Avi8675 (7/5): Great location, horrible wifi - Location was excellent, close to everything, nothing more than 15-20 min walk. Wifi was awful. It was spotty at best, only working about half the time, and when it did work, it was slow. If you don't need wifi, then this place is good.
Kristin (9/5): Loved it and would stay again! - Location was fantastic. We also loved the workmanship of the hotel. If you have young kids or are elderly, the stairs leading up to the bedrooms are steep. It was not problem for us but something to consider.

I asked for two sets of blanket as I travel with my family and we would like to have separate blankets. The hotel’s response was terrible and even if it was cold at night they wouldn’t provide extra blankets. Terrible terrible attitude. PLUS - no room cleaning, no luggage keeping after check out. The washing machine didn’t work at all.

Chris (9/5): Very enjoyable, would go back to Florence and would certianly stay there again. - The apartment was in a great location and made it very easy to get around Florence. It is in a lovely traditional building, which gave the stay a lot of character, and the apartment itself was clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. The staff were also very friendly and took the time to show us around when we arrived. The only small downsides were that the apartment felt a little smaller than it appeared in the photos, and it could be a bit noisy at night. That said, the noise is understandable given how good and central the location is.

The door of the room has a problem, it does not close securely, one gentle push and you can open it, I noticed on my last day, it should definitely be fixed.

Communication with First of Florence was very good and prompt - everyone friendly and helpful. Apartment ideal for single person or couple. Well equipped for making light meals. Convenient supermarket a few yards away.the The apartment was a little gloomy when I visited in February during a rainy period, but well lit with electric light. The digital locks on street and apartment doors were a little difficult to master to begin with - but help was always at hand.

Alessandro (10/5): L’anno prossimo se posso ritorno con piacere 😉 - L’appartamento si trova in una zona centralissima ma tranquilla la notte, a due passi dal Duomo, con tanti locali e negozi. Con due bimbi piccoli, io e mia moglie l’abbiamo trovata comodissima soprattutto perché a piedi, con due passeggini, si può visitare tutto il centro storico. Anche stare a casa la sera, dopo una giornata fuori, era piacevole e rilassante. Se si ha la macchina ci sono un paio di garage custoditi a pagamento nella parallela di via dei servi, ed è una bella comodità visto che in centro non si può parcheggiare.

Ensuite, chambre (grand lit très confortable) et salle de bain à l'étage. Spacieux, calme, propre et cozy. Le logement a depassé nos attentes. J'ai bcp apprecié la déco comme si cétait la maison de mes grands-parents. les meubles en bois pour le rangement aussi. lave vaisselle et machine à laver inclus! que du luxe dans un hotel. Situé dans le centre ville de Florence, tout est proche à pied. tout était parfait.

ΖΩΗ (10/5): Ένα άνετο και ήσυχο με ευγενικό προσωπικό κατάλυμα κοντά στη Duomo - Πολύ άνετο διαμέρισμα, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο. Ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό το προσωπικό ( ιδίως η κυρία που φρόντιζε για την καθαριότητα του διαμερίσματος. Μας εξήγησε πώς λειτουργούν οι συσκευές). Υπήρχε ρεσεψιόν που λειτουργούσε κατά τις ώρες του check in. Σε γενικές γραμμές ήταν ένα ήσυχο και σε ιδανική θέση για περιηγήσεις κατάλυμα. Υπήρχαν 3 μπάνια αλλά τα 2 είχαν διάφορα προβλήματα. Υπήρχαν περισσότεροι διακόπτες για το φως από όσους έπρεπε. Η πόρτα του διαμερίσματος χρειάζεται επισκευή ( χρειάστηκε να επικοινωνήσουμε με τους υπεύθυνους για να μας ανοίξουν.) Μια μικρή ανακαίνιση θα το έκανε τέλειο!

The beds were very hard, the flat needed some maintenance (loose handles, curtains off the rail) and was quite noisy in the evening with garage truck collections and people walking home from pubs/restaurants. Sound proofing wasn’t great.

Joan (7/5): Excellent location and a well appointed kitchen, but extremely small apartment with ventilation issues in the bathroom. - The location is outstanding. The apartment faced the courtyard so it was extremely quiet. The kitchen is well-appointed and everything worked well. Heater worked well thankfully so we cranked it up to try and dry out the air. The apartment has a significant issue with condensation, mold and damp due to single pane windows and poor ventilation in the bathroom. I would not recommend staying in apartment 8 during the winter for this reason.
Bastow (9/5): Awesome Apartment with Charm - The apartment surpassed expectations and was large, clean and fairly updated, with nice furnishings. The location was convenient and was really close to the Gallerie 'dell Accademia and the Duomo. The young woman that greeted us and gave us the instructions was nice and helpful. The street on the backside below our windows was super noisy at night. The community trash cans were located there and EVERY night the trucks would come to empty them and wake us up. LFJ (9/5): Toplocatie en fijne kamer/studio. - Ligging tov bezienswaardigheden, supermarkten, eetgelegenheden. De kamer (appt. 3) met de voorzieningen (keukenblok, strijkplank, magnetron, etc). Tram T2 rechtstreekse verbinding vliegveld, halte San Marco Universita ligt op 3 minuten lopen van de B&B. Geen negatief commentaar, wel wat observaties: geen geluidsisolatie, alle geluiden van de straat hoor je. In de locatie (kamer 3) mag er wat aandacht naar de badkamer: schimmel op plafond en een beschadigd verwarmingselement boven de deur. Sowieso valt in Italië op dat badkamers vaak ruim zijn, maar gek genoeg de douchecabines nogal klein zijn, ook hier.
MIHO (2/5): ネット環境が欲しい！ - 宿の担当の方は、英語すらままならない私に対して、ブッキングコムのアプリでの連絡も併用して、下記トラブルへの解決方法を探して下さり、対応が悪いということはありませんでした。そして、スマホからネットに繋げることは出来ませんが、テレビからはYoutube等々見られて良かったです。本来泊まる宿はの設備に不具合があり、交換が間に合わないとのことで、別のアパートメントへの宿泊となったため、正確にはこの宿の評価ではありませんが、宿泊先は問題が山積していました。まずはバスタブがないこと。大きなジャグジーがあることが、宿を選んだポイントだったので、湯船で疲れを癒せないのは残念。そして2階のベットルームは暑くなりがちで、1階は温度を上げても中々温まりませんでした。ただ、2日目には1階の暖房をつけっぱなしにして観光に出かけたら、改善されました。かなりの問題が、シャワーのお湯が途中で水になってしまうこと。2日目は2人同時にシャワーを使わずにタイミングをずらしたら大丈夫でしたが、同時に入れないと、複数のシャワールームがある意味はない気がします。もうひとつ、ドライヤーとオーブンを一緒に使ったからか、電気が飛んでしまいました。シャワーの件と共に、2人以上で使うには無理がある造りなのではと思いました。そして最大の問題が、部屋ではほぼ完全にネットもったため、電話も使えないこと。なお、2階にいると、夜中のうちに各種アプリに対する通知は入ってきたので、ごく僅かに電波を受信出来るタイミングはあるようです。また、近くのレストランでもネットが使えなかったので、これは宿独自の問題というよりは、地域の問題かもしれません。という訳で、水のシャワーで身体が冷えてしまったなかで電気が飛んでしまい、まだ髪も半乾きの状態で、宿の人と連絡を取るために、中庭に出ざるを得なくなり、解決するまでの1時間弱、ほぼ外気にさらされており、風邪をひいてもおかしくない状況となりました。電気に関しては、アパートメントの入口脇にあるブレーカーの他に、部屋を出たホールに、おそらく建物内の全てのアパートメントの電気をコントロールするためのブレーカーがあり、そこを上げることで解決しました。
Boldizsár (8/5): - Fantastic location, good homebase for exploring Florence. The kitchen is well-equipped and the room is spacious! The room was very noisy, we could hear people just talking on the street and the even louder street cleaning machine coming around after midnight. I recommend sleeping with earplugs (at least in the street-facing rooms).

Zoe (7/5): Great location but for the price, wasn’t a very pleasant room - The location is fantastic Good to have washing machine Can’t get fresh towels Only provide shampoo/body wash The room smelt kind of weird? Understand it’s an older property but could do with new curtains/furniture. Mattress is very old. Shower is so small and had mould growing.
Jon (7/5): - La ubicación es lo mejor. No hay personal, sólo para cobrar cuando llegas. Nos dieron una dirección de la oficina para dejar el equipaje el día que volvíamos y la dirección no era la correcta, ni siquiera el nombre de la empresa. Dejamos el equipaje en una oficina con otro nombre pero que debían de ser los mismos... El apartamento era muy húmedo, con ruidos mecánicos que venían de la planta baja. Las camas no son muy cómodas.

Stephen (3/5): Bathroom was the same age as the basilica. - The BnB location was superb - close to the most important sites. The bathroom was extremely dated and needs a complete redo. The toilet is from the 1920s. The shower door did not close properly so lots of water went onto the floor. There were no spare towels so soak up some of the water, and to request some would require us to pay an additional charge. The room and furnishings were also outdated and stained. Then at checkout, we were instructed to take the trash down the street. This is the first time we have ever been asked to haul out the trash. The ad said there was a washer, then that there was none. There is a washer/dryer, but it didn’t work so I guess the ad was right - yes washer but not working so no washer. Likewise, there is an elevator to the BnB, but once inside, our room was up one flight of stairs for us to carry our luggage. The instructions for accessing the property were sent after we had left our previous BnB so we did not see them until we were standing at the door. Less than convenient.
