• Saskia (8/5): - Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Zimmer sind sauber und ausreichend eingerichtet. Da man in einer Stadt, wie Istanbul, sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, völlig ausreichend. Frühstück ist nicht der Hit, aber für das Preis Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung Das Hotel ist allerdings ist sehr hellhörig, wir hatten unser Zimmer im ersten Stock direkt am Treppenhaus. Somit Beschallung von anderen Gästen und der Straße. Aber es gibt schlimmeres ;)

Завтрак обильный, Персонал вежливый Не понравилось то, что каждые 6-30 утра под номером включали какой-то агрегат, который сильно вибрировал и шумел. Это очень мешало утреннему сну.

• Don (4/5): 2 Stars... at best - The location of the Ayasultan Hotel is perfect! Right in the middle of everything. 5 minutes to everything and lots of great restaurants right out the door. The staff were excellent. This us definitely a 2 star hotel at best. Online photos werevery deceptive. White duct tape on the bottom few inches of bathroom doors. Fixtures falling spart. 16" TV from the 90's. A/C did not work in one room, had to change. The annex building sits directly above a very noisy restaurant alley. The Best Western Bentley was around the corner for the same price.

Decent breakfast (Turkish) options, have to get there early to get the fresh fruit. Room spelt like sewerage, had no view ( facing the wall of another building ). • Diana (10/5): A most enjoyable place to stay. - The staff were all very helpfull and attentive. There is a comfortable lounge in which we enjoyed complementary Turkish tea. The steps into the hotel were challenging but there was always a helping hand for those who needed it. The breakfast was good and varied daily. The location was excellent. Within walking distance of the main attractions in Istanbul and the T1 tram if you wanted to go further afield (which we did). Several good restaurants nearby. Vehicle access to the hotel is prohibited between 10am and 6pm. We had to change the time of our taxi to the airport to 9.50am.

They provided very good tips of where to go to enjoy the best of what Istanbul has to offer, as well as things to watch out for. Sound proofing from other guests could be better, but you did not have any noise from the street.

The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help whenever needed. The breakfast had a decent variety of options and everything was full of taste and fresh. A special mention to Abdul Qadir, who was an amazing host and made the experience even better with his kindness and hospitality. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would definitely visit again in the future.

We were given a room facing inwards so it was very quiet even though we're very near the tram line and the blue Mosque.
