As a Taiwanese person visiting Singapore, I felt especially welcome and warmly received by Sister Lulu at IBIS Singapore Novena. I will definitely recommend IBIS Singapore Novena to my family and friends if they ever visit Singapore.

• pick_jeremy (8/5): A solid choice for a Singapore stay. - I spend 100 nights a year in Ibis properties and this hotel is standard Ibis. Great bed; good shower; WiFi works well. The breakfast was not exceptional but perfectly adequate. I would like to highlight two, very good employees. Nicholas, in the restaurant, and Jensen. Both gentlemen worked exceptionally hard, always with a smile. They are both a great credit to their hotel. Just 100 m away ( exit left from the hotel, go right at the corner, and cross the street ), is Zhongshan Mall. They have a Pizza Hut, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Subway, 7-11. There is a barbershop on the ground floor and a fantastic supermarket on the second floor. A 10 minute walk ( exit hotel, go right ) from the hotel is the Novena MRT station. Buy a 3, 4, 5 day pass at the ticket office for unlimited travel on the subway and buses. Note: they will only accept Singapore cash for purchase of the pass. I would stay at this property in the future.

There was a long table which could act as your dinner table or a workstation and a couch next to sit where you sit on. Considering it's Singapore where people are usually not too friendly, I very much appreciated the staff, flexible, smiling and professional. Room really narrow, but at least windows Is big. Lobby Is tiny, often very crowded. Also, no bottled water in the room. Empty bottles are available at the reception, sometimes water dispenser is not even too close to room (there is only one each floor).As a result, I am happy to go to supermarket and buy a massive lot of plastic bottles in order to harm the bloody environment as much as possible.

• rodashaynea (10/5): Our home away from home.. - During our 40-day stay at the hotel for my son’s Medical Treatment at a nearby hospital, we experienced the Singaporean Hospitality like no other.. We found a family away from home.. With commendable staff from room cleaners to restaurant crew to front desk staff and sales managers, I must say that the hotel upholds professionalism and compassion among hotel staff no matter their position in the company.. I commend Mam Jolin of the Oopen Restaurant for being so kind, caring and compassionate especially to the needs of my son undergoing therapy.. Checking on us even outside the hotel, if we are fine.. She’s an asset to the hotel.. I also commend Mam Hilary Kong for being so kind and caring beyond her call of duty.. Special thanks also to Sir Nicolas for being helpful always.. And to the whole hotel staff for showing us kindness throughout our stay.. Thank you very much and “Mabuhay kayong lahat!..” Hotel Location is very convenient for tourists.. 1min walk and 5 min walk to nearby malls, 1 min walk too, to two bus stops, 8 min walk to the nearest MRT station and three other bus stops, walking distance too, to temples and Christian Churches.. For medical tourists, it is 5 min walk to medical hospitals and facilities.. The hotel is so clean and rooms are tidied up everyday..

The breakfast could have been more versatile. Coffee was terrible, I wish coffee was better. Overall, it's a good hotel but considering I have stayed in ibis hotels in other countries as well, this wasn't the best for sure. Staff was really nice. They were helpful and really sweet. Coffee wasn't drinkable I would say. It was just okayish. Breakfast could have been better and more versatile considering the price.
