- Simon A. (6/5): Good location, under par room - Good communication from host and fantastic location Property is tired, really needs painting and maintenance. Shower head holder broken, which seems to have been this way for some time, bathroom door almost impossible to close, more attention when cleaning required - tablet behind bedside cabinet, very small room, shared balcony not as seen in advert, very noisy with floorboards creaking from adjoining room, people on landing and apartment above, faulty lights in room and bulbs out with main light. Very expensive for standard of what you get with misleading photos. Restaurant below is no longer La Festa.
- Theresa (9/5): Very comfortable great location. - The large comfortable bed was amazing. Fantastic location. Excellent communication from owners through messages. Everything you needed for a short stay, You do have to carry suitcases up 1 flight of stairs.
- Dominika (10/5): - Location, easy check in, Nice room
- Brad (8/5): -
- Ceri (10/5): Great room with comfy bed. Nice and clean. In a really nice area - Great location, massive comfy bed! Good value for money. Easy to check in. Nothing
- Akira (9/5): Super locatie. Nette en schone kamer. - Super locatie, midden in het centrum. Kamer ziet er schoon en netjes uit. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen. We hebben een erg prettig verblijf gehad. Nou eigenlijk niets.

- Lisa (7/5): It's alright! - The room is small and cosy, it's fine.. Nice bright bathroom. It's in a great location. Many great cafes and shops around. This accommodation is like an airbnb room upstairs from a door off the street with a lockbox to enter and no reception. There's no breakfast unless you order it the night before. The restaurant beside it never was open while I stayed there (2 nights). So I thought 'B&B' was a bit misleading, but fair enough - I hadn't read the small print. (Read it!) The stairs is narrow and dark. The bottom of the shower door is still broken (many reviewers have already said this) so there was a puddle on the floor. And it's very noisy in the mornings because there are people living upstairs and they make as much noise as possible before they leave!
- Amy (10/5): - Lovely, comfy, clean and spacious room. Has everything you need for a short break away. Not too far from Dam Square but lots of things around!

- Madison Louise (10/5): Great location! - My mom and I had a really nice stay. It was a great location. There were good recommendations, and it was easy to find places nearby. I do not really have any recommendations; it was a very nice place and a pleasant stay.

- Melda (7/5): Lovely and peaceful stay - This was a nice property tucked away in a quieter area of Amsterdam which was very pleasant. There was no shortage of food and drinks places to enjoy during our stay and everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. We stayed in the room with the balcony and it was a nice change to have an outside space to enjoy during our stay. As is the case with most converted properties, the sound insulation could have been better. The balcony furniture and tiled flooring were a bit tired but ultimately it did the job of giving us somewhere to enjoy when the sun was out!

- Marsha (9/5): Worth the money for the location and hospitality 10/10 - Our hosts were so nice and welcoming, everything was ready, they took the time to grant our request, and made our stay one of the best ever. All the information we needed was provided and the rules didn't leave you feeling restricted. I will be staying again. Not much really, only the bathroom door could have closed better, and maybe a 2nd room key, but that may have been provided if asked for and we never did, so just the bathroom door, other than that it was the perfect room and location for me.

- Adriana (8/5): - Location and bed comfort Size of bathroom
- Deepak (10/5): - Great location! Walkable to all the attractions, lots of restaurants and shopping.
- Cherelle (7/5): Very nice place to stay, very clean, not noisy at all even with full restaurant downstairs was still a lovely place to s - I liked the fact there was a balcony and that you can come and go with ease. The mattress on the bed was extremely soft, too soft that it caused me back pain
- Elene (10/5): -
- Daniela (8/5): -
- Antje (9/5): Das kleine Hotelzimmer liegt sehr zentral.

- Blaga (8/5): - The location was perfect, within 20 min from everything
- Sibylle Inreiter (10/5): -
- Sam (10/5): Perfect as a solo traveller looking for somewhere quiet and close enough to the centre of Amsterdam - Unreal location, loved the room facing out onto the street, felt local but also right in theaction.
- Catherine (7/5): Pretty good - Great location, large comfy bed Hand shower broken, had to ask for coffee cups, only one wine glass, asked for a second but never got it. Stairs very narrow and steep so not great with large suitcases.
- Wendy (10/5): Perfect - The location and size The stairs! But that is what you get in Amsterdam
- Greg (2/5): Don’t do it. - The location was quite close to
Restaurants and Anne Frank
House Advertised as a B&B… inert said we no longer offer food as people didn’t seem to eat it and there was too much wasted. But they still charge as if it’s offered🤷♂️. No wash clothes. Never changed towels in 3 days. No Kleenex ( not included I was told) A lot of street noise and you need to be a Billy Hoat to get up the stairs. Oh and mold in the shower ceiling.
- Ana (8/5): Central nice room with private bathroom - No breakfast provided, but there are a lot of places around to eat. Desa was very welcoming. She responded right away with our requests and had a great attitude. Our room had a terrace. Near public transportation. Steep stairs to go to the room. Water from the shower goes out a bit. You have to request cleaning.
- Galina (8/5): Very good - Location is great, quiet, beautiful street. Walking distance to all major point of interest. Host was very clear with instructions and was very friendly when we saw her on the last day Towels were very old and grayish instead of white
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Janine (9/5): Superb -
- Rozie (9/5): Good value for money in a great location - Great location, comfy beds, secluded balcony, 1st floor room, good tv, handy mini fridge
- Zoe (10/5): Cute clean and comfortable! - Having a balcony for smoking was the selling point. Once arrived it was just immaculate, clean and good use of space/storage. The beds were so comfortable! There isn’t anything we didn’t like. It was great.
- Harley (8/5): Very good -
- Antoine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mica (10/5): Magical - I loved the location and the fact I had a balcony N/A
- Samantha (9/5): Superb -
- Wendy (9/5): Lovely bolthole near Jordaan area of Amsterdam - Beds were so comfortable. Lovely space and great bathroom. The location is fab next to some great neighbourhood bars, cafes and restaurants. The owner and her partner were lovely and ensured everything was good and left a few recommendations of places close by which were excellent.
- Barbara (6/5): Pleasant - Location More lighting in the stairwell would be great. Stairs are very steep.
- Fiona (8/5): Great location comfortable room in an interesting part of Amsterdam. - Location of property in Amsterdam was excellent. The immediate vicinity was full of interesting shops, gardens and walks. The hot water and radiators were very hot. Apart from one party the place was very quiet. Good restaurants were very close and an excellent supermarket across the road. The room fridge was big enough for our milk fruit and cheese. Tram no.17 from Centraal station nearest stop to room. The access from the street up very steep stairs poorly lit was a worry but we managed. While the bed linen was clean the duvet was strangely lumpy.
- John (2/5): Very poor - Great location Poor service. Just enough toilet rolls
- Eilish (1/5): Would not recommend this property! - Would not recommend staying here!
This is not the advertised 24 meter squared room or 2 single separate beds. There were no sheets on the bed, only a comforter placed over the mattress protector.
The bathroom left something to be desired. To begin with, not only does the door hit the end of the bed as you open/close it, it didn’t close fully easily and then required quite a shove to open again. The almost empty roll of toilet paper left on the stand did not feel welcoming, made it appear as if the last guests had just left and the bathroom had not been tidied or attended to. The shower head is fixed off to the side, making it difficult to use the shower, and the ‘holder’ for the secondary shower head was broken. Outside of this, there was extensive mould throughout the shower and it did not appear that the outside tiles around the shower were regularly cleaned. The towel I went to use smelt moldy, so my friend and I ended up having to share the one towel.
We left shortly after arriving and found other accommodation in Amsterdam for our stay.
- Susan (8/5): Great location in the hub of the Jordaan. - Great location ,enjoyed the balcony. Very nice to be able to make a cup of coffee and tea. Needs a little maintenance- door handle fell off as we were leaving. the shower head holder was broken. Only one wine glass.
- Kenneth (8/5): Very good -
- Jerilynn (5/5): Just okay - I stayed in both rooms they have. Our preferred one is the standard, without the balcony. It had a/c, even though there were big gaps around where the ductwork goes out the window. It was a little larger than the room with the balcony. The balcony room is tiny! If you open the door to the bathroom it barely misses the bed. The is no window in the room, just the balcony door and no a/c! We figured we could just leave the balcony door ajar, but came to discover the balcony is a shared balcony and someone else’s door opens onto it too, so no leaving the door open. The balcony is overlooking a small street/ally with no view and very little air flow. That said, the hostess was very nice (as long as you didn’t ask about the a/c in the second room) and the location is terrific! For the money I would probably look for a different option in the same area. I did feel the advertising was misleading, for example, the picture of the room is not either room we stayed in and there were only two rooms. Huh? Very small, no a/c, balcony is shared with someone else.
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jerilynn (6/5): Good location, nice people, small rooms - The location was great. We liked the standard room better than the balcony room with no a/c and no window you could leave open. Also, the balcony overlooks a small street, so no view and there is another door opening onto the same balcony so you can’t leave the door open for more air. The rooms were quite clean. The stairway is a challenge. They are narrow, steep and curve tightly. The light to illuminate them doesn’t come on at the top. It comes on about 3/4 of the way down after navigating the worst part of the stairway. Use your phone light or flashlight!
- Sara (7/5): Wonderful B&B in the heart of Amsterdam. - We loved how clean and nicely presented the room was. The narrow staircase isn’t ideal, but it comes with travelling in Europe. Our showerhead was also broken with parts of the head releasing high-pressure water.
- April (8/5): Very good -
- Suphaphon (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (8/5): Great location and all the amenities we needed - Great location, easy to access, nice space, comfy bed
- Marilyn (7/5): Cheap and cheerful. - Excellent location
Hosts were great and carried luggage up and down stairs. No air conditioning. Had to sleep with fan on and balcony door open. Small room with too much furniture. No room for more than carry on baggage. Steep winding staircase is challenging. No hand shower holder. Balcony was not clean.
- Shane (9/5): A very nice property with contemporary decor. The. Propeety boasts a private bathroom and balcony. - The property was very clean throughout.
The property was fully stocked with toiletries/tea and coffee (including kettle/coffee machine).
The property also had a mini fridge.
The bed/duvet and pillows were very soft and comfortable (including clean spare sheets in the room, if required).
The TV in the room is a smart TV and is connected to the internet.
Property located in a classy part of Amsterdam called Jordaan. Although the area is usually busy by day, it is quiet by night. Outside noise was not an issue in the room as the doors to the balcony appear to reduce outside noise really well.
A nice size balcony which was very convenient for smoking.
Close to a large supermarket, many cafes/restaurants etc.
A pleasurable 25 minute walk to Amsterdam Central station (crossing 4 nice canals on the way) or a much quicker journey by tram (from Elandsgracht).
The host Desa was very welcoming, friendly.
I would consider staying here again and would also recommend to family/friends. There was no air conditioning, however the room comes was a large fan to compensate.
The shower head holder was missing so nowhere to mount the shower head whilst in use.
- Paul (8/5): Cosy room in the heart of the Jordaan. - Location excellent in the middle of the Jordaan. A little hard to find.. small sign: I walked past it... Its over Sant & Santini...
- Marica (6/5): It was ok. However very noisy at all hours of the day. Owner was accomodating if I needed anything. - I didn’t have breakky here. Went to a local cafe around corner. The stairs were the downfall for me. Really strap and very small 1/2 steps. Was worried I was going to slip
- Blair (9/5): Superb -
- Abigail (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meghan (9/5): Very comfortable stay in a superb location - excellent value for money and would highly recommend for short breaks ✨ - This B&B was in a great location in Jordaan and had easy access to so many places in Amsterdam - either on foot or via the tram stops!
It was excellent for us for a short stay and excellent value for money; the room is a decent size as is the en-suite and we were lucky enough to have the room with the balcony which was a lovely addition! 😊 We found the bed SO comfy and everything was clean and tidy - the additional touch of the coffee station and fridge in the room was nice and helpful.
We struggled slightly to find the property as the sign on the wall is very small, but once we did it was super easy from there! It doesn’t look like much when you first walk in but then once in the room it’s exactly what you need! 😊
Contact from the hosts was easy and we felt like we could reach out if there were any issues - thank you for a lovely stay!
- Robert (9/5): Superb - Host very friendly and helpful
Location really good
Plenty nice shops close by nice trendy area of Amsterdam
- Angela (8/5): Perfect location and very comfy bed! -
- Ciaran (7/5): Good. - Close to everything The shower was not very good hard to control
- Jeanine (6/5): Great location but disappointing place to stay - The room was smaller than expected, fitted sheet had holes in it, all the pillows were lumpy and the mattress was old. Heard other room noises morning and night. You don’t get a restful sleep.
- Kate (8/5): Best location- especially for Kings Day!! - Great location in the Jordaan. Amenities closely such as restaurants and supermarkets- plus plenty of cool shops. Desa the host was very friendly and assisted us with lost baggage/ phone calls etc. large stain glass windows that could open. Clean bathroom and can request towel change during stay. Italian restaurant “Santi & Santini “ downstairs with manager/ chef from Puglia, Italy. As it is a single room, we were unable to leave our luggage after check out ( we which already knew and was fine!..)
- Margaret (5/5): comfortable stay in good location - no breakfast available no milk in fridge on arrival . nothing provided for breakfast .
would have been nice to see the host during our stay..
- Gayle (7/5): Good for a few nights, brilliant area, pity about the noise. - Great location, felt very safe, easy to get around, nice restaurants /shops nearby. Our room was adequate and clean. Bathroom was big. Balcony was good to have. Noise from apartment above kept us awake and woke us up early. Tried earplugs but too uncomfortable.
- Houssein (2/5): Not good. - Room was dusty and not clean, same with the balcony. The location is good the neighborhood is nice and quite but the room can be improved greatly which in turn will yield a better income. It could have been cleaner and much better organized.
- Susan (8/5): Nice place, clean with everything you need for a short break - Everything you needed Double bed not two singles
- Lewis (8/5): Very good -
- Teja (10/5): pretty awesome - i liked the comfort of the beds i didnt like that the fridge was not cold enough
- Margaret (5/5): Passable -
- Max (7/5): Good - The location is great. The room was pretty clean. No A/C. A bit noisy at night.
- Mafalda (8/5): Great location, walking to everywhere. Great restaurants nearby -
