- joienle (6/5): It will do in a pinch but not a place I'd stay again. - It's right next to the Yogū station so that was very convenient. However, that line isn't very useful for most out-of-town people. But proximity to the station was awesome. Plus, it's a quiet, residential area. That's great for those who struggle with noise at night. For the money, it was a downgrade from most places I've stayed for equal cost. It was a 2-3 star place at best, despite the washer/dryer which I didn't need anyway. I even upgraded my room type. I've stayed in Ginza for less. It felt a bit rundown, overall. I often move from hotel to hotel each night, and this was definitely a 1-nighter. I also use Booking.com exclusively for my Asia travels and have a great success rate at finding lovely places that fit my budget. So, it'll do in a pinch, especially if you just need a place to crash without fuss. With a slightly less price point, it would be fine.

The laundry was great! And they even supplied detergent. I also liked that they had options re: housecleaning. I didn't love the bed, but that's a subjective thing. I stayed 6 nights and would absolutely stay there again.

- Bert (8/5): Relaxed residential area. - Very close to the train station and local shopping. This is a slice of real everyday Japanese life with few tourists. While all of the guests I saw appeared to be Japanese, the front desk said they had overseas tourists and there were people who spoke English. I appreciated the in room washer/dryer available in some rooms. It is one of the things I like about this chain. It allows you to pack lightly and have more room to bring souvenirs back.

- CSR91 (4/5): Great room and location. Inflexible cleaning policy. - Location. Right ext to the Yoga station. Many shops and restaurants around. Easy access and probably the only hotel in Yoga. The room is also well equipped. It has a washing machine and dryer which is very convenient and a cooking range (IH) but i didn't use that. Also the TV is a smart TV with all the apps. The cleaning policy. They only clean the rooms if you stay 7 consecutive nights. It makes no sense. The cleaning offered for shorter stays are either the staff will enter the room and replace the towels and throw out the trash or a towel exchange service where you keep the old ones outside and they don't enter the room. They won't make the bed, they won't tidy up the place. It's ridiculous, considering the price for a night is at the range of $150-$200. The least they can do is make the bed and tidy up or the hotel should possibly offer cleaning for an extra fee if it's reasonable. I stayed 5 nights and it was quite disappointing coming into my room and realizing that the bed is not made etc.

- Jayne (8/5): Nice hotel, but no western level of service - The staff are lovely, the room is clean and the location is excellent. This is not a hotel though. It is what a western person would call a motel. There is no counter service in the middle of night and the front door is card locked, there is no room cleaning service (they just wash your towels, they don't clean your room during your stay). And the furniture has that dated, motel feel (some aspects like the aircon need to be replaced as they're currently too noisy to keep on during the night) It is a bit nostalgic. If you can live with this it is in a great location, and has lovely staff.

- Mummobear (8/5): Functional and well located business hotel in Setagaya - very close to Yoga Station. - This is a basic business hotel in a quieter ward, Setagaya of Tokyo. It is a short 15 min train ride from Shibuya. We stayed in a superior twin room which had a bit more room than the superior/moderate doubles we stayed in Japan (Kyoto, Hiroshima, Tokyo) which were 17 square meters. The bathroom is one room and a bit dated. Lighting is very low. However, there are some other ammenities, such as a kitchen sink, stop top, microwave and washer/dryer. It is nice to have the washer dryer in the room rather than shared in common areas. The bed was comfortable and fresh linens were provided. There is no breakfast service, just very bland coffee/tea in the lobby. The ammenities bar is a bit lacking relative to the other hotels we stayed in Tokyo. Just toothbrush, razor, cotton pad, sponge. There were no face wash type samples. A few other perks to this hotel is the fact that it is less than 50 m from the escalator to Yoga station. Attached to the station is a business/shopping area. There are decent restaurants and grocery stores (Fuji Mart and OK) nearby. We went to these to get breakfast food and stored in the fridge. If you want more sophisticated shopping, Futako Tamagawa shopping center is a 23 min walk down road 246 (from the hotel). There is also an awesome coffee shop, called Woodbury, a few min south of the hotel. They make serious coffee. It was relatively inexpensive if you booked well in advance (74 00 yen for 3 nights).
- sian (5/5): A good value option for shorter visits to Tokyo. - A great location with a 15 min commuter train ride into the city center. Staff were very helpful. The housekeeping only came once during our 9 night stay. Only had one small 5 person lift serving 9 floors and no option to use the stairs. So a little congested at busy times. Small single lift and no alternative.

- Gleb (9/5): Superb - Excellent hotel and excellent location. Just keep in mind they might not do full normal daily cleaning (not sure if this was just when I was here or always), they only changed towels and garbage bags. Also, it is a bit pricey, but the rooms are quite nice.
