If I have to mention anything: the fact that there were no electricity sockets near the bed (I need one for the CPAP), but this was solved easily by one of the extensions the reception desk could provide.

- Funda (8/5): - La chambre est assez spacieuse pour une chambre au japon on pouvez laissez nos bagages ouvert et circuler dans la chambre contrairement à d’autres hôtel. L'emplacement est super bien placé, vous êtes à proximité des grands centres commerciaux etc On était au 9ème étage nous n'avons pas été dérangé par le bruit. Nous étions avec notre fille, nous avons pas payé pour elle mais le lit était très petit pour nous 3, même à 2 c’était pas très spacieux.

Le wifi était rapide. Proche d'une bouche de métro, mais la gare est très grande, donc il faudra dans tous les cas marcher beaucoup. Le petit déjeuner était correct avec pas mal d'options.

- Melton (10/5): Really great and clean place to stay in the center of the city. - The location for us was great. Close but walkable to many markets, temples, and great foods. We enjoyed the massage and haircuts on the same street and found everyone very friendly and hospitable.
- Patrick (3/5): - The Location is near Umeda Station. Pretty central and nice to connect to the rest of the city. We have just arrived at our new hotel after traveling through Japan extensively this year and also two years ago. During all of our travels, including stays in traditional ryokans and visits to many onsen—especially in rural areas and smaller towns—I never had any issues, despite being heavily tattooed. Because we speak a lot of Japanese and are clearly respectful travelers, I was always allowed to use the baths and onsen without any problems. At this hotel, however, the experience was very disappointing from the start. The staff spoke to us in Japanese, but extremely fast and without really adjusting to us or engaging properly. When I asked whether I was allowed to use the public bath (which is not even an onsen), I was told no, purely because of my tattoos. I went downstairs again to ask for clarification. The staff member initially tried to dismiss me by asking whether I had makeup to cover my tattoos. I said no, and she went to ask again. When she returned, she told me that I would only be allowed to use the bath if I completely covered my tattoos with makeup—otherwise, I was not allowed in. I find this completely unacceptable. First of all, this is not an onsen, but a public bath. I understand that hotels may have their own policies, but in this context the rule felt unnecessarily strict and outdated. We are staying in the middle of Osaka, a highly international and tourist-friendly city—not in a remote rural area. We speak Japanese, we behave respectfully, and it is very obvious that we are European tourists and not affiliated with anything like the Yakuza. Throughout our entire journey across Japan, this is the only hotel where I was denied access because of my tattoos—and especially for a public bath. That makes this experience particularly disappointing and, frankly, quite offensive.

- Olga (10/5): - Hokke Osaka Club is a place we've returned to again, as it made a very positive impression on us two years ago when we first visited. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and communication is seamless in English. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are cozy and tidy. You can heat up food in the microwave or buy a drink from the vending machine. For 200 yen, you can use the washing machine and dryer. On the top floor, there are onsens, a perfect opportunity for foreigners to experience onsen culture for the first time. Breakfast is also available at the hotel, which I highly recommend, especially for foreigners, as it's not the typical English breakfast like in most hotels, but authentic Japanese cuisine. I tried my first takoyaki here, for example. Besides all the things I've mentioned, a great advantage of this hotel is its proximity to Osaka Station, a 10-minute walk away. Thanks to this, we stayed in this hotel throughout our stay and didn't have to carry suitcases with us, because we simply traveled around Kansai by train every day :) Rooms are small, but it's a Japanese standard :)
