• Jean-Baptiste (9/5): Super point de chute à Dubrovnik - L'emplacement, la disponibilité de l'hôte pour l'arrivée, l'espace de la chambre et de la salle de bain. Le fait d'avoir des lits jumeaux collés n'est pas idéal pour dormir à deux, mais ils étaient néanmoins confortables. Les cafés et thés à disposition ne nous convenaient pas, dommage, mais donc rien qui nuise à cette super expérience à Dubrovnik.

It gave a good balance of cosy and modern but just prepare yourself for steps (also - The location of the property was great, right in the old town and close to the local sights; however off the main track enough so it is quiet at night. We were not prepared for the amount of steps up to the property as well as inside the property. We ended up having to leave our main luggage in the small entrance area of the property as we were unable to carry our suitcase up the narrow stairs within. This wasn’t a problem but was far from ideal.

• Anna (9/5): Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Dubrovnik in einem sehr komfortablen und sehr schön eingerichtetem Apartment. - Super schöne Unterkunft mit toller Terrasse. Tolle Lage in einer ruhigen Straße. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war einwandfrei. Etwas hellhörig, man hörte die Nachbarn über uns oder im Flur. Man sollte bedenken dass ma mit dem Auto zur Unterkunft nicht fahren kann um ma einige Treppen laufen muss (Gepäck/Einschränkungen)

• Morag (10/5): Comfortable, clean, centrally located accommodation with character features. More expensive than Zagreb or Split, but we - Dubrovnik Sweet House is truly a sweet property. Two couples traveling together had two rooms right across from each other. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, clean and affordable. Upon arrival, we followed the directions given on our phone which meant climbing two very steep stairways with luggage (before climbing additional stairs inside the property). It would have been helpful to walk beyond and access the property via the shame stairs as this reduced the number of stairs. The property is well-located but visitors should be prepared for a significant climb.

• Nina (8/5): Super! - Es war sehr gemütlich und süss eingerichtet! Unser Zimmer hatte sogar eine kleine Terasse. Die Lage war zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Auch die Kommunikation mit Goran hat super funktioniert. Leider hört man durch den Holzboden die anderen Gäste ein wenig.

• Viviani (10/5): - La ubicacion espectacular, el apartamento muy lindo y muy ordenado. Con todo lo.que necesitas para pasar bien y con una linda vista desde la ventana. Muy buena ventilacion, ya que tiene 3 ventanas. Ubicado Al lado de la muralla que esta comtra el mar y a un paso de la puerta que te lleva a uno de los lugares para poder bañarte en el mar.

• Caroline (10/5): - Arrived to a friendly welcome. Fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Being in a small side street meant that it was quiet at night. Our room was a comfortable size for the two of us. A clever use of space. The air con was appreciated. There are a number of steps up to the property, so beware of this when carrying a case. But it should be noted there are steps everywhere in Dubrovnik. You cannot avoid them. It is a small price to pay to be able to stay in the heart of the city.

• Juliana (10/5): Excelente - La habitación era muy linda, limpia y bien equipada. La ubicación es buena, está en pleno centro histórico de Dubrovnik. Se llega muy rápido caminando a todos los puntos de interés. Llegamos tarde por la noche y pudimos hacer el check-in de forma remota siguiendo las instrucciones que nos enviaron, todo perfecto. Buena atención del anfitrión. Hay muchas escaleras para llegar (aunque así es en toda la ciudad) y algunas más dentro del lugar. Para que tengan en cuenta las personas con problemas de movilidad.
• Elley (8/5): A few days in Dubrovnik - Location was excellent for exploring the old tiwn. The building had been sympathetically renovated to a high standard.. It's was also lovely to have an outside terrace. Shower needed updating but bathroom was lovely. Lack of storage and hanging space, however if staying for a long weekend this wouldn't have been a problem, however this was the start of our 2 week holiday. Noisy guests above but this is no reflection on the apartment

• AMANDA KINSLEY-SMITH (10/5): Central but still quiet at night - The location is excellent. It is close to the hustle and bustle of the Old Town but because it is up steps off a side street it is quiet at night. Gino stayed in touch on the day we were arriving and was very understanding about our bus from Kotor being late! We were very impressed by how well the space had been used. It was light and bright and felt airy. The views were great, especially from the writing desk upstairs. Sweet House is the right name for this place. We would stay again. We liked everything!

El caso histórico de Dubronik que lo puedes ver en un día y medio - En realidad se debería de dar mas información sobre lo que es el casco histórico de Dubrovnik. Los escalones son múltiples y uno tiene que llegar al apartamento con maleta tras un trayecto de mas de 500 metros. El caso histórico es un valle con dos laderas pendientes e infinitos escalones en cada una de ellas. Esto es lo que hay Dubrovnik Sweet House tiene tres habitaciones y creo que me toco la peor. La numero 3. Cuando llegas al apartamento ya cansado tienes que subir dos plantas en una escalera muy estrecha, es la subida del Mortirolo. Una vez dentro de la habitación que no es muy grande y no tiene vistas, el cuarto de baño esta en una tercera planta, por lo que cada vez que tienes que ir al cuarto de baño a hacer cualquier cosa tienes que subir escaleras empinadas y estrechas.

It was very convenient to be in the old town and we are glad we chose The Sweet house for our stay. Dino was there to welcome us at the gate and help us with the luggage . He also has great knowledge of the city and provided with facts as we walk to the house.

• Anna (9/5): A perfectly located lovely apartment to explore the Old Town. - If you want to be in the heart of the Old Town, but just enough away from the hustle and bustle, then this is the perfect place for you... tucked away in one of the many narrow, cobbled streets, The Sweet House provided the perfect place for us to explore without having to be far away from anything at all. It was a good size, with all the amenities you need.. the very welcome air conditioning in the room really helped! There were lots of steps up the the apartment.. but obviously that is Dubrovnik Old Town.. so if you struggle with bags and steps, then this might be tricky for you. However, the Owner and his son were both super helpful and helped us carry bags up and down on our arrival departure.

• Ana (9/5): Amazing central room, great host and very quiet - I genuinely loved everything. Really nice place, the host was incredibly kind and helpful (helped with carrying luggage at check in and check out), really central in the Old Town and just a short walk away from very nice restaurants, cafes, shops and everything you might need. It was quiet and comfortable too. The only downside is the stairs!!! Too many stairs overall but again, not really a negative thing as that was stated in the property description. Also, Dubrovnik is full of stairs everywhere and if you want to stay there, there’s no escape from that.

They had someone meet us at the Ploce gate to walk us to the room. It was tucked away and very quiet, but still right there in the heart of Old Town. We will definitely be staying there again!

• Alison (9/5): Fantastic home for our 4 night stay as 3 couples - Fabulous location enabling us to get to bars and restaurants easily. Comfy beds, quiet streets, well-functioning air-con but able to fully open windows too. Showers great even though being used simultaneously in the house (you can feel a reduction of pressure but no sudden temperature change). There is no point to mentioning the amount of steps as that’s what you have signed up to by staying in Old Town. Being very near Jesuit Stairs meant easy to find. The host, Marino, was great with consulting on our plans to see things, and he also offered very cost-effective safe transport. The only improvement we could think of would be a capsule coffee machine in each room so we could buy our own capsules rather than use kettle and instant. We never choose a room without at least a kettle. Fridge was great for storing our own milk.
• Jennifer (10/5): - This is a little jewel in the Old Town. The rooms are attractively renovated and the location is ideal for exploring. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, who arranged transfers from the airport and to the port, helped with suitcases on the steep walk, and generously shared their love and knowledge of Dubrovnik.

• Mark (8/5): Very good - The communication with the host was very smooth. Instructions were given very clearly. Gino and Marino were both kind and respectful. The location was excellent as it was situated in the heart of Dubrovnik's old town. I can hear footsteps from the room above mine all throughout my stay. The mattress was two single mattresses combined to make it a queen size mattress hence there was a gap in the middle which made it massively uncomfortable. Throughout my 7-day trip in Croatia, this was the most expensive room I have ever booked but it was the most uncomfortable as well.

• chris (10/5): The room hugs you - This was the cutest room ever. Very cozy and comfortable with a good bathroom and amazing views. I absolutely love how well it was decorated and how soft it just felt. I do wish there was a little less mold around the window frames and above the shower. I'm in a sensitive group for mold and was very concerned. However, it didn't cause any issues and I would still book the same room on a future return trip.
• Harmita (10/5): A 10/10 stay at Dubrovnik Old Town! - Everything is perfect! Service : 5 stars! Gino is extremely nice, he helped to pick us up and carry our big luggage from the gate to the property. Without him, to be honest we dont have any idea how to survive the stairs. Though apparently it is not a very long / steep stairs. Property : it is a 2 stairs property, with bedroom downstairs and bathroom upstairs. Quite unique but very clean and well decorated! They certainly put attention to details on navigating the limited space. Location : very conveniently located nearby the jesuit stairs (the walk of shame stairs of cersei), and just 1 min walk from Buza Bar, and 5 min to main street. Additional sweetness : The view from the upstairs window is so lovely. This property certainly deserves a 10/10. Nothing!

• Steve (10/5): Dubrovnik Sweet House - Dubrovnik Sweet House was a fantastic location centrally located in the Old Town and very close to just about everything you would want to see in Dubrovnik. The room was very nice and comfortable but note that there are a lot of stairs to get to it but the owner met us before we got to the Old Town gate and walked us up to the room which was very helpful. Highly recommend this place to stay.
• vesna (10/5): - Sweet House in Dubrovnik offers a lovely and charming room, perfect for a comfortable stay. However, be prepared for a bit of a climb, as there are a lot of stairs to reach the property. The only downside was some noise from guests in the room above. Despite this, the owner was extremely attentive and helpful, especially when we had trouble with the air conditioning. Overall, a pleasant experience with minor inconveniences.

There are a lot of stairs to get to the property. I was aware of this so it wasn’t an issue, but it’s worth noting. The location was worth it, however.

• Janet (9/5): A lovely immersion in Old Town Dubrovnik at Dubrovnik Sweet House - We loved the location of this property as it was right in old town Dubrovnik and very close to restaurants and all attractions. It was great to be immersed in the old world experience. It was relatively quiet too. We could also hear the sounds of musical instruments from students playing at the nearby Music School. Very special and it added to the ambiance. The room was very quaint. We really enjoyed this place. Stayed 4 nights The bathroom was up some stairs but we got used to that.

Just the stairs up n down to piazza and stairs to bathroom. A ceiling fan in the bedroom would’ve been wonderful. All in all it was enjoyable and clean.

The aircon was already running when we arrived, which was a bonus as it was very warm outside.
