VickyH2400 (2/5): Outdated, rundown and an awful location. Don't stay here. - Don't be deceived by the four stars and images online. This is a very run down hotel in an awful location. I arrived and was first of all told there was no booking for me. Eventually that was resolved. The reception area felt dark and deserted. The restaurant was closed- at 7pm!! There is nowhere nearby to get food. I went to my room which was very run down. Scratched furniture, stained carpets, torn curtains and a very badly damaged TV! I had a shower - water pressure and temperature was ok. But the toiletries provided were insufficient and cheap. I didn't even have a soap!! I did show photos of the damaged items in my room- mainly to make sure I wasn't blamed- the woman on reception just laughed!!! The breakfast the next day was so poor that I didn't bother sitting down to eat. Very limited selection. I have ended up going to the Starbucks which is about 10 minutes away for the three mornings I was there. The location of the hotel is poor- nothing near by except a lot of shipping containers!!

David (8/5): - A very comfortable hotel, perfect for a short stay near the airport or a weekend traveller to Bangkok otherwise you will be spending 1 hour or more travelling into the city centre. Great in room facilities for self catering if desired. Pool difficult to locate.

Reception, food, and correct service. Good value for money. Hotel aging (...or partially), but clean, and maintained.
James (8/5): - The rooms were beautiful and filled with all the amenities I needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was not happy with the breakfast buffet. It was very plain and lacking. There was no pool service. We could not get towels or food/drinks at the pool. Of course Covid was used as the reason. The hotel is a bit difficult to get to. All of our taxi drivers had a difficult time getting to the hotel and often made mistakes getting there. There is an exact path of one-way roads that must be followed to get there. Any deviation requires a great deal of time in getting back on track. We will return to the hotel for the price and room amenities offered.
santa-cruz1614 (10/5): Excellent 2nd to none service - l have stayed here since Sept 2019, during that time it was 2-3 weeks at a time with a 7-10 days away between visits, but in Jan 2020 when the Pandemic hit world wide i opted to stay in country with work, the hotel cut back on a lot of normal services, but they bent over backwards to continue their excellent service for those of us that stayed, with not taking in extra guests, at one stage they only had 8 guests staying, but still the 5 star service and commitment continued. we were all treated like family. i have only just returned back home here in Australia,(still in Quarantine) i know where i will stay next time back in Thailand. to the all staff from the housekeeping team to front of house you guys rock. Reverbus (10/5): Just like home - This is not my first review for Bangna Pride. I have often stayed here for work. The best hotels are always the ones with great management, who get things done quickly and know how to tolerate difficult customers like me, with a smile. Emmie and her staff always do their best no matter what, they will always help, quickly and effectively. They genuinely want you to have a great stay. My job has taken me to some of the world's best hotels over more than 30 years and Bangna Pride ranks amongst the best. On this trip I was stuck in Thailand because of Covid19 and travel restriction. I came for a few weeks and stayed for almost 5 months. I was completely safe and saw all the steps management took to ensure they were meeting the latest requirements. I made one suggestion for breakfast safety and it was implemented by the next morning. The rooms are big and comfortable, the food is very good and it's close to Mega Bangna Mall and there are good local and international restaurants (Italian, Japanese etc) in the area too but you may need a cab to get to them. Great place to stay.

Well this one is the best in my opinion, as the staff lead by Tong Jai have been nothing but Fantastic in their service and professional service nothing is a problem always smiling and friendly, if by chance something is not up to standard or breaks, a quite word at the front desk and Presto all fixed sorted and with a smile. the staff are always ready to help weather it is getting a cab for you to go out some where or where to get a decent proper thai massage, to eating out somewhere apart from there own restaurant. To anyone that has not been satisfied with the hotel and staff i can only ask did you say anything or was it easier to be a keyboard warrior and whinge about it after the fact without giving the hotel and staff a chance to fix the issue.

497felixz (6/5): Nice visit - Located in Bangna bustling area, the main hub to Bangkok, the traffic is really high but still in order. The hotel has a nice lobby, a good restaurant and perfect hospitality from the staffs. Room is spacious as it is a service residence, however there is minor things that the management need to fix the toilet as the water leaks on the floor.
pepperminttm (2/5): Creepy and Smelly - We went to check-in around midnight. The hotel is not the same as pictures, in contrast the building is very old. When we entered to the room the atmosphere is so creepy. The dim light in the room reminded us of some horror movie. And also the terrible odor. We won't recommend this place for anyone.

sureshm730 (10/5): Amazing experience at Bangna Pride ! - My family made a quick getaway to BKK for a 4 day break. Very clear that a city hotel with its hustle and bustle was not an ideal one , we wanted an apartment hotel close to the airport but yet near the city. We chose Bangna Pride because of reviews and also feedback from friends and yes, they did not disappoint ! The airport pick up was spot on, check in was a breeze and and the residence was awesome with a self contained set up. We had some authentic Thai food , and take this from a foodie !The breakfast buffet was great ( try the ginger tea and egg tarts ) and the Bliss Bar served some lovely beverages and succulent grills. The pool , mini soccer ground & squash court were fantastic and 7/11 store below , just convenient ! The hotel also provides comp drops to the gargantuan Mega Bangna mall, a short 10 minute drive that houses an Ikea as well ! Bangna Pride also provides, on request, drops to Udomsuk BTS, from where a ride to to the city takes about 20 minutes. A great 4 nighter and I must thank Emmie , the FO Manager for all her local advise on where to go, do what, and local liaising skills; Mukda, the Exec. Housekeeper, a legend in helping cater to our tiniest of requests, with a keen eye for detail. The hotel Management also was very visible attending to each guest and enquiring about their stay. A fabulous stay, greatly recommended for families to want their own space in the land of smiles, provided a team that believes in smiling at work ! Will be back !

Day staff was much better.

rachellF9746BE (10/5): Overnight stay for my Husband's Birthday ❤️ - I have nothing but great things to say about Bangna Pride Hotel and Residence. We booked this hotel for it's close proximity to Marvel Experience. We made a rush decision and booked it about 10 days before arriving and still secured a rate at under 100$, which is great for a 4.5 star hotel. On Hotels.com I requested a late check out and mentioned my husband's birthday. When we arrived they we're eagerly awaiting us and as we went to our room they wished him a happy birthday, there was even a little birthday cake in the fridge and a birthday card just for him on the table. The room was great, full kitchen, living room, dining room and everything. Two great bedrooms with softer cushions than expected for a hotel bed here in Thailand. When we left the evening of our arrival to go to dinner the front counter staff was amazing and very helpful at grabbing a taxi. And the room service stays open late. Fantastic stay, couldn't recommend it more if you are in need of a hotel near the area of Bangna.

Ian (8/5): Really great team, good hotel but a bit run-down - The hotel was fine - the family suite was great (although air conditioning struggled, and we had to change rooms because of a maintenance issue with the first, and the furniture was a bit tatty). Breakfast was great, the pool was great, the staff were great.
vkport47 (10/5): home away from home - great service staff - We are very impressed with Ms Thanasat & Mr Burnisat for their high level of service and professionalism. Both were patient in answering our questions and even gave us more information than we requested. They deserve the highest commendation for going the extra mile to make all guests happy and feel welcome. Even the porters are very helpful and zealous in making our 5-day stay a very pleasant one.

Breakfast are good as they offer variety of selection. Travelling from hotel is easy as the reception staff are very friendly. We indeed enjoyed our 3 nights of stay.
jameskchou (6/5): Good hotel for business trips but on the fringes of Bangkok - The hotel offered a very reasonable price for booking there on business. However, the hotel is not easily accessible by Uber and taxi drivers will overcharge for pick-up and drop off to other destinations. The hotel is roughly 30 minutes away from the airport but it is nearly 1.5 hours away from downtown Bangkok or any other notable sport in the city. The rooms are generally clean but they do not offer signs to help housekeeping plan their daily cleaning routines. The complimentary breakfast is also nice but for some reason they don't really serve that much local Thai drinks or menus.\ If you are looking for value for money and a hotel that is close to the airport, Bangna Pride is a great choice.

206damienc (10/5): Very nice and reliable - I stayed at Bangna Pride for a few hours due to a delay of my flight. I was very tired and forgot my luggage in the hotel. I contacted the hotel and the staff kindly posted it to my home in Switzerland for a very good price. They only asked me to pay the price written on the post office receipt. I just received my luggage and I am delighted to find all my goods and souvenirs. Thank you very much for your reliability, effective- and kindness. I also eat and slept at the hostel during my short stay and I found the food good, the waiters were nice and helpful and the room was good: nice bed, furniture and cleanness.
911bead (2/5): MISLEADING PICTURES - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE - I do not normally write reviews, however this hotel is NOT what it seems. We stayed here for a night prior to our flight out of BKK. The pictures are completely misleading, frankly I'm shocked that this hotel was given such high ratings - the hotel staff was extremely rude and we were given a very dated room that was the size of a closet. The size of the room wasn't a problem, however the paint was peeling in every crevice, there were water marks, rust and mold on the ceiling and all over the walls and bathroom, and the AC was almost falling off the ceiling. Additionally, the AC barely worked (took about 20 minutes to even begin spewing air), there was a night stand missing from the room, and the amount of mosquitoes in the room was appalling. There were ants crawling all over the bathroom as well. AND THAT WAS ONLY UPON WALKING INTO THE ROOM. At the restaurant, the hotel left the restaurant doors open which proceeded to allow dozens of mosquitoes into the establishment that made it nearly impossible to enjoy the meal. The waitress proceeded to get our order incorrect when we were the only customers in the restaurant. The sliders were barely edible, however the fries were delicious. Upon coming back into the room, halfway through the night the POWER WENT OUT. There was no ventilation in the room, making it impossible to sleep. We called the concierge who said they had absolutely no idea when the power was going to come back on. ADDITIONALLY, at approximately 6am, there was house music blasting from the parking lot next door, as there was a festival that was getting set up. Overall, this was by far the worst hotel experience we have stayed in - do not pay attention to the hotel pictures on the website because it is completely false advertising.We checked out as soon as possible as we would have rather spent 7 hours at the airport rather than this hotel. Stay AWAY from this place. It was a terrible final impression of Bangkok and made us extremely happy to get as far away from that hell hole and to the airport.

Kimberli (6/5): Room filthy and claustrophobic - Our room was really dirty and extremely small. Barely fit the bed. We stayed here last year and our room was very comfortable and roomy. This was extremely disappointing this time. I dropped something that rolled under the bed and there was two inches of dirt under there. Quite disgusting. Service was fine, but I prefer clean.
Katrina (8/5): Great place for pets and family - I booked on hotels.com and never recieved a confirmation email for my booking . So I booked another hotel, then 5 days before my stay they finally emailed my booking so I had already booked another hotel, which left me with a double booking. The apartment was great , highly recommend it, also I had a dog so it is pet friendly but you have to pay an extra $1500 baht for dog . It is a long way from city centre, but it worked for us as we brought our dog to be sent to Australia

Bruce (4/5): Worst Hotel Eperience we've ever had in Bangkok - We arrived here around 11:00 PM in the evening after a flight delay coming from Hong Kong. Once we arrived we were told that our room that we booked wasn't available and that they could put us up in another hotel for the night that was equal to our suite size that we reserved. Then they wanted us to pay for the taxi to the other hotel. After asking them why we should be responsible for paying for another taxi to another hotel and going back and forth for at least ten minutes, they finally agreed to pay for the taxi. Once we arrived at the Novotel hotel it was now 1:20 AM in the morning and we were both exhausted. Our room was tiny and not at all what we were promised it would be, and the room had a moldy smell to it. The next morning Oakwood Residences sent a shuttle to pick us up. I will say that our suite was very spacious and clean, unfortunately that the only good thing about this place. We only received 1 body wash for 4 days, at breakfast no one understands English and it was extremely hard to communicate with anyone. We ordered scrambled eggs well done, then waited 30 minutes before getting 2 eggs sunny side up. This is one booking I regret and I learned a very valuable lesson. I hope anyone reading this thinks twice before making this booking, I hope the staff reads this and makes some nessasary changes to improve there customers experience. Showing up at a hotel to find out that you don't have a place to stay is unacceptable!
Vasily (10/5): A good place to stay before the flight - We've styed this hotel 2 times, first time for one night, and the second time we've spent there 2 nightes. The hotel is modern equipped, kids enjoyed fast elevators, swimming pool and very good cousine in the restaurant. Both times we were staying in apartments (2 rooms and 1 room apartment). It is wery cool to sit around the table the whole family in the morning and have some breakfast we brought with us and put to the fridge. All cooking facilities are in place a cattle, microwave, pans, plates, forks, knives everything like at home. And when kids are sleeping you can spend some time in the living room with laptop. The bed was also very nice, it is big and soft, it was a great pleasure to sleep. I've put 4 of 5 for staff, because we had one problem they didn't help us. We've booked a 2 rooms apartment for 5 people (2 adults and 3 kids) and we've got 2 rooms with 2 big beds, and a sofa in the living room. Kids couldn't sleep altogether in one bed, so we decided to put one of them to the sofa in the living room. I've asked personnel to provide a couple of additional bed sheets and they couldn't provide them. So the overall impression of the hotel is very good, everything is clean and comfortable.

Verified traveler (6/5): Overrated - The place is farther from both the airport and from the MEGA mall than described by some other reviewers. It looks quite impressive. However, even though I'd paid in advance, check-in took quite a while (most of the staff didn't speak English very well). More importantly, my room was dysfunctional. The bathroom sink didn't work, and there were many unpaying guests--living and dead moths--to keep me company (and awake). The corridors were not air-conditioned. While the sink was repaired, I do not believe the place adequately cleans and keeps in shape at least some of the hotel rooms.

Prachai (6/5): Good facilities " POOR " service mind - What I know about " OAKWOOD " is leading International brand in full service apartment, so services and facilities provided are the same as 4 or 5 star hotels standard of service. If you're talking about hotel facilities, sure ! they met this standard but if you're talking hospitality service from their staff, " NO " I don't think so ! When we checked in, they just checked us in and gave us " KEY " . They didn't even tell or guide us where the elevator is ? Where we can have our breakfast or breakfast serve at what time ? They just gave us " This is your room number and your key ! That's it !!! ( Their lobby is a small lobby and you can't see where the elevator is from the lobby.) Second is I checked out and realized that I perhaps left my account book in the room, so I sent them an enquiry through their official web site. Nobody get back to me. Luckily I got reservation's email, then I sent her to seek her help to pass my message to people concerned. She was so helpful pass my message to ROOM DIVISION and SALES department. You know I still haven't got any response from them till " NOW " Fortunately I've contacted my bank about this lost. So there's nothing missing from my bank account. Therefore if you are thinking to select this property, yes it is one of a best choice hotel in Bangkok ( if you can look over their staff's service )

Verified traveler (10/5): Good value fairly near airport - Fairly close to airport ($6 taxi fare). Great room: large bathtub, lots of hot water, clean room, TV, refrig, hot water boiler, safe, and slippers are all provided. The only problem is location: Not walking distance to any local stores, except for one 7/11 store in next building, accessed through a labarinth of hallways. Taxi to Metro Skytrain is about 10 minutes and a $3 fare. Skytrain downtown fare is $2.50 or $4.50 for an all day pass. On site restaurant was very expensive, but the free buffet breakfast was great.

We arrived late at night after 12 hours flying and Oakwood was ideally located. The staff made us so welcome and the facilities were just what we needed.

My family really enjoyed staying here. The facilities were great, the room was fantastic. It is close to a mall with good eating options. It is not close to many tourist destinations, so would not plan to stay here for more than transit.

Its a bit far from all the hotspots of Bamgkok. Since we were there only for a day couldn't explore the surrounding area.
