Acertamos no hotel devido a localização, que nos proporcionou curtir a cidade como se fossemos moradores, os locais turísticos fizemos tudo a pé. Quem nos atendeu foi o Sr. Cessare que foi muito educado e solícito. com certeza voltaremos !
- johanna (10/5): Review of hip suites - Very near bars and restaurants. Quite hard to find as no signs just a doorbell. Clean rooms. Only let down is if you have a late flight and there are no suites free, there is only a toilet for facilities no showers and no secure luggage store.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room was good. If u are not a deep sleeper you will have trouble to sleep as there is a lot of noise outside. The Expedia website states (really small at the bottom of the reservation) that you have to pay a fee of 20 € if you check in after 6pm which in my opinion is a lot. Anyways when I arrived I had to pay even more (25 €) otherwise I would not have gotten my room keys. Afterwards I contacted Expedia via telephone and also wrote three emails and they still haven´t managed to get me some of the money back. Disappointed from the service at the hotel and from Expedia customer service.

Also took care of a few hiccups along the way. All in all, a great place to land when in Rome.

Inoltre in 3gg non ci hanno MAI cambiato la biancheria(gli asciugamani non riuscivano ad asciugarsi, li usavamo umidi, li abbiano lasciati per terra con la volontà di farli cambiare, ce li hanno ripiegati e rimessi in ordine, bagnati), forse siano stati sfortunati, perché rispetto alle altre recensioni non ho trovato riscontro. Nota positiva la gentilezza e cordialità del prioritario che per mio errore ci ha aspettati un'ora per il check in.

Vinduene, som vendte mot en bakgård, var dekket av hvit folie. Renhold var tvilsomt. Trangt bad, uten så mye som plass til toalettvesken. Stort nøkkelknippe å drasse på for å komme gjennom de forskjellige dørene. Utsjekkstidspunkt er senest kl 11 og jeg ventet at noen ville være der siden det ikke var avtalt noe tidligere. Men det endte med at jeg bare la fra meg nøkkelen og gikk. Det er ingen wifi, og heller ikke mobilsignaler i mesteparten av rommet.

- Tina (10/5): Best location - We rented an apartment and it had all the facilities you may need. New renovated and very nice. It was in the middle of Trestavere and we had restaurants and bars next door, a chaby chic neighboorhod, very charming. We will come back!
- Tina (4/5): - The room's cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There were mystery stains on the bedspread, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the furniture was worn and had seen better days. The wi-fi worked only part time, and only if you stood right next to the router. The air conditioning similarly worked only part of the time. The staff was friendly through was not available to address my concerns during my stay. I pre-paid for two nights but only stayed one due to these issues.

There are numerous restaurants, shops, atm's, etc, within in walking distance. It is also a very short walk to the taxi stand. The staff was very accommodating and gracious when I asked for several items we did not have - iron, plug converter, etc. Only drawback for us, was our room faced the street and was just above a restaurant. It was extremely loud until about 2:30am the first night we stayed. The noise got a bit better each night. I think because we got use to it and were extremely tired at the end of each day from all the walking around. I think it was so loud the first night because it was a Saturday night. It's nothing that a noise machine would not take care of. The rooms/bathroom are not very big, but that did not bother us the amount of time we stayed - 2 people/4 nights. However, I did see another room that a friend stayed in that was extremely small even for one person.

- George (6/5): Perfect for Adults Always Out, Not For Kids - We had the bottom floor big room. Rafaelle is a great host. Very responsive. Room had a strange configuration. Kind of like a big W with the extra bed in a loft by kitchenette. I think room is too small for 4 people (2 adults, 2 preteens). Hot water heater died on 2 nights resulting in ice cold showers. Wifi router is above cabinet in kitchenette area and is not strong enough to reach the bedroom. So on down time, 4 people were crammed in kitchenette area to get wifi. No place to really sit (like couch). You can sit on beds but we avoided that before showering. There are a few stools in kitchenette but they were uncomfortable. You are given numerous keys for different doors. What we didn't know until day 3 is that to really lock room when leaving, one must turn key counterclockwise at least 6 times to get deadbolt completely in where you just can't push door open. If you only turn key once, a little push on door can open it. We discovered this on accident but fortunately nothing was lost. This room is perfect for two adults who are always out and about. But with kids that want to rest when it gets hot or when they are tired, I would not recommend this place. If I am in Rome by myself in future, I would not hesitate to book this place for myself. In a great area in Trastevere with lots if shops and restaurants.

Staff is very helpful to arrange things like transportation to/from airport, online tickets etc. Small apartment style hotel in a fantastic location where there are restaurants and shops all over. Great to explore Rome's sights during the day and head back to Trastevere for a nice evening. Hotel is simple, clean and comfortable.

- Ellen (10/5): A wonderful hotel in good location - The hotel is in a good location and close to lots of point of interests. The staff is friendly and very helpful. the hotel is clean. Tomaso has been exceptionally helpful. Even before our arrival, he provided me with helpful info of how to get to the hotel. Knowing that this was our second trip to Rome, Tomaso gave us a one-day travel plan to visit other places. He also gives us recommendations of a few good restaurants and what to order. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends. We will stay at this hotel again the next time we go to Rome.

- Zack (8/5): Shockingly nice. - I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked Hip Suites via hotels.com... When I arrived, I was really pleasantly surprised. The location is great and convenient to most everything. It's only six rooms and the service is really personal. Tomaso is extremely knowledgeable about the area and speaks four languages. All the staff was actually really friendly. The rooms themselves are freshly renovated and are a modern surprise within a fairly old building. The friend I was visiting is at school in Travestere, which made the location particularly convenient for me, so next I return to Rome, I'll definitely be staying here again. I'd highly recommend this hotel--and this is coming from a wary traveler that usually only stays in brand-name hotels.
- A. Magnusson (8/5): Nice stay - I stayed three nights at the Hip Suites. Good location, fair price, clean rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. I stayed in a single room which was quite small. Apparently it used to be a part of a large suite, now split in two rooms. It was clean and comfortable so the size didn't bother me so much. But what did bother me was how incredibly thin the walls were. I could literally hear every spoken word, both in the next room (through the thin walls and door, without a threshold) and also the noise from the check-in area. So waking up to some loudspeaking people early in the morning wasn't really the highpoint of my trip. Luckily I had earplugs...
- Phillip (10/5): I know where I'll be staying when in Rome. - Hip Suites was the perfect spot to stay in Rome. It is located within walking distance of The Forum, Colosseum, and many other attractions. The hotel was very clean and the staff were EXCEPTIONALLY helpful (and spoke excellent English). HS is small (only six rooms) and did not offer the typical hotel experience. That's a good thing. I will definitely be staying here every time I return to Rome.
- Chris (10/5): Amazing Location, Excellent Service, Nice Rooms. - Me and my girlfriend spent a few nights in Naples then got the train to Rome for the rest of the week. The hotel was priced good and looked in a good location from google maps/reviews on trip adviser. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly man who told us about our room, the free coffee machine, a map and directions for things to do near by/must sees of the local life. The area wasn't bad to walk around in the early hours after being out all evening/night, many of the bars are open until 1 or 2am. We strongly advise getting a taxi and making sure they know and take you to the hotel door! We were pushed out of the taxi by the driver somewhere nearby and ordered to pay the full price, after 20 minutes wandering around the streets we found the hotel again. The main attractions in the city are an easy walking distance e.g. Piazza Navona 25 mins, Colosseum 35 mins, Trevi Fountain 30 mins. It is nice coming off the main roads and simplest routes to discover the back streets with hidden buildings, statues and restaurants. The bus 23, which takes you to the Vatican and St.Pauls, is only a ten minute walk away and very cheap 1.50 euro. MAKE SURE TO GET YOUR TICKET TIME STAMPED WHEN YOU GET ON THE BUS OR YOU MAY RUN INTO TROUBLE WITH THE TRANSPORT OFFICERS ASKING FOR A 50+ EURO FINE FOR EACH TICKET UN-STAMPED! Overall it was an amazing trip! Thank you :D

- CJ (10/5): Perfect location and Lovely room - This was a fantastic place in the heart of the bustling and trendy Trastevere neighborhood of Rome. We walked to all the major landmarks of the city including the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, and Colosseum (All about 20 to 25 minutes walking). There are countless restaurants and cafes within 5 min walking and even more near the Camp del Fiori (10 min walking). Tomaso the owner of Hip Suites was incredibly helpful and spent a lot of time with us recommending places to go and things to do. All of the restaurants he recommended were wonderful. He was very knowledgeable. Its almost like a bed and breakfast, in that Tomaso is around all of the morning and on a limited basis in the afternoon, but he is very accessible by email or phone if you need anything. The room was very clean and nice with a white decor. The junior suite was spacious for a Rome hotel. We had more than enough room and very much enjoyed this place. Would highly recommend and stay here again.
- David (10/5): Great Hotel in the best neighborhood in Rome - Great home base to explore Rome. The neighborhood is scenic and wonderful. The hotel is perfect and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly.
- eutravels2013 (4/5): Extremely noisy, inside and outside - The hotel itself is fine and quite well located. But the noise from the street was awful and the rooms are not soundproofed to an efficient extent. It continued until 4am and there were even people passing out flyers about reducing the noise in the area. and then began again at 7am in the "reception area" where the staff decided to make calls. The walls are paper thin so we could hear everything clearly and loudly. It was ridiculous. This continued on a Saturday morning until 9am. Also, none of the staff I saw during the trip said hello or asked how things were going. Compared to other hotels, I felt I was just another credit card to run. I do not recommend it and I will not stay here again.
- AP (10/5): Great location and service - Good value. Friendly service and helpful. Breakfast cafe has illy coffee and usual pastries, free machine coffee also available outside room. I booked this hotel because of the location and that was the best thing about this hotel, although you may need earplugs for sleeping because Trastevere is so vibrant, especially at night. Twin beds are small but comfortable. Great air-con but wi-fi was slow/weak.
- Kim (10/5): Spotlessly clean, trendy room in fantastic locatio - A lovely clean room in an area that is very atmospheric - cobbled streets, lots of lovely restaurants to choose from, street entertainers and a lovely vibe. And easy to walk to all of the attractions of Rome. The room was big with high ceilings and all mod cons - wi-fi, laptop, fridge, safe, hairdryer. We'd definitely book again. My only citicisim is that breakfast is very basic - a pastry, orange juice and coffee!
- Wendy (8/5): Great location - Lovely hotel in the heart of Trastevere! The staff are very friendly and spent time showing us recommendations on a map. Our room was comfortable and clean. My only criticisms would be that the pillows are a little lumpy and that it would have been nice to have some hooks in the room's entrance area to hang coats (especially if you're been caught out in the rain!). You have a choice of 2 cafes for breakfast - go for Baylon Cafe - much nicer food and atmosphere!
- Marianne (8/5): Interesting part of Rome - The room is small and the shower very small. If you are sensitive to noise the area the hotel is located in does not stop in activity( that can be loud ) till past 2:00 am. Special thanks to Tomasso who helped us with airline confirmations and recs :)

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location, helpful owners - I stayed for 2 nights for a business trip - had to change dates twice and the owners were very accommodating. Right in the heart of Trastevere which is a lovely part of the city. There's quite a "do it yourself" feel - it's not exactly a B&B as you're not living in someone else's house, and not a hotel either - but i really liked the sense of independence this gives. - MyPostcardFrom (10/5): Spotless, helpful and convenient - Excellent location about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Rome or just a couple of minutes to the tram. We only had a day in Rome but Tom, the receptionist showed us where to go on a map and the best places to eat. Not a hotel in the usual sense as it was in an apartment block but was right in the centre of Trestevere. Rooms were spotless and had free wifi and access to a laptop within the room . Would definitely go back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Unique and wonderful place to stay in Rome - We did A LOT of research before deciding on Hip Suites for our Rome stay, and it paid off. Great old apt. building with a sleek, clean, comfortable room. Young, pleasant, helpful staff gave us a lot of great tips on dining and other Rome attractions. Not your typical accommodation -- in a good way. Bravo/Brava to Hip Suites! Would stay here again without hesitation.
- Matt (10/5): Great rooms in a great location! - Very clean room with modern decor, firdge in room and laptop provided in room for accessing the internet, along with free wi-fi if you want to connect using your own laptop/phone. Breakfast is a voucher to get a continental breakfast (croissant & coffee) frm a local terrace cafe.....much better than a standard hotel canteen, although it wasn't quite enough to satisfy my appetite. The location is excellent, right in the tick of Trastevere and surrounded by bars, restaurants and cafes, and leisurely walk across the river to the centro historico or north to the Vatican. I'd highly recommend!
