• Filip (10/5): - We had a great stay and really enjoyed this property. It has everything you need for a comfortable visit and the price-to-quality ratio is absolutely fair. The location is fantastic – within easy walking distance to the Opera House, the Botanic Gardens and the CBD, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The staff were super friendly throughout our stay. Prythm welcomed us very warmly on arrival, clearly explained everything we needed to know, and was always available whenever we needed assistance. His attitude and professionalism truly stood out and made us feel very welcome. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely helpful and positive – his effort and hospitality definitely deserve recognition. Overall, a very pleasant experience and we would happily stay here again.

A fan was provided but the a/c didnt work at all

• Lee (10/5): To summer my stay in a short sentence I would prefer it as I have and simply use the word “ fantastic”. - Is a great Building, rooms are spacious and well kept, the people behind them with the staff are fantastic and Danworth and went out of the way for me over a few different days actually Nothing really, it’s a pain having to walk that last floor at the stairs but you know that’s structural so I can’t really complain about it. Actually, no put a lift in just for me I demand it LOL sorry.

I went down stair to ask the staff for it, he confirmed to take one to my room sometimes later. However, until I checked out, no desk was equipped in the room. I was there for business trip that I need a desk to work on.

• Dylan (8/5): - Everything is close together with this property, which makes it really easy to find entertainment or food. :) In the summer it might be a bit of a challenge as some of the rooms don't have air conditioning or fans, but otherwise they're very cosy and Adrian will definitely look after you. :D

• David (8/5): - Look, it is only a 1 star hotel and so expectations need to remember that. The pub patrons next door like to sing so ear-plugs are essential. For my purpose, a room to sleep in and no more, it was great. Clean, comfortable bed and close to food. Bathroom clean, hang everything on the high hooks, everywhere else gets wet including the door. If I need to stay in central Sydney again I'll use the Highfield again.

• Jan (8/5): Very small room but convenient location - Good location in buzzing part of Sydney - walking distance from both the Allianz stadium and the bridge/opera house area. Expensive for size of room but you’re paying for it being Sydney. Very small room - no space even for a seat and only one pillow for 2 people staying. Parking A$25 extra - but that’s for a full 24 hours. Could see Syndney Harbour Bridge from the car park (opposite the hotel). Only view from our room was of a brick wall. No (working) lift.

• Nelly (10/5): - A friendly greeting. Offers of assistance and a feeling of homeliness. A well equipped kitchen where you may sit and have food or interaction with other travellers. Bright and very easy to get to.
• Asif (6/5): - I stayed in the hotel for one night as it was convenient for getting to the airport. The hotel is in a busy area and there are lots of shops nearby. I had to check in late and the staff were very helpful in giving me the access codes. There were a couple of issues that spoiled the stay: 1) The room had a fridge that emitted the most horrible noise every few minutes. I don't think any normal functioning fridge would make that sound, 2) I could hear other guests talking in the corridor in the middle of the night. It was a bit inconsiderate and I didn't get good sleep.

Easy to get around on foot with subway so close, shops, bars & restaurants Our room was facing the street so was quite noisy including garbage trucks & street sweepers in the early hours. Would suggest ear plugs if you have a street facing room

• Prad (6/5): Great location, value for money. - Great location, easy to get there by public transport. Lots of eateries in Darlinghurst and Kings cross. Value for the money and location. Aircon was good, bed and pillows were comfy. Bathroom was so tiny, I am 5'11 and 70 kilos, I found it too tight. If you are bigger in size, you will find it very difficult to move around. No power point near the bed, no bin in the room. Fridge and floor was dirty (see photos).

Shower had a nook to place your body wash, shampoo and what not. Also had a seat with a hook to hang your towel. Bedroom has a TV, small fridge and a fan. I was unable to hear any noise from the neighbors so that was good.
