• Krum (9/5): Top location, which is great, because it is not a place to chill at 😊 - The location was excellent. The staff was nice and helpful. The building is old and so is everything in the suite, but it does have an atmosphere Like I said, it is pretty old. It was not really clean and not all of the lights were working. There is free parking in the street but it was impossible to find a spot. We ended up parking in the paid lot which was just across the street. The guy from Blue Eye Suites did bargain on our behalf and we paid 30€ for three days.
• Yeong (10/5): Good Value for Money, Good Location, Very Friendly Host - - the apartment is very spacious, it has a big kitchen (equipped with utensil), big couch, big toilet - the surrounding of the apartment is very peaceful and quiet - the host he is very friendly, he waited for us as we arrived at late night, also he tried to accommodate all of our needs and provide recommendation on food, place of attractions - 24/7 aircon, heating, hot water. - clean floor, clean sheet, towel provided Nothing I dislike about the property.

• Aaqib (10/5): It was really great and more than expected. - The owner Onur was really a great guy, respectful, courteous and friendly. He can also easily communicate in English. The value for money was really good. They gave us the basement apartment with all the facilities like hot water, wifi, kitchen etc. If I would travel again I will definitely go here again. The only thing which was not infact bad but it is their rule that you have to call the owner to take the keys.

• Mehdi (6/5): Good for price - The value for the price was good. It fullfill the minimum for a comfy stay. Also I'am very thankful from the host for his kind hospitality. The main door lock needs a repair. The TV control needs a change! It don't works at all although we do not have time to watch TV. In general the whole suite (we were at ground floor) needs renovation.
• Bronwyn (9/5): Superb - The host, Onur, was super friendly and helpful. He organised a private transfer to the airport at a very reasonable rate which was reassuring given that my flight was very early. I also liked the size of the suite and wished that I'd had more time to spend in Istanbul so that I could have taken full advantage of it being a self-contained unit. I also liked the location, close enough for me to walk to the Blue Mosque area (about 15-20 minutes up the hill) but far enough away that it wasn't crowded with lots of tourists. There were also some nice places to eat within five minutes walk of Blue Eye Suites. The phone number in the information on this site is not correct - however the correct phone numbers to contact the hosts when you arrive are on the door so it wasn't much of an inconvenience. Also I couldn't get the TV to turn on which the host said was because other guests change settings etc. This also wasn't that big of a deal as I really only wanted to watch it when I'm ready to settle down for the evening before going to bed.

This is a good variant if you want to save money for visiting Istanbul, but come on guys clean the apartment. The kitchen is completely in fat, the shower cabin is so dirty that it is totally unpleasant to step inside. Brocken toilet lid. I was not waiting for a modern repair for such a price, but cleanliness must be!
• Tomasz (7/5): Great localisation for those who come to visit historical places. - Localisation was excellent (10 minutes to hagia Sophia), and rooms were big compared to other places in the area. It looked as if it had been refurbished lately. There are plenty of restaurants around that serve traditional food until the very late hours. Lack of everyday use items such as: cups, plates, toilet paper, etc. TV wasn't working or we didn't know how to turn it on, but we didn't have time to watch it anyway (whole days sightseeing). It needs basic cleaning between visitors. Phone number from booking.com doesn't match the owner actual tel number. Needed to send an email but received call back within minutes (+)
• Shafaet (3/5): Beware of the basement room - Walktable distance from touristy area. There is a park in-front and the road doesn't feel as naerow as some other area here. Had to wait for more than half an hour after midnight to get in the apartment. The basement apartment smelled like paint and mold, it's quite suffocating. I messaged the owner to request for a change of room but didn't get any response! No one bothered to check or ask if everything is ok, looks like the owner doesn't care at all.

• Cristina (3/5): Be careful when you book this place - We liked the fact that the apartment was cool as it was situated at the basement. However it was damp and quite noisy at night. The check in was OK since someone waited for us to hand in the keys. We did not have wifi. The apartment was not clean and it was not ready to welcome guests. Even if our group included 3 adults and 2 children (one of which was a baby) it only had the bedroom prepared with bed sheets and toiletries. The livingroom (with the sofa) was not ready to accommodate people, we asked for towels but did not get an answer from the host. The appliances were not working (TV and airconditioning) and the furniture was old and in a really bad shape. We would have liked at least the courtesy of communicating with the host during our stay.
• Connor (10/5): Great value for money and the host was really helpful - We chose this apartment because of the kitchen and were pleasantly surprised with the whole place. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals and were still within a 10 minute walking distance to all the major sites (or train/metro). For being in Sultanahmet, the price is unbeatable. The host Nuridin was extremely accommodating by recommending local places to eat and where to go. He was super easy to get in touch with and provided us with things we forgot for our trip. He was even able to offer us a good deal on a local sauna and Hammam, which we didn’t expect! Great place to stay!
• Ahmer (10/5): Blue Eyes Suites - First of all, I have to praise Nur Deen, the caretaker/Manager there, who did not let us feel that we are not in our own country or our home, but he did everything in a very good manner, his attitude were very professional and It was different from the other usual hotels or apartments, and I would recommend staying at Blue Eyes Suites if you ever visit Istanbul. Everything was so good Blue eyes suits, and I have no reason to dislike anything 😊
• Lakshmi (8/5): Very good - Nurudin is all time available for you for any help. It is better to arrange hotel drop through hotel itself. Blue mosque is 600 meter away, but it is very steep and we have to walk uphill. There are restaurants and shops nearby. This is best suited for those who want to cook themselves. The inflation in Turkey is very high and it is better to cook at least breakfast. Hotel has kept enough set of cooking utensils.
• Marcell (8/5): Very good - We spent it 6 nights in the basement apartment, we liked it, the price-value ratio is excellent, quiet, clean, well equipped, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher, central heating, air conditioning, TV, The bed was comfortable, the kitchen furniture was a bit old but suited us, it was within walking distance to attractions. We will happy to choose it next time.
• Stefania (6/5): Pleasant - It is very cheap, the Check in and check out procedure is easy, the location is ok (even though not as good as we thought). The main Problem is that it is very old and badly kept. the shower head fell on my head while I was using it, the mirror was broken, there were electric cables hanging.

• Hamed (4/5): If the Internet and the TV were working properly, we would have been satisfied costumers. - The location was almost perfect. We reached almost every place on foot. This way we could enjoy our walks in the city AND reach the attraction sites. That was the most valubale thing about this apartment. It also has a nice view and is located near a beautiful park. The staff were very friendly and did their best to meet our needs. I like to thank Nuridin and Olnür for their efforts. We liked the kitchen and the dining table and the heating system. Sadly the information on the booking.com website about the Facilities of Blue Eye Suites was NOT correct, and that was very disappointing. we didn't have a working Flat-screen TV. Satellite channels, CD player, Radio. Neither did we had ANY Soundproofing, the whole place is made from wood and we had loud neighbours moving furniture at 1 AM or 5 AM, also the people and cars outside were very loud. There were no Safety deposit box and for stuff like hairdryer, slippers, cleaning products we had to extra ask, because they weren't already available. there was also no minibar. and above all the internet was terrible, always disconnecting, not working. we had to ask them continuously to do something about it. some days we didn't have internet at all, so we couldnt even plan our next move. the light bulb socket in the bathroom was damaged so the light went out and we had to wait almost two days for it to be fixed. also the shower hose was torn, so it had to be fixed too. we first had to find out the problem and ask for a repair, which also took a few days.
• Stefan (10/5): Exceptional - Location very close to the sights, supermarkets, bus stop. Suitable for families. From the bedroom you can see the sea. Very warm apartment and very quiet. Nuridin it has helped us in all the problems. Parking near the location but very expensive.

• Nauman (9/5): Thanks for the wonderful stay. - Location is ideal. Every attraction is within walking distance. Great for family as a kids park is just in front of the hotel. Grand bazar, spice bazar, hagia sofia, blue mosque all are within 7 to 10min walk. Receptionist noorudin was also very kind and helpful and available round the clock. We had problem with internet but may be it was temporarily down. Would be great if internet runs well.
• Blinkingtramp (9/5): Superb - If your first priorities are money-value, location and helpful staff - that's your choice. Nuridin is the most pleasant and kind host you can find. He'll help you whatever you ask. There's lots of space and very powerful heating, which is not so usual in Istanbul. Isn't absolutely clean, but definitely quite fine.

• Waheed (8/5): Apartments are reasonably maintained, good for small families and good for those who runs little on budget yet wants to - Property location is really good for the people who likes to explore around on foot. Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Arasta Bazar, Grand Bazar are 10-20 minutes away from the property. There’s couple of parks very close by, which I believe are really good for those families who have small kids. Although, the property is well maintained, but the owners really needs to upgrade washroom fixtures, toilet fittings, light fixtures, washroom ventilation, TV connection etc. The top floor is a wooden floor apartment, the floor makes loud thumping sound while walking on it.

Apartment is spacious, kitchenette is useful, apartment is clean and tidy for what it is. quiet area at night. thank you for having us. couldn’t really fault it. bedroom was a bit of a tight squeeze apart but that’s about it.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - Would never recommend to anyone, property needs lot of upgrades, utensils were dirty & sticky, hot water was not coming room was not ready at checkin time, very disappointing.
• Eda (10/5): Harika bir ev ortamı - Otel rahatsızlığından sıyrılmış ev konforu sunan bir yer. Oda oda ayrılması kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettirdi. Mutfak aletleri ve bulaşık makinesi çok işimizi gördü. Şirin ve temiz bir ev. Çok sevdik, tekrar tercih edeceğim.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Lurad och besviken kund - Detta hotell är en bluff som inte finns. Blev flyttad till ett annat hotell brevid utan någon förvarning. Fick reda på detta av en tillfällighet utanför det stängda hotellet, efter att ha stått utanför det i ca 4h. Detta är inte ett 4-stjärnigt hotell, snarare ett 2-stjärnigt. Rummen är mycket slitna, lyhörda och smutsiga. Hotellet ligger nära sevärdheter , men det ligger i ett slumområde. Frukostbuffen är allt annat än imponerande, med ett par brödbitar och lite smör. Låt dig inte luras av detta billiga pris, HOTELLET ÄR INGET KAP, välj hellre ett annat hotell, annars får du vara beredd på en RIKTIG LÅGBUDGETUPPLEVELSE och din semester kommer att bli förstörd. Fick byta rum flera gånger under min vistelse på hotellet. Hotellet har dessutom felaktigt uppget till hotels.com att jag och min sambo avbokat på plats, vilket lett till att vi inte har fått några bonuspoäng - detta har inte rättats av hotellet trotts flera påstötningar på hotels.com.
• Hamza (6/5): mauvaise surprise - J'ai passé 9 nuits dans cet hôtel j'ai réserver un transfert depuis l'aéroport à l'hôtel il mon envoyer la navette mais à mon arriver à l'hôtel j'ai trouver la porte fermée il été 3 heure du matin mon fils de 3 ans été endormi j'ai sonné 100 fois,frappé à la porte, personne n'a ouvert la porte en faite cet hôtel n'a pas de réception mais ce qui m'a surpris c'était à qu'ils m'ont envoyer la navette ce qui signifie qu'ils savais l'heure de mon arrivée mais en fin de compte j'ai trouvé personne j'ai attendu jusqu'à 5 heure du matin pour qu'un voisin intervient et va me chercher celui qui s'occupe de cet hôtel. Quel galère. Et à la fin de mon séjour j'avais mon vol prévu pour le soir j'ai voulu laisser mes bagages chez eux pour profiter de cette dernière journée mais il n'ont pas voulu. Quel déception
• NK (4/5): NOT a hotel but a run down apartment building - The location was good - 15 minutes from the blue mosque. Listings and reviews on hotels.com and trip advisor were misleading as some made it out to be a hotel, which is what we were expecting. We booked an air conditioned double room. Instead we were given a 'deluxe suite' which consisted of an open plan kitchen/living room, a bathroom and a double bedroom. Only the living room (which we only used for breakfast) was air conditioned and the weather was very hot in the middle of August. We complained and asked for an air conditioned room (which we had booked) but there were none available. They gave us an old fan instead which was not very effective. A traditional Turkish breakfast plate was delivered to the room each morning but was fairly limited. The bathroom was unventilated and smelly, with a shower full of mould. They also charged us extra for the same airport bus than other local agents were charging but were unable to explain why. Would not stay again.

• shawn (4/5): needs updating... - the carpet was dirty, their was mold in the shower and you can smell the sewage in the bathroom. The room needs updating, the television didn't work. Even though the room was large, the neighborhood wasn't the greatest and the room was so depressing, we switched hotel after first night. Definately not a four star more like a 1 or 2

• Harry (10/5): Good clean home-like hotel that worth the money - We had a suite room for four people. The room is large, clean and nice. The slight problem is the bed size is a bit small than anticipated as it was mentioned to be "king size" but turned out to be double size. The sofa bed (for the third person) and the another sofa (for the fourth person) in the lounge were decent sizes. The staffs were very friendly and helpful and the hotel really feels like home.
• Ghazaleh (6/5): It was okay - Breakfast: really good Front desk staff: spoke English and were nice Location: far from Sultanahmet metro (20 min walk) but it was a decent location. Slightly sketchy. Cleanliness: pretty clean actually. Building: very old.
• Dan (4/5): En säng istället för tre som utlovat - Vi var tre kompisar som åkte och bokade ett rum med en kingsize-säng och två enkelsängar, alltså tre separata sängar. När vi kom dit fanns endast en queensize-säng och en bäddsoffa. När vi påtalade detta så sa de att det är hotels.com som skriver beskrivningarna på sin sida och att de inte ens har ett rum med tre separata sängar i. Dessutom var standarden på rummet inte vad vi hade förväntat oss. Efter mycket strul och dyra samtal hem till Sverige och hotels.com löste receptionisten det så att vi fick byta till ett annat hotell som mötte våra förväntningar, och att det skulle ske på Blue Eye suites bekostnad. Så hotellet och rummet som sådant ger jag inte mycket för, men ansträngningen från receptionisten får bättre betyg.
• Jacob (6/5): Godt hotel til prisen. - Boede på Blue Eyes i tre nætter - og var positiv overrasket over hotellets standard i forhold til prisen. Rimelig morgenmad og meget hjælpsomt personale. Slidt men rent.
