• Cristina (10/5): - Very charming place in Salta! The hotel has a nice garden where you can hear the birds in the morning, while sipping a cup of coffee. The breakfast is very good with a good variety of pastries (the delicious medialunas included). Staff is very helpful.

• ANNE (8/5): Salta la belle est envoutante - L'accueil (une réception ouverte 24/24, très réactive et facilitante), l'emplacement (facile d'accès en voiture et proche des sites touristiques et des restaurants), l'ambiance familiale, la déco soigné nous ont beaucoup plu. Salta est une ville où la musique règne et les nuits peuvent être "bruyantes" mais c'est anecdotique.

• federica (8/5): - Struttura ubicata in palazzo d’epoca, a ridosso del centro e con molti bei locali nelle vicinanze, dotata di parcheggio riservato gratuito. Curata la pulizia, staff molto cordiale e disponibile. Buona anche la colazione, servita in una sala molto suggestiva, affacciata su un bel giardino con piscina. L’hotel necessita di lavori di ristrutturazione, le pareti della camera e del bagno erano molto sporchi. Anche la biancheria andrebbe rinnovata.

The artwork and furnishings celebrating their culture are beautiful. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and great water pressure for showers. The covered courtyard with plush, comfortable furniture made our stay so enjoyable. We were able to relax, play games, and stay dry in the rain. What is most impressive is the detailed personal service of each staff member -many of whom speak perfect english to our imperfect spanish ;)- professional yet personal and always available to be helpful. The secure covered parking next door was an added bonus. Breakfast was great! Surrounded by lots of choices for restaurants. Outstanding overall.

• Gilles (10/5): When in Salta, stay at La Candela. - La Candela is a little jewel of a hotel ! It is a bit old fashioned with a very, very nice décor. Our room was spacious and we had a balcony where we could have coffee; the bathroom was "art deco", which I liked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. There is a large courtyard and a small pool... we took advantage of the big chairs in the shade but the water was too cold.. too early in the season ! At a 10 minute walk from the large Plaza, the hotel is very well situated with some nice restaurants close by ! I certainly recommend La Candela, you will enjoy it.

• Hartmut (7/5): Preiswerte zentrumsnahe Unterkunft mit kostenloser Garagenbenutzung - Die Lage war sehr gut, sehr nahe zum Zentrum. Gleich nebenan Garage zur kostenlosen Benutzung, wird nachts abgeschlossen! Sehr schöner Garten mit Pool. An der Rezeption sehr nettes, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Aushilfskraft beim check-in war für diese Aufgabe nicht kompetent, es lag evtl. auch an den nicht ausreichenden Englischkenntnissen. Bedarf z.B. nach Kleiderbügeln wurde erst nach Anmahnung bei der nächsten Personalschicht erledigt. Zimmergröße von ca. 12m² sehr beengt, insbesondere bei einem 1-wöchigen Aufenthalt! Das für das Frühstück zuständige Personal war in der Regel nicht aufmerksam. Das Frühstücksangebot wurde je nach Personal (!) verzögert und erst nach Hinweis wieder aufgefüllt! Ansonsten typisch argentinisches Frühstück z. B. kein Messer, nur kleines Teller (Tassen-Unterteller), Normalteller nur bei Bestellung von Spiegeleiern, diese mussten jedoch jeden Tag erneut angefragt werden!

El personal es muy amable y la habitación era tal cual la esperábamos. Llegamos en coche y pudimos utilizar el aparcamiento sin problemas. Muy recomendable para visitar Salta.

Welcoming, helpful, friendly, always happy to provide whatever you needed and answer your questions. Score them 11 out of 10. The location’s good too! And the garden and pool are lovely spaces to relax. Our “standard” room was a bit smaller than expected. Otherwise fine.
