Loud aircon (separate from the one controllable in the room) that switched off/on without being able to control. Small room. but OK for 1.

It was small so the aircon was direct at the bed that wind blew straight into my body. The price is quite high due to the series of events at SunTec so it was not a "budget" for such facilities.

• aikhengc (6/5): Basic stay with a very convenient location - I stayed at ibis budget Bugis Singapore and, as expected from a 2-star hotel, this is a very basic property. The strongest point of this hotel is definitely the location. It is in a strategic area, quite near Bugis MRT, which makes getting around Singapore very convenient. The other positive point is the staff — they were kind, helpful, and pleasant throughout the stay. That said, the room is very small, which is understandable for this category, but there is really not much else to highlight beyond the basics. Another point to note is that although this hotel is under the Accor group, it does not offer the usual Accor membership rewards and benefits that I normally enjoy. To be honest, when I compare it with Mercure Bugis, the price difference for my stay was only about SGD 70 more for 3 nights. For that small difference, I would personally choose Mercure Bugis instead, as it offers much better value through membership benefits such as breakfast, privilege lounge access, room upgrade, early check-in, late check-out, and free parking. Overall, I would give this hotel 3 stars mainly because of the helpful staff and the strategic location. It is fine for a simple budget stay, but I would likely choose a higher-tier Accor property next time.

• Alejandro (9/5): Amazing - The hotel is in a fantastic location—very convenient for getting around, with easy access to both bus stops and train stations nearby. There are also two 7-11 stores within close walking distance, along with plenty of restaurants to choose from, which makes everything incredibly accessible. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, adding to the overall positive experience. The rooms are quite small, which might feel a bit tight, especially for longer stays. However, given the prime location and convenience, it’s still a great option for travelers.

Location is easy to be found: + For airport travellers: Take metro (green line, Tuas Link direction), get off at Bugis station, hotel is 10 minutes walking distance. + For bus travellers (If you come from Malaysia): Get off at Golden Mile Towers, hotel is 20 minutes walking distance. Check in is easy and quick, elevators are available. Check in staff is great! Rooms are quite small that is the worst point of this hotel. Rooms are different, we selected room with window, which make room useful. (Window cannot be opened) Rooms have kettle, tea&coffee setups, good but little bit noisy working AC and hairdryer; but no refrigarator/minibar. Double bed is comfortable. Cleanliness of room is very well. Only issue might be very small insects, which seem to be either ants or flying one. I do not know where they come from, although window is closed all time. It is recommended that close your luggages after take items. Bathroom is also quite small, no shower cabinet. Soap dispenser is not available, while shampoo is. Sink is somewhat blocked, water is drained slowly. Good point of bathroom is ventilation. Main Singapore attractions, such as malls, Marina Bay Sands etc. are 20 minutes walking distance. 7/11 market for snacks/drinks is next to the hotel. For comprehensive needs, go to supermarket located at Raffles City mall. (B1 floor) As for price: Singapore is not cheap city for accomodation. This hotel reflects this trend as well; however, it is acceptable to pay around USD 100 per night for 2 people considering other options in this region. All in all, it is good experience to stay at Ibis Budget Bugis. Recommended for those who look hotel in the good&safe location.

Walkable distance to the Marina Bay area and a few minutes walk from subway, and a convenience store next door. The room and bathroom was tiny. You basically had to shower over the toilet. It took a while to adjust to having no windows, with no natural light. However, this was all we were able to find in our budget range.

This location is walking distance to Bugis street & Bugis Mall, Arab street, Haij Lane. Nearby restaurants that run till late. 2 train rides away from Merlin Park & Marina Bay Bus stop right in front of hotel. Only thing that lacked was having no laundromat, however there is one at a hotel nearby but the machines are located at a parking lot which was super weird 🤣

Perfect to location to go to so good restaurants in the neighborhood and to travel by metro, The Internet speed. t was so slow and you could not do a basic things. Sometimes, if you are lucky can get a few hours working w/o issues. I have compared the speed with nearby coffee and in the there was much better. The worse is that you can't relay on your mobile Internet because in the room the signal is very weak.
