• jacquik192 (2/5): Don't go here. Dirty place and ignorant owners. - After waiting outside for half an hour we were greeted by a grumpy woman who marched us around to number 25. We were taken into a back room where 2 older people were sat eating their meal and their son. As the lady left she swore in Italian. We were then taken back to number 27 and into a disgusting room with a noisy toilet with water constantly running. The pillow case had a stain on it and it was just awful. We had to book into the hostle around the corner. We were only offered half of the money we paid back. Dont waste your money or time. I wasnt happy after traveling 4 hours to have to wait half an hour on the street. Ignorant and rude people.

• Graham (6/5): - Air conditioning did not work after being told it did and when asked to find a solution to the broken AC, we were just ensured that it was actually working. Ended up just using the fan. Not super helpful staff and the place was a little rough around the edges but overall it was okay for the price. Will say the location was super good and it’s proximity to major attractions and centrality made getting around Florence super convenient.
• MARCO ARTURO (8/5): Bien 👍 - L'hôtel est très bien situé, le personnel de ménage très professionnel. Un coup de jeune serait un vrai plus mais c'est confortable et le clima marche bien. Pour arriver en voiture c'est un peu compliqué car il faut forcément traverser une zone ZTLet on vous pas avoir une amende (ça nous a arrivé auparavant), j'ai téléphoné al Hôtel pour avoir les indications et une fois arrivée il sont occupés de faire le démarche correspondant.

Incorrect address - Address mentioned on the booking is not the right address, you have to walk on the street like crazy and then someone (if you are lucky) will tell you that owner sits at different address. Owner doesn't (want to) speak English at all.. it's very difficult to communicate. I mean Zero English.. You can't ask for anything. Next, hotel room can be on the 3rd floor or fourth floor and there is no elevator. Bathroom is outside the room. AC hardly does any cooling and you won't get any fan. This was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

The only improvement needed is a fan in the room because the AC barely works. The cleaning lady did a good job daily. Still a good deal for the price and i will come again.

• Cassi (2/5): - This hotel is gross. It smells like sewage, the bathroom has black mold, mosquitoes buzzed around our ears all night, and the bedding looks to be at least 30 years old. You have to check in offsite but he was friendly (though didn’t speak any English). The park across the street is really sketchy and the neighborhood feels unsafe.

Ama o saatten sonra başka bir otele gitme şansımız yoktu. Sabah saat 9.30'da kapımız çaldı ve görevli kadın bu odanın başkasına ait olduğunu ve odayı boşaltmamız gerektiğini söyledi. Uyumamıza müsaade etmediler ve sabah erken saatte uykumuzu alamadan odayı değiştirmek zorunda kaldık. Bu oda bir önceki odadan çok daha kötüydü; kirli, dağınık ve çok küçük bir odaydı ve resimlerdeki odalarla alakası yoktu. Ayrıca tuvalet ve banyo odanın dışında, balkondaydı. Tuvalete gitmek için önce balkona çıkıp oradaki tuvalet ve banyoyu kullanmamız gerekiyordu. Ayrıca odada klima olmasına rağmen kumandası yoktu. Odanın her tarafına baktık, klima kumandası âyoktu. Klimayı açamadık ve balkonun kapısı soğuk hava geçirdi. Banyonun üst tarafı açık ve sokağa bakıyordu. Etraftaki binalardan görülme ihtimali vardı. Zaten banyo balkonda olduğu için çok soğuktu ve bu nedenle duş alma ihtimali yoktu.

Took the lady 10 minutes to get the wifi connected after it had already been connected and dropping out But worst of all they couldn’t fix the air con, she told me to stand in front of it for 30 minutes 😂😂😂 It had already been on while I was out for 2 hours and my 70 y.o mother was in the room. It was not cooler than outside My only compliment is that they did not complain when I asked for a cancellation and refund. We ended up finding a much better HOTEL at Hotel Burchianti which was only a few euro more and its luxurious and fabulous - so unless you have nowhere else to go, don’t stay at Soggiorno Santa Reparata

• pierronzollo (6/5): Bad parking. Better prices. - Mosquitoes, mustiness, are made up for by a great price and location, which combine to make this a worthwhile stand by. There are no frills here, but two dark and gloomy rooms connected by a bathroom. Strong AC and water pressure are impressive. Located at the center of town, so parking and dropping off bags and checking in w nightmares. Find a place with better temporary parking, or you might get a whopping traffic fine.

Sconsiglio questo bed.

• Jéssica (4/5): - Foi minha pior escolha da viagem. Acredito que o anúncio não deixa claro as condições do hotel. Não sabíamos que usaríamos banheiro compartilhado. Ficamos em um apartamento com varios quartos e a porta do nosso quarto tinha um vidro esfumaçado que quando alguém ligava a luz, nos atrapalhava no sono. esse apartamento fica em outro prédio que não é o mesmo da administração do hotel. O quarto tinha mosquito e os lençóis continham um pouco de pelos. Café da manhã simples. A única coisa que gostamos mesmo do hotel foi da funcionária japonesa que era muito simpática e atenciosa. Além disso, o hotel é muito bem localizado.

If i was able to find another place for my family and my brothers we would have left directly without even checking in.

• dmdreaming (6/5): Nothing special, very basic - Once we finally FOUND the place, which was not easy at night, the owner was nice and helpful and showed us to our room. Just a basic bed in a room with end tables and lamps. Wifi password was posted on the wall inside the room. Bathroom was old and seemed to lean downhill. Breakfast was basic, but owners were friendly. It was a last minute booking so we did not research fully. Would not stay there again personally.

Per la cifra che ho pagato ho avuto anche più di quanto mi aspettassi considerando che anche la colazione era inclusa nel prezzo e in piu' la struttura si trova a 800 metri da Santa Maria Novella per cui comodissima per girare Firenze.

Windows don’t have screens so if you want them open, bring repellent. The water pressure isn’t great but it gets the job done. Good breakfast - cereal, toast, yogurt and croissants. I definitely recommend!
• bernie-1040 (6/5): B and B rather than hotel - Not what I was expecting but turned out OK. Had an en suite room with comfy bed. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Staff really friendly and helpful. Let me use the computer to download boarding passes when original flight was cancelled. Not far to all the sights in Florence and only a level 15 min walk from the station.

• Kemal (10/5): Superb Breakfast - It is very central hotel, just a few minutes walk to the restaurants, markets etc. Also 10 minutes walk to Santa Maria Station. The room was big and warm enough for us considering outside was very cold on January and we had a baby. The building was old but that does not bother me. The owner does not know English well but he understands you and can explain what he wants to say easily maybe due to his age and experiences. There is no information or left-luggage office. You ring the bell and they open the door. That's all. You can also leave your luggages to the hotel, moreover they offered us to leave the luggages until train time by themselves. And the breakfast, it was magnificient. Maybe the best in Florence. Kinds of jams, cheeses, cream chocolates, breads, fruity yoghurts, fruits, muesli, egg, hot and cold milk, teas and coffees, toaster, croissant and etc that I can not remember now. And Norie, the responsible lady from the kitchen and breakfast. She was always smiling, helpful and trying to make you feel like you are in your house. The design and the service of the breakfast was superb owing to Norie. Although our kids littered the kitchen and the table, she never gave up smiling. Special thanks to her. Consequently, this hotel can be preferred even for its breakfast only.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good budget friendly hotel option - This hotel is a good budget friendly option. The room we had was quite large, it was in a great location, and had good wifi reception. The bed was not very comfortable and there were not enough pillows for my preference but other than that, we had no issues with this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The reception is located next door, and it would have been nice to know that in advance. We were lucky enough to run into a staff member on our way in, who helped point us in the right direction so that we were able to check in.

We reserved our rooms 10 minutes before arriving and she was ready and excited to see us. There was Air Conditioning and cold cold water to drink. The little things really counted. Again, very clean!!

• Erica (8/5): - This was a very unique hostel. The rooms were comfortable and had the necessary amenities.. bonus was the mini fridge. We had a great view of their garden in the back. It seemed like a quieter area at night which was good. It seemed like they did family style meals and there was a decent sized eating area. The staff is very nice, the older gentleman makes you feel like you’re at your grandparents house.

The bedroom was very comfortable, clean, it’s located at the city center of Florence. Walking distance to the train station, the Duomo, restaurants, The Mercat and souvenir shops. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, Laurie made everyone cappuccino, hot cocoa every morning. We missed this place when we left.

The rooms should just be consired as a place to sleep, the one we were in was neglected, out of date and without charm. That said, the owner and staff appears genuinely interested in their guests wellbeing.

Also beds was made of old fashioned springs and AC in room was not working right. Paying for night $126 I expected better and cleaner place. We decided not to stay there and moved to different hotel.

The owner is there 24hrs and control every thing. Our troubles started in the first minutes when he refused to switch the aircondition on. It was hot and my daughter was not feel well due to hot weather. The room is full of smoke smells, Walls is dirty. The corridor leading to our room is always dark, as the owner keep switch it off as soon as we enter the room. On breakfast him and his staff monitor guests (how much what they eat). It was the worst experience ever I have seen In brief this hotel does not worth the price we have paid for (€156 +36).

Conveniently located near all attractions and only about a 10 minutes walk from the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. WiFi is available but a bit slow.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely city centre location - Location is the best thing about this place. We were within walking distance for all the attractions. The hosts were also amazing, an asset to the place. The only downside would be the shower. However, lovely place and well worth the price.

De kamer die wij hadden gekregen lag precies op een tussenverdieping, ergens tussen 0 en -1. De meubels zijn oud, de badkamer en de electrische voorzieningen erin lijken niet echt betrouwbaar. Er hangt een vreemde geur in het pand, het doet herinneren aan woningen met vochtproblemen. Zeker af te raden voor families met kinderen. Voor dezelfde prijs kan je veel mooiere en ruimere locaties vinden.
