- Sheldon (10/5): - We recently stayed at this hostel for an Oktoberfest guys' trip with a group of three in our own room. Our stay exceeded my expectations! The staff were incredibly hospitable, and they even had drink coupons waiting for us upon check-in. The breakfast was convenient, and the hostel bar was a highlight of our stay, buzzing with people from around the world. We had fantastic conversations and met some amazing fellow travelers. As a first-time hostel guest, I was impressed. My only suggestion for improvement would be a fan in the room, as it could get a bit stuffy and warm without air conditioning. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend this hostel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
- phil (10/5): - This place isn't a 5 star hotel, but it's not trying to be. I say that in the best way possible. The staff is amazing. The vibe with other guests is 2nd to none. The bar gets lively. The room was clean. Everything worked. Staying here for Oktoberfest was the best decision ever. I can't say enough good things. To the staff- thank you for being so nice and willing to help. Will definitely stay here again

The bed was super comfy, staff were friendly, it is right next to the main train station, and you get 1 voucher for beer, coffee, water, or soda per night! My only complaint was the shower was tiny and you have to leave your belongings on the ledge outside. It also didn't have AC, but was nice temperature despite that.

Great location right next to main central station although the neighbourhood is a bit run-down: crackheads/dodgy looking people congregating on the street but it’s not too bad I saw no trouble and it’s literally a 3 minute walk to the station

The staff was very accommodating when we had to add another traveller as well. The breakfast selection was decent. The only cons might the lack of provided toiletries (e.g., shampoo/body wash) and the low height of the bunk bed. Overall, a good stay!

- Giovanny (2/5): - The rooms have no soundproofing. A group of teenagers arrived at midnight, running, screaming, banging on doors, and using the restrooms with no empathy for the guests. I complained to the front desk. They spoke to them, but the situation continued until 2 a.m. It was a very bad experience; we couldn't rest well. It was my second time staying at the hotel, but this time it's the last. I don't recommend it.

- Kinga (6/5): Kind of disappointing - The place wasn't too bad but i did not really enjoy staying here. As a disabled guest it was important to me to have an elevator. When i arrived the elevator was under construction, unavailable for use and the men doing repairs made a huge amount of noise for a few days. My room was dusty, which triggered my allergies. The storage crates under the beds have dangerous heavy lids which are difficult to prop open,and i saw these fall on people several times. There is nowhere to put clothes or towels in the showers. Breakfast was good but there was an issue where i was told i hadn't paid for breakfast when I actually had, and was forced to go to reception to get proof. Another time, my key card randomly stopped working and had to be reprogrammed. There is no guest kitchen. There is an outdated ad for Neuschwanstein castle tours in the breakfast room that has not been taken down. The hostel claims to be eco friendly but i could not find a single recycling bin (though the website says something about a waste sorting system so i am hoping thats what they do). Overall i did not have the best stay.
- Christina (6/5): - It's tough to fairly review a "budget option" like this, so I'm going to try to be as clear and fair as possible. Check in was easy, parking was conveniently located, and you get a free drink ticket (beer, juice, water, coffee) for each person, each night of your stay. The room (we had a private quadruple) was basically a glorified closet, and the mattresses were the worst of our entire trip. The bunk beds are metal, so they definitely make noise. The bathrooms are seemingly only cleaned sporadically, so they are really hit or miss if they will be reasonable. Our main issue was that none of the quiet time was enforced. The courtyard was supposed to be closed past 22:00, and we heard loud people out there will past 02:00. I'm somewhat surprised the surrounding residential buildings don't have constant nose complaints. We choose to end our stay early, but I'm sure there's plenty of people that enjoy this location because it is fun and lively.

- Alex (10/5): Great hotel on a budget or with friends - The hotel was fantastic. Reception staff friendly and accommodating. We was given a free drink voucher too which was welcomed. Room was large and beds extremely soft and comfy! Had a great night sleep. Only thing letting the hotel down was the bathroom was rather dated and paint was stripping from ceiling, however facilities in the bathroom worked perfectly fine and like I say the beds fantastic and good night sleep. Very quiet at night too!

- PHILLIP (8/5): Good deal - Very good basic place to stay! The breakfast is a bargain ( it was included in our rate) and we were also provided with 2 free beers (one per person per day). Very quiet despite being almost adjacent to train station and very reasonable price.

There were stairs but doors were always locked from the inside so you can't go back in unless someone who's inside opens it for you. I also didn't like how your door can't easily open even after you turn the key to open it. I hope they can fix these issues. But overall, my stay was good and their breakfast was good too.

- Michael (10/5): - The “4 you hostel” is a wonderful little place with six and eight beds per room to meet new travelers… It’s a $13 #1 or #8 train ride from the airport roughly 49 minutes and you are about a block from Central Station to catch the rails and upstairs has a shopping mall style Small food court and a small shopping destinations… You’re a few minutes. Walk from a large park and then about eight minutes. Walk to town center old town… All in all great place to stay… Fair warning they do not provide towels, but you can rent them for five dollars. I will go back.

- Michelle (10/5): Excellent location, friendly staff, breakfast - We rented a 4 bed room with on suite bathroom. The room was large, shampoo and soap was provided, towels and linens. Beds were comfortable, staff was nice, bar, lounge, luggage storage and breakfast included. Walked into old town every day, 20-25 min walk. 5 min walk from central station. Highly recommend if all you need is a base of operation! Super comfortable and convenient.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Not 4 Anyone - Room had no curtains. Heating in the room was very poor. Hostel staff were very unfriendly and not knowledgeable about the city or surrounding areas. Was also super dead, no social events. Only positive was that the cleaning staff was super nice and the rooms were relatively clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): An affordable hostel with great location - One of the best affordable hostel stay next to the main train station. Services is on point as a hostel. Location is excellent. However, some room just got floor renovated so the “new material odor” could somehow irritate someone who is allergic to it.
- Ryan (8/5): Short solo weekend trip in Munich - I took a solo trip to Munich for a weekend from Oslo, NO… Check in was no stress. I also got a 1 free drink voucher for each night of my stay. For a hostel, I specifically remember myself thinking the staff was quite impersonal and not very engaging outside of the bare minimum. With that said, they were pleasant and answered any questions I had. I was here in late February, so there was still covid certain regulations looming - for ex, the bar and small cafe area were not serving any food or drink so there was a definite lack of social environment for a hostel. But again, this I imagine is moreso due to covid. The bedrooms were very standard, as shown in the photos. Nothing more or less, an outlet + 2 USB ports for charging stuff right on the bed was very convenient. Bathrooms and showers I found to be a bit on the unclean side. I was provided a duvet and pillow but thankfully had brought my own towel as you are not provided one from the hostel. In terms of location, it is very close to Munich central station, which is convenient. But generally speaking is not the nicest area of Munich. It took a roughly 10 min walk to get to Marienplatz for example though which is very convenient as well. Check out was very simple and straight forward.

I liked how you received a free drink coupon when you check in, and there is such a big reception area. A special shoutout to Jenny! She is very kind and genuine, helped me with check in and gave me tips about the area. If you decide to stay here I hope Jenny is at the reception to greet you! Bathrooms were clean, beds were comfortable and there's no complaints from me. Will definitely be back 10/10!

They give you free drink coupon for everyday use. You can use the coupon to change a drink (Like coke, tea or water..) Good - The building is non smoking. I don't like there are a lot of people smoking just outside the entrance. There is only one lift for customer to use. So sometime we have to wait for a long time to take the lift. If you stay on 4th floor and above, you need to take the lift!.

- Ryan (10/5): Great choice! - The location is great, very near the central station. The service was quick and the perks of staying here is awesome. You will get free drink coupon which you can redeem either beer, soft drink, hot drink, etc and also you got free breakfast with various choices. Ranging from ham, cheese, cereal, bread, milk, juice, local delicacies and so on. Overall it was a perfect stay, even if you share room with 12 people, it was still comfortable and enjoyable. Cheap and reasonable price!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Uncivilized and noisy - I didn't find the bathrooms dirty or unkept (at least not in 2nd floor) and front desk quite friendly and helpful. However, this property seems to attract uncivilized and harassing patrons. From smoking in the bathrooms and bar, harrassing women and shouting, the management did little to keep the other guests at peace. Specially being called a youth hostel, the behavior of some guests was completely non-acceptance. A pitty, then overall the well equipped infrastructure and location has great potential. The breakfast was varied and of good selection. A few fruits)veggies would help for vegetarians. Overall, was the most expensive place we stayed and the worst experience.
- Stanley (6/5): Needs a Happier staff - When I came to check in, I felt that I was not as welcomed. I think it was an off day and it did rain so it was a somewhat gloomy day. I do think internet was fine as it is and was fat. Hopefully staff service can be improved in the future.Free breakfast and a great bar but those are mainly the strongest benefit
- Christina (8/5): - The hostel is about 3 minutes walk from the Munich Central Station, very convenient. Free drink every night at the bar, good for meeting new people. However, the hot water shower is not hot enough and there is no hook to hang your clothes and shower gel etc. There is a small laundry room in 1/F, however, the dryer took me like 1.5hr to dry the clothes…… Staff are friendly but there will be no one at the reception at around 12am
- Yee Ming (4/5): Shower room problem and noisy guests - The shower head design is quite bad that it may wet your clothes even you hang it with a plastic carrier. There is no heater in the toilet,so it's too cold inside the shower room. The teenagers staying there made a lot of noise along the corridor,they were shouting, running, banging and slamming the door and even did exercise on the corridor from 8pm to 11pm for the consecutive 3 nights. The staff at the counter was not willing to help though I complained 3 times. The double decker bed on the lower part is too low, our head easily hit the metal bed and it's painful. The breakfast timing should be flexible as we have to leave earlier b4 7am, the hostel should let us have our packed breakfast but the staff in the kitchen did not allow us to have our breakfast at about 655am.
- Tsiu (6/5): It needs more labours to manage such a big hostel - During my 5 days staying in The4you, the floor of the dorm. been wiped only once but not under beds:))
- Hannah (8/5): - Nice place, met some great people. Bar staff are friendly.You get a free beer token for each night you stay. But the bathroom isn't ensuite, so you have to go down the hall. But there is a lift which helps with heavy baggage.
