which was very unnerving with a young family.

- LS (4/5): - The apartment we stayed in (Penthouse) was quite out dated. The a/c in the living room didn't work. The water pump wasn't working correctly. To get the shower to have any pressure (and the kitchen sink) you had to run the water in the bathroom sink for a few seconds to get the pump to turn on. Same issue with the toilet. The furniture in the living room was in rough shape. One positive was that they let us store our luggage free of charge after we checked out for a few hours. The apartment had plenty of space. If you aren't looking for something like a hotel this might be ok. They only gave us one roll of toilet paper and the hand soap ran out the first day.

- Mohammad (8/5): Great location, Friendly Office, bad internet - Mustafa at the office was more than helpful, he gave excellent and accurate directions on how to find the nearby parking and the apartment itself, he suggested places to see and things to do all with a smile! The location is excellent and could not be better, the building and the apartment have a character that fits Florence. It was clean, well furnished and family friendly. The only down side were the internet was almost non existent, and there was no dishwasher soap!

Minus: You need to pay 60€ extra for the cleaning that is not clear during the reservation and there is no lift so you need to bring your luggage for 3 floors
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location. Only good for 4 people. - The apartment was very nice and large. It was easy to get to all the tourist areas. The internet was terrible which prevented us from contacting home and setting up tours. I called the office and was told it was just the time of day. We never got more than 1 bar. The apartment was supposed to sleep six including a sleeper sofa. It’s a good thing there were only 4 in our family because the sofa was broken. It was the only piece of furniture in the living area. Not enough room to sit and not a good sleeping bed.

- diana (10/5): spectacular view - very friendly staff at arrival by taxi. Check in was quick and easy, but trying to find the apartment on my own was frustrating. Although I was given a map, I walked around for at least an hour trying to find apartment., luggage and all, (you may want to ask if they can walk you). Its lovely how everything is in a small area, so it does'nt take long to get around. Key holes are a little tricky, had to call office to ask for help getting door open. No problems after that. I gave high rating because location was perfectly centered around everyting. Loved the set up and cleanliness and the view of plaza from windows was spectacular! It does start getting noisy early morning with crowds (food for thought). Only negative I have to say is the bathroom had a misty type smell and shower door is a little annoying because it only swings out partially due to the sink being in the way.

- Donna (10/5): - Great location! Stayed in the "Celeste" Apt. Centrally located to all of Florence. Everything was walkable. Do not think anywhere we walked to was over 20 - 25 minutes away. The museums were all within 5 - 10 min. The longer walks were over the bridge to the Oltrarno area. Definitely worth visiting some of the places there. Apartment was clean and sufficient for our needs. If you are looking for luxury, look else where. If looking for clean, comfortable and affordable with a great location, you will not be disappointed.

The maintenance came by the next day and fixed the heater which was great. It’s about four or five flights of stairs to get to the apartment and once inside the apartment there’s another three flights of stairs which gets really hard after a long day of touring. But we loved the location of the place which is central to everything you need just steps away.

Kitchen was OK with a few important things missing (e.g. no cooking knives, just flatware, no salt/pepper). Has an outdoor balcony over interior courtyard. Has washer but no dryer. The only hassle was climbing up 77 stairs but it is a historical building and therefore you can't hold this property at fault. We were central within the historical sites of Florence. The apartment has high ceilings. It was clean and comfortable and air conditioned. This was very appreciated as it got very hot in Florence during our stay. We had a full kitchen but the restaurants nearby are so good we didn't end up needing to use it extensively. The fridge was well served to hold our leftovers from the restaurants (LOL) and all the wine we purchased. I would absolutely return to this lovely tourist apartment.

- R.J. (10/5): - I think every persons situation could vary based on the apartment you are given. We were very happy, very large bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room were great and we even had a loft. Location was superb, right in the heart of Florence. The staff were very responsive to all questions we had. I would suggest using email as we did which negated any language barriers. All in all a wonderful stay.
- Teri (8/5): - Our first impression was "never again". I don't know where the other apartments are located in relation to the check in site, but ours was a hike. After we checked in we were given directions to our apartment which seemed to be 4 blocks away and had to drag our suit cases, backpacks and bags across the cobblestone roads dodging traffic and pedestrians. After getting lost for about 10 minutes we finally got back on track and made it to our apartment! (We stayed at another apartment and the staff met us at the property.. Just saying). Our apartment was fine and spacious, good for families, but don't forget to bring your own bath soap, shampoo and conditioner otherwise you can use their extra large bottle of all in one body and hair soap. They did provide a good supply of towels which was nice. One note of caution to people who have a hard time with stairs - there is a tall flight of stairs just to get into the apartment, I mention this because I know my mom and dad could never make those steps. Over all the property is unique, comfortable and very spacious.
- B.R (6/5): - The apartment is located within walking distance of main attractions and about 20mts walk from the train station. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. House keeping staff did a very poor job as we found a meat sandwich inside the microwave that was disgusting, probably a leftover from the previous guest. The property charges a ridiculous 10% of the rental fee for house keeping and to experience this situation makes it worse. The washing machine door was not closing properly and we had to call the front desk for help. There was a very loud noise coming from one of the two air conditioners which was very irritating, but we didn’t call the front desk for help as it was on the last day of our stay.

The one AC unit was out, but things like that are unavoidable, and the apartment was not overly hot. However, the hide-a-bed was horrendous. It sagged considerably in the middle, and the bars could be felt through the thin mattress. Our 8 year old slept on it with no problems (solo), but if an adult or two larger kids had to sleep on it, it would have left them with a backache. In the short time I laid down with my child to get her to sleep I couldn't believe how uncomfortable it was.

- Jennie (2/5): - Apartment is not where the reception is. After check in we had to drag al our luggage again to go to some other building. The apartment building was so old and smelly. Wall paint was peeling off and stairs so broken. There is no hall way light so when we cane back at night, it was so dark. When we walked in the apartment, stinky old apartment smell was everywhere. Old and outdated decor was eyesore. Paint was again chipping off again and door, wall so bad. There writing and skid marks all over the wall. When I flush the toilet, there was a cracking sound about a minute so loud. AC made the noise all night loud. It was total mess. When I report all these issue to management, they offered to changes the room. But it was pouring rain and it was end of second day. Just the though of packing everything and drag out luggage again in hard rain on my vacation day. It was too hassle. So I didn’t move and they didn’t fix the toilet and AC for entire of my stay. I had to listen to horrible loud sound each time I flush toilet and listen to AC all night. It was loud noise from upstairs. Just was horrible stay.

The fold out sofa bed however is old and grubby and needs to be replaced. There is also limited power outlets for the toaster and kettle - and the kettle actually leaks water. The floors also need a good clean regularly.
