• Neeraj (3/5): - Location The amount charged was more than initial amount that was there when booked. The size of the room was much much smaller than shown in images against the room type. No Sunlight. No Exhaust or Vent in Bathroom.

• Penelope (8/5): Good location - We only stayed for one night to be close to airport for our flights home. Couldn't check in till 2, but they held our luggage whilst we walked the city. Friendly staff, clean rooms, no windows, but price great. Good location for shopping. Would not recommend for long stay unless you get a room with a view.

• Maxwell (2/5): - The biggest problem that I have regarding the property is that they permit people smoking in their rooms. Even worse, cigarette smoke from some rooms make their way into other rooms via the AC system. Not only is this seriously unhealthy, but it’s an issue for people who quit smoking. Changing rooms doesn’t help. Besides this, the place is like a fraternity house, which you may or may not enjoy

• Hazel (7/5): Value for money but lacking customer service - The location was good. Right opposite little Tokyo so lots of sushi restaurants. A short walk to the Opera House where the hub of everything is. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant serves lovely food. The staff are not very attentive and are always looking at their phones. Might be I staff in the bar, with only one customer, and they avoid eye contact in case they are asked to get a drink. If you approach them they are friendly but they don't go out of their way to provide good service. The swimming pool is absolutely tiny. More like a paddling pool. The room I had was by the lift which made a dinging sound and time someone called it. Didn't really bother me but might if you are a light sleeper. At the weekend the Korean/Japanese business men bring hookers back and you back hear lots of dodgy sounds from their rooms. The breakfast is aimed at Japanese customers so I didn't really enjoy it.

They were very helpful and even helped with a computer problem that I had. Excellent staff! My room faced the street which made it a little noisy but not too bad. I was able to get a good night's sleep.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Not recommended for a number of reasons. 1. Booked a Double Deluxe Room but was given a Superior Room instead. I only just realised the discrepancy while filling out this review, otherwise, I would have had it rectified there and then. 2. Unpleasant and disrespectful encounter at front desk during check-in. Staff insisted on keeping the national ID card of my partner, who is a Vietnamese citizen. While I asked the staff to make a copy of it, like they did with my passport (as I was a tourist), the staff refused. It was an embarrassing and humiliating experience for both of us. 3. Property indicated as smoke-free but the previous guest(s) had smoked in the room. Air-con filter had not been changed and could smell cigarette smoke at all times while in the room. Did not have a good sleep because of that. 4. Bedroom slippers provided were not disposable. While eco-friendly options are understandable, at least indicate if the slippers had been sanitised. 5. Pictures of the dining room are deceptive; the dining room is much less fancy than shown.

A lot of marble, mirrors, and "gold" in the public areas... looks like a business hotels in China or Taiwan. No window in the room. Not really a problem since spent most of our time outside. Good wi-fi Bathtub with jaccuzi that doubles as shower (with curtain). Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Staff is minimal in the hotel and it took some time to find someone to bring milk for the coffee. Girls at the desk were very nice and helpful. This is a business hotel, not a resort. Good value for money (at the price we paid) and I would recommend it. Looks like there are many similar/identical hotels on that street.

• Two female travellers (8/5): Polite Staff - Staff were very nice and helpful. The room had no window which was a bit strange. Good location but quite Japanese. We were the only westerners at the hotel and only females. That didn't bother us, but may bother others.
