- kaushalkakani (10/5): Perfect family stay in Istanbul - This is one of the best aparthotels I stayed in. It is very close to Takshim square and has a cozy vibe. We stayed in the Family suite and it has very spacious. It had a balcony offering perfect space to unwind and relax. The best part about the hotel is the hospitality and its Manager, Veli. He is very polite and kind and always ready to help. Similarly, his colleague Shafique is also supportive. The only challenge is a bunch of stairs which you have to climb up and down to reach from the street to the hotel but Istanbul is geographically like that with full ups and downs so can't help. We will surely stay in this property again next time we visit Istanbul.

My husband (British) and I travelled from the UK with my family joining us from Iran. We had a lovely stay. Michael (the owner) was very hospitable and generous, and Veli (Vali?) was the loveliest person you could ask for to interact with, providing excellent customer service. He was very patient, accommodating, calm and smiling at all times. He speaks English fluently and was facilitating all of our interactions and attended to all of our needs. Breakfasts were lovely, thanks to their excellent chef(/s?), and they were accommodating us even when we were getting there after 10 am! We had the loveliest stay, thank you Michael and lovely Veli and the rest of your team. Xx

The room was big, comfy and clean (which is especialy important when you travel with a kid). We enjoyed breakfasts in the garden and evenings on our balcony. Our kid even refused to go back home as he wanted to stay in our suite and lobby for some more))
- Giuliana (10/5): - It is a quaint french inspired hotel. There is a small grocery store and fresh fruit/veggie stores next door. Friendly and helpful staff. My room was a little apartment with a small kitchenette to do your own cooking. The breakfast inclusion was varied and of high quality and ample. It is close walking distant to Taksim square so central to everywhere. I highly recommend this hotel.

After checking out we left our luggage and backpack in hotel for all day and they saved it for us with no problem! We had a room with jacuzzi with was nice to just relax after long walks In Istanbul! Very clean and comfortable too! Breakfast are nice too, so much choices of food! I highly recommend this hotel! 💕

- bethoshaughnessy1964 (10/5): Great location, warm and welcoming staff - We stayed here two nights in January 2020 and enjoyed it. The staff really are very welcoming and the rooms are nice. It’s not like a Ramada or Holiday Inn - it’s a different experience but better in our opinion. It was a little loud but we left the window open a crack so we kinda had that coming. The elevator is small and funky. Not recommended for people who don’t like that.

- parkhees (6/5): an average boutique hotel!! - just a basic small boutique hotel...very close to istiklal street. major drawback is the way to this hotel which is steep down the street....so when you are tired you tend to find it frustrating to climb up to visit the market & go down to the hotel. breakfast is very normal....nothing special!! one good thing is that if you walk down the other side of the street, you reach Kabatas tram station which can take you to Sultanahmet, grand bazaar & ferry station. room size is good though!! lift if very very small...hence claustrophobic

Lift can accommodate only 3 persons that too without any luggage. Location is undoubtedly good!! The negative point is the steep steps which u have to take to reach this hotel

- lottamagic (2/5): A untrustworthy Hotel - I am very upset and angry that yesterday I Booked my hotel The Marion's Suite with booking.com for next week and received my confirmation today I got a message saying my payment was rejected and to update the card or ring the resort i did both as i knew there was plenty of money on my card. I rang the resort and they told me just update the card on line I asked them to take it then and there and if they wanted another card in case they had a problem (it was a master card so I dont see why there would) I could just do it over the phone but I was told no just update. after I updated the card I got another message a few hours later saying my booking was cancelled and I could rebook if I wished the price had now gone up by €50 I rang my card company to see why a payment would have being rejected and they informed me no payment was attempted against my card so basically the hotel just wanted to put up the price. i rang the hotel again and he said rebook it at the new price if I wanted he was rude and just wanted more money I rang booking.com and there team and was told there was nothing you could do about it as it's the hotel that deals with and they want the new price for the hotel. I won't be booking with you again. I work as cabin manager for an airline and stay in a lot of hotels and I will be informing anyone I know to book anyplace but yours I hope the 50€ you put the room up by is worth it. I have added the message from the hotel manager saying my place was confirmed the day before he decided he wanted more money.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Ik vond de ligging nabij taksimplein gunstig met uitzondering van het hoogteverschil t.o.v. plein (steile straatjes) De dagelijkse receptie zoals vermeld ontbrak maar is misschien door omstandigheden vervallen. Verder ontbraken keuken met magnetron zoals vermeld op de site voor standaard 1 persoonskamer.Overige was aanwezig. Gastvrije en vriendelijk personeel. Prijs/ kwaliteit is goed :)

- Verified traveler (4/5): Not what was reserved - I booked this hotel after doing a lot of research. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was given a room that did not at all match the description on my reservation. After seeing the room, I went back to the front desk and said it seemed that I was given the wrong room. I showed him the description (which included balcony, jetted tub, fireplace and more). He blamed hotels.com for the incorrect description and told me there was actually only one room in the entire hotel that had a jetted tub. Although he was not rude, he was not interested in improving the situation - his solution was to move me to a balcony room...if I paid the difference in price. I don't know whether it was the hotel's fault or hotels.com's fault, but regardless, it was very disappointing not to receive what I booked and not to feel like there was any empathy for the situation. The room was also exceptionally loud (and I normally am not bothered at all by noise). On the bright side, the hotel location was good, with convenient access to restaurants, markets and attractions.

- Nicola (10/5): Ottimo - Hotel molto bello, camera grande e pulita. Molto vicino a Piazza Taksim, raggiungibile però con una salita ripidissima che mette a dura prova le capacità di scalatore. Anche più difficile il ritorno in discesa in cui si rischia di scivolare specie quando la strada è bagnata. Di lato alla strada si possono usare delle scalette purtroppo ogni tanto rotte. Per l'hotel niente da dire, colazione ottima e abbondante, Wi-Fi eccellente e personale gentile, posizione ottima. Assolutamente consigliato per tutto se avete una buona tenuta fisica

We were told that an airport shuttle would cost us a certain price but they never mentioned that it was in Euros until they wanted us to pay and we didn’t have euros. We were on the 5th floor, ceilings were too low we all kept hitting our heads on it

- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst booking - I booked through hotels.com but when we reached there we found no reservations and no available rooms, we stayed around half an hour where they were trying to look for us in a hotel with availble room. First hotel was under revolution and the smell and noise and workers all around, then we came back to the hotel trying to find another. We had to wait more time until the reception is available to take us to other hotel. Coz we were late we had to go by ourselves holding our bags for a long distance and a hotel in bad place where they have no rooms except small one ground floor. Worst booking ever

- W5209BMelaineb (8/5): Excellent staff great location - Staff in the Marions suites went above and beyond to help us any way they could - providing details on trips, transport etc. The room was very big, a kitchenette was a great addition with tea and coffee making facilities. The room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was pretty standard but what was expected on our budget. Taksim square is a 5 minute (up a steep hill) walk away! The university (not entirely sure of name) tram stop is a 5 minute walk (down a steep hill) walk in the other direction. Overall, a great stay in a great location!
- Ayaz (10/5): Fantastic room right behind Taksim Square - The penthouse we ended up booking was comfortable and lavish. The three of us had a ball here. The suite has views of the river and the tiny lane leading to the river itself. Location wise, this is a min walk from Taksim square and the start of Istiklal street. In all, more than happy with our stay here. The two slight concerns we did have are the lack of charging points close to the sofa or beds (just one) and since the ceiling is slanted, some of the spots in the penthouse were a little too low for me (the other two were fine) and I did bump my head and hands a couple of times.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nettes Hotel - Das Hotel ist nicht weit vom Taksim Platz. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück ist gut und reicht aus. Die Zimmer werden jeden Tag gereinigt. Nur sind die Möbel nicht mehr die neusten, aber da man eh nur zum duschen und schlafen da war, ist es ok.

The breakfast was pretty good and generous. Very close to Taksim and Istiklal street within 150 meters only. If we will plan another trip to Istanbul Marion’s suite hotel will definitely be our best choice to stay.

The hotel is very close to taksim square with lots of nightlife, but it can be very loud since there is a club right across the street. The music was playing loudly until about 4am. It is a good place to stay if you want to go out, but is not good if you plan to try and rest.
- Bana (8/5): Good overall experience - The service was excellent and the rooms quite nice. We had two small problems, one was the steep climb to reach Istiklal and the other was a loud club we could hear at night. If you are energetic and have no problem with some exercise and late nights, this a great place to stay.
- George (10/5): Great value for money - We stayed in the 'modern suite' for our short family stopover in Istanbul, and it had everything that was needed for a comfortably stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Location is good, a 3-4 minute walk to Taksim Square, even though it involves a steep climb up the hill. A couple of shops and cafes next to it, where one can get food and refreshments at 'normal' prices (rather than those you get just up the road on Istiklal). Absolutely no complaints, and would stay in this hotel again any time.
- Pradeep (8/5): about the hotel - This hotel has got biggest advantage of the location, close to metro,main market . The staff is very friendly and the service is good. The only thing they have to improve is the reception area ( interiors have to be re done) and the bar area & TV area should be enclosed as the same gives little awkward feeling once you enter the place otherwise very good place. We further request you to please look in to the tariff factor also as the rates are little on the higher side as compared to other good hotels in the area.
- Rajat loonia (10/5): Excellent hotel 2 mins walking to taksim square. - Let me tell the experience short and sweet.. 1) excellent staff , they will help you in every thing and I mean every thing. Tell them your problem and they will give you it's solution.. 2) excellent rooms.. We booked deluxe suite and they upgraded it to penthouse suite.. Deluxe suite was very big and penthouse suite was like a dream.. Superbly decorated. So don't worry for comfort.. 3) excellent location :- location was 2 mins walking to taksim square and 4 mins walk to istikal street. So i was at the best possible location.. 4) felt home.. The way the staff greet made us fell home. 5)more than a boutique hotel.. Don't expect for swimming pool or a big lobby.. But decorated overall nicely.. 6) lastly value for money...
