Justin (6/5): Not bad, but certainly not worth the money - We travelled for our honeymoon, and the hotel did make an effort. They very kindly sent a bottle of sparkling wine to the room. There was some initial confusion regarding our room booking, but our interpretation was that they tried to upgrade the room to a larger suite. Unfortunately, this larger suite had no external windows and was right next to the busy bar, but they were able to promptly offer us a different room (smaller, but with natural light, which was our preference). The bed was very comfortable, and the hotel is beautifully designed. Although the hotel is beautiful, there is a slightly odd lack of attention to detail which we would not expect for an expensive luxury hotel. For example, the bathroom door did not fully close. On two separate occasions, staff entered the room without knocking. Apart from Claudio, who was consistently helpful and generous, many of the staff appeared rather inexperienced and/or occasionally standoffish. On turning up initially, for instance, we were told the room wasn't ready — which wasn't a problem. When returning at 4pm, however, we were taken to the room but a cleaner was clearly still working. The front of house staff member told us just to wait in the room while the cleaner continued to work around us, which felt quite awkward. Later on, when asking for some milk for tea in the room, we were told, "I'll call you later", which again felt slightly odd. In short, it did not feel worth the €400+/night cost.

Victor (4/5): Kein 5 Sterne Standard - Das Hotel ist stylish, die Zimmer sind ruhig gelegen Um zu den Zimmer zu gelangen, muss man effektiv durch eine Bar gehen. Kommt man später nach Hause, so muss man sich den Weg durch eine volle Bar bahnen. Zwar sind die Zimmer sehr ruhig gelegen, aber der Flur ist sehr hellhörig. Unsere Zimmernachbarn kamen um 5 Uhr morgens nach Hause und haben so einen Radau gemacht, dass wir aufgewacht sind. Ebenfalls wurden die Ohrstöpsel meiner Freundin vom Room Service entfernt und ein T-Shirt fehlte nachdem das Zimmer gereinigt wurde. Die Rezeption ist immer nur mit einer Person besetzt, sobald mehrere Gäste etwas zeitgleich benötigen, kommt es zu Wartezeiten. Am Ende wurde mir noch ein falscher Betrag für die Minibar abgebucht. Das Haus entspricht keinem 5 Sterne Standard.

I understand the hotel is going to be renovated, which I guess explains why it seems like they aren’t maintaining and keeping up the rooms. Our furniture had seen better days, was scuffed and shabby (not in a vintage way). To get to your room you have to walk through a maze of different dining rooms and the bar. At certain points during our stay there were private events and it felt uncomfortable having to navigate around the spaces. Our room was also very loud. We heard people coming and going, heard the staff cleaning the rooms.

sophia (8/5): Great location, easy access to all the attractions but still has a neighborhood vibe. - Location and accessibility to public transport. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Rooms were a bit cluttered with decor objects and the menu was quite basic onsite but in fairness the staff were accommodating and helpful. They made custom items for our young child, so can’t complain. Size of the rooms are amazing, management were super responsive and extremely helpful in rectifying any issues.

Christine (10/5): Very stylish friendly comfortable hotel with easy access to Milan centre . - Just a short tram ride from the centre of Milan , very large comfortable rooms with great friendly staff and on site parking. Food and drinks are first class and breakfast is a winner . Also very close to an enormous Saturday market . This is a very clean hotel and it smells amazing in some areas and has a great bar with lots of spaces to meet up with a group or be on your own. We were holidaying however i could be very happy staying here if i was working. The bedroom decor is a little tired , it has a crazy collector vibe which is a bit dated but we found quirky , the main hotel part has been renovated to a new modern curved minimalism how ever i do hope they keep some of the mid century madness. Our main complaint would be the over designed minimalist shower tap which needed full concentration for using to obtain hot or cold water I hope these are replaced in renovation. Milan was very hot when we visited and the hotel was keeping fairly cool considering parts open into a lovely courtyard bar.

The capsules they propose are not at the level, and that s a big no, especially in Italy. Given room rate guests should be treated to a real Nespresso :)

H6763OHsarahg (4/5): Disappointing Stay: Limited Room Functionality and Unresolved Issues - Room Functionality and Storage We booked a suite intended to accommodate four guests, although we would have preferred a standard room. Unfortunately, the suite (Wicket) was not adequately equipped for four people and seemed to be designed more as a hosting space for a couple/events vs to accommodate 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). The closet space was extremely minimal, with only five hangers and no drawers, leaving our kids who were using the second bed with no practical way to unpack (nor us). Despite requesting additional hangers on day one (received on day two after a reminder), the storage provided remained insufficient for even a short stay. Hot Water Supply We experienced persistent issues with the hot water. The water was warm but never hot, and the supply lasted only a few minutes with the first shower use (and not for any subsequent shower use for anyone else). This meant only one person could shower with warm water per day, and for three days, we had no hot showers. Although the issue was reported and checked, it was never resolved during our stay. Sustainability? We requested a carafe of water at the bar & restaurant which was available at other hotel touchpoints but denied at the bar and restaurant, where only disposable branded bottled water was offered. This inconsistency contradicts the hotel’s stated commitment to sustainability. On a positive note, we enjoyed the hotel’s design aesthetic, the kindness and helpfulness of the dinner wait staff, the quality of the food, and the friendly reception team. We shared our constructive feedback with the manager and requested a room rate adjustment due to the unsatisfactory experience; however, we were informed that the hotel does not typically respond to guest concerns or offer compensation. I hope this review helps future guests make an informed decision, understanding that any issues they encounter may not be adequately addressed.

The location was perfect - easy to get to everything, right in the heart of very cool Navigli area but away from the overrun tourist centre. There was nothing.
David (10/5): Favourite hotel ! - One of our favourite hotels ever! The decor is MAXIMALIST ! And to have a terrace to sit on, shaded, sound of bird song in the middle of a big city??? Fantastic. Breakfast was delicious, staff were fantastic and the navigli canal neighbourhood a delight to explore, while still a 20 to 30 minute stroll to the Duomo.... great locla restaurants, comfertable bed, liked everything about it nothing, GREAT stay

Balamurugan (8/5): It is a good stay - The hotel is in the perimeter of ZTL and is easily accessible to Trams for the attractions. The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. When we forgot my son’s gift (from his teacher), the team identified it immediately from the room and was ready to ship to us, even though we went to pickup in person! The parking garage is in underground and is narrow which needs careful maneuvering.

Danai (3/5): Noisy rooms and unpleasant stay - Modern esthetic rooms Our room was on the ground floor, directly behind the bar, resulting in loud music playing late into the night. When we raised the issue, the hotel reception admitted that this was a very common problem but offered no help. We were given a partial refund, but it didn’t make up for the disrupted sleep and the inconvenience. Overall disappointing experience.

The first junior suite we were offered was shabby and overlooked a shabby area of the hotel. The 2nd junior suite (room 15) was a nice size and comfy bed, but the bathroom was tired and unfinished, the shower flooded the bathroom and so wasn't a great break in this hotel at all.

The restaurant had a minimised menu, but we were only told when we sat down. Otherwise I would have made my way to a restaurant earlier. As the scaled down menu did not have great options.
