Guest Reviews
- RAHUL KHULLAR (10/5): - Amazing beds & Clean as compare to other budget indian hotels. In house food was delicious. Staff was friendly Special thanks to the Manager who went out of the way to help us organizing our further trip in India. Everything was great 👍 👌
- Peter (6/5): - Friendly staff and a comfy bed in a hotel close the Taj. Cockroach in the bathroom and the streets around felt a little unsafe at night.
- Singh (10/5): Had a wonderful stay — the hotel offered great comfort, warm hospitality, and an excellent location to explore Agra. - I really liked the overall ambience of the hotel. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff was courteous and helpful throughout our stay. There wasn’t any issue I found with the property — overall, everything was excellent and exceeded my expectations.
- Mahima (1/5): Bad - Nothing
- N (3/5): Very dissatisfied - The staff is friendly. The room was extremely small for the price paid. It was in no way similar to the picture they had put up on the website. There was the owner's daughter's engagement on the day of our stay, so we weren't even allowed to upgrade our rooms even though we were ready to pay. There was loud music playing in the night from the function.
- Soni (1/5): Bad -
- Robert (4/5): Dirty - Location is decent. Breakfast was good. Dirty. The toilet was covered in feces when I arrived and when I requested that it be cleaned they just rinsed it down with water--no cleaning chemicals. It made me question the cleanliness of the entire room/hotel, which already looked a bit dirty to begin with.
This hotel may have high ratings, but it's no where near the quality of a standard, major hotel chain.
- Oleksandr (4/5): Disappointing -
- PRIYANSHI (10/5): Great experience - Nice stay . Good hospitality
- Anuj (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was awesome Nothing
- Madhav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kizhanatham (9/5): Superb -
- phani (2/5): False advertisement - This hotel doesn't look like the one you see in the above pictures. Hotel staff was very unprofessional.
They recently did pest control to the hotel and it smells horrible and suffocating. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.
- rahul (2/5): hotel is not good - It is very horrible place
- dont go (4/5): hotel is good, but staff is very bad - It's nice hotel to stay there, however hotel staff is uneducated and they don't even have the good manner.
Food is very pathetic and prices are like 5 star hotel
- Verified traveler (2/5): Very very very Satisfsctory - Very very uncomfortable not money worthy quiet far for sight visits except tajmahAl
- Amit (4/5): ad experience with Hotel booked through Internet - The Hotel was in a non-descript residential area with no own parking as advertised on web. The in-house restaurant was not working and even a taste-less cup of tea, sourced from outside stall was charged at Rs. 25/- All the rooms were empty as against the status shown on the web that only 4 rooms are available. The daily charge of Rs. 900/ was too much for such an accomodation which could have ben easily available for 400-500/- with better amenities.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Fooled by the Pictures of this Hotel - It is pity that i have to even rate this hotel. I booked this hotel for two nights but i checked out just after one night.the rooms are not even near to what is shown in the pictures, expedia should take special measurements to see what vendor is posting is genuine or not.
Anyways the rooms were pretty small and smelly, the hotel is situated in the village type environment hard to find, road to reach there is very bad,it is behind the TDI mall and Mc Donalds but dnt get fooled its all village behind this mall.the water comes out of the bathroom into the room while bathing, you will feel that you're almost sitting in the flush while bathing because the bathroom is so small.the locks in the room are useless and beware if you are going with your Gf or wife because they have special staircase outside your room window and the curtains (dnt even ask). Bad experience i wish i cud get my money back.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad - Hotel recommended by you was not good. very bad hotel.
- Jay (2/5): FOR YOUR OWN SAKE DO NOT STAY HERE - Look, I understand this hotel is in India and it's in Agra of all places, but it's not fit to stay in. The beds are damp with dirty sheets. The walls are mouldy. The towels are covered in rust. The bathroom is terrifying. The hotel is down a dirty dusty road in the middle of what I'd describe at best as a field and at worst as a rubbish tip. The staff seem nice enough but have no idea how to maintain a hotel to the bare minimum of standard. As i say, i'm aware of the conditions in India but i implore people to stay away from this hotel. A good recommendation would be the hotel daawat, the staff are incredibly friendly, the cost is cheap, the rooms are warm, inviting and comforting and its probably close to the best you'll get in Agra (short of the Novotel, Radisson etc). If it weren't for the Taj Mahal I would sadly not recommend Agra to anyone, but, it is one of the most incredible buildings in the world. Just a shame that some of its majesty hasn't rubbed off on the hotels in the region. Hotel Daawat all the way!!!
- DebotoshP (2/5): Horrible Experience - The hotel had no information about the reservation, the pic shown in the website is deceiving, hotel staff are localites who dont know how to converse, at the check out day, they would keep calling right from 7 in the morning to chek out, no hospitalty, it gors without saying that the food is horrible and tea and coffee plzz visit nearest CCD. The way to hotel is a pain, not a concrete road.
- mary (4/5): Not Recommended - We have been in India three weeks staying at budget hotels so have a perspective that is realistic. The worse problem with the hotel was the plumbing. Our bathroom had water standing on the floor the whole time we were there. I think it was leaking from the toilet. My sisters room had water standing in the sleeping area too,,,,she slept cold and damp the first night and then asked and got a new room the second night. No one fixed the water problem and they rented the room out again that night. The paid for a space heater to reduce the dampness. The toilet seat on our room as broken and the hook behind the door missing a screw so was unusable.....it would have taken someone ten minutes to repair both of those and the staff stood around most of the time so had the time to do it.One english speaking staff person was very helpful. The boys that hung around wanted to be tipped for everything and weren't very pleasant about it....bringing towels and soap that were missing, changing the room, etc.Tbhe restaurant was a poorly lit basement but the eggs were hot but the water ordered never arrived. We booked an english speaking driver to drive us back to Delhi and the one we got couldn't speak a word of it.
- Erika (2/5): What a dump - Having paid quite a lot for this room and having read the description for it,. we were quite excited to stay in this hotel. The place has been nothing but a disappointment. Room was dirty - they had to come and change our bedlinen to clean ones - which were also stained. The bathroom (with no tub although it says that it has one) overflowed very easily. Cable stopped working after our first day there and they weren't able to fix it. Staff were friendly but expected a tip for everything they have done. They overcharge on everything and phone you morning and night in your room to make sure you eat there. We unplugged our phone but could hear them ringing other rooms at 6:30 in the morning!! The location is aweful and quite dangerous. The hotel can't call you a taxi and it's quite a trek to the main road. If you want to have a good stay in Agra, avoid at all cost!
- Verified traveler (2/5): The Worst Hotel, I have ever been - Hotel is little far from the sight seen, the rooms are small, toilets are very small, bed covers are dirty, no proper dinning room, walls of the room are dirty.
I will not recommend this hotel,
- Verified traveler (4/5): Good Hotel with poor service - The hotel is good.and the location is also good but the service is very very very poor.
They took one hour 45 mnts to serve breakfast in the morning.
I will recommend this hotel only for stay not for food.
