• Russell (10/5): - We have just returned from a wonderful week in Dubrovnik staying at Villa Sigurata. The hotel is perfectly located inside the walls of the old city with all major attractions, bars, restaurants etc just a couple of minutes walk away. The room was spotlessly clean the bed was extremely comfortable, plenty of towels, tea and coffee etc. As for Nikolina, she couldn’t have been more helpful, full of useful information, extremely efficient ordering taxis etc and friendly and cheerful all the time. All in all it’s a 10 out of 10 from me, brilliant location, lovely host and Ron the dog is a star!

• Marcus (8/5): Great location in old town. - Nikolina was great! Super nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Somewhat small and expensive relative to other places in Croatia, but perhaps that's just being in Dubrovnik.

• Abby (10/5): - The manager Nicolina is simply the best. She is there when you arrive with a list of recommendations for places to eat and sites to see. The building in the old town has beautiful rooms with everything g you could need. I highly recommend Villa Sigurata.

It’s very convenient to walk to most attractions as it’s located right in the old city. Nikolina the host was very kind & warm and gave the best suggestions whenever needed. I will surely recommend this place for anyone wanted to stay close to old town in Dubrovnik.
• Deborah (10/5): - I had a wonderful 4 night stay here in Dubrovnik. Nikolina is a very welcoming, warm and kind host. Everything is lovely and it’s an extremely quiet and clean hotel. Plus she also has the cutest dog and cats. She makes good recommendations of things to do and checked in to make sure I was enjoying my stay. There are not many stairs to get to the hotel, and it’s centrally located behind the main cathedral on a quiet street. There are a lot of stairs inside the hotel to the upper floors which is typical of Old Town.
• Joy (10/5): - Bey nice hotel that has a great location within the city walls. The hotel manager, Nikolina, was absolutely amazing and her dog Ron was a highlight.
• Peggy (10/5): - Nikolina is great and very helpful and responsive. The room and bathroom are very clean but they are smaller than normal. The bathroom is very narrow even for a petite person.
• Leslie (10/5): Heart of Old Town, run with love… - This hotel has a fabulous location and is surprisingly quiet. Nikolina runs this hotel with pride and love. We took her up on her offer for an airport pickup (the rate is very fair). Her husband picked us up, brought us to the gate, and her daughter Marta escorted us from the gate to the hotel. If you have not visited Dubrovnik before, definitely use the airport pickup. You’ll be hard pressed to locate the hotel, all the while schlepping your bags. It was a lovely stay!
• Phil (10/5): - An excellent property in the old town, very convenient for all the sights and restaurants. It’s a few minutes walk from the closest gate (no cars allowed in the old town) but only a few steps involved in reaching the hotel. We were on the third floor and had to carry the bags up but the staff were very helpful and it was totally worthwhile. We would recommend the transfers to and from the airport, it was literally a door to door service. We would happily stay here again or recommend this hotel to others.

The hostess was absolutely fabulous—so welcoming and helpful. The location couldn’t be better: tucked away in a quiet alley, just a short stroll to both Buža Bars and the amazing Kopun restaurant. We felt completely safe and loved being in the heart of Old Town. It was a bit tricky to find at first—street signage is different here and you have to look up to spot the names—but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. We stayed in the main building where the reception is, which was super convenient. The bathroom was a bit narrow, but it was totally manageable. Overall, it is a charming and comfortable spot—we’d happily stay again!

• Anonymous (8/5): Would recommend to anyone who is staying in Dubrovnik for 2-4 days - Location on the sea side of Old Town was prime! Only had to walk up/down less than 12 steps to reach the hotel (as opposed to the other (mountain) side of Old Town. Walkable to everything I wanted to see and do. Nikolina was very helpful and friendly. Luca (her husband) picked me up at DBV and brought ne to Old Town where Nikolina met me and Luca brought my bags to Villa Sigurata The bathroom is tiny. Manageable for one person, but two people cannot fit in the bathroom

• Catherine (10/5): Convenient and comfortable - Nikolina was responsive to all my inquiries; the location is great - right near the cathedral and main street; the room was comfortably appointed, including a/c and tea and coffee; Luca carried my suitcase up the four flights of stairs and drove me to the airport. So they made my stay pleasant and convenient. The only difficulty was the directions to the hotel were not sufficient and even a local, working at a nearby restaurant, did not know where the street was!

You could end up in a room five flights up and no assistance to take up your luggage. The room costs the same as one on the ground floor..

• Chad (10/5): Excellent little hotel with a great lady running it. - You can't beat the location. It is on the quieter side of the old city. The lady that attends the hotel is amazing. I was in the attic of the house so just know you have slanted ceilings that you have to deal with. Also there is nowhere to put your clothes or items except a small table by the bed.

The walk from the airport shuttle pickup was about 15 minutes, a very nice downhill walk, and about a 10 minute walk from the Pile gate. It’s in the heart of the Old Town, a perfect location for exploring Dubrovnik and a quick walk to day tour and taxi pickup. Highly recommended!

• John (10/5): I highly recommend this marvelous Villa in a historic, yet very quiet location. - The location was perfect for sightseeing in Dubrovnik, yet it was extremely quiet. The room was clean and pretty. The owner was very kind and helpful. It is a bit hard to find, but Google Maps took us right there.

Super easy to slip and fall. Those are ceramic stairs will get head concussion. The reception lady Nikolina is very friendly, kind and replies promptly. Which was the only consolation.

One of the best beaches is just behind the hotel through a portal in the wall and steps away, the hotel is away from the crowds and noise and yet close to everything. Wifi really didn't work on our floor until our last day but there were a table and chairs just one floor down we could use to get online. Our TV didn't work, but we didn't care. I noticed in passing that every other room seemed to have a working TV. The location is everything and the helpfulness of Nikolina and her husband made all the logistics so simple. Not a glamorous or spacious place to stay but who wants to spend time in their rooms in Dubrovnik! It was a great base, clean and with some charm none the less. No safe, but that was ok.
