• Al (5/5): Nice Location. - The location is excellent, less than a 5-minute walk from the Blue Mosque. The staff were very friendly, although they spoke only Turkish, so we needed internet access to communicate with them using a translation app. The room was small, yet suitable for the season—warm and cosy—though it lacked a refrigerator. There was no refrigerator in the room. The breakfast could have been better, and the shower drainage did not work properly. We had to use large towels to prevent the water from flowing into the room. The kitchen needed improvement.

On a passé le séjour la fenêtre ouverte et le chauffage éteint. Pas de place pour ouvrir une valise! Le ménage à revoir, pas d’alèse sur la literie, les serviettes sont insuffisantes et déchirées voir usagées parfois, le petit déjeuner est très sommaire juste des crudités, olives et œufs durs très déçu, l’escalier exiguë sans ascenseur, l’isolation inexistante ou l’on entend les gens de tout l’hôtel, les équipements de la chambre vétustes ou ne fonctionnant pas voir dangereux comme les fils dénudés du sèche cheveux qui ne fonctionne pas .La gérante qui met son téléphone à fond lors des petits déjeuners … Je ne comprends pas la note donnée car clairement passez votre chemin y a mieux pour le même prix.

• Nathalie (3/5): Hôtel à éviter - La localisation Difficile d avoir des attentes avec un prix aussi attractif mais j ai été logée dans une petite chambre attenante à l accueil donc bcp de passages à toute heure, très bruyant, j'ai demandé une autre chambre cela m a été refusée. De plus, j avais validé sur internet le transfert aéroport/hôtel, le chauffeur n est jamais venu, je l ai signalé au gérant de l hôtel (avec traduction turque) mais il n'a pas réagit... hôtel à fuir..
• Gwendoline (2/5): Le proprio est sympa mais je ne recommande pas du tout cet hôtel vétuste - L’homme a l’accueil Grosse déception par rapport aux avis lus. A l’arrivée, l’accueil a une toute petite entrée, pas d’ascenseur, escalier raide et étroit. Nous arrivons dans la chambre au 3e, nous découvrons l’odeur de moisie en priorité : gros problème d’humidité! Puis la taille de la chambre environ 8m2 pour 12m2 annonçait sur booking, et enfin la salle de bain 1,5m2! On peut se doucher en étant assis sur les WC tout en se brossant les dents. Après la première douche froide, nous constatons le manque d’hygiène, la vétusté de l’installation, le sèche cheveux dénudé, la moisissure… On peut difficilement ouvrir nos valises, la seule « armoire » de la chambre est pourvu d’un tiroir et d’un seul et unique cintre côté penderie. Les Serviettes sont usées ainsi que les savons et autres produits, pas forcément changer, pas de tapis de bain, il a fallu réclamer un tuyau de douche qui ne fuit pas. 2cm sous la porte d’entrée, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans les escaliers! Le petit dej : des crudités seules pas de vinaigrette, œuf dur, saucisson, thé ou café. On est très loin du p’tit dej turc. Il a fallu que j’achète de quoi assaisonner mes œufs brouillés que je faisais moi-même. Pour notre dernière nuit, notre lit n’a pas été refait, pas de « ménage »
• Walmir (7/5): Super simple place, for people that want visit Istanbul, not seated in the hotel. - The place is well located, close to the Blue Mosque, not far from the whole old town touristic attractions. Surrounded by restaurants (I suggest to visit the Bela Vista and the Arch Bistro). Not far from the T1, but it is uphill. Breakfast is there, is simple but is there. The water shower is good, you don't have to wait a lot to have hot water and it will not finish during your shower. The bathroom is not small, but the toilet (or the sink) is not well positioned; the space between them is too narrow. I am 1.80 m tall, my wife is 1.75 m, and both of us had difficulty using the toilet. If a person is taller than 1.80 m or overweight, they will have problems. The staircase leading to the apartments can also be tricky for people with mobility limitations.

• Kristyna (6/5): - The hotel has a great location - 10/10 - but you should know there are a steep stairs, rooms are very small (or at least our room was) with very basic equipment (which is all you need if you don´t plan speding your days indoors) and basic breakfast offer with a nice view. The staff is very helpful and wifi is free. The bathroom is tiny with no window and one poor ventilator so considering the humidity accumulating there, there may be a bad smell. Better accumulation would really help a lot.
• Kamil (7/5): - Świetna lokalizacja do zwiedzania starego miasta, w pobliżu przystanki tramwajowe, atrakcje, restauracje i sklepy. Dobre śniadania. Bardzo miła obsługa. Niestety ogólny stan czystości nie był na wysokim poziomie, ale nie wpływał on na użytkowanie z obiektu.

Το δωμάτιο που εικονίζεται στις φωτογραφίες της πλατφόρμας σας (και βάσει αυτών των φωτογραφιών - παροχών έγινε η κράτηση από μεριάς μας), δεν είχε καμία μα καμία σχέση με αυτό που μας προσφέρθηκε. Στη ρεσεψιόν, ουσιαστική εξυπηρέτηση - συνεννόηση δεν υπήρχε καθότι ο υπάλληλος δεν μιλούσε σχεδόν καθόλου αγγλικά και όποια προσπάθεια και αν κάναμε να έρθουμε σε επικοινωνία με κάποιον υπεύθυνο κατέστη αδύνατη. Προφανώς υπό αυτές τις συνθήκες δεν μπορούσαμε να μείνουμε για τρεις μέρες. Είναι ξεκάθαρα ευθύνη της booking αν οι συνεργάτες που επιλέγει είναι αξιόπιστοι ή όχι σε σχέση με το τι διαφημίζουν ως παροχές και το τι προσφέρουν. Εμείς κλείσαμε το κατάλυμα μέσω της πλατφόρμας σας και δεν είχαμε καμία επαφή - επικοινωνία απευθείας με το Ancient Town Hotel. Ζητάμε - απαιτούμε την επιστροφή όλου του ποσού!

Location is super close to amenities blue mosque is like 6 mins walk but istanbul can be very hilly so make sure you fit 😉 Can't complain for the price in istanbul is a tourist trap

• Senija (7/5): - Blizina svih znamenitosti. Omar je bio susretljiv i ljubazan. Doručak je bio ok. Bilo je čisto. Falili su peškiri za jednu osobu. Sve u svemu bilo je prosječno. Mala soba. Mali prozor koji gleda na dvorište koje je bilo znatno neuredno. Mali hotel ali blizina svih znamenitosti ga izvlači.

Si quieres más lujo pues lo pagas pero para dormir y pasar unas noches me parece bien. Calefacción y aire acondicionado. El baño la ducha está junto a todo. Faltaba un poco de limpieza pero por lo demás ha sido agradable.
• Vanesa (8/5): Buen precio - Por el precio de la habitación no se puede pedir más. Estaba bien ubicado, incluye desayuno y el personal era bastante amable, además las camas muy cómodas. Lo que menos nos gustó es que nos tocó la habitación en el sótano, pero imagino que con una habitación en las otras plantas, la experiencia hubiera sido mejor. Por el resto, en relación calidad-precio bien, ya que está en pleno centro de Estambul.

In the busy atmosphere of Istanbul - This is a quiet and peaceful place to return. The balcony overlooked the sea each morning. It is a five walk to the Blue Mosque and close to the seafront too. The man was so kind, respectful and nice. He made sure my heating worked, my sheets were changed every day, he always smiled, greeted me, the atmosphere was like a home away from home. All perfect.
• Dhelia (9/5): Top - Un vrai coup de cœur ! L’emplacement est absolument parfait : tout est accessible à pied, on est proche de tout, ce qui rend le séjour hyper pratique et agréable. C’est un petit hôtel simple et plein de charme. Ce n’est peut-être pas le plus luxueux, mais pour le prix (environ 20€ la nuit !), c’est tout simplement incroyable. L’hôte est vraiment adorable, super accueillant et toujours disponible. On se sent tout de suite à l’aise. Mention spéciale pour le lit : je n’ai jamais aussi bien dormi de ma vie ! Le matelas est exceptionnel, ultra confortable. Franchement, c’était difficile de se lever le matin tellement on y dort bien. Tout était nickel : eau chaude, chambre propre, rien à redire. Et la terrasse du petit-déjeuner… juste incroyable. Prendre son thé le matin avec cette vue, c’est un vrai moment de bonheur. Je recommande à 100 %, surtout si vous cherchez un endroit bien situé, chaleureux et avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

• Maresa (7/5): Alles in einem war unser Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Wir sind sonst Hostel gewöhnt. Wenn man alles sehr sauber und modern hab - Die Unterkunft ist zentral und das Personal freundlich. Frühstück war ausreichend für uns. Die Zimmer sind klein und nicht sehr sauber. Wir hatten Haare im Waschbecken und Schimmelflecken im ganzen Bad. Die Heizung ging nur auf höchster Stufe oder garnicht.

The room was not really clean, the shower hose was broken, so the water was spraying everywhere and it was almost impossible to shower The personnel was shouting/talking very loudly in front of our door at 7-8 am and woke us up. • Holger (8/5): - Total netter und herzlicher Inhaber. Es gibt oben einen Terassenartigen Raum, in dem auch das Frühstück serviert wird (Fantastischer Blick) . Es gab alles, was man für ein Frühstück benötigt. Für türkische Verhältnisse, in anderen kleinen Hotels, sogar sehr viel. Wir haben dort vier Nächte verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Kein Luxus für diesen Preis, aber ordentlich und sauber. Täglich wurde das Zimmer gemacht. Einkaufen, Essen und Trinken, alles in direkter Nachbarschaft. Hagia Sofia... alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Istanbul sind, kommen wir möglichst wieder hierher. Treppen sind steil und schmal, aber man muss bedenken, dass dies in kleineren Häusern oft so ist. Und natürlich, wie schon von Anderen erwähnt, sind die Wände nicht sehr dick. Uns hat es jetzt nicht besonders gestört.

El desayuno genial con productos locales, bastante bien, además era en la terraza del edificio (cubierta) con unas vistas increíbles. Hacía bastante frío en Estambul y la verdad que era agradable.

Cordialità e disponibilità del gestore indimenticabili. Il nostro soggiorno è stato di 6 notti in totale, con una pausa per un viaggio interno in Cappadocia di 2 giorni. Il proprietario è stato molto disponibile nel tenerci valigie e sacchetti con acquisti vari fino al nostro ritorno. Torneremo e lo consiglieremo per un soggiorno anche di più notti a Istanbul. La struttura potrebbe essere un po' rimodernata ma nulla che comprometta la qualità del soggiorno.

• Adnan (8/5): You get what you pay for - low price - budget hotel on nice location. - The older gentlmen was very pleasent and did everything in his power to make our stay pleasent. Check in and check out is in one minute. Terrace for balcony is nice and you have acces to it all day (kettle/tea/coffee). It is located 3 minutes from main mosques. Very cheap stay. Ac is working The room is very small and the sheets were dirty when we arrived.
• marie (7/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix - L’emplacement proche de toutes les visites Le rapport qualité prix : ce prix là avec le petit déjeuner défie toute concurrence. Le petit déjeuner est certe basique mais il est tout à fait correct. La vue de la salle à manger est magnifique. Pour le 31 décembre on a pu voir plusieurs feux d’artifice tirés à différents endroits. On était seuls avec le propriétaire. Pour un couple, effectivement, dans certaines chambres, le lit est formé avec 2 lits simples. Il y a donc un trou au milieu et la couette n’est que pour une seule personne. Il faut donc demander la chambre double économique et non pas l’autre qui, même si on demande par message un lit double, ce ne seront que deux lits simples rapprochés. Nous avons demandé une deuxième couette et le monsieur nous l’a fournie sans problème.

В кімнаті тепло, все для комфортного відпочинку (холодильник, телевізор, зручні матраци і білосніжна постіль, гаряча вода з хорошим напором, шампуні і мило одноразові постійно поповнювали) Смачні і достатні сніданки. Кухня з терасою дають найгарніші краєвиди на Мармурове море. Власник і персонал привітний. Дякую за чудовий відпочинок!
