The delightful atmosphere of the resort was greatly enhanced by the quality of the food, the pools, the beach and the staff which were amazing and we feel our stay was well worth the costs. Our daily breakfast hostess--Keidy's warm friendly greeting made the start of each day a pleasurable experience. Such friendly welcoming encounters with Erika at the towel and games counter. The staff always asked if there was anything they could do to enhance our experience at the Caribe. Thank you Rafael, Pedro and Armando at the Fuentes buffet (so much to choose from) restaurant for such excellent service. We particularly enjoyed the "pig and beef" BBQ dinner on the beach...wow what delicious tastes were experienced. We did not miss one night of outstanding entertainment at the Royal theatre. Our always clean room was top notch for all our "room" needs. What a great location to experience Mexico.

Jose the food and beverage manager was always there to lend a hand when needed. Entertainment staff, Suleica, Geo, Maxime, Eder and Oliver were great and had some awesome activities. • F2457UDlaurar (8/5): Beautiful, but room for improvement - I loved the adults only Mediterranean atmosphere at GR Caribe. They were prompt on cleanliness and hospitality. Adrian welcomed us kindly at check-in. Unfortunately, the lobby was filled with such strong perfume that we made sure not to linger. The beach access was wonderful, private, and had plenty of chairs. Also, they had very accessible and nice beach showers. We appreciated how hard Luciana worked to get us a table for dinner without reservations at Marco Polo. Gio kept the energy up for a fun pool exercise class. Llazuri was very attentive at Rosmarina’s for dinner. Mariela made yummy lattes at the Deli. And Miguel kept us smiling at Bogavante’s for our Steakhouse dinner. The downside: only 3 dinner reservations are guaranteed for a week stay. I didn’t like feeling like I was begging to get a table on our non reservation days. And if we went to the buffet instead, we had to go to Royal Solaris, not Caribe. Therefore, we were surrounded by kids and VERY loud with music during our meal. Not the vibe we wanted since we were staying at Caribe. Also, the food at Tavo was very salty and often tasted packaged. However, breakfast at Cafe Solaris NEVER disappointed. It was fresh and had a lot of variety every day. And my husband loved the fresh made omelettes. Overall, I would go back, but I would eat some meals outside the resort unfortunately.

• Road64961560405 (8/5): Relaxing Break - Excellent stay in GR Solaris Caribe. Special shout out to Adrian on reception. He was the first person we spoke to on arrival and he made us feel so welcome. Food and drink was good. And the lovely Deli was great for coffee and cakes. The Tazo restaurant was very good also. Pity the tennis court is not in use as was looking forward to playing. Also a better system for sun beds. Sometimes at 8am all sun beds were reserved and people didn’t show up till nearly lunch time.

We always reach out to the social media team before we arrive and they greeted us with a surprise in our room - champagne and chocolate! Hotel, dining, service and social media team are amazing. Pool activities are great and the staff go above and beyond. Myra, Lupita, Christian, Oliver, Auri, Kalimba (Julio), Roberto, Carlos (Tavo) and the hawk man. If you are looking for a fun, safe place for your family, you will not find a better destination. GR Solaris Caribe we will see you soon ❤️
• MHE323 (6/5): Very Average - Very average all-inclusive. The hotel was well kept and the rooms were clean, the beach was great. Here are the reasons I wouldn’t choose this location again: Trying to sell you a timeshare right after check-in. The buffet food is awful and you can only make dinner reservations half the nights you stay there. Poor alcohol selection. Mini bar and fridge is not well stocked. Pepsi products only. Location is quite a ways from hotel zone. Hottubs are cold. Beds and linens are super uncomfortable. Activities are hard to find and not well-advertised at all.
• nikkid359 (2/5): 1 star experience - Stay was Feb 12-16, 2026. Overall, I do not recommend. There was nothing but issues from the day of check in. Staff was mostly rude & unhelpful, the app that is required to book dinner reservations never worked properly, had to dine outside the resort 2 nights because of this. Wifi was also extremely spotty. Please note rooms smelt very musty and moldy. No fan in rooms and AC was not very strong. Resort was performing construction on the property and 3 out of the 4 mornings were rudely awakened to sounds of banging & construction at 7am!! I have video and pictures of the on site construction, however whenever I as well as the TO I booked through reached out to the hotel about the issue, they lied and said the construction was located outside the hotel grounds and not their problem. Even though I have proof that was not true. Then the resort promised to relocate to a different part of the resort not once but twice, however they dropped the ball and never followed through. Excuse was they had no extra available rooms. Then why did you say you’d move us?? It was also observed the resort seemed to cater to an overall older crowd of guests (50+) as very few guests seemed to be “younger”. Bars & certain areas of the resort closed at 5pm and there was little to no evening entertainment. The lack of assistance and respect for clients was alarming, and flat out lying about onsite construction and conducting maintenance & construction so early in the mornings is unacceptable. Tried to make the best of it, but please be aware of these issues before booking here.
• Tonimascari (6/5): GR Solaris not our favorite. - In the Hotel zone in cancun, close to airport. Hotel is very clean. Rooms were nice sized. The hallways were overly loud. Mostly with works talking amongst themselves. The food was some of the worst I've had at the 4 separate all inclusive I've stayed at in the past. They are more about you becoming a member than anything else, beach was absolutely beautiful, the coffee/deli place was the best food option. The workers are hard workers but we had issues that seemed to take forever to get resolution. The pool on the family side was better we spent more time there than the adults only side. The pool food was way better over there too. They had activities on the adults only side but we never found were to find this info, app wasn't much help so we missed all of the few they had. I would not recommend this place, for the money the food could have been much, much better.
• jdw293 (4/5): Not for us - On the south end of the hotel district with not a lot of walkable things things to do outside of the resort we decided to stay anyhow. The price was pretty good for an "all inclusive" resort and we had a great experience at a different place so we took a chance. It is a very secure facility and we felt safe letting our guard down inside the grounds. The cleanliness and good views right on the beach had us feeling pretty good right away. The room was nicely laid out and the bathroom was a good size. We ended up with two double beds even though we booked one king (I am not a small mad and she is quite tall as well) but we figured we could use the space for our luggage and we went with it. There are two hotels adjacent and we stayed at the adults only one. We got full use of the other and that meant several pools and restaurants. Pretty cool. The Caribe side was not very crowded considering the time of year. The other side was packed. Not easy to get around all the people in the narrow walkways and nearly impossible to get into one of their restaurants win the 4 nights we stayed. We were surprised that all inclusive meant something different at this resort after being at one that really meant it. Limited services, only two free meals at the restaurants in four nights (the buffets were always available) and we had to pay for room service visits which was fine since the food was free. It definitely tasted free though. Most of the staff was not that great or downright rude. There were a few that shined and made up for it but I have not paid that much for a hotel and been made to feel like I was an inconvenience so many times. Front desk, concierge, food service, and even one of the bars had me not wanting to talk to anyone there. We sucked it up and left the compound to pay for food or go to a bar. There we found friendly folks for sure! The sales pitch to join their club was hard and heavy. Once we showed some interest on the first day they pushed hard and in the end required no less than six denials. I don't mind a good sales pitch, especially if they promise some gifts but no is no. Once you promise a gift for some time you also have to follow through with it and not make it so hard to pry from you. Not going to stay here again, maybe somewhere further north in the hotel district will be better.

I also attanded to a barterter wotkshop with Ruben. Thank you for the experience! One thing what I didnt like: guests put their towels on the beds early morning. They are not neraby for ours and because of that a berly could use sunbed… I think there should be rula for that.
• Dreamer50822142081 (6/5): Mediocre Experience - This is my 7th International beach trip, my 3rd to the Cancun/Playa del Carmen/Riviera Maya area. I stay somewhere different on every trip. I had high hopes for this resort as the photo's looked great (and they were accurate in the look) and I was also hopeful that with the new upgrades mentioned as well as this section going to adults only that it would be great. It was not horrible, but it was very mediocre. I am by no means a snob nor do I expect to be catered to, treated like royalty etc. I just want things to be smooth, clean and have decent food and drinks. Check in was a disaster. 4 of us, in 2 rooms checked in. We got the bands, filled out paperwork, paid the tax and went to the assigned rooms. The bands did not work. We go back down to the desk and I find that I have our friends "Check in card" and the one she has is for an entirely different guest. While waiting in line as there was only one desk clerk, a person with a clipboard with all the check in names approached us and asked if there was a problem. When I pointed out that the name on the card was not me he asked me how I knew it wasn't me or my room????? I pointed to the name and he got huffy and said well this is what it was this morning, the room could have changed by now. Ok great but that still is NOT my name. He kinda gave a dirty look and walked away. (This is not an exaggeration). At any rate we get back to the desk and the clerk changed the rooms and told our friends they were good to go to this other room. They left while we had to redo our stuff since we were given another guest's room. He then tells me I need to pay the tax.. and I reminded him we had literally just been there 5 minutes before and checked in and paid it, all he was doing was changing rooms. I ended up having to fish it out of my purse while juggling luggage and prove it. We got another room and then our friends show back up and their bands still do not work. That is when he remembers he never scanned any of the bands or cards to activate the room "keys". We all scan everything, our friends head down the hall and we were getting on the elevator when he yells to us to come back and changes our room a THIRD TIME! Through all of this we have a guy trying to pressure us into going to a club breakfast the next morning to buy into their "time share" (and you can call it a club if you want, it's a time share). We were tired, completely irritated at the disaster at the desk and just wanted to get to the room all while being pushed to book breakfast the next day. And at no time did anyone go to help this guy at the desk and more people were showing up unable to get into their rooms. The room (2641) was clean and kept clean. It was very small and almost no closet space for dresses, dress clothes and jackets to squeeze in next to the ironing board. But we made it work. The shower was either cold or scalding hot. All week I took a cold shower and my friend got scalding water 3 times. The drain was clogged and filled the shower every time. Our other friends barely had any water pressure in their first floor room. We were on the 6th floor. I talked to some folks at the coffee shop who were on the 5th floor, same thing. Cold or scalding, no in between. And it didn't matter if it was 6 am, 9am or 8pm. It was the same all the time. The shampoo and body wash didn't even get sudsy, thankfully I brought my own shampoo conditioner and bars of soap so I could get clean and actually feel like it. The buffet in the adult section was supposed to be breakfast and dinner but was never open for dinner. We went to the other side most of the time. It was fine, there seemed to be some very random odd things on the buffet, but we managed to find something to eat each day. Not sure what orange water is but it is not orange juice. The Italian place by the bar at Caribe was very good. The place behind the adult pool was good but the night we were there they had 2 people working and we ended up being there for 2 hours. The waiter worked his butt off and was great and apologized repeatedly and brought us a bottle of wine and I tipped him and thanked him when it was over but I felt bad for him. Finding a lounge chair was a nightmare. I have never been anywhere, where the towel game was so bad. People with kids I get it but your kids were NOT lounging in the chairs, every child didn't need a lounge seat. The last day we managed to locate 4 chairs together and stayed most of the day. We saw dozens of chairs with towels on them that no one ever showed up to claim. As I have seen at other resorts, if towels lay there more than 2 hours they should be removed. Period. You either want a chair or you don't. Marking a spot and going to grab a bite? Fine. Anything beyond that don't be so rude. Other people are just as entitled to have a seat as you are. SMH. One day we piled our stuff by a trash can then stayed in that area till we were done. Also, online somewhere it indicated it had heated pools. That is not true at all. It was very cold. The drinks were good, never had an issue with the strength of them. The mini bar in the room?????? 2 beers. 2 waters. 3 sodas. No snacks, no liquor in the room, never have I ever been to an adults resort that did not have at least a bottle of liquor, more beer, and snacks (candy, nuts, chips. cookies, etc). There were liquor dispensers, but they were not stocked. A lot of people seem to like the place and I am glad it's good for them. Maybe they have never been anywhere nicer, maybe they like to stick to a budget that is a little less but I would rather spend a few hundred extra and get something better. This was a very disappointing experience for me. I absolutely would not return and to be honest, my first trip to Mexico to another resort in Playa rivaled this one for 7th place on my list. I think next time I will give Cabo or Puerta Vallarta a shot.

Today we had a great yoga class with Llovanny, who speaks perfect english and made us start the day really fresh after the session! Totally recommended to see his class! Ps.: more sunbeds would be nice, or not letting people just put the towels there 6 in the morning and not use the brds for hours!
• A9000RRangelal (10/5): We highly recommend this resort - We were very pleased with our stay at the GR Solaris Caribe. The rooms were renovated, the staff was friendly, and there were plenty of cafes and restaurants. Reservations are required for the restaurants (6 dinners), so you can make them all in one time. The French restaurant was delicious, and we were impressed with the service at the Asian restaurant. We highly recommend this resort.
• lauramJ3225PI (6/5): Not what it used to be - Been visiting the GR Solaris Caribe for 7 yrs. The place has gone downhill over the years. Seems since the ‘upgrade’ it has gotten worse. (except now the elevators actually work!! Yeah) The upgrades were mostly cosmetic. The pool and hot tubs, which used to be heated, are now unheated and cold. The drinks are watered down (even for members). Getting a margarita made the same way twice never happened! Most the margaritas were not drinkable! The restaurants DO NOT change their menus - you get the same food options everyday! The buffets are bad - cold and tasteless food. The dining reservations app is horrible. We had to get help from the members’ contact people to ensure we actually had dinner reservations. Hotel was at 70% occupancy but we could not get 2 lounge chairs together by the pool any later than 8:15 am. Service on the beach was spotty even when tipping well!!! . Many of the staff that we’ve come know over the years have moved on which is sad.

The style is Greece-inspired and there are several different areas to sit and enjoy your company. The rooms are very clean and have waters and sodas restocked daily. We slept with the windows open every night to listen to the ocean. This is a relatively quiet resort. The ocean was clean and beautiful and safe - turquoise waters and felt very safe. There were plenty of options of food for our stay and I loved the snack bar they had at the pool! Our favorite food experience was at Tavo Asian Restaurant and we were delighted by the service we got from Roberto - he was kind and went above and beyond for us. The bartenders and waitresses at the pool and beach were so kind and made us feel very well taken care of! We got a couples massage and Conchi took care of us before we went back and she was wonderful! Our massages were done by Karen and Bere and it was amazing!! There were several activities and entertainment but most of those were at the kid-friendly side. At the adult only side there were mixology classes, painting, energy drink making and things like that were offered mid-day. Overall, this was an amazing place to stay to relax! If you want more of a party vibe with dancing and loud music I would not recommend this resort but this was everything we wanted!

By the name of Alfredo, I didn’t get his last name. But he was so helpful with me very attentive help me when my cane fell down. Got me and my wife are drinks. Make sure the whole time we was there that we was being helped and taking care of. Employees like Alfredo is the reason why we love to come back. They were very accommodating. The hot tub was our favorite spot and being right on the beach was such a pleasure. They have a lot of events throughout the day on either side of the hotels.

We have some new ones now. Reuben, Javier, Ira and Isaac. Of course Rikki is a long time favorite and we met Ross this year even though he was not our Butler he was very helpful and very kind to us. I would appreciate his help anytime what great customer service he provides. Also down at the GR Vermon is very helpful and great customer service was provided Our room was great and I love the entire remodel!

The were ample sun loungers available and the spa massages are nice. The in house excursion team are also reliable. Good restaurant and a shop nearby outside of hotel. Desserts were nice and often had a variety. Cons: the food is not good and there is a lot of reuse of old food I.e things from the previous day will be put out as dinner or lunch the following day in both the buffet and restaurant Romaarinos and often cold???.The food was really a massive let down and I ate in 3 out of the 4 restaurants. Whilst service was amazing, food was a no. The snack bar is extremely limited and will the same everyday. The entertainment was very limited. The building is old fashioned including the bathroom in rooms. There was also some building on site whilst I was there which meant crossing from Gr Caribe to Royal Solaris (to get food as buffet is in Royal Solaris) had to be done via the street sidewalk even at night to get across to each site. Drinks are like really watered down not just alcohol but like standard orange juice. The AC in the room is not the best AC and does have a funny smell. The towels also had a weird old smell. The hotel is not really for young people, their crowd is mostly mature (obviously not their fault nor is it a problem) but just a warning to young solo travellers as you may not meet people similar to your age and the mature often did not really mix with you. Not a problem but just good to know info. Overall, it is not the worse but not the 5 stars that I thought I booked.

The staff is absolutely 5*, from the reception, the cleaning ladies, to the restaurant waiters, the cooks, the bar, the animation team, not one person was rude ir unfriendly. They all try to help you the best way possible and make sure you enjoy your stay. The ONLY thing we didn't like was the shower in our bedroom, the water pressure was very week and the temperature was hard to get right. The food was good, with plenty of choices. The sports bar was a nice place to spend a few hours after dinner, although we would suggest different music, it's maybe a bit outdated.

We encountered a couple that was totally drunk that insulted us and others and when trying to stand up the woman fell and destroyed a table. Despite that the management tolerated them to occupy the bar the next evening. I didn’t feel comfortable around them and left not to have an after dinner drink and other people said, they are going to see a show hoping the couple is gone when they return. Management should take care not of the bullies but of the majority of guests

• dippeydoo1 (2/5): Stay ANYWHERE else! - We came to this hotel for Thanksgiving week. I had stayed here once before and did not have any real issues about 2-3 years ago. This time was AWFUL! Please save your money and stay anywhere else in cancun because I don't think anything could be worse than this. The night we arrived there was only 1 restaurant available for dinner. It was around 8pm the restaurant closed at 10pm. There was literally NO FOOD. not exaggerating at all. All of the trays were empty, no salad, fruit, NOTHING. everyone was just walking around trying to find something. The staff kept saying they're bringing it out but after an hour we gave up after only eating bread. Some of us in our group went up and ordered room service instead which took over an hour. The next day we booked a tour to chichen itza. The travel agent there guaranteed us if we confirmed within 20 minutes he could have us on our own private bus because we were a group of 30. So we all paid for our excursion then and there. Next morning we get up and go to breakfast before our pick up at 7am. Breakfast is supposed to open at 630 but they were not ready, even though all of the food was out and we could see it they would not let us in so we did not get breakfast. We got to the bus and we did not have a private bus but whatever, apparently they take you to a transfer station then you switch busses and at that point they separated our group. Aside from not giving us the private bus that we were guaranteed.They ended up separating our group, and we couldn't even do the tour together. When we complained to the tour company, we were told that the agent that made our booking did not book us as a large group. He booked us all individually if they would have known we were a large group they would have sent a private bus. The agent at the hotel lied and the hotel did nothing to make things right. We know he lied because they showed us the form where it had all of us as individuals. We get back around dinner time. And once again, the only available restaurant, if you did not make a reservation is the buffet and again half the food trays are empty. Our drink order was taken, but drinks were never brought. Which is a common theme, never getting your drinks. For Thanksgiving, once again, we chose to eat at the buffet because we are a large group and again very difficult to get reservations. They take us to our table, and my chair had a cockroach on it. Food was decent this night. If you don't make reservations ahead of time, which are nearly impossible if you're not a member, you only have 2 restaurant options for dinner. The buffet between the gr caribe and the royal Solaris, or you can take the shuttle to the GR solaris. Our last day the weather took a turn and it was pretty chilly so we decided to go to the Jacuzzi. The water was cold in all of the jacuzzis. We asked if they could turn the temperature up several times but nobody ever did a couple hours later we tried again. It was still cold, and we tried asking again, and still no one ever turned up the temperature. The only reason we stayed here is because my brother is a member and he was supposed to be joining us. Unfortunately, he was unable to, but we had already made the reservations, so we were stuck. He was also pretty upset because I was able to find us a better rate for the week than he was going to pay for himself as a member. I don't know why anybody would buy a timeshare here. The food is horrible, and even if it tasted good, they can't even keep up with the demand. There's cockroaches in the restaurant, so clearly it's not sanitary. And it was not a water cockroach, it was a german cockroach. The check-in staff was very friendly and a couple of the waitstaff also very helpful. But for the most part, everyone is very dismissive. The room was clean, beds and pillows super uncomfortable, air conditioner super loud. The beach is really rough here you can't really swim here. So if you decide to come to cancun which is absolutely beautiful do yourself a favor and dont stay here!

With multiple connecting swimming pools and on site restaurants, our daytime and nighttime activities were top notch. The only reason we didn’t attend last year was because the resort was closed for renovations. We had such a rare opportunity and was honored and humbled to meet Joel, the owner of the resort. His kindness, generosity and courtesy extended to us during our stay was second to none. It was a pleasure to meet him and his staff. Poolside servers like Aury and Cecilia were incredibly attentive and friendly. Poolside entertainment led by Mateo, Maggie, and Alejandra made us feel like family. They provided games, water yoga/exercises, competitions, foam parties, and music to keep us engaged throughout our entire stay. Mariam was extremely helpful with any and all of our room assistance and reservations. She was thoughtful, respectful, and dedicated to providing top notch customer service. I highly recommend you choose GR Solaris Caribe for your next vacation experience.

They do everything possible to make sure you have whatever you want. Aury and Cecelia provide great service poolside always there to ask if you need anything else. The entertainment staff works tirelessly to make sure they provide a fun atmosphere. Maggie, Alejandra, Mateo and the rest of the crew do an amazing job and make everyday by the pool an awesome experience. Getting you involved in the games if you’re willing and providing great games to watch for everyone else. If you don’t want the music and party going on at the main pool you can either go to the quiet end to just barely hear the music or choose the other pool for peace and quiet. Food and bar service are available at both pools. There are multiple dining options on site which never disappoint. We can’t wait to go back.

He clearly anticipated our needs, which made a huge difference in the seamless relaxation of our vacation. The room was always spotless, organized, and perfectly clean. ​Ulises is a fantastic asset to the GR Caribe team, embodying hospitality at its finest. • lollybilly (6/5): Needs some improvement - Came here for week 2 of a 2 week holiday. The first hotel was amazing for food and drink so unfortunately it was more obvious then, that food and drink here is not brilliant. Neither of the buffets are good. We didn’t mind the Venitos or Bogavante. But we ended up in bogavante for lunch a lot, as there weren’t other options really so got boring. Rosmarinus wasn’t good. Room was a good size but no balcony and couldn’t get ventilation so it just started to smell, had to take wet things to sun beds to dry. They did offer to move us but we declined as we only had 3 days left & felt it was hassle with all our stuff. Wish we had moved as we had a cockroach on both of the last 2 nights. Pool Entertainment was okay but I did have to ask that they include children in the games, as at first all games were unnecessarily adult only. This hotel is going to adult only soon though. Can’t really comment on night shows as when using app we only seemed to manage to get 8-8:30 sittings so it always clashed with the shows. They did a foam party with Aperol spritz on the Saturday & one night moved the buffet to the beach which looked a lot nicer than the normal buffet but we couldn’t try as already had a reservation. Very social hotel though, we got talking to to great people. Though I think it very much sways towards members rather than us normal public booking it.

Weather was perfect, staff was friendly, our ocean view room was on point, cleaned rooms, lots of activities to do and plenty of food and alcohol. Some must reviews on the staff: Margarita at the omelet station was caring, kind and friendly! Luis at the Sports Bar - makes the best drinks! Super friendly, funny, and attentive. Andres and Maxine with the entertainment - super fun! Luis and Isaias at the swim up pool bar! Thanks guys! Locations is very convenient, close to the airport which is a big hit! Atmosphere is perfect, it has pools for adults, kids, fun, and relax time! Noise level on point for the times of days. The value we paid for our stay was very convenient. Great vacation overall, we will deft. be back! Thank you all!
• 520sunan (8/5): Beautiful resort – but some guests forgot they’re not on a reality show - I had a wonderful stay at the GR Solaris Caribe. The rooms are stylish, spotless, and spacious enough for travelers who don’t live out of a single suitcase. The staff are amazing – warm, hardworking, and always smiling. The food was tasty with a nice variety, though I personally would have loved a bit more authentic Mexican flavor. The beach right in front of the resort is gorgeous, clean, and private – a perfect escape. Now for the not-so-perfect part: some American guests seemed to believe they were starring in “The Real Housewives of Cancún.” Loud, inconsiderate, wasting food like there’s no tomorrow, and reserving sunbeds as if they were beachfront real estate agents. Even worse, a few treated the service staff like background extras in their own vacation movie – absolutely unnecessary and disrespectful. Bottom line: A wonderful resort with an incredible team, beautiful beach, and great atmosphere – just hope the next group of guests remembers that good manners are also included in the all-inclusive package.

We spent our days relaxing at the pool, where Javier took excellent care of us, and on the beautiful beaches with the softest sand I’ve ever felt. The resort offers activities for everyone, from excursions off the resort to daily aquatic aerobics classes with Andres. If you want a fun workout, check him out. The resort it self was lovely - clean, spacious room, and perfect location. Also really appreciated that the staff is not just mindful of food allergies - they take it very seriously.

Dayon, Alberto, Anayeli, Ariel and Jesus were so attentive!! We had another waiter, Roberto at several restaurants who was the nicest most helpful server ever!!! Also our housekeeper, Maria Cruz kept our room spotless. Can’t wait to come back. Ross, our friends butler, was always there to say hello and offer assistance. David, our member representative, was available for all our needs. Already planning our next trip.

This is a family owned property and you can definitely tell. Everyone is smiling, friendly, helpful and kind. Our room was perfect and felt spacious even with three of us staying. We will be back and though I'm only a day past my return to my home, I already find myself dreaming about going back to GR Solaris Caribe. Nubia, Oscar, Dayan, Alberto, Noemi, Samanta and Anayeli were all beautiful bright lights that we'll look forward to seeing again...hopefully soon! Thank you. The facilities are beautiful, the pool with its ample shade, the jacuzzis overlooking the spectacularly blue ocean. We were three happy ladies celebrating mom's 78th birthday and the team at GR Caribe made sure she, and we, felt like VIPs from start to finish. 5 Stars ALL THE WAY. Also, my mom has mobility challenges but we were able to rent a mobility scooter (at a location outside of the hotel) for her that allowed her to basically get everywhere she needed to go.....there was the option of a ramp for her in all the places she wanted to go. Nice job making the club more accessible for folks with mobility challenges.

The mimosas were flowing, and we were reminiscing about our 40 years of friendship. We decided to call our other two high school friends, and before we knew it, we were booking a trip to Cancun using one of our friend’s timeshares at Club Solaris. Please note: This review is from the perspective of someone staying with a member, and I visited during the off-season. During that time, the resort does repairs and maintenance to prepare for the high season, so expect some construction and movement around the property. Despite that, Club Solaris Cancun was one of the top experiences of my life! It’s a wonderful place to stay. What it may lack in “luxury,” it more than makes up for in service — truly the best service and the kindest people. Because of my friend’s membership level, I stayed in the Club Solaris members area, but honestly, the great service is consistent throughout the resort. The staff remembers guests by name, and I saw many returning members warmly hugging the employees they’ve known from past visits. You can feel the genuine care and connection. The rooms are a great size, each with a coffee maker and refrigerator. I had a room to myself, and it was perfect. As a member, they personally walk you through daily activities, help make dinner reservations, and even arrange excursions for you. If you’re not a member, the concierge and guest services office are always available to assist. A special mention goes to Omar in the members’ office — he’s wonderful. Breakfast I started each morning with breakfast in the members’ area, which offered a fantastic assortment of food. My personal favorites were the made-to-order omelets and the fresh, sushi-style salmon and ahi tuna. Coffee and mimosas flowed freely, and smoothies were available upon request. Special shoutouts at breakfast: • Tomas – Always served with a smile and even brought me bacon, though it wasn’t out yet. • Julian – Warm, friendly, and always great conversation and service. • Roman – Makes a perfect omelet every time, smiling as he works his magic on the grill. (Tip: Ask for a smoothie — they’ll make it fresh for you!) Pool Time Spending time at the pool is a must! Lunch by the pool includes standard fare — pizza, chicken nuggets, nachos, fries, hamburgers, poke bowls, California rolls, mac and cheese — it’s casual but satisfying. Drinks tip: Head to the adult pool for branded liquor. Otherwise, they typically use well or house brands unless you ask. Special thanks to Marrya, who worked tirelessly serving everyone around the pool by herself — she’s amazing! Throughout the day, there are plenty of fun activities like bingo, water Zumba, and flip-the-cup. Maxine, the pool host, keeps the energy up and everyone smiling. (Pro tip: Bring your own cup, thermos, or Stanley tumbler — they’ll fill it with ice and water for free.) There are three pools and three hot tubs, and the ocean views are incredible — just steps away from the beach! Spa! Small but clean. Ask for Bonita. She was great. Dinner Dinner reservations are a must. The best restaurant, hands down, is Marco Polo. A big thank you to Alex, Ivan, and Ricky for their wonderful dinner service! Nightlife The resort offers nightly entertainment like singers and live shows. They’re nice, but if you’re looking for a livelier nightlife, you may want to head into town. There’s also an MVP Sports Bar, which is a great spot to hang out — it has a pool table, three TVs, music, and an air hockey table. A huge thanks to Javier for his excellent service and patience with our card games!
• grandmama1296 (10/5): Paradise - Our room was for unbelievable. Private Plunge pool, overlooking ocean and nice patio. The staff, from top to bottom first rate. A few shoutouts: Ross, Jesse, took care of all our needs. Jesse checked in everyday to see if we needed anything. Dinner reservations, pool towels, water. Anything. The Spa was amazing. Bonita was a great masseuse. Antonia at the deli made amazing coffee and sandwiches. Restaurants were first class. Captain Fabio, Hostess Luz, and their team at Marco Polo Restaurant were friendly and helpful with the menus. Alberto at Members Breakfast was ready to serve. Jair at the pool bar had our drinks ready. I enjoyed Skinny Mojitos. We have been here many times and will continue.
• Danmer (6/5): - We loved the customer service, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the breakfast. However, there are several issues that the hotel needs to address. The food at the buffet was not the best. I understand that we probably visited during the beginning of the slow season, and the kitchen staff was new. I believe they should receive proper training before handling guest orders. Another issue was with the front desk; they never had change available to give back, either in dollars or Mexican pesos, which was inconvenient. We have stayed at Solaris two times now, and honestly, this time was not the best. I would like to give five stars to the housekeeping team members and the servers in the restaurants for their excellent service.also 5 stars to Hermelina the lady that works by the pool making pizzas.. they were amazing.

• Mallery Ann (4/5): - Air conditioning worked great, only issue I experienced was the bartenders over serving patrons. Turned out to be dangerous, my boyfriend was over served on the 1st into the 2nd of October. As a result, he was injured and required stitches upon arrival back in the states. Very scary and stressful situation.
• AdrianoGusto (10/5): A fun family vacation! - Yes everything was on site and we didn’t have to leave the resort one time. Everyone was very friendly and polite. We had an easy time checking in through the members lounge. The rooms were cleaned every morning. Andres our fitness instructor was awesome and funny, he brought energy and fun to the pool. The games all day long we fun with Blanca too! Lots of kids activities all over! Hope to be back soon
• anniev811 (4/5): Keeping it real - We usually stay at Royal Solaris Los Cabos, where customer service has always been excellent. This time, we tried GR Solaris Caribe in Cancun, and unfortunately, my first and last impressions were very disappointing. At check-in, while waiting in the VIP lounge, a sales rep ignored us for 20 minutes while pitching another family. As a member, I expect to enjoy my benefits, not be pressured for another $10,000 upgrade. When I asked Javier for a quick overview of the hotel and perks, he became dismissive, handed me a brochure, and told me to use the app. Clearly, if you’re not bringing him money, you don’t matter. Thankfully, Daniel in the VIP lounge was professional and helpful. The second bad experience was worse—one of the servers, Jose, was fired for giving us Baileys with coffee at breakfast. At Los Cabos, this is always offered without issue. Punishing staff for providing good service is unacceptable. On the positive side, the VIP bar staff—Issac and Cecilio—were outstanding, making creative drinks and providing genuine, friendly service. Overall, despite a few great employees, the unprofessional treatment and poor management decisions at GR Solaris Caribe mean I will not be returning to this resort.

• Voyager57265495026 (10/5): Great facilities and staff wonderful visit - We stayed in a plunge pool room with a beautiful view of the ocean. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed all of the restaurants but especially the evening buffet at Rosmarinus and Bogavante. The fresh grill at Rosmarinus was a highlight as well as our server Matteo. My daughter and I had massages in the spa that made us feel relaxed and pampered. We did 3 dives with Manta divers that we booked separately - we enjoyed the local and cenote diving. Our concierge at the hotel Ross took exceptional care to ensure we were happy and enjoying our vacation. Overall a great trip. We can’t wait to go back.

The hotel Is close to airport ,close to the shopping center la isla and the night clubs. Good location I always stay at GR Solaris two or three times a year.

• 762katalinac (10/5): September visit - Great we’ve had a great time. The weather has been great. The service and food has been amazing here. The ocean has been blue. The red flags have been great and Massage has been great shoes. Everything has a place everything is in order. The staff is very nice. The Shuttle service is great not having towels is not great. You have to have a card if you forget your card we hope to find someone nice to give you free towels, which they did. We had the pork we had the dessert and it was all.

• nesbetsy (10/5): Sports Bar awesomeness with Irra & Javier - The new MVP sports bar is a much needed addition to the Solaris experience. But, what made it truly incredible were the bartenders, Irra and Javier. They are the BEST bartenders we've ever had here! So skilled, so personable, and they just really made our evenings. Normally, we'd hang out at the members bar at Royal Solaris, but Irra & Javier made the sports bar a way better experience this trip!
• Margo (6/5): - Property is well maintained. Room was beautiful and clean. All staff I encountered were very nice and helpful. Hotel is right on the beach. Only complaint would be the food. It was hard to get a reservation and the buffet food was terrible.

We enjoyed the new pool and staff at the pool and were very attentive to our needs! The new hidden bar and members bar and area are stunning! We will definitely return to this Resort!

The hotel is well-equipped, the staff is excellent, and the facilities are very clean!
