En famille, c’était l’idéal! Le petit-déjeuner doit monter en grade et le repas du soir est un menu imposé. Mais franchement, la sympathie du personnel comblait cela amplement!

Le petit déjeuner comme partout en Argentine pourrait être plus varié. Pain de mauvaise qualité.

We stayed in the family villa that had more that enough room for our family of 4. We enjoyed spending the afternoon by the pool sipping wine. We decided to eat at the property and it was one of the best meals we had in Argentina—and we had some amazing food in Argentina. My daughter is a vegetarian and the invited her into the kitchen so she could choose ingredients for what they would make her.

The staff was attentive to requests and provided a delicious dinner in the dining room. Though it is well off the beaten track, it is convenient to the airport. We appreciated this quiet location for our last night in Argentina before an international departure. We had worried our arranged taxi might not arrive at 3:30 a.m., and were amazed and grateful that a staff member arose so early to make sure we departed on time.

- 898IanM (10/5): Lovely Little Hotel Near Salta - This charming little hotel (or B&B, as I’d call it) is conveniently located just outside Salta, making it ideal for easy access to the airport—our main reason for staying. Despite its proximity, it was peaceful and a great place to relax, with a small pool perfect for cooling off in the warm afternoons. The rooms were comfortable, and we had dinner at the hotel. Since we were the only guests that night, we could choose our preferred dining time. We had an early start at 6 AM, and the staff kindly prepared coffee and cakes for us before we left, which was a lovely touch. Overall, a short but pleasant stay

- Florence (9/5): Very special place to stay - Finca Valentina is a beautiful place to relax and be in nature. The grounds are stunning, with lots of outdoor areas to relax in and a nice pool. The interior of the Finca is stylish and very comfortable. It is clear a lot of thought and effort has gone into making this a lovely place to stay. The food was very good: at breakfast, the three course meals in the evening and snacks during the day (plus a complimentary glass of wine at 7pm!). The staff accommodated vegetarian changes for me. The Finca organised horse riding for us and we also had massages, which were both great experiences. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed getting to meet Valentina and her family over Christmas. We would definitely recommend staying here as a special way to relax in Salta. You can also book excursions to Jujuy etc through the Finca, if you want to explore more of the area. It was very convenient to get to from the airport. It would be great if you could make coffee/tea in the rooms.

The property is beautiful, the nature, buildings, decor, etc. and we saw the most beautiful sunsets. - Cecilia (6/5): A mixed experience - Calm and close to the airport. The surroundings with the birds and the mountains. The breakfast was nice. The complimentary coffee in the afternoon and the wine in the evening. Nice feeling about the place. The dinner. Sold to us as a three course meal, but ended up being a barberque/asado with meat that tasted weird, possibly from the day before and reheated. There was no chimichurri (which is mandatory at an argentinian asado) because they had "run out". The salads were nice, though. We booked the whole villa, but were not given access to one of the bedrooms, because " there were only four of us". There was no ping-pong table, as stated in the description. Maybe other things are lacking as well, we didn't check. The living areas are sometimes a bit worse for wear. For instance, the toilet seat had some enamel missing, the floor had cracks and holes.

- Jacek (9/5): Nice stay - Nice calm place. Comfortable beds. The possibilities of eat in different parts of the day (lunch, snacks, etc.) Not everything worked as it should. The staff is polite and nice, but sometimes they do not care abbout The guest. Although there is "wine time" when you are offered complimentary wine, we never got one.

- Jane (9/5): A haven of peace. A perfect choice for your stay in Salta if you don’t want the centre. - We had been travelling for over two weeks in N. Argentina when we stayed at Finca Valentina and it was by far our preferred hotel. Quiet, tastefully decorated, good sized bedrooms, excellent service (special mention to Romina who was outstanding) and lovely food. Need I say more ? Nothing negative to say.

- Alan (8/5): Pretty and quiet place to stay. - The grounds are beautiful. Never seems to be anyone working there. Wandering around to find someone to get a glass of wine, searching to find someone for checking out. Breakfast was good, dinners not so great. Practically no WiFi in the room.

- Ahmad (10/5): Salta’s hidden gem! - We booked this hotel at first just because the proximity with the airport. Going there by taxi from airport in the night, we’re not sure where we’re going. But when we arrived, the hospitality of the staff went beyond, the room is really cute, well decorated and very comfortable. it’s definitely a Salta’s hidden gem!

- francescaeminente (10/5): Bliss in the Salta region - Lovely, lovely place. Peace and quiet, colorfull flowers, nice swimming pool. The interiors are perfecly designed, in total armony with the spirit of the place, thanks to Valentina the ID; the food is excellent, the local personnel are gentle and always available. If you are lucky enough to catch Fabrizio the owner he will tell you marvels of his adventures in the Puna. We only wish we could have spent more time there!

Peaceful and quiet. - Everything about the Finca Valentina facility is top notch, save for the rough-and-tumble stone road that guests must negotiate to reach it. The layout of the place, the furnishings and decorations of the common areas and the rooms, the grounds...elegant and tasteful. Also, the owners and the staff we interacted with could not have been nicer or more forthcoming. We were quite dismayed by the very rough drive from the main road to Finca Valentina. A 4x4 is not necessary to reach the facility, but without one it is necessary to drive at 10km/hour from the main road or risk damaging your car. I cannot lay this problem at the feet of Finca Valentina, of course, as they do not own the road, but it still bears a mention. Secondly, we were disappointed by the dinner we booked (though glad to have done so, going back to the road situation), as it was extremely light and somewhat pedestrian fare, this despite it being presented as "a 3-course set menu (not "a la carte") selected by our chef". The food was not bad, but it was not special in the least, which was a surprise considering the surroundings in which it was presented.

- Kacie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great, the hosts were great, food was amazing, fresh juice and water on arrival. The location is a bit off the beaten trail but we enjoyed that sort of atmosphere.
- Inge (10/5): Cosy place in Salta - Finca Valentina is a cosy place to relax and enjoy the neighbourhood of Salta. Amazing decor, staff and food. They arrange everything for you (excursions, food, sports, books etc)
- Manesh (9/5): A lovely Finca just outside Salta - Lovely lounge and dining area, decorated with good taste and a beautiful fire place. We enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner which was all freshly made. The room was nice and spacious too. Being winter, our room was very cold on arrival but it did eventually heat up once we managed to get the heater on… The floors remained cold so do bring some slippers if visiting in winter!

- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional food in stylish surroundings, would highly recommend! - The finca itself was absolutely stunning and incredibly stylishly design. It felt very cosy and there was a lovely fire to relax beside ahead of dinner. There were gorgeous gardens and the room was a really nice size. It had a great shower and it provided soap, shampoo, a hairdryer, etc, which we thought was a nice touch considering it is an independent hotel. By far the star of the show though was the food. It was freshly prepared by the staff in the kitchen beside the dining room every night and you could taste the love. It was also extremely well priced and included a three course meal. There was also an extensive menu of lovely local wines to choose from. Because of the time of year, it was quite chilly, and we did few quite cold at times. In the room it was fine as we had a big duvet and a radiator. However, in the main house you felt it much more (one night in particular it was quite cold eating dinner). Also, this didn’t bother us but there not any electronics in the property so if you’re keen on having a TV or a speaker then be prepared to bring your own devices.

The staff were super friendly and prepared lots of tasty homemade food and were always happy to make drinks. Breakfast was good with lots of wonderful fresh bread. The area round the pool was very pretty and a great place to relax in the sun.

- Catherine (8/5): a peaceful oasis away from the hustle of the city - the relaxed atmosphere. welcoming staff who brought us lemonade and cake at no extra costs while we stayed by the pool very luxurious feel and tastefully decorated. we have a room on the first floor in the house with an amazing balcony overlooking mountains. the set menus in the evening was good .breakfast was excellent a kettle so you can make your own tea woudl have been nice . also dressing gowns
- thejourneyman76 (10/5): A perfect gem, nestled in the tranquil countryside - Finca Valentina is a beautiful 'finca' surrounded by well kept, flowering gardens about 20 minutes outside Salta. The houses are colonial in style, but have been well designed and feature lots of modern touches. Good facilities such as a great shower and air conditioning are balanced by original features like the wooden shutters and flooring. Each building has a verandah covered in foliage which attracts frequent hummingbirds. The pool is nicely designed and very relaxing. The staff were very attentive and super helpful and the food was all freshly hand made and delicious. We really enjoyed relaxing here and would love to come back.

- Martin (10/5): Home, far away from Home. - What you see (above) is what you get. fantastic team led by Fabrizio (the owner); a man with loads of taste, knowledge, kindness and and Italian vista. Fab property making you feel at home: away from home. Everything is functional on top and the dinner with set menues is a delight. Taste their Bucara 2018 wine, produced by Beatrice (Swiss) which is second to none and top if considering value for money. Enjoy! The access with a non-4x4 is a nudge iffy; namely where the water runs.
