Guest Reviews
- Kotnik (7/5): -
- Tero Oksanen (2/5): A real budget stay in Baconsfield. - Location. Housekeeping came only once in 5 days. Tv remote was out of batteries, no electric kettle, we did get one when we asked for it. No glas cup for washing your teeth. No small towels, two large ones for two person. Our botle of water froze in rooms small fridge😄.
Everyhhing was mix matched.
- Alan (1/5): Left after about 20 minutes the room was in an awful state and not what is advertised in the pictures. Asked for a refun -
- Çelik (10/5): -
- Brian (7/5): Pretty good - Some flexibility i.e. let me leave my bags for several hours. Didn't help me enough to find the way to exit the building or to get a drink of water didn't apologize for leaving me waiting at the door for tten minutes wondering if I would get my luggage so I could make my flight
- Fran (2/5): - Nothing Broken toilet seat and bathroom smaller than a broom cupboard

- Sean (3/5): -
- Anna (5/5): - Pokój był czysty, bez zapachu wilgoci i pleśni. Była działająca lodówka i czajnik. Komfort łóżek w miarę OK, choć w jednym dało sie wyczuć spreżyny w materacu. Brak szafy, komody, czegokolwiek gdzie można było by położyć rzeczy. Brak klimatyzacji, koszmarna wentylacja.
- Fuente (10/5): Muy buena - La comodidad La ubicación
- Daryna (10/5): -
- Paulo Alexandre (10/5): -
- de Gouveia (5/5): - Location Shower head spray came off while showering. No cups for coffee. Headboard torn. Light on the side not working.
- Cathal (4/5): If you have nowhere else that matches the price, pay more! - Cost was decent as were the staff There was a hole in the roof with a bucket to catch any rain, I asked for 3 single beds, I got a double and a single, ergo, 2 unhappy children. The entry through a pub with underage children with customers, who were obviously drunk, trying to talk to my children, was a terrible experience!
- Jean (7/5): -
- Tekle (10/5): - This very nice and clean
- 1401capi (9/5): -
- simon (8/5): - Friendly staff. Helpful Noting. Was safe and clean
- Michelle (1/5): Horrific - Nothing The property had a smell of cannabis throughout. There was no toilet roll. Staff wasn’t helpful. Tv didn’t work. Fridge didn’t work. Great area. Mc Donald’s across road and cafe on corner. Hotel like a drug den
- Stynes (6/5): Would stay again good location, nice staff, Room was good, bathroom was very small - Very good Location
Good room for a very good price Bathroom was very small
- Mithila (4/5): - The location The lighting in the room was horrible. Bathroom were unclean and there was a weird smell in the room.

- Paul (5/5): - Affordable accommodation in good location. Easy accessible to central London. Somewhere to put the head down You get what you pay for
- Cláudia (7/5): -
- Anna (7/5): So and so.. - We found the hotel to be clean.
The bed linen and towels smelled fresh, and the absence of carpet made everything feel more hygienic overall.
Although it is located above a pub and can be quite noisy before 11 pm, this was not an issue for us since we usually returned later at night.
From around midnight until mid-morning, the hotel was generally quiet and peaceful.
The location is excellent: there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel with direct connections to central London and nearby tube stations such as Manor House and Finsbury Park.
Additionally, there are many shops, a shopping area, bars, and even a McDonald’s just across the street, so it is very well served.
Overall, it’s a suitable place if you mainly need somewhere to sleep while spending most of your time out during the day and evening. The problem is the night access, which is through a secondary entrance at the back, requiring you to walk through the pub’s garden area.
This space was often occupied by people staying there until late, smoking cannabis, and behaving in an uncomfortable way. As two women alone, we felt quite unconfortable due to unwanted comments.
We also had a food delivery (Just Eat) marked as delivered to the back entrance, but it never reached us. The next morning, we found the remains of our order in the garden area, where someone was still sleeping outside, at 9 in the morning which suggests it had been taken.
It would be much better if the hotel entrance were separated from the pub area or if access to that space were restricted, as it does not feel particularly safe.
- Lee (1/5): - Location Room dirty, with dirty bedding .

- Chris (7/5): OK for a short stay -
- Stephen (2/5): Poor bathroom - Cheap price and location. The room was ok for the price, but the bathroom was ridiculously cramped, using the toilet was very difficult, and the hot water took at least 10 minutes to come through.
- Gabriel (7/5): Cheap and cheerful - Cheap and great location Beds were uncomfortable
- whyte (8/5): - Everything
- Gabriel (8/5): Cheap and cheerful - Cheap and great location Beds not great
- Gabriel (8/5): Cheap and cheerful - Location is great plenty to do around the area Beds a bit squeaky
- Alethea (1/5): Not good!! - The gentleman on the bar was welcoming and informative. The room was filthy, dried blood on door, walls dirty with snot and who knows. Floor dirty. No milk for tea and coffee, def would not shower as bathroom disgusting. Sheets and pillow cases dirty.
Would have found somewhere else but was on a time limit. T.v was smashed but only noticed when turned on.
- Adrian. (6/5): You get what you pay for. - Ok. Noisy.very Noisy. Old air conditioner/freezer. Blasting on at regular interval 24/...
- Bingol (1/5): -
- Chris (7/5): -

- Micheala (1/5): Vile… avoid - Room was filthy. Not as described on website.
Beds broken and stained. Pubes and long hairs everywhere.
Avoid… Staff was terrible. Refused refund even though did not stay due to state of room. Very poor service. Room was filthy and needs urgent attention. Basic cleanliness missing. Poor beds/ sheets/bedding. Stained walls. Curtains were filthy. Honestly refused to stay.. made me itch!
Next day they told booking.com that I did not show so got charged again for the room that I did not stay in although payment was made in full on arrival. Refund refused while there by rude staff who walked away and ignored the fact I was there. So bad… save your money. This room charged me twice and had to rebook a travelodge for the night.

- Jeovanny alberto (6/5): -
- Julia (3/5): -
- Olivia (7/5): - Great location
Good size room
Staff pleasant on check in at the pub The TV didn't work the signal kept going and not many channels tuned in , batteries dead in the control so couldn't sort this.
No milk with tea and coffees - fortunately I had some spare with me.
Bathroom and some areas not the cleanest
- Stephen (1/5): Waste of money and the pictures on the site don't represent the hotel - I had to put a complaint in on how awful dirty and disgusting the hotel is. Also a danger to the public with bare wires from walls, fire doors with broken closers and stains all over the walls. Everything
- Ramandeep (8/5): I really enjoyed for the price - Good hot shower with good pressure, nice room interior, I had a nice view out the window. Rooms have a fridge as well Nothing
- Jessop (10/5): -
- Anthony (7/5): - Perfect location
- Jayne (5/5): Not plush but functional - The location was convenient for us. The host was unresponsive to messages
We couldn't access the room at the time we wanted to.
The bed was not particularly comfortable.
The room was pretty small and quite shabby.
- Botond Tóbiás (6/5): -
- Peter (7/5): -
- Jordan (7/5): - That it’s opposite a little shopping retail park with a McDonald’s and opposite an overground station
- lisa (5/5): cheap and clean but not great - bed was clean and comfortable main entrance through a pub and then up 2 sets of uneven stairs, in the room bathroom was too small, had to leave door open to use the loo, double bed pushed against the wall so had to climb over OH to get in and out of bed, fridge not switched on, shower bracket broken
- Andrew (9/5): -
- Marin Cristian (6/5): -
- Julian (4/5): - the pool table but i didnt use it and the room was climatic the shower was little bit small for the bathroom
the floor was dirty aswell but the rest was good
- D9283VOkatied (2/5): Avoid at all cost - I booked this hotel, as it was close to Alexandra Palace, and had read reviews on Booking.com, thought it would be okay for the night.
Boy, was I wrong!
The TV didn't work, there was no kettle, the bathroom wasn't even big enough for a family of Borrowers, never mind fully grown humans.
The worst part... the bed was riddled with bedbugs! My partner and I packed everything up, went down to speak to the man at the bar, who didn't believe us at first, and then just said OK and told us to go through who we booked with to get a refund.
He didn't even offer to find us another hotel, which I've always believed was standard for this kind of thing, just turned away from us and got on the phone to someone, I imagine his boss.
- Tapkat Olivia (7/5): I enjoyed my stay regardless, I will most likely recommend - Esay access
Good Internet
Gentle/calm staff
Nice mirrors
Toilet rolls, teas, cereals, kettle, fridge was available The room was a bit small compared to the price
The noise/loud music from the pub
Towel needs changing

- Michelle (4/5): - The photos on the booking website show rooms that aren't the ones you'll find in the hotel. At least in our experience, my partner and I booked a room that was completely different from the one we booked. It was tiny and had a terrible shower and toilet. As a hotel, it's fine if you want to stay two or three days just to sleep, but at least don't fool people who book with photos that aren't the ones they'll find on arrival.
- Stewart (7/5): -
- Alex (4/5): -
- Andrea (5/5): Short stay so the place was great value for money - Location for Arsenal nice and local and a pub underneath A bit outdated
- Abbas (1/5): The the rooms are really bad and the workers did not help at all - The room smelt really bad we’ve called and they did not help us. We couldn’t sleep at all because of the smell and they did not arrange another room.
- Charlotte (1/5): Would never stay here again!! - Nothing! Dirty room with stains on the bed sheets. Someone else’s hair in the shower and dirty bath matt. The bathroom was so small you couldn’t sit on the loo and close the bathroom door. No way of contacting staff outside of pub opening hours. I have nothing good to say about this hotel. I would never stay here again!!
