• AMAILDO (9/5): Antigo mas confortável - Apesar de ser um hotel antigo, o quarto e o banheiro são bem espaçosos e confortáveis, com uma varanda em frente à piscina e um bonito jardim. O hotel dispõe de um "quincho", onde os hóspedes podem esquentar água e preparar churrasco, se desejarem. O café da manhã é muito bom com salada de fruta, ovos cozidos, pães, bolos e geleias caseiros, além de cereais e iogurte. O chuveiro demora pra esquentar, o que desperdiça muita água. E o microondas do nosso quarto está com defeito, então não consegui esquentar água pra fazer o café à disposição, no entanto, esquentei a água na área de lazer do hotel (quincho) e ficou tudo bem.

Great location to walk to the city square and nearby wineries. Amazing breakfast and you might be lucky to taste their homemade pastries and wine jams . -The Jacuzzi could use some cleaning -I know they have no control over this but there were what seemed like hecklers driving their loud motorcycles outside the hotel late at night keeping us awake :(

La terrasse attenante à la chambre en face de la piscine est très sympa. Bon petit déjeuner. Parking privatif gratuit. La piscine n’était pas très propre mais il y avait un souci de filtration je pense. Certains équipants mériteraient un rajeunissement (micro-onde hors service).

• Janet (8/5): - Cristian and his brother Damian are welcoming, kindly and helpful hosts, and the hotel is central but quiet. Attractive colonial design. Bathroom was looking a bit tired (but very clean).
• Randy (9/5): Perfect Place - This place was located close to everything. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The beds were very good. Christian and his brother (owners)provided a great breakfast and offered lots of valuable information about the area. Highly recommend this hotel.
• Patricia (9/5): - Het was een heerlijk verblijf. Erg aangenaam personeel en zeer gastvrije gastheren. Een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met huisgemaakte lekkernijen, lekker gezwommen. De douche was onhandig omdat het douchegordijn tegen je aankwam. Kan erg makkelijk worden opgelost door een recht gordijn te maken en de richel op de vloer te verplaatsen. Ook het slot van de voordeur is niet soepel te openen. Verder was alles goed.

• Susan (10/5): - Ask we made our way up the rugged dirt road leading to this property, I sincerely had my doubts as to what I had booked. However, once we walked through the gate to the property it was like entering another world. The place is beautiful landscaped with a lovely pool and comfortable and tasteful lobby/ sitting areas. The rooms are very spacious and clean and tasteful. It is a bit of a hike into town but doable and the town of Tilcara is so quaint and genuine especially the restaurant La Picanteria on the square by the church that we ate at the three days we were there. The only thing this place could improve on was the breakfast which was adequate but nothing more. Offering eggs, even hard boiled ones would have been nice.

Christian & Damian were fabulous hosts and the breakfast with home made and baked goodies was most delicious. This hotel offered everything and more than some supposed 5* I stayed in and I wished I had booked for more nights but hope to be back at some point! Lovely pool and jacuzzi too though I had no time to use them. Nada and wish I was staying longer

• Jon (10/5): Great place to stay in Cafayate! - Great staff! It's a family-run hotel and the two brothers that run it are very, very accommodating and helpful. We had a WIFI problem at first and one of the brothers came down and replaced the router. Breakfast was great. One of the brothers is the pastry chef and he makes great pastries! They were very helpful about giving us local information. It's not the most modern hotel, but rather has the feel of an old Spanish hacienda. We loved it. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again given the opportunity. It's a few blocks away from the noisy downtown area around the square, but easy walking distance in the daytime. They have good, covered parking if you have your own car, as we did. Great value for the price as well. As with all older hotels, the rooms are smaller than in more modern ones, but it really was comfortable and we had no complaints. The ambiance and cultural feel was well worth it. Wouldn't have traded the experience for a larger room in a modern cookie-cutter hotel chain.
