- DenissL (10/5): Small and quite hotel close to the city center - Good hotel with breakfast near the city centre. Quite enough room, friendly service. The room is very compact, but it is ok to just sleep and spend the whole day outside. There are some Cafe and stores around. They have a breakfast, which is a big advantage of this category of hotels. The room is very well equipped with all the necessary stuff for a stay. Nothing to mention, it fully match the prices and our expectations.

- Stephen (10/5): A pleasant and relaxing stay in central Tokyo - The on-site onsen was very welcome especially after a long day of walking and the free milk drink and ice lollies were a nice bonus too. There were also free noodles in the evening. The staff were friendly and helpful with any queries I had. The location is quite central and situated near a main metro line so it's easy to get around. Plenty of restaurants, super markets and shops nearby if you don't want to travel too far. All in all, a great experience and would definitely stay at a Dormy Inn again. The room was very small but that's what we opted for and the pillows were more firm than I'm used to. Other than that, nothing else really comes to mind.

- Linda (10/5): Terrific Onsen and really good value hotel in a convenient and quiet location - The Onsen was absolutely beautiful, and there were a number of things that went above and beyond expectations. The first was the onsen - it's really beautiful. And there are a number of little extras that you just don't expect. I don't want to ruin these surprises for others but make sure you read the posters in the elevators. Whilst there is no kitchen for guests there is a microwave that you can use to heat food - this is very common in Japan. There is a supermarket that has plenty of fruit and veg and good convenience meals 150 m away. We were there on Sat Sun and Mon. It was so quiet. Some areas of Tokyo are so overwhelming and I'm so glad that we stayed in Hatchobori. It has great train access and the old fish markets and Ginza are walkable. Laundry facilities are excellent. The staff were extremely accommodating with our monstrous amount of ski luggage that we shipped via Black Cat from Hakuba to Tokyo while we were in Kyoto and Nagoya. We had some complications with the bookings of our rooms and my not understanding the different styles when booking. Not a negative but a flag for expectations: The double rooms are cramped for Westerners - it's very common not to have storage space for clothes and luggage in Japanese hotels, so travel as light as possible. The Queen rooms are considerably more spacious and easier to be in, but are still small by Western standards. We'd sent our ski gear off with Black Cat and just travelled with our carry-on luggage. The hotel has on open to the air roof over the middle (this will make sense when you see it). It was really cold when we were there, so this means that you may get cold between your beautiful warm room and the elevator on the upper floors. Our original room on the 5th floor was fine.

The room was dark and uninviting after a long day of exploring or being at Disney, bed was too firm and pillow was very uncomfortable.

I wasn’t a fan of stepping up into the bathroom, or the sensor light in the doorway, but the experience overall was excellent

- Irina (9/5): - It's a second time when we're staying in this hotel. The location is very convenient, there are several subway lines nearby and just one stop from Tokyo Station. The room size is quite standard for Tokyo. We enjoyed indoor and open air onsen. There are not so many people in the mornings and sometimes you can stay here just alone. Also the breakfast is definitely worth to visit. Staff doesn't speak even basic English.

- Agata (4/5): Niestety zawiodłam się - Przyzwoita lokalizacja choć ok 8min do najbliższego metra. Nasze walizki zostały wniesione na górę do pokoju. Fajne gorące źródła. Pokój był niewyobrażalnie mały i okropnie niewygodny. Dla dwóch osób to przesada, nawet dla jednej może być ciężko. Korytarze wyglądają jak w więzieniu.
- Michaella (8/5): Quiet, clean, comfy - I love the women’s side of the onsen. It was beautiful and clean. There were two locations to wash clothes which was very convenient. It was located on the river which on the 12 floor we were able to kinda see from the window. The room was laid out in way that made it hard to find a spot for opening a suitcase. There’s no luggage rack. Instead of having a small table and two stools at the end of the bed, a small bench would have been perfect as it could double as a spot for the suitcase. The station entrance is not far about 10 minutes away. If you are sight seeing it could be a negative. I’ve stayed at almost every Dormy in Tokyo. This is by far the quietest one. There was almost no street noise. That was a HUGE PLUS for us but that also means you’re more far removed from tourist things.
- Yahli (8/5): - Pretty close to hatchobori station and a 20ish minute walk to tokyo station. Located on a riverside so nice view from the room and the dining room. I couldn't use the spa because I have tattoos but my husband said that the men's area is clean and nicely equipped. The night ramen is always a nice touch. The room was cleaned daily and with great care (on day 2 they saw that we both need the large sized pj's so they brought an extra one without us having to ask for it) and we received bottled water daily. It's neat picky but the breakfast was a bit dull and repetitive. We've stayed at numerous dormy inn locations and the breakfasts are usually wonderful and plentiful so it was a bit disappointing. Also the room is a bit small but not very different fron other japanese hotels.

- Anna (8/5): Ideal for visiting onsen - The room we stayed in was quite small, you only had to go in and almost immediately there was a bed) There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom due to the sewage system, presumably, it appeared and then disappeared. The mattress, blankets and pillows were excellent and we slept well that night. The onsen is what we came here for and it is wonderful, moderately hot, you can enjoy it without rushing. Afterwards you can enjoy delicious free ice cream, there are four different flavors. They also give you pajamas in which you can go to the onsen, which is very convenient. There are also bath and shower sets on the reception floor. Great hotel with a wonderful onsen. The rooms are too small, they were probably the smallest of our entire trip to Japan. The first room was for smokers and was completely saturated with the smell of cigarettes, immediately upon opening the door we were greeted by this aroma. Since we are non-smokers, we asked to change our room to a non-smoking one. Such a room was found but it was more expensive and we had to pay extra. Be careful when booking and choosing rooms, as there are two types, for smokers and non-smokers.
