- JanineKay2302 (10/5): Perfect for a few days in Bangkok - We were visiting Thailand on our honeymoon, and flew into Bangkok to meet family for a few days in the city before going to our 'getaway' destination. The Jasmine was selected for us by our family member who has stayed there countless times over the years. It's a lovely, spacious hotel, very clean, nice big rooms with everything you need and more - i had the best nights sleep of my life here that i can remember. The staff are very prefessional and friendly, and the hotel bar manager was super hospitable offering us free drinks and chatting with us on our first night. It was excellent value for money too - the breakfast was amazing, literally anything you want to eat, it's there, as much as you want (if you're my husband). Very well situated for the the SRT, right outside, so you can get anywhere in the city quickly and easily. I wouldn't call it a luxury or romantic hotel, but it was very pleasnt and perfect for a few days in the city.

- Michael (8/5): - I enjoyed my stay at the Jasmine Resort and already booked two more stays at the hotel for a future trip to Bangkok. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The entrance to the Phra Khanong BTS Line is seconds away from the hotel's main entrance; good to have when it is raining. The property is in good condition, but you can tell the age of the place (e.g., the room bathroom could do for a remodel). I like it that the toilet has a dual toilet seat bidet and a hand held spray bidet. The staff was amazing and was ready to assist and very helpful. Some of the standard room accessories (e.g., iron and ironing board, dish soap and scubber, and kitchen knife) were missing upon check-in, but the staff replaced the items very quickly upon request. I look forward to my next stay at this hotel. There is a drug store and convenience store seconds away from the main entrance.

If it was any closer to the train station it would have to be in it. The pool was nice, the staff were helpful and pleasant, and the rooms were ginormous. Only complaint is that the neighborhood id a bit bland. There's a couple nice hawker centers within walking distance for food, but pretty much anywhere else you're gonna need a taxi or a train. Luckily the train station is basically in the front parking lot.

- IaninPerthshire (8/5): Not Bad.....but there are better - Flying in from the UK, we had a great experience at Eastin Grand Sathorn. Wish we'd booked it again on the return home. At the Jasmine, the room IS both large and clean, but very (late 70s ) dated. To be fair, the is extremely comfortable. Outside pool is nice but VERY noisy and there are FOUR sunbeds. I mean, really ??.....Inside pool is nicer but in this heat, who wants to be there ? Sauna and steam rooms are available but are showing their age. Breakfast adequate but nothing special. Staff though are very helpful and nice. That said, the concierge tried to charge us 2000 baht for a trip to the loating market when we have got a taxi for a fraction of the price. This offer made without request at check in !!!! Too many other hotel choices in Bangkok...... bad hotel?....no, absolutely not. But is it a really good one ?.....no. Here are half the sunbeds....

Hotel is clean and well maintained, though you can see a bit of wear and tear here and there. The staff is friendly, helpful and overall amazing. I’m always welcomed back here with smiles and. Hotel has a nice outside pool, Spa with hot pool and a gym. They are not the biggest ones, but got their job done nicely at least for my needs. Hotel is located next to always busy Sukhumvit road and it easy to get to anywhere in the city from the hotel. Nearest BTS station is just next to hotel which is a great plus. You can find many massage places, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. There is also small convenience store just outside of the lobby. Ekkamai Gateway shopping centre is also close. For those who want to practice golf swing, 42 Tee-Off driving range is just a short walking distance away.

- DrDR_TO_and_O (6/5): what about this title: Potentially a great hotel, but I would hesitate to return - A very nice hotel with a great location, adjacent to a BTS (Sky Train) station and a supermarket. The staff are helpful and polite. On the downside, rooms facing the street are not completely quiet due to street noise at night. After we complained, the efficient and helpful staff moved us to a room at the back, which was quiet but had an unpleasant smell. I suspect the weak but persistent sewage odor came from the plumbing connection of the washing machine or the sink in the kitchenette. Unfortunately, that problem was not resolved.

It was a bit noisy as we were on the 11th floor so if you can try and get a higher floor (we tried but they couldnt give us one) as the constant hum of the road traffic can be annoying. - localmick (10/5): GREAT CITY HOTEL, WELL LOCATED - Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was great. Very spacious, clean, and well equipped. In the apartment, we had a fully equipped kitchen, living area, 2 bathrooms with a bath, a shower, and a toilet in each. The bedroom and living room had great views from the huge windows across Bangkok. We were on the 14th floor, so the view was great. The hotel also has a nice bar serving food and drink where you can watch the Bangkok nightlife go past you whilst you eat and drink. We only booked the room for a 1 night stop over ,so we didn't really get the full benefit of its facilities, but it was still a very good stay. Anyone staying longer, I fully recommend this place. The location was also very good, with plenty of bars and restaurants around, and street food sellers a plenty with foods to suit most peoples tastes.

- Winson (8/5): - This was our second hotel in Bangkok for 3 nights. We enjoyed a pleasant and tranquil stay at this hotel. The spacious bedroom sky suite room offered ample comfort and relaxation, and the location was perfect for BTS travel. The price for our stay and duration was reasonable. The only drawbacks were that the hotel’s facilities, including the gym, squash court, outdoor and indoor pools, and spa, closed earlier than anticipated compared to other hotels in Bangkok. It would have been nice to enjoy these amenities later in the evening after a day of sightseeing. Furthermore, the breakfast service also concluded earlier than at other hotels in the area. Despite this, we had an enjoyable overall experience during our stay.
- K1625WOjamesd (10/5): Excellent Location and Value - This is a great hotel and here is why… the rooms are clean, the breakfast is good, the staff is nice, but most importantly it is literally right outside the BTS station. There are more luxurious hotels in the city but you will likely have to walk or Grab to get around. For getting out to see the city it does not get more convenient than this hotel. That on top of the fact that it is still a nice hotel. And the price is really great. Even better, it is close to Soi 42 which has some great local Thai eateries. I stayed here in 2018 and 2024 and the service and amenities were consistently good. Some of the same staff were also there six years apart which tells me they are good at what they do. Give this hotel a look rather than paying too much for something farther up Sukhumvit. *I stayed here with my four kids and wife and did a double sky bay suite.

- FarAway04980169629 (10/5): Amazing Hotel - My wife & I spent nearly whole of August at Jasmine Resort Hotel and used it as base to travel around Thailand it was amazing experience. The Hotel was clean and friendly staff at all levels also the food was great especilly breakfast and we had room service few time which was good so we cannot find any fault with the Hotel and icing on the cake was it is located next to BTS Phra Khanong.We will definitely stay here again when we visit Bangkok next year.

Our family was misled by the hotel staff by putting an ashtray in a so-called non-smoking room (which was actually a smoking one). Now a penalty fee of 5000 Baht is put on us without even a warning. Was it a scam? Did this happen to anyone else in Thailand before?

Excellent breakfast (vegan friendly). Nice and comfy bed, clean bath tub, great selection of facilities (gym, pool, spa, sauna, steam room, massage pool, even squash room). I can’t ask for more for the price i paid! Will definitely stay there again for the next visit! Cons: occasional drain flies and small buggy were spotted in the bathroom, but it’s bangkok after all. The building and the facilities overall are not in the newest condition, yet everything is generally well-maintained. And there is no 7-11 nearby. the closest one is 5mins away by walking. Think twice before booking if you are picky about these.
- Bradley_G_1975 (10/5): We felt so much at home here for 17 days! - We had a great 17-night stay here. The hotel is conveniently right in front of the BTS Phra Khanong Station. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast buffet offers many Thai, Japanese, and Western dishes. We loved the swimming pools and saunas. While this hotel is rated as a 5-star establishment, if it were in Canada, it might be considered more of a 4-star. For budget-conscious travelers, I recommend MOMO Thai massage, a five minute walk on the other side of Sukhumvit Road, where you can enjoy a one-hour massage for just 300 Baht (e.g. 10 Euros). My only suggestion for improving the guest experience is related to booking taxis for private tours. I propose that the hotel allow guests to prepay the taxi fare in advance. Upon the guest's return, the hotel can then settle the fare directly with the driver. Additionally, I suggest that the fare include all associated fees, such as national park fees and highway tolls. To avoid any confusion or misunderstandings, the hotel should establish a written agreement with the driver and guest. This agreement would outline the itinerary, specify which fees are included, and provide an approximate return time for the guest. Clear communication among the hotel, driver, and guests is crucial for a seamless experience. Thank you so much to the amazing staff who made us feel at home everyday. We truly miss staying here!

- caca168 (6/5): Good Location ! - Hotel was just next to the BTS station, the staff here was friendly and helpful, the room was clean with a queen size double bed, the bathroom was separate with the toilet so it would be more convenient to use. However, the hotel itself was a bit old, and some of the towels were worn out but still in use, so it was feeling not so good. Meanwhile, the buffet breakfast was just so so, it was not fresh enough, so it's not worth to try.

Breakfast is good, but after 2 days you would want to eat something new. Overall 5 stars, the only downside is the traffic around the hotel, it is always congested but non-issue if you only want to take BTS/MRT.

Our room had a private pool which made up for a lot. It was clean and a great amenity. The gym is dated with little equipment.

However, bear in mind that this BTS is not really in the central part, is about 4-5 stops away from Asok. Around the hotel are 2 small malls which serves office workers around the area. We took the triple room which was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was so so, nothing to shout about. Service was professional though I feel lacking in warmth. One of the front desk lady even raised her voice when I wanted her to repeat something. However concierge desk's personnel were very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was plentyful but in true Thai fashion, cold. Good eateries in the area. Would definitely return.

We got a very quiet room with excellent view to Bangkok. The rooms are fully equipped, the door mans are very friendly and helpful. The spa is also very convenient inside and outside too. All the staff was very friendly throughout the hotel. I gave a 4 star because of the breakfast. The Asian foods were indeed tasty, but the rest tasteless. I ate the worst pouched egg in my life and scrambled egg too. The bakery was dry and tasteless. If I compare with our latest accommodations in Thailand It was not as good as the others. But apart from this I would recommend it. Maybe it was just my taste 🙂

- John (8/5): Underwhelmed - The photos do not seem to accurately reflect the current state of the property, partly due to the impact covid has had over the last almost two years. The bad upfront: I was irritated by the design/layout of the toilet area because the direction the door swung made it difficult to enter or exit without doing a little gymnastics routine. The current food menu is not suitable for vegetarians. Honestly, there wasn't anything bad about the room I stayed in. The place was clean and comfortable. The A/C worked well, maybe a little too well. There were only two pillows on the bed, but additional ones in the closet. I couldn't figure out how to get the stereo system to work but didn't ask the staff for assistance. I don't know why but overall I just felt underwhelmed by my experience there. I don't have any true complaints or anything that was wrong. I just left with a feeling of "meh."

I have stayed at other VIP Access properties and recurved small but meaningful perks such as room upgrades or complimentary breakfast vouchers. This hotel offered nothing whatsoever and when I asked them about it the hotel provided the response “no VIP access was available at the time of check-in.” I found this answer both vague and unconvincing. It is my believe that this property should not be listed as a VIP access property on Expedia.

It was humid and stuffy and even the flood was moist. Found two insects. Service surprisingly transactional, not very friendly. Given the price and the declared five stars, I would have expected much more. Especially given comparators in Bangkok.
