The breakfast was excellent, and the coffee good (not always the case in Istanbul). Best service staff ever. I have never before met more friendly, helpful or obliging reception staff.

You had to take a specific route to get to the front door and because of the heavy traffic, we had some trouble getting cabs to drop us off. Al subir a la habitación, después de desayunar 09:30h, estaba la señora de la limpieza haciendo el baño, ya había arreglado las camas, el check out se supone que es a las 11, con todas las cosas que aún no habíamos recogido y sin dejar de limpiar el baño, tuvimos que pedirla por favor que siguiera limpiando después, al irnos, pues aún había que hacer cosas.

La zona del hotel es buena, cerca del transporte público y de muchas atracciones.- La calefacción hacía mucho ruido cuando estaba encendida, lo comentamos en recepción y nos dijieron que era as´.

luci321 (8/5): Nice hotel - Recital Hotel is situated close to a lot of key attractions with an array of restaurants and cafes close by. Rooms are spacious and well cleaned. And while it was too rainy to utilise the terrace, knowing it’s there is a big bonus. Beds comfortable also. Downside is at nights you could constantly hear water, like a toilet being flushed. So was very difficult to sleep. And breakfast felt more like a staff room than guest space. With staff constantly coming in and out for food and drinks for themselves, eating at the tables etc.

Como tive oportunidade de escrever, até o gato deles é uma simpatia. Utilizámos o serviço de lavandaria e correu bem. O ginásio era adequado. A zona era bastante central. O pequeno almoço era repleto e variado; o café e o chá muito bom. Para quem deseja ficar em Istambul por uns dias, informe-se do Istambul Red Card. Pode tornar tudo mais simples e mais barato. Não é nada que envolva o Hotel, apenas um conselho para os turistas!

Очень красивый, теплый, уютный отель. Отдельно хочу отметить террасу отеля, вид бесподобный в любое время суток. Прекрасный персонал, приветливый, доброжелательный. Большое спасибо Марии, которая создавала нам уют и чистоту в номере, замечательная кухня, прекрасный административный персонал, чувствовали себя как дома. Unal went out of his way to get one from their club shop before the game and left it at reception for us when we got back. What a guy! The heating system was very noisy.

Bize verdikleri oda parasını ödediğimiz oda değildi. Oda çok küçük olduğundan 2 bebeğimiz için beşik sığmadı odaya. Reservasyon yaparken odanın büyük olacağı ve iki beşik sığacağı teyidini almıştık oysaki. İlk gecemiz oldukça zor geçti. Bebeklerin birini yere serdiğimiz süngerde uyuttuk. Elbise dolabı beşik tarafından engellendiğinden onu da kullanamadık. Çalışanlar sorunla yakinen ilgilendiler ve ikinci gün odamızı değiştirdiler. Yeni oda daha büyüktü ve rahat ettik. Victor (10/5): Wonderful hotel in Sultanahmet - The hotel is located in the historic city center within walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, etc. The neighborhood is very pedestrian friendly and safe. The room was clean and well maintained with basic toiletries and hairdryer provided in the bathroom. The room had a safe box. The AC was quiet, there was no noise from the street or other rooms at night. The buffet breakfast was of good quality and had a large variety. Be aware that because the hotel is located in the historic city center, it's far from the airport and the narrow cobblestone streets in the neighborhood are difficult for cars to navigate.

Nejra (9/5): Great location - friendly staff - Great location, staff was nice and receptive. I was surprised that our beds were big, we stayed at some other hotels in Istanbul before and bed was short. Gentlamen in the night shift helped us when our flight got cancelled to book another night and was overall very nice. Loved the cat in the lobby!
Neil (9/5): Comfortable and friendly hotel in the heart of the main tourist district - Very clean property with excellent staff throughout. The room was exactly as advertised and the location was ideal for all the main sights. Breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of choice and attentive staff. Reception is permanently staffed and we were always made to feel welcome. Nothing really but a few things be improved a little. For example, it would be better if the lamp worked without the main overhead light coming on. A coffee table would also be useful. Very minor things.

Încă de când am ajuns, personalul de la recepție ne-au ajutat cu mașina și cu parcarea! Toți angajații sunt foarte săritori și cu mult bun simț ! Am mai bifat un hotel drăguț în Istanbul și pot spune ca aici a fost singurul cu o terasă foarte mare și o priveliște superbă ! Recomand tuturor

658rutug (8/5): Home away from home. - The location is perfect! Literally sitting one street towards the blue mosque and the other towards the grand bazar. Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff and their breakfast staff were the best serving a beautiful breakfast every morning! Buse and Engin worked hard to make sure you were well taken care of and they made the experience wonderful!

wisdomtrips (10/5): We had a decent service at this hotel - I loved the experience at the hotel. We were 17 people and we had no problem with the rooms, the hotel personal are kind and welcoming. This hotel has stunning location just right near all the most tourist places in Instabul. They even gave us company to stores out side, made us feel comfortable and secure. Carla (9/5): Nice hotel in a great location - Location was great, just a few blocks from the key sights in the Sultanahmet area. Nice neighborhood, it was touristy but could still find restaurants that were reasonably priced. Breakfast was nice, a few different items every morning. The staff were great at making sure there was plenty of food. They even brought us yogurt when we asked for it. We had a sea view balcony room but the best feature of the hotel is the rooftop terrace (no it is not a bar). Fantastic views, plenty of tables for relaxing and maybe have a takeout dinner. We bought Turkish desserts next door and brought them up to enjoy with the evening lights before bedtime. The furniture in the guest rooms could use a bit of updating. Our air-conditioning was not blowing as cool as we liked and when we asked for a fan they did not have one for us. We slept okay but probably should have asked more about the air-conditioning. We still enjoyed it and would probably stay there again if we are back in the Sultanahmet district.

MiguelS4779 (6/5): Good 3 star hotel - Stayed at this property for 6 nights.Booked this hotel solely on the positive reviews on this site. Location is excellent and rooms are clean. Only issue is if rooms are facing a particular narrow street fronting the side of the hotel, you are awakened every morning at 6 am by noise from the buisness accross the street where they unload and load water cooler tanks and they are not quiet for at least 30 minutes or more. Breakfast is OK at best.The hotel for 55 euros arranges private airport transfer but they insist on paying them (hotel) in cash which we were not aware off.???. The fitness centre is nothing like the images on their web site, and when we checked in saw a small room covered with 2 or 3 machines but boxes and and commercial machinery stored here like a storage room. Suffice to say never went back to use it. In any event if you want something close to all the major attractions in the Sultan ahmet area, this property is well located. Shout out to Abdul at reception, who was great to deal with and was fluent in english. Average hotel with a good location.

Early in the morning the daylight was filling the space because there were no good blinds. Very early in the morning I felt I was sleeping in the street because of the daylight in the room! Toooo baaad! Sorry guys to share this but I thought it was worth sharing for the benefit of your business!!

Charles (6/5): - The property was very nice in appearance. Our room was on the first floor overlooking a small park, which had people in it all night carrying on conversations right outside of our window. The bed was not comfortable, was two twin size beds pushed together to make a king with two separate duvet covers on it in order to cover the bed surface. Perhaps it’s a Turkish thing, but there were no face cloths in the bathroom for showering or cleaning yourself. Location has excellent access to all of the sights in the old city area.

98ullay (10/5): Would love to come again... - We had a great holiday in Istanbul at the Hotel Recital. The location is very central and within walking distance of many attractions. Our room was comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were all the best but a special thanks to Engin and Buse who served breakfast! We would love to come again.

Отличная терраса с шикарным видом. Персонал приветливый и отзывчивый. Завтраки вкусные. В номере было очень чисто. По мне так идеальное место, я не люблю шумные локации. Почти все достопримечательности в шаговой доступности, что тоже для меня очень ценно. В номере есть банные принадлежности, чайник, чайные чашки и бокалы для напитков. Есть телевизор, но не было времени включить. Не хватало тапочек для номера. Не критично, но было бы кстати.
