- Brittney (2/5): - I usually stay here when I come to Abu Dhabi because I love Swiss Butter and the guy selling the fragrances is awesome. However, this was my last time patronizing this establishment. Check in is slow. They have no urgency. When you call the front desk, it just rings. It takes you approximately five times trying. I had to call housekeeping to get in touch with a manager. They promosed someone would call me back in 5 minutes and they didn't. While trying to sleep, after my 2.5 hour drive, they were doing construction in the room beside me. Apparently, they didn't communicate with the font desk. I called several times and kept the phone ringing & when no one returned my call to address my concern, i walked to the front desk. By the time I got to the front desk, someone answered. They refused to transfer the call to a manager, promising someone would call back. I told her that I wasn't playing that game again and I was at the front desk. Suddenly, she was "apologetic". However, what made me angry is that NO CUSTOMERS were at the front desk, so they could've answered the phone. It shouldn't take me getting MAD, INCONVENIENED, and confronting the situation at the desk to get my concerns handled. Customer service sure has declined. If you can't handle customer service, find ANOTHER position. Between the carpet bug from one visit that I forgave and LACKLUSTER, NONCHALANT approach, you've lost a customer.

- Reza (4/5): - I recently stayed at Novotel Abu Dhabi and was quite disappointed. The check-in experience was poor; the staff member struggled with English and gave incorrect information about the restaurant hours. The room was not as advertised, with a sofa bed that was much smaller than expected. The room was clean but felt dated, and there were several issues such as a broken bathroom door knob, an almost empty shower gel dispenser, and insufficient towels for our family. Despite requesting additional towels and for the sofa bed to be prepared, housekeeping failed to deliver. It was only after multiple calls and a late-night request that they finally assisted. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and too small for two children. Additionally, the room lacked proper bedding and blankets, which made for an uncomfortable night. The dinner buffet was overpriced for the quality offered, and the staff's attitude was not welcoming. Breakfast was better, but overall, the stay was disappointing. I expected more from Novotel and will not be returning.

- Robert (4/5): - Modern hotel but our room had only been prepared for one person and not for the four guests as booked and was not cleaned and serviced properly. Previous guest's rubbish had been left behind suitcase stand which looked grubby, so we were moved to a different room where curtain was off rail so could not be fully closed, and shower pressure poor.when we checked out we were then told our payment on arrival had not included local fees which were outstanding. Not what we were expecting of a four star hotel at the price point we paid. Disappointing overall experience relative to our previous stay at the Radisson Blu in Abu Dhabi
- Tural (8/5): Good place for staying with family - Overall good hotel with nice breakfast and good quality of service. Location suitable if you are planning to drive or use taxi and not so good for walking due to distance to walking and touristic places. We faced with few issues like hotel room wasn't ready by check in time, but receptionist offered to wait and enjoy coffee provided by them, safe box didn't work, so technical team came and fixed it shortly after requesting it and this kind of stuff.

- Graham (8/5): Standards dropped through refurbishment. - Unfortunately, due to refurbishment, pool facilities were not available but we could use Tower 2's (where my son lived) facilities. However, although the restaurant was being refurbished, the food offered for breakfast was cold, even though served in bain- maries. The meal served on Friday evening was well below the standard excepted with starters and mains arriving at the same time. My son is still sorting the cost. On a positive note the front of house staff were friendly and helpful, nothing being too much trouble. We will go again, but really hope that, after refurbishment, things will have improved.

Thankfully we were given another room which smelled better but the window outside was so dirty you could barely see ouside. Furnitue needs to be replaced. Looks worn-out. Service is terrible even though staff is friendly. Ibhad to ask 5 times for more towels as each room had only 1 large towel and there were 7 of us. Only after a few hours we were given additional 2 towels (and there were 7 of us). Breakfast was very nice and rich. Lots of things to choose from. Very tasty.

Valet parking worked great. First room we received was on low floor on main road. Noisy and air conditioner did not work. When went to reception suddenly they had another room available on higher floor facing the back. That room had a toilet that did not flush so had to use the hose. Both rooms had only one large towel so had to call for another. The rooms are a good size. Bed comfortable.
- Firoz (8/5): Decent hotel for families - We stayed a 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids) in two superior rooms. The hotel was clean, nice rooms, spacious lobby and good buffet breakfast. Check in was slow and had to wait 45 mins for the rooms

- Syed (10/5): - Like: Front desk staff especially Ms. Sofia and Mr. Jamal provided me with excellent service. Did not like: The floor in the corridor of the room I stayed had discolored patches may be due to bleach treatment.
- Catherine (10/5): - We enjoyed a lovely stay! The morning coffee in the Mellow Cafe was a daily ritual and Marco took care of us with a smile. The fun was clean and well equipped and the whirlpool on the ladies change room was Heaven. The pool was lovely and young families enjoyed! We enjoyed pool side lunches at Waves-yum. The cleaning staff were very thorough. All in all, a lovely stay

Lilian is very nice and helped me extended my late checkout. Very good hotel to stay, definitely will stay in future

- Mohsen (8/5): - The room was spacious enough and comfortable. Very clean. Staff were friendly and willing to help. If I wanted to ask the management for one improvement, it would be way-finding for the parking area. More signs will need to be provided as I saw people looking around for the hotel entrance in the parking. There is a residential building connected to the parking which makes things a little confusing.
- Shaheen (6/5): - The facilities, the staff, and the amenities were nice. My only major concerns were about the room itself. Due to room availability, I was given a smoking room despite being a non-smoker. The smell was manageable but definitely stuck to my clothing but the room has many burn spots likely from cigarette butts which affected the overall appearance of the room. The other issue is the constant light sound coming from the ceiling of the bathroom that was only bothersome when using the bathroom. Speaking of which, on my 3rd day I woke up to no running water in the bathroom and was rectified around an hour or so after informing the reception. Those were my only concerns.

- SABIN (6/5): Double check with room availability before booking - I Booked for a non smoking suite & surprisingly it wasn't available. The on duty manager offered me to stay in an apartment (Adjacent building but internally connected), but that was too dark and no view from the window. At the end I compromised my booking with an executive room instead of the suit, as I wasn't have any option and my family was waiting in the lobby to check in. Due to this incident, check in was not smooth and it took more than an hour to get into the room. Room was clean but there was a problem with water clogging in the wash room which was later resolved. Room service and house keeping service was slower than usual, Variety of food was available during buffet. Me and my family were disappointed as they didn't provided us the suit, though the booking was made and confirmed quite in advance.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bad parking place - The stay was good, no available parking if you come little bit late at 9 pm or 10 pm because they are using it for ONYX nightclub guests on daily basis, i did not recommend the hotel because of the parking. one guy from the reception was not friendly, Jamal was perfect and very helpful.
