Guest Reviews

- Gustavo (8/5): -
- Victor (10/5): Viviendo como la gente local. - El diseño de la posada. La calidez de los anfitriones. La ubicación para visitar la zona. Nada relevante a comentar.
- Jodie (7/5): A charming place to stay that is clean and relaxing. - The staff and layout. Very charming and lovely. The pool wasn’t cleaned. It had a green scum at the waterline and the water was cloudy with bugs in it. The air conditioning worked well but it did leak.
- Annatina (10/5): - My friend and I had a great stay at Posada Borravino. Most comfortable bed of the trip in a spacious room. The garden and pool area were lovely and Rodolfo was incredibly kind and went above and beyond. The area is also very convenient to visit beautiful vineyards in the region.
- Solomon (9/5): We had a lovely stay - The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The shower head was small and weak
- Diksha (1/5): Outdated photos - Nonexistent - a few stale pastries and coffee for breakfast. The one lady working was friendly though she spoke no English. We just checked out and I feel compelled to save anyone else the horror of staying here. As some of the other reviews allude to, the pictures are very outdated. The place is past its prime, the furniture is aged & stained, the pool is disgustingly murky and there was no redeeming service either. The one poor lady who spoke no English manned kitchen, cleaning and front desk. The breakfast consisted of nothing- maybe 2-3 medialunas that finished fast and some wilted fruit. We had kids in tow and there was nothing on offer. We specifically booked this place for the pool and it was filthy. The AC in the apartment barely worked and we slept poorly. Stay somewhere else- anywhere else!!
- Carlos Francisco (9/5): - Todo Ok Algunos detalles
- Guillermo (10/5): -
- ana (8/5): Se cortó la luz - Ubicación. Deco en general. El baño. Piso mojado estaba al ingresar. Toallas viejas.
- Axel (10/5): Excellent - Very nice and relaxing, owner Rodolfo goes out of his way to tell you what you can do around the area. Good bottle of wine as a good bye gift was a nice touch, thank you It was exactly as described, no dislikes

- Laurie (9/5): Superb - Very nice property centrally located to wineries and Mendoza. Very gracious staff.nice breakfast in laid-back setting. Great for a few nights stay.
- Nikki (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel was lovely and the staff was so helpful working with us even though we don’t speak Spanish. It was a good location — easy walking (about 20 minutes) to lots of restaurants or a short and cheap Uber.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Karthika (8/5): Perfect for a few days - Very clean helpful owner Rooms have small windows
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -

- Philip (8/5): Lovely, welcoming staff at a posada in the middle of Lujan de Cuyo. - There is private parking, a lovely garden with chairs and tables for coffee in the morning and/or wine at night. The staff, especially Rodolfo, was very welcoming and attentive to our needs or requests. The posada is clean and the neighborhood is quiet. The beds were very comfortable! Breakfast in the morning was sufficient, and the staff was able to schedule tours/visits for us to vineyards and olive oil producers nearby. There is a nice wine list to enjoy a bottle in the garden with family/friends. The walls and doors allow noise from the common areas to fill our bedroom. If there's a party in the dining area or lounge, it felt like we were sleeping in the middle of it. The room felt small, but we did have a lot of luggage so it was partially our fault. While the posada is well-located for vineyard tours in Lujan de Cuyo, there isn't much in terms of food options nearby in the evenings. Nothing within walking distance, so a vehicle is necessary if you want to get out in the evenings.
- Martín (5/5): I can’t recommend this accommodation because my experience was unpleasant. - The property was ok, nothing remarkable to say about! The room was too small, we were accused because one of the sheets had a wine stain but That’s sheets were already there when we arrived to the place, secondly, they try to charge us for a meal that we cannot ate. The Tv was monitor and the cable worked poorly. One night we had to wait almost 15 minutes because the wasn’t anybody to opened us. Finally, Breakfast was very poor too. To sum up the experience was not the better!
- Shailee (7/5): Quick to get Ubers and clean but in a residential area with staff that will be hard to navigate with forgeiners - The property is clean and easy to get Ubers It is in the middle of a residential area. The staff don't communicate what you can and can't do. We were told upon checkout we could be drinking outside wine in our room. We had no idea they just told us it was "on the card" in the room. The card is QR code that says menu, as English speakers we had no idea to check this. The staff tries to be helpful but overall this was a slightly misrepresented stay.
- Marcel (7/5): Good - The location is very nice. The pousada is a kind of small also the rooms were small. The breakfast was not good, old bread, no fresh nice bread. Room was a kind of small also for the rating this pousada recieves and it was not possible to pay with my foreign credit card, then the price had to be changed, so payment was quiet complex and a bit tiring.
- Parker (10/5): Had a wonderful stay at Posada Borravino in Chacras de Correa! - Nestled in a very quiet and pretty location, we had a great stay! Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and beds were super comfortable. Loved the layout and sitting/cafe area, and the outside courtyard was nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We ordered wine and tea to our room a couple times and the service was very prompt! Felt very safe and welcome and the location was solid. We had a car and there weren't some great restaurants not more than a 10 min drive away, and of course wineries were plentiful and close by as well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Blackbox914 (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable rooms, very quiet. They offer a very nice breakfast and have a lovely courtyard to enjoy. Beautiful area. Didn't fint anything not to like!
- Foxm (8/5): Lovely place, excellent location. Explore the nearby wineries by car or bike. - Simple but good breakfast. The service was great and the owner is very kind. He even offered to take us to the centre for some shopping. Really great people. Even with the rustic theme, the bathroom sink looked a bit beaten.
- Martha (7/5): Good stay but not what the photos show. - Location is quite central, a suburban area, 1.5 kilometre walk from town, going through a shady few streets of mostly residential buildings. The pool is lovely and has pretty towels, and the wine barrel decor is really nice, in the pergola/ garden. Breakfast is a good variety and you can request eggs or an omelette. Beds are comfortable. Stayed two nights-- several pictures are not like the place. To me, I think the posada has had changes from how it was. There are no bikes there, just a faded pictogram of routes you might take and maybe something to scan at the desk. I asked to see around the posada due to photos of dinner and wine/bar- the desk girl showed me the breakfast area, because that is what's available. The dinner food pics you see are not on offer ( there is still a barbecue and bar area by the pool), but there is no offer of wine or drinks, or dinnner. Nespresso- yes, two machines but you pay extra for it at breakfast. When it was 10:08 am, the server removed everything, even the cold water, the coffee. No coffee, tea, cold water the rest of the day. We had eaten but another couple was just beginning, and the effect was, guests scrambling to get a glass or cup of what they wanted. The desk staff sits in the living area/ fireplace area in the evening and watches the TV (maybe it is their home) so that area does not feel very available. Finally, when we asked for possible wineries to go to, where you can tour and have lunch, I got two responses from the map at the desk. I said, so I can tour it? Have lunch there? verified this twice. One was closed and the other was a factory that I arrived at by uber.
- Nathan (10/5): Delightful - we would absolutely return to Posada Borravino in the future. - The entire complex was very charming. Well-maintained, and thoughtful details throughout. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the company of all the other guests who were staying here, too. The street was cute and quiet (a bit of a walk to get to the various food options in town). Not all of the staff spoke/understood English (which we get... we're in Argentina!). We were still able to get by comfortably enough.
- Bryant (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (7/5): Satisfactory lodging - Location, and breakfast are amazing Rooms too small, night clerk not very helpful
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place to stay with great staff, facilities and breakfast. Safe and quiet location, wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay here again!
- Joël (9/5): Superb -
- Pablo (8/5): Good location but needs to improve in certain aspects. If going back, probably trying a different place. - It’s a cozy estancia. Products provided (soap, specifically soap, and shampoo, conditioner, etc) were not of good quality. Also, we left behind a pair of airpods on the bed, and they couldn’t find them, kind of weird.
- Omar (9/5): Good if you rent a car - So cozy and quiet. Fair breakfast. Not walkable. RENT A CAR.
- Nicolas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pamela (9/5): This is an amazing place to stay, very tranquil with great service! - This is a lovely, small hotel. The staff is exceptional. Everyone from cleaning to meals to front desk was very helpful. We had breakfast included and there was a variety of items to choose from, such as cereal, breads, yogurt and fruit, as well as scrambled eggs made fresh for you. We also ate several dinners there. The selection is limited, pizza, empanadas, salads, however, the empanadas are exceptionally good and a couple of orders of those with a salad and wine make a very nice dinner.
The front desk can arrange tours for you and assist with taxis or Ubers. This hotel is located away from the city center but does have a small commercial area that is an easy walk with good restaurants, a grocery store and some shops. We did several wine tours, locations recommended by the staff as well as a tour from Mendoza Wine Tours (highly recommended!)
The grounds are lovely but smaller than I expected. Our room had a door that opened to the patio and pool area, and there was an amazing jasmine vine that perfumed the air. It was really more of a tree than a vine. It was lovely to sit outside for dinner and have a good glass of wine with the jasmine smell permeating the air.
The pool is small, quite narrow, but on a hot day, it would be lovely for a dip. We were not that fortunate.
Overall, this is a great place to stay. We felt safe at all times, the entry is gated but it's a residential area. The town area felt safe and walking was easy with mostly good sidewalks. You'll share them with bikes so do be aware! We would definitely stay here again.
Argentina has 2 exchange rates, the official and the "blue" dollar rate. The official exchange rate is 350 pesos/1 USD but the blue rate is 850-950/1 USD. You definitely want to take USD to Argentina. Your credit card will charge you the official rate but some of them, AMEX and VISA for sure, will refund you a better rate based on the blue dollar rate. The only negative, and we found this in several places in both Chile and Argentina, is the coffee is somewhat weak. We travel with VIA packets from Starbucks and that definitely helps. They do have espresso machines, but there is a charge for that coffee.
- Degraaf (8/5): Very homey, simple and super great staff! - The outdoor space was wonderful for lounging and reading. The pool was also refreshing for a cool dip in the middle of the hot day! The staff was very friendly and responsive.
- Carolina (8/5): Very good - People were very friendly Breakfast could be better… include more fruits and dairy free options
- Paula (9/5): Superb - Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. They don’t answer the messages (wpp or booking).
- Dionysia (9/5): Superb -
- Marijke (7/5): Good -
- Margarita (10/5): Worth every penny - Everything. The place was beautiful. The food could have been better.
- Aoife (10/5): Exceptional - Great location amongst the wineries. Staff great help! Nil
- Alicja (10/5): excellent location and wonderful staff - it is an amazing place to chill out. wonderful design and beautiful garden. it is very comfortable and well located so you can walk and discover a beauty of The Valley. I had a very uncomfortable situation and the owner and his staff behaved in a generous and helpful way. how they deal with daily situation is truly wonderful. definitely recommended!! not a single thing to mention
- Amy (8/5): Little oasis in Mendoza - Beautiful common areas, especially the court yard. Good breakfast. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Nicely furnished and comfortable beds. Rooms are a bit dated, particularly the bathroom. The property is guarded by a gate that you need one of the staff to open even when leaving the property. Easy to ring the bell when arriving, but would be helpful if there were a way guests could let themselves out when leaving the property.
- Barbara (9/5): Andres is a fabulous host - Andres is an excellent host - he provided excellent recommendations for food and suggestions for day trips. Gorgeous posada in a beautiful, secure setting.
- Carla (8/5): Very good -
- Deborah (8/5): Very good - Nice atmosphere Breakfast

The staff was super helpful and nice. they understood the challenge I had with my reservation which I had to cancel because of the changes made by the airline. finally, I could not have visited this place but I am pretty sure that I would love this place and people. i love this attitude that there is no problem and everything is easy to solve.
- Caromich (8/5): Very good - Really nice place, good rooms and breakfast, beautiful little pool.
Staff was very kind, but sometimes a bit too invisible.
