Close to a convenience store and cafes and restaurants/takeways. Comfortable, clean well facilitated room. Nice to have a balcony. Helpful staff. Busy road, there may have been quieter rooms at the back, I used ear plugs and slept well.

It would be good to see a toaster and a egg lifter in the kitchenette. Maybe A small hot plate and saucepan/ frypan A blender So we could have a bit more of a variety of cooking meals

• Schirmer (6/5): Convenient to local medical facilities, clean, but some issues with maintenance - The location is very convenient to the hospital precinct, which is great, and there is a lot of overnight parking on streets nearby. The room was clean and TV worked well. Beds were very soft, very noisy airconditioning and fridge both with a high pitched whine that meant they had to be turned off if you wanted to be able to sleep. Air fresheners were used to mask mould smell from the bathroom, and were so strong we had to air the room for half an hour with windows open before we could cope with being in it.
• Eckert (8/5): Great staff and handy location. - The reception staff through the booking and reservation process were very helpful. But even more helpful and welcoming was the duty manager Vernice- she made everything connected to our stay easy. The mattress was comfy and room was fine, and the location is quite close to the city and surrounds, but you do have to contend with the constant traffic noise. Traffic noise

• Irene (8/5): Second short stay at Camperdown Best Western and will make it my regular in future. - Definitely a bonus to have a small but well run hotel in the middle of Camperdown. Great for access to regular transport at the door and close to Uni and Hospital. Room was a really good size, comfy bed, very clean and perfect for my short stay. Noise from corridor use by others a bit more than ideal but was not consistent or late.
• Helen (5/5): Would have been a pleasant stay if I didn’t get the noisiest room in the hotel - Facilities and layout of room. Close to shops and cafes My room was at the front next to the corner and very noisy. Couldn’t get to sleep especially the first night as had revving up by motor bikes waiting at lights, heavy trucks rolling past, pedestrian lights beeping, music blaring from speakers and ambulance sirens 3 times during the night due to RPA being just up the road. Evidently the back rooms don’t get any noise. Avoid Rm 213.

• Kris (4/5): Ok but if same price the Rydges across the road is better - Great location, not bad value, microwave, rooms where fairly modern, and despite some mould in bathroom, everything else was very clean. Rooms are very noisy, seems like no insulation in the walls and layout means there is almost no seperation between hallway and bed. Heard every person coming and going, their conversations and their morning alarms (starting from 5.30am). The cleaners started at around 8am and where banging and clanging right outside. When my wife spoke to them about it, they were not apologetic and told her she was being unreasonable. The bathrooms are functional but absolutely tiny.

Requested a quiet room which was provided. Bed was very soft and comfortable- great night’s sleep. There was a chopping board but no knives other than dinner knives.

• Chappill (9/5): unexpected stay - the staff were efficient and pleasant. due to flight issue booked in very late in the evening but was still well received. it was on public transport routes. there were quality and value for money cafes nearby. surprisingly quiet for its location the kitchenette allowed flexible eating options with plenty of shops nearby. the loud "ding dong" of the lift call button.

• Robin (3/5): The only advantage was the location which was near our conference. - Not applicable The garage was terrible. The dividing concrete curb on ramp should be painted white. Going out in the rain to garage was a bit ordinary. Getting a message after making a booking that the garage is extra was disgusting. Shown to park next to a car that was parked on the line.

We have stayed there a few times in this hotel and loved it. We bought another couple with us this time. They changed our room. They said we were getting an up grade to a King room. It was no up grade. It was a down grade. The room was so so small. Very disappointed with our stay this time. But our friends room was good. The room smelt of mould. The hair dryer didn’t work properly there was not heat.

• Paul (9/5): Always a pleasant stay. Convenient location for Enmore Theatre & eateries in Newtown. Immaculately clean. - Convenient location for a night out at the Enmore Theatre. Handy to loads of eateries on King Street and a couple of local pubs, within a couple of blocks, on Parramatta Road. Our 3rd stay at this property and it is always immaculately clean. We were in a very small room this stay (324). To be honest we had everything we needed, but a bit more space would’ve been good. Will definitely stay again but will remember to request a room at back of the building or on the Lyons Road side.

• Elaine (10/5): Comfy haven in a handy location - The staff were great, and kindly changed our room to accommodate an unexpected early check-in (heads-up for anyone needing the same - they didn't receive the early-check in request made via booking.com and said it's always better to phone them directly). While the location isn't quite in the heart of of the action there are lots of little gems in the area, and it's a handy 20 minute walk from both Glebe and Newtown with the bus stop to Central right outside the door. The sandwich press, hairdryer and shaving mirror were all nice additions too. Great value, would definitely stay again. The kitchenette was greatly appreciated, but a few more utensils for food preparation (knives, peeler, etc) would be very handy, ditto a proper bottle of washing up detergent. Not a deal-breaker by any means though.

We parked 2 blocks away which was ok, but if it was raining would of been an issue. Lady at reception was excellent. The whole lace was very very clean . The bed, and lack of parking.

Tôi giặt quần áo và đang sấy thì có việc ra ngoài, tôi nhờ họ khi nào xong thì làm ơn bỏ vào phòng hộ tôi và họ đã giúp, tôi rất cám ơn vì điều đó. Chỉ có một lò vi sóng, không có bếp nấu nên nếu bạn có đem theo con nhỏ và định nấu gì đó thì không được. Giặt và sấy quần áo có tính phí 8 đô/lần.
