There is never an instance when I have had something this harsh to say about Taj ..there are minor things that happen everywhere but this hotel in general does not have the Taj culture, i do not say everything was bad there were some very nice employees as well, but it generally lacks the warmth and care that Taj has . I guess the brand is more focused on increasing the hotel count while the experience seems to be of no priority or lets say the bare minimum.

The beautiful heritage Taj Mahal can be seen from your windows/rooftop. Pleasant greetings from every staff member whenever you meet them. Housekeeping staff, Shyam and Vikram did fabulous work with in-room Bday decoration. My daughter really loved it. Thanks for the kind gesture. Lip smacking food served during buffets. Chef Ashish really takes care of your specifications and likings in food, if any. We booked all meals inclusive package so tried most of the food served at different times. However during our visit their main restaurant palato was closed and we were served all our foods in their coffee shop. Food although was good but coffee shop seems a bit too small and at times uncomfortable if crowded. And it somehow hampers your dining experience if compared with Palato. Amazing activities within the property for you and your child's entertainment. specially Noor-e-Taj show hosted by Mr Bhattacharya was one of a kind. It gives you first hand information before visiting Taj the next day. Kinds room although designed very well caters only a specific age group of kids. Management should try to enhance more number of games for different age groups. probably a play station for older kids will serve the purpose. Overall experience is very good. As the name reflects, you definitely feel the royalness of 'The Taj' Felt so relaxed dipping in the infinity pool. A worthwhile experience and definitely would love to come back again

Mein Zimmer war bei meiner Ankunft um 16:30 erst nach 30 Minuten fertig, obwohl mir nach meinen Nachfragen immer wieder gesagt wurde, dass ich 5 Minuten warten muss. Der die Armatur der Badewanne war undicht und wenn ich das Wasser eingelassen habe, war das Badezimmer halb unter Wasser. Aufdringliche Trinkgeld Forderungen: Wie z.B.,ich bin zu Mittag ins Zimmer gekommen, die Reinigungsperson hat gleich geklingelt und mir gesagt, dass er das Zimmer gereinigt hat, was offensichtlich war, und ich mich eigentlich ausruhen wollte und mich gestört fühlte.

Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Especially the staff in palato- chef Ravi, chef ashish and pastry chef Toofaan, supported by ankit, jaykhush and many others. Each one of them ensured we tasted all the items in their specially curated delicious meals and have a good experience. Also , the chefs prepared a special chocolate Truffle cake for the occasion of our anniversary on special request as I am allergic to cream cakes.

• Travelmemoirsofswati (10/5): Legendary hospitality at Taj Agra - I had set out for Taj Agra from New Delhi in the morning hours. The luxury property had sent a chauffeur driven car to pick me up for one -day staycation. Upon reaching the property, the traditional welcome was fabulous with tulsi garland, tikka, Cranberry juice and different types of pethas. I was given Taj Club with Taj View Room. It was spacious double room with butler service. Lunch was at Palato, the all-day dining outlet that served a la carte menu. It was a five-course lunch that was remarkable. I had a spa therapy at J Wellness Circle in the evening that was quite soothing for the tired nerves. There is a puppet show on the ground floor and Noor-e- Taj- the sound and lighting show on the majestic Taj Mahal that takes us down the memory lane during the times of Emperor Shah Jahan and tries to humanise Taj Mahal. Infini-the sky lounge is a rooftop restaurant with a swimming pool that serves Italian delights and offers direct views of the Taj Mahal and the city of Agra. Dinner was at Daawat-e- Nawab, the Indian speciality restaurant serving Mughlai and Awadhi delights. Paan Patta Chaat is a typical Agra delight. You get to sample a wide range of Kebabs here and the forgotten delights of Uttar Pradesh. The next day a trip to Taj Mahal in the early morning hours made my day. It was a hilarious and learning experience. Back to the hotel, buffet breakfast was at Palato. It was an experience to remember.

The stay was more thrilling with services given by the staff at Palato by Chef Ravi and the executive Ankit Verma. It is also amazing to see the social development of new ihm trainees Aman Kumar was amazing it is so nice to see the development of future talent. It was a great experience. The rooms are spacious and have the required amenities. The food spread is good.

That level of care and attention was genuinely commendable. The entire staff and managers specially Mr Prabath👏 were incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout. What touched us the most was that even though the breakfast timing was almost over, the team still made sure we were comfortable, well-served, and completely satisfied before closing the breakfast service, a special thanks to Mr Ankit👏. • Yuliia (5/5): Expected More from a Taj Property - We expected a bit more from a Taj property overall. On the positive side, we were upgraded upon arrival, and the new room was huge and comfortable. The hotel’s location is also excellent — just minutes away from the Taj Mahal, with rooftop views of the monument. The breakfast spread was extensive, with plenty of variety, and the staff at the restaurant were very attentive and welcoming. The overall experience didn’t quite match the level we expected from the Taj brand. The rooftop bar was particularly disappointing: the food and beverage menu was very mediocre, yet the prices were shockingly high. The space itself felt outdated, with worn-out furniture and an overall lack of atmosphere. Unfortunately, the pool area also looked old and uninspiring. We also had an issue at reception where we were accidentally charged double. The mistake was only noticed after I pointed it out, and we are now still waiting for the refund, which has been quite inconvenient. I would definitely recommend carefully checking your bill before leaving the hotel.

My wife had called them a few days before our stay that we were going to celebrate my birthday so she had requested to decorate the room. When we arrived the front desk made us wait for 1 hour for check-in only to find out that the room had still not been decorated. When my wife reached out to the manager of the hotel they really made sure to make up for the inconvenience caused by sending beautiful cake and Taj mahal made of white chocolate to our room which was sweet gesture. They even provided complimentary dinner for both of us at the restaurant. We were celebrating my birthday dinner at this restaurant on the 2nd floor of Taj Agra. The ambience was perfect for enjoying a nice family dinner. Food spread was good with vast selection of veg and non-veg options. The food was very delicious. Loved the rose flavour kheer. Special mention to Mr. Zafar and Mr. Prem from the restaurant team to make sure our whole dining experience was amazing. They even gave us a complimentary birthday cake which made it even more special. I will definitely recommend this place to have a nice dinner with family and friends. Overall I would recommend this place for stay in Agra, its very close to the Taj Mahal. The view of Taj Mahal from the rooftop infinity pool is amazing. Only thing which needs improvement is front desk check-in.

Staff is super helpful and equipped to anticipate and exceed all our expectations. Special mention goes to Ms. Akansha and Mr. Dinesh at reception and Mr. Ashish & Mohit at Palato restaurant. The attention they provided to my family during breakfast as well as dinner made each meal extra special. Only regret remains that I could not stay longer due to existing travel plans. After somewhat okayish stay in Taj Ganges, Taj Agra restored my comfort in Taj Hotels. Look forward to my next visit.

The hotel is so family-friendly: staff were patient and warm with the kids, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Special shoutout to Chef Ravi - the food was outstanding. He made sure there were healthy options that we actually loved, and the rest of the menu was excellent too. Mr Prabhat also took great care while we were dining and during breakfast. The breakfast spread and Indian dishes were a huge hit. The location near Taj Mahal is perfect, and the hotel grounds are beautiful for kids to walk around. Highly recommend for families. Will definitely be back!

• Amsam83 (10/5): Great stay at Taj Agra - We stayed here for 3 nights with family. Overall, the stay was great. We stayed in the Luxury Suites, and both suites were well designed, had a good layout, and also offered a glimpse of the Taj Mahal. We arrived around 11:30, and check-in was smooth. We were welcomed with a small garland and tilak. The reception staff kindly offered us one suite that was ready and told us that the other suite would be made available at check-in time. They also offered to take us to the Taj Club Lounge for beverages and refreshments while we waited. The Luxury Suite is well designed, with a separate powder room, a proper living room, and a bedroom. The bed was comfortable and had the right amount of firmness; I slept very well. The AC controls and Wi-Fi setup were easy. There were plenty of charging points for multiple devices, and the lighting in the room was adequate. Room service was prompt and attentive to our needs. There were plenty of water bottles and a good tea-coffee assortment in the room. The bathroom was large and had separate bathtub, shower, and toilet areas, along with a proper large sink area. The bathroom amenities were all from Forest Essentials — again top-notch and exactly what you expect at Taj. The hotel has two swimming pools, one a rooftop infinity pool and one on the second floor. Both were usable, and we enjoyed them. The second floor also houses a nice-sized gym, a wet area, and a spa. We dined at Palato and their flagship restaurant, Daawat-e-Nawab, and enjoyed both. The food was good, and the service and waitstaff were attentive. Prabhat and Suhita at Palato were very friendly, and we received great service there. The Taj Club Lounge was great for a quick bite, especially during evening cocktail hours, and we used it daily. Jayprakash served us there, and he was helpful and always smiling. The hotel also has the Noor-e-Taj show in the evenings, presented by Mr. Subrata, and it is worth watching. It offers a nice history and a different perspective on the Taj Mahal, and I highly recommend it. Mr. Subrata is very talented, and he brings his own charm and style to the show. There are also puppet shows and pottery-making sessions in the evening. Mr. Wilson from the travel desk helped us arrange knowledgeable guides for the Taj, Agra Fort, as well as Fatehpur Sikri, and also arranged a golf cart for our Taj visit. Overall, this was a very good stay — a 4.5/5, if you will — and I would highly recommend this hotel for a nice stay. Now for some constructive feedback, which does not affect my rating, but given that this is a Taj — a hotel chain that is both aspirational and a leader — I would say there were a couple of misses that, if addressed, could have made the stay much better. First, maybe because our rooms were given at different times, or because they were made ready in a hurry, there was no welcome amenity in the room. They used to do a small plate of local sweets and even a Taj-shaped edible sweet earlier, but we missed that here. I asked the reception twice about it during the stay. They promised to rectify it, but I guess that fell through the cracks. The same goes for checkout. The process at checkout was smooth, but there were no small souvenirs, which are typical of the Taj Group at checkout. Sure, they were at capacity, but having experienced such small gestures at other Taj properties, this did feel like a miss. Again, as I said, these gestures in no way affect my rating or stay at the hotel, but in the absence of such small touches, the whole experience does feel transactional rather than familial. There is nothing wrong with transactional, but having stayed at multiple Taj properties, I do expect more. Now for a couple of small suggestions within the room. The shower area does have an anti-slip mat and a grab rod on the wall for senior citizens. I was specifically told by the senior citizens traveling with us that even the toilet area should have such a rod for better grip. Also, the lighting by the sink could be made a little brighter. There is a nice shaving mirror by the sink, but I did wish the lighting there was better. One more gripe — at flagship hotels, Taj should really have a better coffee machine in the room instead of a kettle and instant coffee mix. It looks tacky and serves no real purpose. I know some Gateway properties have Lavazza machines, and ITC has Nespresso machines in their upper-category rooms. Taj should take note of this and make that change. Again, it was a superb stay, and these small misses did not impact my overall experience in any way.

• Coastal57305252122 (10/5): Wonderful experience at Taj Agra - My family had great time staying at Taj Agra last month. We were out for a family getaway along with kids. All of us had been able to experience great hospitality. We enjoyed the Noor e Taj show by Subrata and even my kids enjoyed his witty and casual overview. He has great voice. I would like to include the service and support provided by Mahindra and Rishi from the housekeeping team. Puppet show could be a little longer and engaging as this was the main attraction for my kids but I see a disappointment due to a very short session.
