The bathtub is super comfortable. There is minor noise from the street, but it is ok. Staff are also friendly. However, everything outside the room is a bit disastrous. No breakfast is provided in the lounge. The lounge is a bit sad, with a large buffet area but no food served. The breakfast, cost RM55, is just horrible. It is what you could get for RM 15 in a Day's inn. No boiled egg. Little variety of food, and taste terrible. The breakfast venue is filled with a group of tourists who are shouting and rude. I would rather eat in a nasi kandar. It is insulting to have this level of breakfast in a supposed 5-star hotel. It does not match the room.

- T4160WBgordonc (10/5): Good experience - The stay was outstanding and notably value for money in term of strategy location, prevent from traffic jam in the city, not far away from kl centre, bed is really comfort moreover toilet provide bath tube that i not really use it but this time i had try it. Supricingly the ceiling shower head spread water wide enough to cover your entire body. This is the most fantastic thing when your are tired enough to enjoy the shower. The breastfast was absolutely great and had improved alot from previous. There are More dishes for you to choice and the breastfast is not longer boring.
- traveltalesofales (8/5): A Stay with Contradictions: Comfort vs Chaos - My stay at Wyndham Grand Bangsar left me with decidedly mixed feelings about what "Grand" really means in a five-star context. The property presents itself as a sophisticated business hotel in cosmopolitan Bangsar, and while certain aspects genuinely impressed, several critical shortcomings made me question whether this hotel truly deserves its star rating. The room itself was exceptional—spacious, clean, and equipped with one of the most comfortable beds I've encountered in any hotel. However, the overall experience was marred by very slow service from all the staff members, noise issues that made peaceful rest challenging, and a guest demographic that transformed common areas into chaotic spaces during peak hours. It's a hotel that excels in physical comfort but struggles with operational consistency and crowd management. LOCATION: The location sits in an awkward middle ground. You're positioned between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, which sounds convenient but in practice means you're not truly close to anything. Kerinchi LRT station is about a 10-minute walk away—manageable but not exactly at your doorstep. Mid Valley Megamall is a 5-minute drive, which is decent for shopping, but forget about strolling to nearby restaurants or cafes. The immediate surroundings are fairly barren in terms of dining options, and crossing the busy roads without proper pedestrian infrastructure can be genuinely hazardous. The hotel is adjacent to Menara Telekom, which is great if that's where your business is, but otherwise, you'll need to rely on Grab or taxis for most outings DINE + DRINK: The lobby cafe is great for a quick Coffee. Didnt have a chance to try out the restaurant to comment on food. ROOM: We stayed in Room 2708, Which was a GRAND SUITE, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough with a nice big Living room, and a bigger Bedroom; VIEW: Sweet view of the cityscape ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent spa quality Toiletries by a boutique brand! FACILITIES: Very good Gym with a full range of weights, workout stations, and Cardio machines perfect for a full on workout! TEh swimming pool is pretty big and nice too. SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to SERENA from the front desk for enhancing our stay HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! - BGK190479 (10/5): Great hotel, poor location - The hotel itself is great and the staff is friendly and helpful, but the location is not the best. The hotel is close to Universiti Malaya, but not much else except for a shopping mall and two restaurants. It is a lot of traffic and you have to pay attention if you try to cross the streets. There is a metro station not to far away, but you have to change line several times to get to Kuala Lumpurs different locations.

- Nina868686 (10/5): My Review from Recent Stay - I stayed with my family at your hotel two weeks ago with two separate bookings. Since it was a staycation with my kids, we preferred to have connecting rooms. Although our booking was made quite last-minute, we tried our luck requesting it ,and thankfully, the manager, Ms Lyn, was extremely helpful in arranging a nice connecting room for us. The front office staff , Mr Eilham who checked us in were also very friendly and helpful. They truly deserve recognition for their excellent service! However, I would like to highlight one issue regarding the breakfast buffet. We had our breakfast around 9:00 a.m., but almost all the food trays were empty and not refilled promptly. Some items were eventually replenished, but it took quite some time. The restaurant staff also seemed a bit unfriendly; they were pushing trolleys with empty plates quite roughly, making the place noisy. Additionally, some staff had difficulty understanding our requests, and we didn’t see any manager around during that time. Overall, our stay was pleasant thanks to the front office and manager Ms Lyn and the front office staff Mr Eilham , but I hope the breakfast experience can be improved in terms of service and food replenishment.

While the physical comforts of the hotel room reached impressive heights, the culinary experience at breakfast was a severe letdown, leaving me with a deeply mixed impression of a hotel that struggles to live up to its prestigious "Grand" branding. The Room: A Haven of Comfort The highlight of the stay was, without a doubt, the hotel room. It was nothing short of superb. The hotel has clearly invested in providing a truly restful environment. The bed was a centerpiece of comfort, but the real star was the square pillow – its firm support was genuinely remarkable and contributed to one of the best nights of sleep I've had in a hotel. The bathroom, while functional, had its quirks. The shower was positioned at a slightly weird angle, but this was a minor issue easily forgiven by the fantastic water pressure. It was strong and consistent, making for an incredibly refreshing start to the day. For those prioritizing sleep quality and in-room comfort, the Wyndham Grand Bangsar delivers exceptionally well. The Breakfast: A Culinary Catastrophe Unfortunately, the pleasantness of the night was completely erased by the morning's breakfast buffet. It was, frankly, horrible. As someone looking forward to classic Malaysian breakfast staples, the disappointment was profound. The lontong was tasteless; the rice cakes (nasi impit) were watery and lacked any texture, as if they had been merely soaked in plain water. The accompanying vegetables and gravy were devoid of seasoning, missing the fundamental saltiness and flavour that makes the dish what it is. Hoping for redemption elsewhere, I found little solace. The only palatable item was the plain porridge, but its quality came from standard canned condiments rather than any culinary skill in the kitchen. The chee cheong fun was clearly a frozen product that hadn't even been steamed properly, resulting in a clumpy, unpleasant texture. Perhaps most shockingly, the roti canai, despite being made at a live station, had the hard, chewy consistency of a pre-made frozen product. It lacked the flaky, freshly-made quality one would expect. Upon learning that the head chef has been with the hotel for two years, it's difficult to understand how such fundamental errors in a Malaysian hotel's breakfast offering could persist. Final Verdict: Not So "Grand" A hotel experience is the sum of its parts. While the Wyndham Grand Bangsar excels in providing a physically comfortable and superb room, it fails spectacularly in its food and beverage department, at least at breakfast. The "Grand" in its name implies a certain standard of all-around excellence, which it does not meet. Based on this experience, the hotel feels misbranded. The exceptional room might warrant a premium, but the abysmal food quality is more befitting of a budget brand. For the price and the name, guests should expect better. Until the dining experience is elevated to match the quality of its rooms, I would say it feels less like a Wyndham Grand and more like a Days Inn with comfortable pillows.

- RIN06 (8/5): 4 star at best - Spacious room and bathroom. Cleaning was not very good. Missing towels one day, no refill of teabags another day. Was here for a conference. The breakfast, lunch and dinners provided were quite bad, with undercooked prata and pasta that was still hard and uncooked. Location is alright, linked to a LRT. There is a mall nearby but it is not easy to access and the weather makes it too hot to walk to the mall.

It was also problematic that they were not answering the phone when calling... But when finally they did pick up the phone, they confirmed they will wait for us. And once there it was 5 stars service - helped to get the luggage to the room and the room was very clean and comfortable. So all in all we were happy but do recommend the management to switch to a 24/7 reception - this is at the end a 5 stars hotel.

Melinda on reception and young reception girls were very welcoming and friendly. Melinda helped solve my issue and was very patient. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not impressive at all and not international. I found a small variety that was not satisfactory however Melinda helped resolve this issue and did a great job. Nevertheless, the hotel is clean, you get a cosy feeling in the room and the cleaners did a great job. It was a small taxi ride to the mall which was very convenient for grabbing food. The service I could not fault. From the staff on the main doors to the cleaners and reception staff.

- militarybratSG (6/5): Almost there but needs discipline - I spent three days at this hotel for a conference recently. This is a hotel with potential but a few hangups and a need for better general management. First, I will say the staff is friendly which is a good start. The location is far from the airport and intimidating to try and get anywhere from by foot. If you are in this area of KL for business though, it is suitable. I looks for 4 things in a business hotel. Strong internet, a good bed, a good shower, and decent room service. The internet is good and strong. The bed is good though they have these oversized pillows that are useless. The shower has good pressure but the water only gets warm, not hot. The room service is adequate but the actual menu is very limited and largely unhealthy. Other small issues like people not at their post or taking a long time to answer the phone or not filling the liquids in the bathroom also hold it back. And there is very annoying sounds in the elevator. The bells announcing the elevator are quite loud (thankfully I did not have a room nearby) and there is music that plays, the same music all day, as the lift moves but not when it stops. I kept thinking it was someone's phone oging off. All-in-all this hotel could be a good, quality business hotel with a bit discipline and a few tweeks. After three days, I was ready to try a different place.
- trip-experiencing (4/5): Zero Attention to Detail - The rooms are as expected however only ½ the TV channels are able to viewed, some don’t have any sound & where sound is available the volume is limited to 30% of the available sound. The gym is, well, outdated, unclean, & generally quite disgusting. While I saw a cleaner come in all she did was mop the floor with 1 mop head, ie never rinsed & fresh water / detergent applied let alone check or wipe any of the machines. Almost EVERY machine is broken, has pieces or straps missing, or damaged. You can’t even have a small towel, only pool sized towels available. The “Executive Lounge”…. the worst I’ve ever experienced. You’re told what you’ll have: 2 x ¼ sliced mayonnaise & lettuce sandwiches, some microwaved fried rice & warm salad in small glasses. If you’re coming for business, find somewhere else.
- Jet60094020733 (6/5): Little Underwhelmed - This was my 1st time in a 5 star hotel. For a 5 star hotel I didn’t see much difference to a 4 star hotel. Staying in a few places around KL I felt as if the other hotel/apartments found on booking websites far out weighed the 5 star Wyndham Hotel. Yes the hotel gave a grand entrance on arrival and made you feel like King Charles for a brief moment but that’s it. The rooms were nice and came with a bath and a window with a little view but what you pay for really doesn’t justify the cost. However the service provided does exceed slightly to other hotels in regard to dining, cleanliness and attending to personal needs. In conclusion I would stay again within the Wyndham Hotel Group for brief stays. But remember a 50k watch tells the exact same time as a $5 watch.

But all restaurants in overall were really really bad. 1/10. quality of the food, speed of the service and sometimes lack of the basics service skills was not even close to what you would expect from Wyndham. As a just one example, bolognese sauce was made mainly of cartilage, instead of meat. Unfortunately there is not any other place for dinner in walking distance.

For future guests, pls go convenience store before you check in or prepare to pay more.

Not everyday guest came for honeymooner mode! The room ambience light not very bright even bedsite lamp not functioning, sofa area standing lamp also out of bulp....a bit dusty & oily on glass working table. Quit embarrassing for TV channel with oldskool lcd tv without any netflix at least proper local channel with clear view....how sad it is.... Pool area is bold & bored plus too sticky & dirty pool floor! RED FLAG.... For buffet breakfast quit variety of choice but lack of taste & food presentation plating....

Overall, the swimming pool is quite small comparative to other Hotel in KL. Breakfast will need to improve the taste.

- Excursion51986667541 (2/5): Misleading room - I got the deluxe room via agoda, as per how it’s shown in agoda and the website. surprisingly I did not receive the room such as the picture shown. After calling up the receptionist, I was first told that for the window and bathtub as per the picture I am suppose to make a request and I did question her why should I request as it’s shown in the picture that the room will be such. Then she said will speak to her colleague and call me back, when she said back she then said it’s grand deluxe and I booked deluxe and in order to get the amenities that I want I will have to top up extra RM70. When I said it’s shown in agoda that the layout is such, she then said it’s agoda’s problem. Then I called agoda and spoken to Ms Nikita, she told me the picture is not misleading and that it is deluxe room with a window and oval shaped bathtub. And she will speak to the hotel, when she got back to me She said she had spoken to staff Aina and she said I will have to pay RM 70 for grand deluxe But I did point out that even in their official website it’s shown as agoda. So am I being misled? Why should I pay for the room that I booked as per what’s it’s shown? This is very misleading. How can a 5 star hotel mislead their customers? Not only they’re not helpful but very rude too. This would be my first and last stay in this so called 5 star hotel.

- genotype1b (4/5): Won’t try Wyndham again - Check in was efficient. However, front desk tried to double charge me the tourism tax. I already paid and showed receipt of the tourism tax, which was included in my hotel booking. Take note not to get doubled charged due to their error. Room was spacious. Cleanliness could be better. Tissue box cover was mouldy (see photo). Bidet head which happens to be just below eye level has visible soil (see photo). The biggest problem was the shower water pressure. It was too weak for a decent shower, unacceptable for a 5 * hotel (see photos - tap turned on to the max water flow). My unopened bottle of drinks was missing after housekeeping, but I have no proof whatsoever. I’m just stating a fact that it went missing. Not convenient, need to grab everywhere. Overall, ok for solo business travel just for a place to sleep. I won’t book this hotel or this chain again.

- jeffreylee1402 (2/5): Unacceptable Hotel Experience - Dear Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern about the appalling experience my wife and I encountered at Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar on 11th July 2023. Our stay turned out to be a complete nightmare, and I feel it is imperative to bring this matter to your immediate attention. Upon arriving at the room (Room 2021, to the best of our recollection), we were shocked to find the room already occupied by another guest. To our utter dismay, we discovered an ironing board beside the bed, clothes and towels strewn across the bed, and even cosmetics left in the toilet. Clearly, someone else had already checked in before us! Rushing to the reception to seek an explanation, we approached the same staff member who had initially served us. Instead of addressing our genuine concerns, he nonchalantly brushed off the issue as a mere "system glitch." Frankly, we find it difficult to accept such a lackadaisical explanation, especially when our privacy and security were compromised. We even sent him the video we took as evidences! Despite our growing frustration and apprehension, the staff member seemed disinterested in providing any satisfactory resolution. We requested an upgrade, only to be informed that all rooms were allegedly fully booked. In light of the severity of the situation, we even expressed our genuine concern that the previous guest might have been inside the room, possibly in an undressed state. Such a breach of privacy and security is gravely distressing and should never be taken lightly. To our dismay, the staff's response was far from reassuring, and we were merely offered breakfast as compensation for this distressing ordeal. It is disheartening to realize that the gravity of our situation was not appropriately acknowledged, and we were left feeling unimportant and neglected. This experience has left us deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the hotel's security protocols and guest management. We expected a pleasant and secure stay but were met with a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. I strongly urge your management to take this matter seriously and conduct a thorough investigation into the incident to ensure such egregious lapses in security never occur again. Additionally, please address the dismissive attitude of your staff towards guests' genuine concerns. As patrons of your establishment, we should feel valued, respected, and, above all, safe during our stay. Regrettably, our experience has been tarnished, and we are compelled to warn others against expecting quality service at your hotel. We sincerely hope that necessary steps will be taken to rectify these issues and prevent similar incidents from happening in the future. - Verified traveler (2/5): Worst “Birthday stay” experience! - The check-in date was my birthday and I noted in my reservation comments that it was a "birthday stay", but never once during check-in or during my stay did the staff mention my birthday. This was far below what I would have expected from a 5 star hotel with such poor staff service. Also, even though I clearly confirmed to the front desk staff upon check-in that I was staying "two nights," at the end of the first night stay, the staff opened the room door and rudely asked me "When will you check out?”. I informed the staff that I had told at the reception when checking-in that I would be staying two nights. Then the male staff left without saying any single apologies for opening the door without my permission or for not properly managing my reservation info. This hotel may be a 5 star "building" but the level of service from the front line staff is not up to that standard at all.
- Suze (4/5): Bad Location, Average Service & Very Deceiving! - Very disappointing to say the least. The only positive about this hotel is the room size. The rest of the hotel is well below average. Very stale and unwelcoming! Compared to other 5 star hotels we've been to in KL, this hotel feels like they are working on a very stringent budget due to lack of staffs looking after the guests, limited options for breakfast and very stingy with the amenities ie shampoos, conditioners, shower gel etc. Location of the hotel is away from any shops or convenience stores and restaurants which made it very inconvenience for us guests. Thank goodness for the Food Panda Delivery! Although it was stated in their website that they offer a free shuttle service 2x daily to Mid Valley Megamall, but upon check in when we inquired, we were told that service is no longer provided, however they have failed to update us upon booking. This is very deceiving. We will definitely not stay here again!

Check-in was smooth, the lift leading up to our room was also fast; we did not have to walk far or wait long or change lifts to get to our room. We received our bags in less than 5 mins on arrival to our room. Room was clean however housekeeping wasn't up to standard. Only the first time that housekeeping was done, the room was in excellent condition. On our 3rd and 2nd last day, the housekeeper did not help to throw our rubbish (we bagged the rubbish properly in a corner near the door). Despite not needing a top-up of the coffee/tea/sugar/creamer, housekeeper kept providing us with so much of that. And our coffee/water area was so messy with a huge pile of so many drink sachets that we did not need. Housekeeping NEEDS IMPROVEMENT because the standard was unfortunately really poor. It's like they were reluctant to clean the room for us. Check out was also a smooth process. Free parking was also provided. Reception counters and lobby staff were very courteous and polite. Overall not that bad, aside from the housekeeping.

Eventhough it is about an hours drive from the Airport, once you get to the hotel everything else is walking distance. Kerinchi train station is 5 minutes away. Trains are the easiest access and cost wise cheaper to get through to any place. I had the opportunity to enjoy great breakfast at Pullman and the staff very friendly and kind. Please do visit the Spa Lounge a great way to relax. I loved the spa and the lovely people at the spa, a must do if you stay here! I would be revisiting Pullman.

Dosai string hoppers etc not up to standard no sambol or chutney and sambar not up to standard. But other food items good. Restaurant is clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Will stay there again.
