• Liza (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable - The water activities on site and the tranquility of the hotel ambience. The breakfast served on 30/F is no longer a full buffet.
• thesagechronicle (8/5): Very good- the breakfast was a bit disappointing - Extremely tranquil 2 nights. The scent in the hallways, the room service, the customer services, and the water park resort was top tier. But if you’re looking for a full buffet breakfast, this might not be for you. When we got to saffron, we had to wait for quite a long time and they did not handle it well. Then we found out that they only had a half buffet ( bread, yogurt, drinks, and fruit ONLY) , and the other half- you would order from a menu ( eggs, ham, bacon and hot dishes). We did not know of this, and since we like full buffets we cancelled the payment. The staff should’ve told us on the phone it was a semi buffet. Other than that, the service and environment was top tier. Easy access to the mall, eateries and entertainment. The shows at MG are also very nice- not a walkable distance, but it’s easy to catch a taxi near here.

While the initial burst of energy and cultural immersion was exhilarating, it was the gradual unfolding of tranquillity that made our stay truly unforgettable. Our suite featured an elegantly extended wading pool overlooking the canal, which our baby loved to play in, creating a peaceful retreat that felt worlds away from the bustling casinos. The deep wooden bathtub added a luxurious touch, providing a sense of serene abandonment during use. We were delighted by the thoughtful extras provided for our 10-month-old, including a tent, crib, teddy bear, and numerous other little touches. Extra kudos to the hotel for their luxurious toiletries—some of which we couldn't resist taking back with us. The butlers, all of whom were fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and very well trained, ensured that everything went smoothly. The hotel’s thoughtful design and meticulous attention to detail in every corner ensured that each moment felt like a soothing escape. The expansive spa offered a state of deep relaxation, allowing us to fully unwind and savour the peaceful surroundings. The dining options were excellent, and I managed to get my laps in at their indoor pool. The gym had a good array of machines, and although I typically prefer free weights, the relaxation-focused nature of our holiday made me appreciate the options available. Overall, the Banyan Tree Macau provided the perfect sanctuary to recharge and embrace the serene moments that we all cherished.

Exceptional service from our room staff, Andrew, Sydney, Mel and Erick + front desk manager Miguel. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable with our two kids. The children’s tent and toys was a great surprise and the quality of the room and bed was superb. We only wish the outdoor pool was open during our stay but was told it was under renovation. Will definitely recommend Banyan tree to our friends and family and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Kids were so happy having fun in the wooden bathtub and they love the kids amenities so much, especially soft toys. Love the toiletries given, even with detergent for clothes. This is something that i usually couldn't get from hotels. Strongly recommended for family with kids. Worth every penny.

• Phoebe (10/5): Very relaxing - Rooms and pool was beautiful, staff were very sincere The resort location was join together with another 7 resorts… this causes problems upon guess in using the facility there. I guess it was also the fact that it’s a casino, so no one really wakes up early for breakfast so they couldn’t make it a breakfast buffet, we have to order what we want, very inconvenient. However the staff know their hotel - point, so they’re very quickly in trying to fixed the issue.

• Miss_K_fly (10/5): Unforgettable Birthday Staycation - Booked a Cotai Pool Suite King to surprise my mum for her birthday and ended up not only she is surprised but I am surprised also. I only asked the hotel staff to arrange her a birthday cake but never thought that they surprised my mum with beautiful birthday decorations. Apart from it, their front desk staff Serena was nice enough to show us the room and different features of the room as well as taking a photo of us and print it out for us. Moreover, they ever welcomed us back after we finished our dinner. I also found out that the housekeeping team made my mum a towel birthday cake. In conclusion, every single staff we met at the hotel was very nice and friendly. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. However, I thought that the breakfast at Saffron should be improved in terms of taste and variety. I still highly recommend this hotel and we will come back more often though.

In room dining, awesome facilities and they went above and beyond. I'm hard to impress - but on this occasion I was very impressed. Staff were attentive and it was what it should be for the steep price. Only problem was a lack of a hotel bar - but we had a massive room with room service, so it wasn't an issue. The relaxation tub was awesome too.

The room was beyond expectations and it was extremely relaxing to just be there, either indoors or outdoors. The staff were welcoming and professional. The areas were very well kept and gorgeous for a nice promenade. Everything was just splendid. But we did also pay quite the sum for just 2 days of luxurious experience.

Special mention and thanks to the housekeeping team, Robert, Mila and Fred, duty managers, front concierge, Damon for their top notch service. They have gone beyond and above in taking care of my family,especially when my girl was unwell. Kudos to the mentioned staff! From arranging (duty managers), bringing and accompanying us to the hospital (Damon) to making sure she is comfortable and happy (Robert, Mila and Fred), they have shown their commitment and service to us. My family and me have stayed at banyan tree Macau for a few times, but this was our best stay so far.. A truly awesome team of service staff! We are truly and deeply grateful forever.

• Adventure46783579447 (10/5): relaxing anniversary weekend - Just spent a weekend at the Banyan Tree to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We honeymooned in Macau and have returned each year to celebrate and have stayed in many hotels in Macau. The Banyan tree is by far the best hotel in Macau. The check-in staff were so friendly and even walked us to the lift introducing the hotel as we walked. A couple of staff members happened to be in the corridor near our room and insisted on taking our bags and opening the room door for us which was a nice touch. The room was spotless and the aroma from the eucalyptus oil filled the room. The relaxation pool was a hit too. We also appreciated the two kissing swans and the rose petals on the bed! We were so surprised to also receive a wonderful anniversary cake and bottle of wine to start off our weekend, thank you so much. Finally the Sunday morning breakfast was delight, the view from the restaurant and the delicious food really made for a relaxing Sunday morning, I haven't had Bucks fizz for a long time! So thank you to all the staff at Banyan Tree, the front desk, housekeeping and the staff taking care of us so nicely at breakfast time too. We will be back, hopefully soon.

The birthday cake amenity I requested was frozen when it sent to my room which I think it could be better.

The food was also good and they gave a very quick service. One waiter did forget to bring my drink but made up for it by providing one complimentary on the house!

• jasmin0408 (6/5): One Night Stay At Banyan! - We moved to Banyan Tree Hotel from Galaxy hotel (assisted by great staffs, Stephen and Vince). When we reached Banyan tree, Ryan, the Concierge staff immediately assisted us and guide us to the front desk for check in. Check in process is not that easy since the front desk staff is not that approachable. However, Ryan also wait for us to finish the whole process and helped us bring our luggages inside our room. He also introduce to us the amenities/facilities.. Banyan Tree provided us “Birthday Set Up” which made the room more colorful. Sydney from housekeeping department also gave us extra fruits and made sure that our room is clean always.. Concierge team, Housekeeping and even the I.T’s are all nice. Thank you Banyan Tree 👍👍

The staff here are super professional and friendly, especially Leo and Robert who did a wonderful job with our room. They were so thoughtful, and their smiles brightened my day! They did everything they could to help ensure that my wife and I had a wonderful stay at Banyan Tree. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and consider staying here again in the future.

Staff were very appologetic & we were moved to a different room the next day which was quiet. Room is huge & incredible. Bed was super comfortable & the warm pool was very relaxing. Large beautiful bathroom with great amenities replaced twice daily. Excellent double shower,smart toilet & cedar tub. Belon was excellent for breakfast & dinner. The only issue was the egg station- some days the eggs were pre-made so not very good. Indoor pool & outdoor pool for Banyan Tree guests only were both great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Secondly, if you are using the gym, it has very few resistance training equipment and the gym’s air conditioning is quiet bad. Other than these minor setbacks, it is still a great hotel. Considering what they provide. A solid 4.8/5

• AnnaC (10/5): Great stay - I had my birthday celebration in Banyan Tree. The staff was very helpful and the birthday cake was great. The pillow was too soft for us. If the hotel could provide better pillow our stay would be much better.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Best place to relax - I really enjoyed my stay in Banyan tree Macau. I stayed in the cotai pool suite room which is very clean and spacious, and equipped with an indoor pool and a wooden bathtub. There is also complementary frangrant oil in room which made me felt so relaxed. Room and Hotel facilities are awesome. Staffs are nice and helpful. Buffet breakfast is not particularly outstanding but still very nice. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Hope to stay again for my next Macau trip.

• Verified traveler (8/5): I expected more - The room has an amazing layout and looks great on first impression. The indoor and outdoor pools are also spectacular. However, the pool in the room makes the room quite humid and if the air-conditioning is not on high enough there is a definite smell of mold in the air. The room was not thoroughly clean as you would expect of a high-standard hotel. The air-conditioner and pool make constant noise as the pool water is filtered. The staff were generally friendly and helpful but some staff could use more friendliness training. The bathroom was great with an excellent double shower. The bed was comfortable.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Check in - Been here many times, one problem is late check in - suppose to be able to check in at 3pm but it delayed to 5pm. The manager gave us a free afternoon tea and upgrade to comfort us. We really appreciate that, but the same happened a few times before. Great service but maybe the hotel should consider hire more cleaning staff to clean up the rooms so the guests are able to check in on time.

• kate (4/5): Nice hotel, nice room but won't return - I booked Cotai suite for my 4 day birthday celebration trip with my family. I had booked Galaxy hotel suite but based on my friend's recommendation, I changed the booking with high expectation. I am a frequent traveller and have stayed in many hotels around the world but... I would not go bacm there. As my friend recommended, the hotel was nice. Good: 1. Nice room with good space 2. Good hotel facilities as expected at hotels like Banyan Tree 3. Nice indoor and outdoor swimming facilities Not so good: 1. Due to the Jacuzzi, the room was damp and the bedding was damp (the cleaning service was ok). Whatever the reason, sleeping in a damp bed is not exactly pleasant. First night was really bad, Second and third slightly better. 2. The air conditioning did not work well enough to dry up the room. This left mouldy smell around the room 3. I couldn't take it and wanted to open the door to the balcony for ventilation. The handle was removed although there was a warning about how you should be careful when opening the door. Had to call the housekeeping to open it and out of 4 doors, the technician came and only opened 1 of them..... 4. Not too bothered about it but maybe other hotels have spoiled me with their extra service... I arrived 1 day before my birthday, which I have disclosed at check-in. No further comment/action? Not so relaxing... although some essential oil/aroma after a swim got me relaxed a bit.....

• Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful rooms with very pleasant staff - Great hotel with beautiful room. The pool inside the room is particularly special. The indoor pool also really nice with great views. Unfortunately the main outdoor pool was closed during our visit for cleaning. The only problem was that there was no information at the ferry terminal on which bus to take (turns out you need to take the Galaxy bus to the Galaxy and get off there). We went for an anniversary celebration so the hotel was kind enough to give us a cake and bottle of wine which were great. We had in room dining - while the cold cuts were not great, the rest of the food was nice. Breakfast was very nice indeed - good quality and variety with very good service. Would go back on a future visit to Macau.
• Cindy (10/5): Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous - I loved this hotel. Once I saw the hotel from outside I knew I would love the hotel. The lobby was very pretty and spacious. The room we were upgraded to due to a mistake on their end was amazing. It was doubled our original room size and the view was amazing. The toilet was heated with many different options to flushing and lid opening and closing. The shower had two shower heads with different pressure (which I loved) and the bath tub was literally the look of an olden day chinese bath tub. It was awesome. My husband surprised me with a rose petal milk bath with champagne and it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and respectful. Also, our rooms had complimentary breakfast so we got their congee breakfast set and it was literally the best congee we ate in china. Also, the old macau village is only 5 min car ride away behind venetian hotel which is connected to the banyan also, but its a 15 to 20 min walk from the hotel through the shopping mall. (lots of yummy street food and tourist shopping) BUT OVERALL Awesome hotel.

• Irenka (10/5): Beautiful Birthday Stay - This was by far the best birthday I've had. The staff at the hotel is very professional and friendly, rooms are spacious and clean. I had an amazing time. The best breakfast ever and the restaurant serves the best curry!!!
• jinny (8/5): Problem at the pool area - Didnt like that they only allowed in 4 people in the pool area when i had three kids all under 8, my hub and I and my helper with me. Then they said 5ppl max. Although i told them I couldnt go into the water and my helper had to look after my three year old, they insisted my husband Go back up to the hotel. Although later on, they called back my husband when they realized my 6&8 year old were alone in the water... wasted my time trying to convince them for almost half an hour. Never had a problem when staying at the Galaxy, Okura, and JW Marriott.
• Florence (8/5): Clean and Spacious Hotel - Well if the 2 beds option had slightly bigger beds it would be better. I have stayed at the neighboring hotel and they had larger beds USB or HDMI inputs were hidden and couldn't view my own show. Overall the room itself was spacious and we had an excellent view of the Grand Resort Deck. The staff was very nice and polite. However slightly disappointed that the Galaxy Group cancelled the shuttle service to "other hotels"

• JENNIFER K T (2/5): Pool inside room is flooding my room - Very disspointing, the pool in the room is flooding, it showed that the infrustrure of China is really bad. This vocation is to celebrate my birthday but it ruined my birthday mood. The manager kept saying sorry and upgraded my room at the end but i decided Not to come to this hotel again again more!!
