• Sylvie (7/5): In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit schlechter Lounge aber gute Lage und Pool und großen Wohnungen. - Die Lage ist top, 5 Minuten zur BTS, 7eleven gegenüber. Wir hatten ein Apsrtement mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern. Die Küche war voll ausgestattet, die Wohnung groß ohne Balkon. Aber in die Jahre gekommen. Es war sauber und bequem. Der Pool war völlig fein. Wir hatten Lounge Zugang aber die Lounge entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen. Das Geld hätten wir uns sparen können. Es gab wirklich nur Snacks in Form von Häppchen. Kein warmes Essen und die Kaffeemaschine machte nur Kaffee. Obst bestand aus Äpfeln und Birnen. Sehr enttäuschend. Eine Lounge wie im Hilton oder ähnliches darf nicht erwartet werden . Für dieses Geld hätten wir ein besseres Hotel bekommen.

Checkin service was poor, staff appeared to be unsecure, not informed and not empowered to make decisions. Unfortunately, this was one of my worst experiences during check-in and also check-out allover hotels in BKK. Sorry to say.

• Caroline (6/5): Hotel needs a functional update. - Have been staying with Cape House every time my family and I visit Bangkok, for the past couple of years. The staff and service is always top-notch. You do really feel like it’s your home away from home. The hotel really does need to relook at its facilities, its piping has issues and is constantly clogged, both the toilet bowl and even in the shower cube. Although it’s clean, everything else seems to be falling apart due to wear and tear over the years. For the price that customers pay, it’s not exactly what I would call value for money.

Under their General Manager, Khun Teeraya, they have maintained their very high standards in all aspects. I highly recommend Cape House for anyone's stay in Bangkok - it is great value for money and very well located.

We have been to Thailand many many times and had just spent two months in various locations and never had a bug anywhere. Very disappointed in this hotel. Not sure why the great reviews. Breakfast was average. The regular rooms were tiny with almost no windows and we were switched to an efficiency room as a result of the bug , which had a terrible odour and we found a dirty sock in the garbage in the room we got switched to. The only good thing was the location and the valet. Otherwise the staff were not very pleasant which was disappointing because generally the staff and Thai people are wonderful. as we have found in every other hotel in bkk.

Днём можно поплавать в бассейне и посидеть в лаундже с закусками и б/а напитками. Персонал дружелюбный и отзывчивый. Завтраки нормальные. Система кондиционирования не очень понравилась. Так и не удалось достичь баланса между холодно и комфортно, особенно ночью. Но это мелочи.

• LU (3/5): This was our third time to stay with this hotel and we might have to consider alternatives. - The location. The room has recently be decorate which is a plus. Lounge offers free snacks and tea but the variety has been reduced compared to last year. The free breakfast is served by a small Italian restaurant in side the hotel so you would not get much of the local taste as it is more of the continental breakfast type. - This is the third time that I checked into the hotel. The bed is still really bad. The mattress is very poor and you could feel the iron beams inside. We have requested a soft top cover but still feel very bad. Guests' back and shoulder will become pain for the whole night. - as other guest share the aircon in the room is super noisy. You can not lower down the fan speed as it does work work at all. You have to endure the whole air blow during the stay. We found that our faces becomes very sticky in the room and finally found the stickiness on the aircon grill as well. Obviously the hotel did not clean the aircon for a long time as we complained last year with no action taken at all.
