It’s a good place, good location, close to shops and restaurants Bad thing is there is no curtain for the bed for privacy, and also not sure if it was just my bed, but the charger station was not good. Charged phone the whole night and only charged little more than half.

- Alice (5/5): Overpriced and dingy but did the job - Good location 20 min walk to many places, one of the only affordable stays in Dublin it seems! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The mattress and duvet were comfortable enough Seemed over priced for a hostel dorm, the facilities and building are quite dingy and haven’t been renovated in a while. The pillows were completely flat. The hinges for the door into the toilet of the women’s dorm was so loud and woke you up all night as people went to the toilet. Generally would recommend earplugs and eye mask (as with most hostels)

Our first night we went to eat at the restaurant downstairs and was disappointed to find it didn't open til 9:30. Seems a little late to eat dinner, so we had to find somewhere else to eat. The room was cold, and when I asked at reception to please turn the heat up a little, I was told okay, but it remained cold for out stay.

- Peter (7/5): average - Was easy to get too, and a nice atmosphere, got a supermarket opposite so easy to grab anything for cheap before heading out for the day. Easily reachable of all parts of the city from the hostel. Beds are okay nothing special There are people outside the hostel that come in, was annoying drug dealer that clearly no one wanted there. Showers/Toilets on a different floor, not the end of the world but is quite the trek at 4 am to get an elevator to go.

- Elizabeth (9/5): Great value for money! Very friendly staff! NIce vibe overall. - good location, spacious room with nice street view. When we got to the room there was rubbish from a previous guest in the bathroom and when I called the front desk they immediately sent someone to remove it.

- Antoine (7/5): Simple et efficace mais peut mieux faire - L'emplacement et le prix. Le bar en bas est très sympa. C'est un bon endroit pour séjourner à dublin pas trop cher. Nous y sommes allés à pieds depuis la custom house il faut compter 30 minutes. Les lits n'étaient pas faits et le matela peut confortable.

- TRM (9/5): Nous avons apprécié le Generator. - Bonne situation géographique non loin des stations de bus, navette aéroport, et centre ville. Personnel très sympathique. Notre chambre à 4 était assez confortable, Le petit déjeuner bon et en suffisance.

- Megan (10/5): Great place for groups to stay together! - We booked 7 out of 8 beds in a room and no one booked the 8th bed, so we had the room to ourselves! There wasn't any noise outside, there was an obnoxious group of twenty-something boys behaving stupidly in the corridors in the middle of the night, but that's to be expected in any major city unfortunately. They're very good about following policy and maintaining standards, and check-in and -out were extremely easy! The vibes of the place are super cool and I wish we'd gotten to stay longer in the city because I'd have loved to go to the bar and shoot some pool. I wish there were paper towels in the bathroom. I know you're supposed to bring your own towels to shower and stuff, but all I did was wash my hands and then I was walking around with wet hands.

- Charlotte (1/5): Worse than hell - NOTHING The worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Beyond disgusting and dirty. I booked all female dorm and there was a trans in the room. I swapped rooms (to a room I assumed was all female), a half naked guy comes in and wakes me up at 12:30 am claiming someone was snoring in his room. Then 30 mins later another guy entered. I felt so uncomfortable and tense as I was the only one in the room. I complained to staff the next day and sent an email and nobody responded. If I paid for a female dorm it’s not acceptable to put men in there. I didn’t sleep the whole night and it ruined my next day. This was also the oldest dirtiest hostel that stank and the location was so dodgy there people doing drugs in the street close by.

- Joshua Schaum (6/5): - The food tasted great. Lots of opportunities to spent the night with games and drinks. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. Our room was dirty and even after informing the reception about a clogged sink and toilet on the first day of our arrival they didn't seem to care and we had to use the shared toilets. Even after a second time they didn't seem to do anything about it. Rooms could have been a lot cleaner. And the staff was mostly rude and not very kind. They all looked like they didn't really want to be there.
