Weiter hat man uns praktisch keine Hilfe betr. Ausfügen geben können und zu guter Letzt 3x die Betten nicht gemacht und das Zimmer nicht geputzt - auch Toilettenpapier war nicht ersetzbar... Alles in allem nicht zu empfehlen.... Schade!

• Verified traveler (4/5): - It's difficult to find this hotel, there's no sign of it in the street, you need to go through 2 yards to find the door. The yards look awful and the smell is bad. I booked a room to travel with a friend, who also booked a room at this hotel, but our rooms were in separate buildings! Be careful about it. Also, it was winter and very cold in the room, I had to ask for a heater. The bathrooms are tiny, you can't get dressed after taking a shower without touching a toilet. There are no facilities for kids upon request (no child chairs, no small toilet seat, etc.) The only positive impression is the stuff. They are nice and friendly, ready to help in any situation.
• lbrtata (6/5): Good experience to stay in a typical post-Revolution redesigned building - We choose this hotel for one of our stays in Moscow during the Fifa's world cup just because it was a good price for July 2018 and this particular event - a lot of the hotels were sold out and the ones available were REALLY expensive. Having said that, the hotel is quite simple, just a place to sleep really. The room was way too hot and the room we stayed at was moldy. Having said that, the building itself was interesting because it was a historical housing building that was totally transformed into a commercial building after the Perestroika times. So, if you want to have an experience similar to be around in such a place, it's a good spot to stay at. Metro is 5 minutes walk and it's location is not that bad.

• andreip446 (8/5): Good Value (Once One Finds Her Way There) - A good location just a few blocks away from New Arbat, US embassy and a 20-minute walk from Red Square. It was hard to find the office at night and, then, rooms, located in different wings of the 19th-century building. My two-bed room was modern and, also, a shared bathroom could be cleaner this hotel suited well to spend a night.

Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sauber und als ich ein Problem mit meinem Zimmer hatte, wurde mir direkt ein neues in einer besseren Kategorie gegeben. Es gab wirklich nichts zu beanstanden!

• issamkassabieh (8/5): Great Value for Money - This hotel has a dorm feel which reminded me of my days at college. The service is superb, very professional and courteous. The rooms are small but clean and organized to maximize functionality. The location is great and close to plenty of restaurants that fall on the old and new arbat streets. The only downside was the shared bathroom.

Минусы: номер с удобствами ну оооочень маленький и очень мало освещения, также он плохо проветривается, если летом можно открыть окно, то как там зимой - не представляю. При уборке не пополняют гель для душа и шампунь, хотя казалось бы я там не 1 ночь живу. Ну и тонкие стены, я знал об этом заранее, но это наверное самые тонкие стены за всю мою жизнь, приходилось в номере разговаривать шепотом, чтобы не мешать соседям. В целом за свои деньги в данном районе хорошо, если вам принципиально месторасположение. Но возвращаться не хочется.

• Jerrit (6/5): Bodenständiges Hotel bei dem Preis Leistung stimmt - Das Hotel liegt ein bisschen versteckt im Hinterhof. Rezeption und Zimmer sind in zwei unterschiedlichen Gebäuden. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren kompetent, auch englisch war kein Problem. Die Zimmer sind nur mit Bett Tisch und TV ausgestattet, alles in gutem Zustand und sauber. Es gibt auf dem Flur eine Küchenzeile die von allen Gästen genutzt werden kann und kleine zweckmäßige Badezimmer. Da die allgemeinen Bereiche viel genutzt werden, könnten diese etwas sauberer sein. Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage. Restaurants und Bars sind fußläufig, Bushaltestelle ist gegenüber und Metrostation 5 Minuten. Für wenig Geld kann man hier gut auf einem Wochenendetrip einkehren.

• richardrX7150XV (8/5): Basic hotel, cheap, central location, no frills - We stayed here only for a day and it was adequate. The picture of the hotel is just where the "front office" is located. It is not the main hotel. The rooms are in a different part of the building to the side It was basic no frills, (our room had a shared bathroom/shower). I would stay here again probably only because it was very central and cheap (Dec. prices)
• 155jaredp (4/5): Average hotel, lacking excellent customer service. Read review. - No breakfast on site/ pricey for what you get. Staff was not proactive in addressing an issue. They preferred to lose business and send us to another hotel than address the issue. The issue was the previous hotel we stayed at did not provide us registration cards in the country (not their fault). When we were told we needed them they called the previous hotel and requested them. When we left they were fairly sure that they would send it. However, we left for the day and got their later only to find out they canceled our booking. Booking.com sent us a cancellation stating credit card declined. However, when we got to the hotel, they told us it was because the other hotel did not send the registration. I requested they call again and they did. They could have been more proactive during the day so that they could check us in. I ended up having to call booking.com to resolve the issue with the other hotel. We had to wait around 3 hours to check in and get to bed after a long day. It was unpleasant. I don't totally blame this hotel for the other one's mistake, but they could have tried harder. The bedroom was never cleaned and the bed was never made during our three day stay. Shower was a little small. We picked the hotel based on the location and rating. The hotel they were going to send us to was quite a way out of what we had planned for.

You'll get here: - Stunning service at reception - Clean and spacious rooms (I picked the one with bathroom) - Breakfast delivery for very nice price (considering it's Moscow) - Good location (about 10 mins to Subway on foot) - Kitchen where you can make tea/coffee for free - Free Wi-Fi - Enough sockets to charge your devices All in all, everything that business tourist would need in his suite. I enjoyed staying here and glad to advise that hostel to you.

Pro: great location - near metro station, Arbat, and walk distance from the Red Square; great deal on the breakfast at the café next door; nice remodel in the room. Cons: the windows go into the patio where was ongoing construction, hence the noise and workers right at the window; the double-bed room is so tiny, you open the suitcase and can't move around, and two separate comforters on a queen-size bed!? also, the drain in the shower didn't work properly so you'll stand ankle-deep in water - not cool. It's a decent place.

• KateLeet (6/5): price is good - Two good things - low price and great location. Also it is clean. I don't really like the fact that it was pretty noisy because of the thin walls but the rest of the exprerience was ok. If you are on a budget it will be the perfect place for you to stay bacause it's in the centre and it's comfortable, no-no, it's very comfortable for it's price. They have a variety of rooms for different prices which is also very nice. And another advantage is that there are single rooms which is awsome if travel alone and do not want to overpay for a standard room for two.

• O1454XBtom_k (8/5): Cheap and nice hostel - We were staying only for one night and wanted to be near old Arbat street. Stuff was really nice and helpful. Room was clean and quiet even with TV and good free WiFi connection. Showers, kitchen toilets was clean even everything looks small it was comfortable. Really good combination of cheap price and location. When I will go next time to Moscow I will definitely consider this hostel for my stay. One small problem was to find reception at first time. Just go little further into courtyard and you will find it.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Хорошо в целом, но холодно в частности - Мне в целом понравился отель. Очень удобен для тех, кто едет специально по делам, связанным с посещением посольства США. Оно буквально в двух шагах. В целом все устроило, персонал доброжелательный, можно оставить (бесплатно) вещи до поезда после выписки из отеля. Рано утром меня разбудили по моей просьбе (чтобы продублировать свой будильник в телефоне, попросила портье). В соседнем доме небольшой продуктовый магазин, это удобно. Метро довольно близко, можно с вещами дойти пешком по хорошо освещенным улицам. Двор внутренний довольно глубокий, но не "страшный", хотя хотелось бы побольше освещения: все-таки многие едут с важными документами и деньгами в чемоданах. Из минусов. Проблемы с горячей водой. При входе висит объявление с извинениями за какой-то резервный или еще какой-то там режим горячего водообеспечения. Поняла, что это такое, только утром, когда пришлось мыть голову холодной водой : ( А ночью проснулась от холода: не работали батареи. Экономия или что? Это был конец октября, везде уже давно топили. Дни стояли с мокрым снегом и ветром. Накинула на одеяло свое пальто. В целом нормально, если не попадетесь в мороз на экономию горячей воды. Номер у меня был минимального размера, но с санузлом в номере. Цена высоковата, но для центра Москвы, наверное, более или менее.

Единственный минус, в котором и винить кроме меня некого-в номере не было окна)) я заранее прочитав, что"вида из номера нет", решила, что просто вид во двор, не интересный))) так что если ваш сосед по этажу на ночь приготовит сосиски, то заснете вы под запах сосисок))) вернусь еще раз сюда обязательно, только возьму номер с окном (т.е. с видом)))

• utkutezel (8/5): Price/quality ratio is almost 1 - First of all, I think the most important thing is the attitude of the workers towards customers. In this hotel, all the workers were so kind and always smiling, it makes you feel much better. The rooms and the beds are quiet comfortable and clean. Moreover it's very close to arbat streets and смоленская metro station. To conclude, I can clearly say that hotel people is very feasible to stay in if you are looking for a cheap and comfortable place.
• staceybL1024KQ (8/5): Would recommend. - Stayed here for 2 night's in room 19 on the first floor. We arrived at 2230 hours and came to a locked grey reception door, to the right of that is a glass door, we rang the buzzer and got checked in straight away. Room was comfy and clean, the window lock was broken so to avoid traffic noise we had to put a bag against it to keep it closed but that was fine. Showers were small but powerful and easy use of iron/board. 15 min walk into the centre. For the money - would recommend.

• Nobuko (8/5): 親切なホテル - 部屋にキッチンがついているということで、リザーブしたのですが、キッチンはなく、部屋のそとのスキッチンがあるということで、予約したのですが、部屋の外のスペースに小さな洗い場と電子レンジがあるだけでした。部屋には冷蔵庫があったのは助かりました。部屋は、スタイリッシュに機能的に設計されており、バスルームが広々としていたのがよかったです。毎日お掃除をしてくれ、寝具も取り替えてくれ、メードさんも、受付の方たちも、とても親切でした。クーラーはついていなかったですが、窓が広く、開けられたので、よかったです。中庭にねこがたくさんいたのが、ねこ狂の私には感激でした！　キッチンのことを除けば、総合的にはいいホテルだったと思います。

• Stojan (8/5): Preis-Leistungsverhältniss ist hervorragend ! - Das Hotel befindet sich zwar in einem Hinterhof und von außen ist es nicht besonders einladent, aber dafür günstig und Ideal für eine kurze Städtereise, die Zimmer sind zwar sehr Sauber sowie das Bad aber dafür auch sehr klein. Vom vorteil ist es auch das es ruhig ist, obwohl nur weniger Meter weiter sich eine 8 Spurige Straße befinden. Das Personal war auch sehr nett und Hilfsbereit, es gibt auch die möglichkeit nach dem Check-Out sein Gepäck an der Rezepetion zu lassen. Wenn man nicht viel auf Comfort und Luxus setzt dann ist dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, das der Preis für Moskau wirklich günstig ist.
• EDWARD (10/5): Excellent review - I did enjoy my stay at Hotel People,with every comfort you could need, and the staff were very helpful indeed. It is in a new apartment set behind the façade of a beautiful old building in a bustling area of Moscow, which made it a very interesting place to stay.
• Dmitry (10/5): Отличный отель/хостел в удобном месте - Отличное местоположение. Легко найти. В пешей доступности продуктовые магазины, кафе/рестораны. До посольства США, Дома Правительства, Арбата и пр. вполне можно дойти пешком. Рядом есть метро и этим всё сказано. Не могу говорить за все номера, но моему номеру явно не хватало уборки пылесосом (в углах было грязно, на покрывале остались явные признаки присутствия жившей до меня девушки), хотя в целом. повторюсь, довольно чисто, в т.ч. в общих зонах. Также отелю/хостелу я бы рекомендовал предупреждать о размерах кроватей (или вернее спального места), т.к. в моём номере человек ростом от 185 см. и выше явно было бы спать не комфортно. Были проблемы с чайником, но судя по реакции руководства на замечание по этому поводу, всё будет решено быстро - чайник сменят. Персонал в целом отзывчивый и порядочный, цены демократичные, а уровень комфорта и уюта в целом соответствуют ценовой политике отеля.
• Nigel (6/5): It's a hostel, and as such, is perfect. - If you're looking for a classy hotel, look elsewhere. But if you're interested in a cheap, clean and friendly place to stay in the middle of Moscow (with decent internet connection), then this place couldn't be better. The outdoor temperature was -5C, but I never felt the cold at all. Lovely little place, and I recommend it. Someone was on reception round the clock and everyone spoke perfect English. Great stuff.

• Verified traveler (8/5): bbbbbbbb - Sauberkeit war nicht so perfekt.Als ich habe gefragt,dass Zimmermädchen mein Zimmer sauber soll machen mit Staubsauger,weil im Zimmer viel Pulver gewesen und nur mit Besen mann kann nicht richtig sauber machen,sie sagte,dass es gibt kein Staubsauger im ganzen Hotel.Das fand ich sehr komisch.Personal freundlich gewesen.Nicht weidweg von Bahnhof,etwas 10 min zu Fuss.Ich wurde gern noch mall kommen,falls ich brauche für 1-2 tage nach Moskow kommen

• Ian Van der Werf (10/5): Buena ubicacion, como y buen servicio. - Bastante cómoda la estancia. Cómodo, buena ubicación y muy buena disposición por parte del personal. Lo único malo es que hacen la habitación cada 3 días (Cambio de sabanas y toallas). Aparte de eso, muy buena experiencia.

• Averbuch (6/5): I expected something better - The reception is aparted from the rooms. It means that if you arrive when is raining or snowing, after check-in, you must carry your luggage under rain (or snow) until reach the room. The hotel is located inside a set of buildings in such way that if you call a taxi it does not enter to reach the hotel, so you must go to the sidewalk to reach the taxi (carrying your luggage, eventually). The hotel requires payment in advance (what is not mentioned when you make the reservation). They require a deposit of 500 rublos as a guarantee for the key (it's also not mentioned when you make the reservation). There's no lift or ar conditioning. Wi-fi (free) is not the very best. There's a small fridge in the room what is good, at least to have some cold drink at night (since is almost impossible to find it in Russia, as well in Eastern Europe, even in the hottest days). Location is ok, close to Smolenskaya metro station. Not far, is possible to find at Novinsky Blvd. a supermarket, two places to change money, a French style patisserie, some restaurants and the traditional Arbat St. Even the Red Square is not far (two metro stops ahead). In you room you find the information that rooms are cleaned daily and linens changed each three days. I stayed 4 nights and there was no cleaning and linens and towels were not changed as well. Shower is good but there was some leak, in such way that after 3 minutes, I could realize that a small flood was happening in the room, so be quick in your shower.... By the way, room and bathroom are really tiny. When you seat in the vase, your legs stay outside the bathroom.... The bed and the mattress seem to be for military use, with some metalic framework in both. You can feel the metal of the mattress in your back. No breakfast is available. Price, considering what is charged in Moscow, may be reasonable, but the accomodations are for backpackers who are not so demanding. I would not stay there again.
• Alexander (10/5): Good for the Money - Definitely, I could find better hotel for the same price somewhere in Cancun or Hawaii, but this is Moscow where everything is very expensive. This hotel is good for the money you pay. I don't think that you'll be able to find something better in Moscow for the same price. Several times, I've been on the phone with their personnel. Even though it's rude Russia, personnel was very professional. I was really glad to chat with them.
• Justin (8/5): Solid, quasi-hostel - This is basically a hostel. There is a "hotel" section that has private rooms and shared kitchen and bath that they call a hotel. It's a good location and cheap. Matresses are thin, walls are thin, rooms small, but it is clean and convenient for budget travelers. One gripe: the maids and some other women that work there use the shared kitchen as their salon. They enjoyed 2-hour lunches and regular tea there with loud conversation, so if you're trying to sleep in, make your own lunch or do work there, forget it.
• Jim (10/5): Simple room at a good price near the US Embassy - We had to visit the US Embassy in Moscow and found this hotel online simply because it was near the embassy. It is located just steps from the embassy and not far from 3 metro stations, so it's hard to be the location. The prices are great for downtown Moscow so we decided to give it a try. The rooms are very simple, but clean and recently remodeled. The staff was professional and very friendly. Overall, a very good experience.
• Andy (8/5): Helpful staff - The staff were really helpful and welcoming, but some of the other guests were noisy
• Alex (8/5): HoStel - This is a hostel, not a hotel. This means that the place does not meet certain requirements to be a hotel. It is excellent for young people (students) traveling on a relatively tight budget. I picked this place because of its immediate proximity to the US Embassy, which my mother had to visit. She has difficulty walking, so this hostel seemed a good choice. However, this did not work out very well, as the place has no elevators; my mother had to climb extremely steep stairs to the second floor. The rooms were tiny, just enough space for a cot and a side table. They were very clean though. There were two common bathrooms/showers on the second floor, shared by several rooms. There was only one on the third floor. The bathrooms were clean. The second floor also had a kitchen with a fridge, a microwave, and some cups and dishes in the cabinets. This was a place for very noisy gatherings every night. People talked in normal voices until morning and you could hear them in every room. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location is great - only a 10-minute walk to the nearest Metro station; same distance to the legendary Arbat. In conclusion, if you are a student traveling with a bunch of friends, want to see Moscow, have fun, don't care much about sleeping at night or climbing stairs, this is definitely a place to consider. If you want anything above the very basic level of convenience, you should look at other options as well.
• Miles (8/5): Good hostel worth a try - This was a clean and tidy hostel with all you really need. It was quite difficult to find initially, but it was dark when we arrived. The room was cosy and clean and towels were provided. The only downside of the room was that the heating was always on and the only way to get cooler was to open the window, however this was on the ceiling which meant that if it was raining, you may get wet! I could imagine that the rooms would be pretty hot in Summer. The location was good with plenty of dining options around and the subway nearby. Having said that, the Russian subway is quite difficult to work out if you can't read Russian. We walked into Red Square each time and it only took about 30 minutes.
• Pedro (8/5): Hotel People - Excellent value for money. Friendly staff. Superb location. Close to Old and New Arbat Streets. 25-30 minutes walking from Kremlin.
• Steve (10/5): Great location, great price - Great place to stay in. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The location of the place is just great (20 min on foot to red square, 3 major underground lines within 5 min walking distance). The rooms are clean, new and comfortable. A++ great value for money.
