- Samantha (7/5): - Kind staff and good location if you want to be in the Old Quarter. We booked the superior double room, which didn’t have windows (which we suspected and were okay with). However the ventilation was pretty poor - the room felt quite “damp” and sticky which made sleeping uncomfortable and is causing some mold issues in the bathroom.

He took time out of his day to show us all the popular places for food and coffee, booked us a reasonably priced taxi to the airport and even packed us breakfast when we were leaving at 6am. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the old quarter of Hanoi and would stay again!

- Ma Lourdes (9/5): We had an excellent and comfortable stay. Will recommend it to friends! - My family and I loved the location! It’s within the Old Quarter, but the environment is less crowded and noisy. Also the coffee shops, restaurants, souvenir shops, food stalls, convenience stores, ATMs, and markets are within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean (no insects!), and comfortable. The AC was working efficiently. A must for me who’s always feeling hot. Breakfast was very good-a mix of carbo, vegetables, cereals, fruits, and meat (bacon and sausage). All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Frodo, Max, and Leotus. Their service were excellent! There’s even a spa within the hotel. The masseuses were excellent! If you’re smokers like me and my husband, get the room with a balcony bec you can use it as a smoking area. Although, there’s an ashtray outside the hotel where smoking is allowed. There should be a full-length mirror in the room, so guests could check themselves before going out. The bed linen should be changed more often during the guests’ stay.

A simple but excellent breakfast was served daily from 7am. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels. Showers piping hot. Everything in Old Quarter is only a short walk. The furtherest is Train Street approximately 1.4km Everything was okay

Great view over the rooftops from the 7th floor window at the back of the building and from the 8th floor balcony of the hustle and bustle below at the front of the hotel.

Everything was right on the doorstep we enjoyed that. The staff were very friendly and helped us book a tour. Our room was different to what we booked the balcony had one dirty chair and was advertised that it could fit two people and a table which is why we booked the junior suite. The room smelt quite bad when we checked in and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. The bathroom still smelt a bit, I think it had something to do with the plumbing. The pillows were very lumpy, and the room decor was outdated and much older than what is pictured in the property. We also were not informed that you needed to snip the dead bolt your room door when you were in the room and when you left as the keycard doesn’t lock the door. We found this out as someone entered our room at 3:40am, waking us up, making us feel incredibly unsafe. We told staff upon checkout but were leaving for an early flight.

La primera noche nos dieron una habitación muy pequeña cuando yo había reservado la mejor habitación del Hotel, y la segunda noche nos cambiaron a una un poco mejor. De todas formas creo que por el precio podrías encontrar algo mejor ya que no hay ascensor y tienes que subir las maletas andando hasta un primer piso obligatoriamente.

- Mollie (3/5): - The lady receptionists were beautiful! We’re so helpful with booking our tours and mapping Old Quarters for us. The accomodation was not clean. We had two rooms. One rooms air conditioning did not work. The other rooms shower leaked and flooded the entire room. When raising our concerns with a male receptionist he shrug his shoulders and asked us not to take any more towels to clean up the water on the floor. The rooms also had no ventilation which made sleeping very uncomfortable.

Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut – es gab eine schöne Auswahl und alles war frisch und lecker. Ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für den tollen Service!

- Anika (9/5): DER Wohlfühlort beim Start unserer Asienreise - Die Unterkunft ist der perfekter Ort für den Start unserer Vietnamreise gewesen. Vy ist besonders freundlich und aufmerksam. Sie sprach die Gäste beim Namen an, was mir persönlich ein gutes Gefühl gegeben hat. Sie gab uns wertvolle Tipps zu unserem Aufenthalt. Dabei war sie immer höflich und nicht aufdringlich. Man merkt das Personal möchte an erster Stelle, dass sich die Gäste wohl und gut aufgehoben fühlen. Das Hotel ist in der Altstadt, sodass es nah am Geschehen ist aber trotzdem etwas abseits gelegen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Während man frühstücken war, wurden die Betten gemacht und es wurde gewischt. Das Frühstück ist frisch und abwechslungsreich. Da die Unterkunft in der Altstadt ist, ist es die ganze Nacht über sehr laut (Roller, Menschen). Mit Ohrschützern war es aber in Ordnung :)

- Vukovich (8/5): My was fantastic, such great customer service. - The only things to note are 1) the property can use some touch ups and renovations, the photos are much nicer than in person and 2) breakfast was quite simple
- A (9/5): Ontzettend fijn verblijf op een goede locatie. - De ligging van het hotel is ontzettend fijn. Het ligt in de old quarter gedeelte en ook dichtbij de plek waar de bussen stoppen. De service van het personeel van het hotel is ontzettend goed.
- Catherine (10/5): Great value in the bustle of the old quarter - The staff were charming in particular Vy and Mina and Vy’s WhatsApp communications were very thorough. It’s a sweet little hotel amidst the hustle and noise of beautiful Hanoi. Breakfast choices were great and the room was comfortable with a great shower. We don’t mind the noise of Hanoi and could hear the beeping mildly and we were on floor 7. We liked it all.

- kaushik (10/5): - Frodo and Vy, were great hosts. It’s a small cute place. They gave us an upgrade as well. Explained the city old quarters and what to do, where to go, etc ! The place is close to old quarters so very convenient to travel walking.
- Pavel (9/5): - We had a very pleasant stay at Maya Boutique Hotel & Spa. The hotel was clean, both in the room and in the common areas, and everything felt comfortable. The staff deserves special praise – everyone was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety of fresh options to choose from each morning. We stayed in a room without a window, where it was difficult to stay without the air conditioning on. However, we see this as a characteristic of the building itself rather than a fault of the hotel.

- Nadia (7/5): Too busy and polluted area of Hanoi. Not for us - Staff was awesome. Helpful and friendly We asked for a quiet room which meant in the back of the building without a window. Albeit the staff did ask if we wanted an upper floor with a window but even with 8 floors up there was constant beeping and traffic noise. It was too much if you are a light sleeper like us Good breakfast Right in the centre of things. So polluted and congested. We knew it was going to be busy but we feared for our lives ring to navigate the roads to get anywhere. Almost ran over several times

WiFi works well Airco is good All very clean The breakfast area is small and over crowded. Serving breakfast to a later time, maybe can help either the people influx.
