We traveled for almost one day and arriving there with no staff (No customer service service was not a great experience at all) No one to talk to, no one to get answers. (No Human around just a machine) If you are just like me: look for a hotel with customer service.

Close to many historical sites, shopping, and dining. Great price, overall. ** all communication is through email or text. Do not spend on their breakfast service, especially if you’re out and about as a tourist. The shower was the biggest problem in the property, you can’t use both hands because you need one to hold the shower and the shower door blocks half the tub. It is in the center of Rome, so expect noise throughout the night. We didn’t have an elevator, so taking our luggage up and down was a task.

- kelley (8/5): - Location ideal for everything Rome, tucked on mostly quiet side street. Property nicely appointed, very thankful for well functioning a/c during hot June weather. No more noisy than any boutique hotel in a major city. If you need silence all night you may need ear plugs from garbage truck, occasional passerby's talking loudly, but not bad. Felt secure, didn't see anyone else coming or going from building. Space was clean & roomy. Convenient little washer for clothes refresh. Main room darker , bedroom had two windows over alley street-- totally fine as escape from city bustle but close enough to walk 50 feet to Cafe, taxi, grocer, gelato.... Coliseum was 12-15 min walk, fountain 10 min, steps 12 min.... Property was easy to access & communicated checkin instructions well then followed up with what's app communication at check in. Door was a little tricky to learn at first--- it's blue one not silver. Bathroom sink did not drain, luckily had kitchen sink. Could have used another roll of toilet paper. Overall I would choose property again.

Restaurants abound. Spacious 1 bedroom. Plenty of room for 3. Locks are wierd. Have to spin it four times to get the door open.
- Michael (10/5): - Spacious Apartment. Perfect location, walkable to all the sites. Mini Grocery store 50 meters away. I do not recommend getting the breakfast. The restaurant is 3 blocks away and only a few things on the menu are included with the breakfast. It is much easier and better selection to find breakfast on your own. I thought Breakfast would be served on site. Also, easy car service was offered thru Numa and it was perfectly easy. Communication via WhtsApp was esy and clear.

- 468bonnief (8/5): Read this for all the info you may need! - Ok. It’s a set of apartments in an incredibly old building with paper thin walls. You can hear your neighbours up and side but they do supply ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The rooms are basic, tastefully and simply decorated but they have a safe, air conditioning/heater, coffee, lots of water, clean glassware and supply soap, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer etc and the bed and bedding is seriously comfortable. I really had a great two night stay sleep - no lumpy pillows - such a comfy bed. I travelled with my husband and two children and arrived late. There was a manned reception table and the service throughout the stay was excellent. You are sent the code for the front door and your room before you arrive but we had an in person welcome who showed us where we could find more sheets towels, loo roll and coffee should we need it (we didn’t!) We stayed on the first floor which I would suggest requesting if you have accessibility requirements as the lift only goes to first and then you climb marble stairs. You’re in Rome. It’s noisy everywhere including outside the hotel but I slept with the windows open all night without issue and of course the major upside is you are walking distance of EVERYWHERE from this hotel. Breakfast was in a chic cafe a two minute walk from the hotel - the choice of eggs with salad and cheese and bread or crepe with yoghurt and fruit and coffees and juice was a welcome before we set off on our first excursions. I’d recommend il Bacaro for dinner - so close to the hotel and absolutely delicious food. On check out (11am) we spoke to the lady on reception, messaged on WhatsApp to the company to let them know and put our luggage in the coded lockers for the day. We were able to access the hotel and our luggage early evening before our trip home. There is a table and seating area downstairs which we used while we waited for our taxi. Our taxi to the hotel was able to drop at the door (very narrow streets!) and the pick up was a 1 minute walk to the top of the street. All in all, I thought it was a great stay if you want easy access to all the sights and a comfy bed to fall into at night after thousands of steps. It’s not a luxury hotel - it is basic apartments but I think they make the very best of it and I was very happy with our choice and hope you will be too!
- Charles (10/5): - Location is very good and within walking distance of most historical things to see including the Colleseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon. It can be a little noisy during the day and early evening, ear plugs are provided. But that is to be expected since you're in central Rome.
- Pamela (8/5): - The elevator of the building is really small. My family and I had a lot of luggage, and there were a few stairs (up and down, and up again) to get to our room. The apartment was very clean and space was great for family of 5(all adults). Appliances could have been better since there was no microwave in our room. Communication with host/administrator was great.

- Jennifer (10/5): - Sept 2024- we stayed in the apartment with balcony. The room was spacious for Italian standards and was well designed and very clean. Typical of most Italian places the route to the get to the room from the elevator was interesting and you had to weave around up and down steps with the luggage. Loved having a washer in our room and a balcony though the view is not appealing. It is very loud and you hear police and ambulances all night but you are in the center of Rome. Was impressed with all the little extras they thought of like ear plugs laundry detergent etc. there is no one onsite so that can be challenging if you have a problem but they were very responsive via messaging. I loved being so central to everything to walk.

- Y454DJbriane (10/5): Great location but noisy at night. Great space for a family of four. - Great location, two-block walk to Pantheon, lots of cafes and restaurants in area. We walked most places but took taxis to the Vatican. Busy Main Street is just one block away, making finding a called cab reasonably easy. This flat had the best space and layout we stayed in during our travels in Italy, and while the washer and dryer were upstairs in a common area, they were by far the fastest we had on this trip, so a real plus for our family of four. This location is noisy at night, especially in the bedroom as the nearby construction continued at night. I thought it strange that there were provide ear plugs, but soon decided they were necessary. No elevator, but it was an easy but tight set of stairs to the apartment. Staff was present and courteous but we didn’t need anything during our stay, especially when we found the extra espresso pods in the laundry room. We did not cook at all during this stay, so I cannot comment much on the kitchen. The provided espresso machine and pods were appreciated.

They also provided earplugs which was thoughtful since it's located a loud and high traffic area. Location was very convenient and walkable. Trevi Fountain was 7min walk, and colosseum was 15min walk. Great restaurants nearby (even non-tourist trap ones)

Everything needs to be accessed via the central elevator on the main floor, which makes it inconvenient when there is a lot of foot traffic in the building. Not recommended for large groups, only couples or small families. Rooms were clean and tidy. Check in process has its limits as there were no live staff on-site to troubleshoot issues. One communal dryer was available - if washing clothing, plan to hang dry them.

- C9774OTwendyh (2/5): Most disappointing stay ever - My friend and I chose this hotel on our first day when we arrived in Italy—— after a long-haul flight, expecting a comfortable retreat. Regrettably, the reality shattered our hopeful anticipation. Right from check-in, our experience nosedived into a series of letdowns. The very first day unmasked a glaring issue—the bathroom offered only scalding hot water, rendering it utterly unusable. This oversight was inconceivable. Upon alerting the hotel staff, their response was disheartening. They claimed no availability of alternative rooms and it was not possible to send a worker to us because it was Saturday night, forcing us to confront the impracticality of having no access to basic bathing facilities after a wearying day of travel.We were forced to go to sleep even when we desperately wanted to shower. No doubt, we also have to go traveling the next day un-showered. While we were visiting the beautiful Vatican city, we were forced to waste our precious time to communicate with the customer service to deal with the problem. Only on the second night we were able to switch to another room, enduring further inconvenience as our luggage remained trapped in the previous room, necessitating additional time wasted seeking customer service assistance. Initially offered a mere 15% discount for the first night’s inconvenience, the compensation increased to 25% after vehemently expressing our dissatisfaction. While staff members expressed empathy, their attempts at compensation lacked sincerity and failed to acknowledge the depth of our inconvenience. The compensation is not sufficient given the extent of the inconvenience. This experience eclipsed what should have been an enjoyable trip, leaving us profoundly disheartened. This hotel experience was utterly disappointing and left us incredulous. In all my previous travels, I’ve never ever encountered such abysmal conditions. This undeniably ranks as the most disappointing hotel experience I've ever encountered.

- J703WBmikep (4/5): Stay Clear! - We are just back from a 3 night stay at the The Numa Apartments in Rome, the apartments are quite nice, clean and in a good location, the WIFI signal was poor and the TV didn't work, we were notified of the poor WIFI 2 days prior to arrival. On arrival we couldn't enter the building the passcode we were sent didn't work, this issue was fixed over WHATS App with someone many miles away. What lets the Numa Apartments down at the moment is the fact there is building work being carried both within the block and to the adjacent block of flats, if you want to get woken up at 7am each morning with jack hammers then this is the place for you, if not stay well clear until the works have been completed. There was a note left in the room on arrival to apologise for the lack of a WIFI TV, and the noise and clutter with a promise of a 25% discount the next time we book as compensation, it would have been better if they had just made there customers aware prior to booking.

- Jerah (6/5): - The property was modern in style and conveniently located to Rome's major attractions. The room was spacious and offered the essential amenities. Unfortunately the idea of having contactless check-in and no reception, with no access to someone when something goes wrong, turned out to be a major problem. When we arrived the toilet was not functioning properly. It would keep running. Eventually it would stop... until it didn't stop at all anymore. Long way of saying we didn't have a toilet and the remote staff didn't care. It broke for good around 7:30pm, we noticed before bed, and they said they'd send someone early the next morning. They didn't. It took way too much work to get them to resolve a common problem that a hotel with better service would have quickly resolved.

Lucky for us, we travel frequently and can found different accommodations (nicer) quickly, but for those who do not travel internationally can be caught in a jam with no help.
- laurabY9144CS (2/5): WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN 30 YEARS! - HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE -STAY AWAY FROM NUMA HOTELS - Cancelled my booking as my flight was landing. Moved me to a hotel outside of the city and then made me move back the next day losing half a day of vacation. And even worse, was told no luggage lockers as the hotel but there were! So wasted time and money storing our luggage since we had to check out of the first location. And no one to talk to about issues - not front desk, no phone number - you can only communicate through the app. Worst hotel stay in 30 years. I will NEVER book another Numa hotel. There is no one in Italy to provide support - there customer service was in Germany. DON"T STAY HERE! And it was crazy loud at night when the bars let ou.

- Leigh Ann (10/5): Awesome place to stay in Rome - We had such a good experience here. Great communication at all times. Had a little trouble getting in at first. (turn the small dark knob that lights up after you enter your code - not the silver one) Apartment was spacious, clean and a great place to come back to after a hot day walking around the city. AC worked great. Beds were comfy and all other amenities were great. Loved the fact that we had 1.5 bathrooms. Our apt (205) also had a washer which was a plus. The configuration to get to our place was a little weird (take lift up and then stairs down, but we got used to it). Great location in the city and we felt very safe. Lots of other good amenities like lockers you could rent if needed etc.

I will say I was disappointed that upon arrival was told my apartment would not be available. So, I don't know what I missed out on. However, the refund as compensation was a really nice touch as far as trying to make it right. I would say, as a new arrival, try to give a little more heads up. Other than that, again, the service was wonderful and the complex and apartment was clean, quite, comfortable and I would recommend you. Scott Mikus
- Paradise56680759785 (2/5): Can't trust a CONFIRMED booking. - We had booked a 4 night break over the May half-term with our two children, through Expedia. The hotel had CONFIRMED the booking. Then after arriving at Gatwick Airport going through airport security and passport control an hour before boarding the plane. We recieved an email from Expedia that the hotel was not honoring our confirmed booking. No explanation.

- David (2/5): No hot water for showers. Stay away. - We went on a trip to Rome with the family. Our review of the hotel is consistent with other patrons… stay away. Pros: 1. Centrally located to the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, and other historic sites. 2. Spacious interior with kitchen to accommodate a family. 3. There is a common washer/dryer area to help with laundry for extended vacations. Cons: 1. There is lack of adequate HOT water = 1 person can shower every 2 hours. Showers must be limited to 3 minutes or less. Yes, we had to time our showers. Don’t use the faucet if someone is showering. You won’t be able to shower unless you split it up between morning and nighttime. 2. The hotel is in an alley with no street facing entrance. The taxi driver was very hesitant to go down the alley. 3. Because it is in an alley, restaurant workers are smoking below you so you cannot open your windows for ventilation or cool air. 4. Because it is in an alley, trash and garbage is piled up at the entrance to the hotel 5. The apartment/hotel is a maze. No clear map of how to get around the complex. If there was a fire, we would all have died because the stairwell is difficult to find. 6. The worst part is that there is no front desk reception. Because of this, all communication is done through What’s App. They are not responsive to issues that may come up. They ignored our HOT water problem and insisted that HOT water replenishes in 30 minutes. They supposedly sent someone 2 days later and said everything is fine. It was not fixed.

- Rachel (10/5): Really loved this place! - I loved this stay. It was like a hotel without hassle. I liked that I could check in online before my trip and the checkout was super easy too. The location was perfect! Near all the sites but off on a quiet street. The beds were super comfortable and I really liked the space we had. Everything was just really easy. The only thing I didn't care for was the breakfast. It was very basic, down the street and we were all still hungry afterwards. After this experience, I'm definitely looking into their other properties!

We ordered breakfast, thinking that it would be offered in the property. But instead, it was in a close by restaurant, which defeated the purpose of convenience in the morning. This should be explained at the time when we had to choose during booking.

This is a better option for light travelers than for families or travelers with heavy luggage. The space for keeping your luggage in case of early arrival is super limited. Communication is not that fast and easy because is contactless via WhatsApp.

- Ekasspi (2/5): BEWARE ROOM 203 + Happy(ish) ending? - We’re writing this detailed review about Numa Vici, since we wish we had read such a review before reserving a room there. First thing to know about Numa Vici is that it doesn’t have a physical front desk or reception. Rather, they have a remote customer assistance via email, phone or Whatsapp. You receive a code to open the hotel’s front door as well as your room. We had a terrible experience with this hotel and especially with room 203, which the hotel calls "Deluxe Living with Bathtub". Do not be fooled by the nice photos online. We paid a lot of money for the room, and found that the only good thing with it is that it's big and spacious. However, there were 3 major issues with it: ACCESSIBILITY: As we arrived with a baby and heavy luggage, we asked for a room that is accessible by elevator. We were told that rooms are assigned automatically, so they don’t really know what room we’ll get (which was really strange). Well, we got room 203, and it is most definitely NOT accessible. The elevator is tiny and so very slow, and in order to get to the room you have to go to the 1st floor, then climb 2 flights of stairs - one of them narrow and winding. An absolute nightmare for carrying luggage or a stroller. The hotel advertises its options for extended stays, but even though room 203 is large enough for such a stay, it is a terrible choice accessibility-wise. BTW this is true for rooms 202 to 205 (see the sign posted inside the elevator, which I took a photo of). CLEANLINESS: The room looked clean when we first entered, but then we began finding long hairs and dirt. Neither of us has long hair. The hotel was kind enough to supply us with a complementary cot for the baby, but its legs were filled with long hairs and grime. We had to go over the entire floor with baby wipes. We even sent pictures of the dirty wipes to customer service, so they would believe us. NOISE: The room's windows are small and there is no view, however the windows do let in ALL of the noise from the street, and the street is noisy - at night it is simply unbearable. We woke up numerous times in the middle of the night from people talking, yelling and singing right outside our window. We're talking 2am, 4am etc. There is literally no soundproofing, and the noise kept us - and the baby - up at night. We couldn't sleep, and this ruined our stay and our trip. The remote customer service did respond quickly. They apologized and tried to help, but there were things they couldn't change - such as the horrendous noise and the lack of soundproofing. After 2 sleepless nights we asked to be moved so at least we could have a decent night’s sleep during our final night there. The hotel moved us to room 401, which was much smaller, but at least had access right from the elevator, and its windows are soundproof. Then, on our check-out day we went out for a stroll only to come back and find that our code was already canceled. Remember - no front desk, and no one to talk to directly. We spent about 20 sweaty and stressful minutes trying to get back to our room, with the remote customer service giving us alternative codes which simply didn’t work. We ended up feeling deeply disappointed - and tired and angry - especially after having spent so much money on this hotel. After some terse words with Customer Service, they agreed to provide some compensation, which was nice since it meant that they acknowledged our distress. However, since the main problems with this hotel (namely: accessibility, noise and remote service) won’t be changing any time soon, our recommendation is: choose a different hotel, and in any case DO NOT CHOOSE ROOM 203.
- Nick (10/5): - The interior architecture has wonderful charm and finishes. My family of 4 had enough space and probably could have stayed an additional 3 days before starting to feel on top of each other. We didn't use the kitchen but we would have if we were there for a longer period. The only negative is that the hot water tank is very small. Once one person takes a normal length shower you have to wait for it to replenish. They told us it would take about 30 minutes but I think that's optimistic. Plan accordingly and watch the gauge on the side of the tank to read full before attempting another shower. There are 8 lockers you can use on a first come basis to store your luggage. They will accommodate a large suitcase but not much more. Very handy for seeing the sights on the day you check out and not have to haul your stuff with you.

- Tzuf3 (6/5): Numa Vici Apartments - There's no elevator in the building, which can be a bit problematic if you're full of bags. The room was very small, but the shower room was big enough and very convenient. No sofas, one chair and not enough place to move in general. Appropriate only if you're planning to be outside most of the day. The place is located on Venezia square, and very close to all parts of Rome in general, which is great.

- 533in_ss (2/5): Be aware! SCAM!! - I made a reservation on this hotel on agoda.com for my mother’s birthday. Our family (including an one years old child), decided to meet up in Rome for celebrations. After booking (and paying for my stay!) I sent a couple of messages via agoda.com asking some questions about the property, as I wanted everything to be perfect. No body answered. Then I tryed to contact the hotel via email - no one answered again. Then, I texted via WhatsApp and Instagram and called. They kept ignoring my messages and not answering my calls. Then I realised that the hotel has been removed from booking.com. I came to tripadvisor and I saw the last review, about this hotel being a scam (is closed and they will rebook you to another hotel, at short notice from your trip). So at 5 days from my trip I cancelled my stay (thank god I had this opinion), and Now I am looking for another place to stay! THIS IS A TOTALLY SCAMMY ATTITUDE. If they want us to stay in another place, they could just answer all my texts and emails and phone calls and tell me in advance, so I could made a decision! BUT NO! THEY WILL WAIT TILL LAST MINUTE SO YOU HAVE NO OPTION RATHER STAY WITH THEM! Totally shame on! Don’t stay here!
- 118yuril (2/5): Watch out, scam! - This hotel is a scam. They let you book via booking.com or other sites and info you 24h before that the hotel is closed. Then they rebook you to a recently reopened hotel by the same group in another part of town (The Tribune) where they seem to have problems attracting guests.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The stay was very inconvenient, as the front door is always locked and you have to ring the doorbell to get someone to open it for you which was forever. Especially at night when it was not safe and you didn't know if anyone is going to open the front door. Also the front desk was very rude. Attempted to steal my passport and tried to blame the customer when asked to return it.

So there are no uninvited visitors. Clean rooms and spacious rooms. All day coffee which was pretty awesome. Definitely stay here again!
- johnrL7864GP (2/5): Spoilt a special break - We booked and paidd for the Telegraph Suites well in advance to coincide with Valentine's day and my wife's birthday. The location was critical as we wanted everything within walking distance as we had booked a number of other attractions. We were advised, without explanation, 24 hours before departure that our booking was cancelled and alternative accommodation had been arranged with another hotel in a less convenient area. The lack of explanation was unacceptable and unprofessional. Not recommended.
- P2003UQguyb (6/5): Great location, third bed was too small. - 3 of us stayed here for 3 nights. The 3rd bed was nothing more than a cot and was very uncomfortable. I am not tall but my feet still hit the steel at the end of the 'cot'. I can not recommend this for more than 2 people. The primary bed was fine. Staff was very very good and friendly. WiFi was average, the reception was great as there was an access point in the room, but the upstream bandwidth limited most streaming to low quality. No view from our room on the 3rd floor Water pressure was not great, but better than others we have experienced on our trip. At least it got hot which was great. The room struggled to get warm (late Dec) but once warm it was able to stay warm with all heaters on full. Rooms came with a free phone you can use as a hotpot and take on the road with you. We didn't need or use it, but it would be great if you don't have data while there.It also has tourist features which we didn't use as we knew where we were going and doing. Nothing more than lace on blinds on the windows meant there was no way to stop light from hitting you in the morning and noise from the surrounds streets definitely can be heard. As we were there for New Years Eve, the noise kept us up well up to 3am. Free hot drink machine on level 3 (Coffee, hot chocolate) Room was very quaint in itself, if they improved on the light, heating and street noise it would be absolutely fantastic for 2 people.
- rram_n (8/5): Brilliant location and rooms - This hotel is in a brilliant location and has the biggest rooms that I have seen in a major European city at these prices. We had a suite with a pullout bed in the hall and a queens bed in the bedroom. It was ideal for our family of 3. All the major tourist sites are a 20-30 minutewalk away. It took us 40 minutes to get here from the airport. The main train station is 15 mins away by car. The hotel staff are warm and very efficient. They are very pleasant to deal with and are very prompt with any help or suggestions.

- heymckate (6/5): Great location, but overall just an okay stay. - The great thing about this hotel: The location is absolutely fantastic. You can't beat how close it is to a lot of great areas and attractions, including the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Colosseum. In addition, the staff are all friendly and the room was very clean. What I hated: When you leave the hotel for the day, you are supposed to give your key to the front desk person. That's fine... unless you come back at 12:15 a.m. and no one is at the front desk, the front door is locked, and they're not answering the phone or the doorbell. It took 15 minutes of standing outside before the person manning the front desk returned, by which point I was panicking. They really should have put a sign on the door saying "back in 15 minutes" or invest in a cordless phone the person can take with when doing other duties. This incident really soured the remainder of our stay. What I didn't like: The window in our room only had sheer curtains, but there was a bright light shining just outside it. Blackout curtains would have been nice: What wasn't a huge deal, but still worth noting: There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room, and the shower was insanely tiny and leaked (and yes, I get that small spaces in Europe require tiny showers, but the bathroom was actually HUGE... could have fit something slightly larger). Overall, it was okay, but if I ever go to Rome again, I'll look elsewhere for a place to stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolute gem in a quiet lane amongst the organised beautiful chaos that is Roma! We loved our stay we booked the luxury suite it was huge the bed was amazing! We enjoyed our dinner every night out on the communal private terrace as we relaxed after a busy day exploring. Our rooms were cleaned daily and left in perfect condition. This great place is literally 10 min walk to everything. Promise me one thing if you stay here you have to go and have a drink at Bar Brasile and say hi to Mario the singing waiter! You get what you pay for here yea it’s a bit more expensive but it’s all about the experience!
- Leahrenecat (8/5): Birthday Trip - My mom and I stayed here for our mother daughter trip to Italy on 9/12/19. This was literally the greatest foreign hotel experience I have ever had! The hotel was close to alllll that we needed. Just minutes from the trevi fountain, good locations in all directions, great staff, although one staff member left the desk late one night and it took him forever to get back. We were stuck outside till a couple came and had a door key thankfully. But other than that it was great! All the amenities were available the coffee machine was my favorite and the phone they gave us to use while exploring Italy was a HUGE plus. The rooms were a great size, clean bathrooms, all the supplies for the kitchen if you wanted to cook yourself. It is ducked off in the alley so it was a bit difficult for us to find, but the alleyway was well lit and we didn’t feel unsafe in any way. Overall an outstanding experience. I will definitely be returning to this hotel every time I’m in Rome.

About the room, we were 5 and works very very good. The only little bad thing is that it only have 1 bathroom.

There are like 20 others around the same area which will be better. What a waste of my money.!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a great place for my husband and me, our children, and my parents. We rented two rooms. One was very sleek and modern, the other had beam ceilings and a velvet chaise. Both were very clean and outfitted with every modern amenity we could want, as well as some surprises like refrigerators stocked with eggs, milk, and yogurt as well as bread, pastries, jellies, and Nutella so we could recover from our jet lag slowly with breakfast in our rooms (both outfitted with a kitchette). The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke good English. They carried our luggage to our rooms and arranged transportation for us to the port for our cruise. There was a lovely outside patio that was a nice place to sit with an espresso in the morning (there was a machine in the hallway right outside our door) and a glass of wine in the evening. However, the most spectacular quality of this property is its location-- easy walking distance to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Venezia, and right on the bus line to the Vatican. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
