• José (8/5): Una posada tranquila con personal sumamente amable y servicial en un pueblo maravilloso con vistas increíbles. - La ubicación, la decoración, la atención del personal, la limpieza. En booking decía recepción 24 horas y no es así. Hay días que entre 22:30 y 6:30 no hay nadie. Otras veces entre 00:30 y 6:30 no hay. Las habitaciones carecen de refrigerador. No tienen aire acondicionado y tampoco cuentan con ventiladores para prestar. El desayuno es muy rico, pero tiene muy pocas opciones.

• France (9/5): A lively place to explore the region - The Posada is a lovely place to relax, as it has many areas to sit and enjoy life! It is a perfect place to start exploring the area, and the town. It is close to the main road where you will find a great variety of very good restaurants. To be picky, I would say that breakfast was less than inspiring. A croissant, 2 slices of toast, a nice cheese pastry. Small individual portions of jam and cream cheese. It would be simple to get some of the home made products that ca be found in the market, and offered hard boiled eggs.

• Katerina (10/5): - This accommodation has a very nice garden with a mountain view and very nice common spaces. The room was big, met our needs. We enjoyed the stay for one night. They also have parking in the backyard of the private property.

• Federico (1/5): Decepcion - El momento de irme y las vistas Toallas gastadas, colchones vencidos, baños precarios,....todo hubiese sido superable si nos recibiera al inicio del día un desayuno propio de la zona....en su defecto el desayuno consistía en pan fargo, jugo tang y mermelada abedul....creo haber desayunado mejor en el colectivo inter urbano. No vale lo q cuesta..no vuelvo nassss!!!

• Eugen (8/5): Pleasant place to stay while in Tilcara area - The property is well maintained, especially the garden and the common areas. Also, it functions as a true oasis where you can enjoy the calm atmosphere and also the safety it offers. The parking is a very good bonus and is absolutely safe since it is located on site and closed by the door from the rest of the public area. The location of the property, although somewhat outside the center, is actually a bonus and in reality everything is within the easy walking distance. The details I did not like can be summed up in two important details. The first one was a bathroom with its very inconvenient fixed wall shower that does not allow proper body showering. The second one is the breakfast that I have found to be of little variety and is served in a very inconvenient way. I was expecting a better breakfast in relation to the price paid. In any case, I recommend the property to any future visitor of wider Tilcara area.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a cute little hotel a little bit out of the way in Tilcara. It takes maybe 15 minutes to walk to the town center. However the out of the way location makes this property very quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean. The high ceilings give it the feel of a much larger room. The bathroom is not luxurious but adequate. The common areas are just to die for: the cabins are built around an interior courtyard with grass and vegetation and invite guests to linger there. There is a cute little terrace to sit and have a glass of wine. When we were there, the hotel didn’t serve dinner but they gave us glasses, utensils etc. to have a picnic on the terrace. We didn’t use the inside common areas but they were large and comfortable. The staff only speaks Spanish so bring a phrase book if you don’t know the language. The only negative was the internet which went in and out and didn’t really allow for anything more than texting. This is a problem if you don’t have an Argentinian cell phone plan. I rate this hotel excellent for friendliness, relaxation and atmosphere.

• sylka (8/5): Charming hotel by the mountain - Charming hotel with nice local food. Good service. We arrive to the hotel on a rainy day and it was raining in our room, but we were offered another one. The place was very humid and there was no heating, so the staff turned it on, but by midnight it was off again. There's dust everywhere, I know they try to keep it clean, but the furniture in the rooms is not inviting. The hotel has a lot of potential.

Das Highlight ist der hinterer Garten, um dem sich die Zimmer als einzelne Cabañas anreihen. Diese Oase ist es immer grün und frisch und es fühlt sich fantastisch mit dem Blick auf den überragenden Bergen auf der Terrasse zu verweilen. Service, Personal, Sauberkeit und Räumlichkeiten erfüllten all unsere Erwartungen bestens. Es war immer 24 Stunden jemand für uns da. Eine Verlängerung unseres Aufenthalts um 2 Nächte mit den selben Konditionen wie bei Expedia gebucht, verlief problemlos. Wir würden immer wieder herkommen.

• Patricia (8/5): Hermosa posada en un bellísimo pueblo - La posada está ubicada cerca del centro con una hermosa vista a los cerros. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y están muy bien decoradas. Tiene un hermoso jardín que da a todas las habitaciones. El lugar es muy tranquilo. el desayuno es bueno, así como la limpieza de las habitaciones y del lugar en general. Lo único complicado es que no se puede conectar al wi-fi en las habitaciones. En la recepción hay mejor señal, pero igual no es muy buena la conexión.

• Guillermo (8/5): Buena experiencia, pero podría mejorar. - La posada es agradable, las habitaciones cómodas, tiene estacionamiento propio, el lobby espacioso y el personal bien dispuesto. Tendrían que mejorar el wifi en las habitaciones (en el lobby y la recepción sin problemas) y reparar el grupo electrógeno, ya que por desgracia durante nuestra estadía se cortó la luz por todo un día y el grupo electrógeno no funcionaba. Buen desayuno, hermoso parque y bonita vista, y la ubicación -si bien no es la mejor- tampoco es mala.

• Juan José (8/5): Muy lindo y tranquilo - Excelente habitación, amplia, limpia, luminosa, muy buena estética y atención. La perla negra: la tarifa es en dólares. Hice la reserva el 15 de diciembre de 2015 pero cuando fui a pagar al retirarme el 3 de enero de 2016, el dolar había pegado un salto del 40%. No me tuvieron piedad. Ojo con eso.

• Federico (8/5): Simple and quiet - A very comfortable inn with nice amenities rustic decor. We stayed just one night but it was very nice to wake up with sounds of farm. The mountains are so close that you can touch it.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointing stay - The hotel is designed in adobe style with individual casitas, but was a bit too basic for the price. The bathroom was poor and the bedding too. On the 2 very cold nights of our stay there was no fire in the fireplace in the room or the communal area. The hotel lacked atmosphere. The breakfast was meagre and while the staff were friendly they were not very effective. Not good value for the price paid.

Retornando de Antofagasta a Calama furou o pneu traseiro da moto que estavamos viajando e não conseguimos socorro em tempo hábil. Logo não foi possivel chegar em Tilcara na data prevista para o check in em 20.04.2015. Conseguimos chegar em Tilcara somente em 21.04.2015 ficamos apenas 01' noite no Hotel. Comunicamos a Central e a Pousada via e-mail, mas assim mesmo foram cobradas duas diárias. Reitero que o motivo foi força maior e lamento a pouca compreensão!

• Jens-Michael (8/5): Gemütliche Posada mit tollem Garten - sehr schöne Anlage mit gemütlichen Zimmern um einen großen Garten herum; toller Blick auf die Berge der Ort ist klein und von der Posada ist alles zu Fuß zu erreichen das Personal ist nett und hilft gern, fast alle sprechen Englisch Tilcara ist eine gute Ausgangslage für Touren in die Quebrada de Humahuaca leider haben die Zimmer keine Klimaanlage und an warmen Tagen kann es recht heiß werden WiFi reicht nicht unbedingt bis zu den Zimmern im hinteren Teil des Gartens

The atrium of the hotel as well as the room are very nice and cosy but there is not sufficient heating in winter (our room had an open fireplace but no wood...). There was enough bedding to keep us warm. The staff at the reception was very friendly but did not seem very experienced.

Staff were very friendly. The only minor negative was that breakfast wasn't too great as there was little on offer other than bread and beverages. However, I would stay here again.
