• Fernando (6/5): Hotel razoável / boa localização / falta limpeza - Pontos positivos: - localização excelente - atendimento bastanto prestativo (apesar de desorganizado) Pontos negativos: - cama com buraco e quarto / lençóis / edredom bastante sujos - atendimento bastante desorganizado. Explico: chegamos pouco depois da meia noite e a atendente não conseguiu localizar nossa reserva. Depois de mostrarmos o comprovante impresso do hotéis.com ela nos deixou entrar no quarto com a condição de conversar com a gerente no dia seguinte. Resolvido o mal entendido, na madrugada de um dos dias em que ficamos hospedados fomos acordados por uma das recepcionista que, aparentemente por engano, abriu nosso quarto (!!!!) para mostrá-lo para 2 hóspedes que estavam chegando no hotel - as fotos do banheiro mostradas no site não sâo as fotos do banheiro dos quartos. Ppde parecer um detalhe, mas para quem nao gosta de banheiro com chuveiro com toalha de plastico isso faz bastante diferença (obs: apesar da foto do site mostrar um bom de vidro, a atendente disse que apenas 2 quartos não tem toalhas de plastico)

• Arthur (6/5): Mais ou menos mas pelo preço .... - O hotel fica bem localizado e tem um bom custo benefício. Porém achei o atendimento ruim quando estava subindo a escada o atendente foi incapaz de ajudar eu e minha esposa com as malas. O café da manhã é bem fraco e o sol pelo menos na época que fui bate nas mesas com toda a força.
• claire (6/5): Sympa, mais bruyant - Hôtel sympa, chambres assez simples mais propres et confortables. On a demandé deux fois une serviette supplémentaire sans succès, pour le prix on s'attend à un accueil plus attentif. Par contre la gérante a accepté d'imprimer nos billets de bus gratuitement, c'était sympa. Une cuisine est à disposition, à partager avec les résidents de la partie dortoir. Petit-déjeuner complet (pain grillé et medialunas, boissons chaudes, beurre, confiture et fruits frais). Le gros problème est le manque d'insonorisation des chambres, malheureusement entre nos voisins argentins couche-tard et nos voisins israéliens matinaux ce fut difficile de dormir.
• Hmmm (6/5): Depressing staff over Christmas! Eurgh! - The most dull and depressing staff we have experienced in 9 months of travelling the world!! We were greeted as if we were strays off the street and any time we had a question the staff were incredibly unhelpful. Double bed was two singles stuck together so not comfortable at all. We would expect and understand this if the price was alot less. For the price we paid we would have expected a proper double bed. Breakfast was OK, plenty food but you felt like you weren't welcome at breakfast by the staff.
• John (6/5): - Nice stay. Staff were great considering our lack of Spanish - we just used google translate! Breakfast delicious, room welcome though small. Shower ran out of hot water and was slightly to small with the shower curtain touching your body in one way or another. Bathroom loud with fan so try not to turn that one on if possible.

• Verified traveler (2/5): 最悪でした - 受付は全員全く英語が通じず、”俺は英語はしゃべれん。スペイン語で言え”とかなり横柄に言われます。おまけに”お前の予約はない”と言われ言葉が通じずおおもめしました。さらに2泊で予約していましたが、2泊目はシーツと枕がすべて片付けられており、文句を言ったところ”だからどーした”と言われまたおおもめしました。パタゴニア最初の宿がこんなありさまでかなりへこみました。
• Sarah (8/5): Camp style room with good services - I stayed in the hostel part of this Hotel - it's basically 2 rooms with 12 people each connected by a bathroom with 3 showers and 3 toilets. It's like a camp dorm - so not very great. Not sure how they could make it better per se though. It's hard to figure out how to shower with both genders coming in and out (and really no private place to change). The bathrooms were kept stocked with toilet paper and soap though. The rooms were comfy and they had lockers in the hallway. Wifi worked good and my rate came with breakfast - which was very good (fresh pastries!).

• Ricardo (2/5): PESIMO.-10 - La habitación tenía muchísimas humedades. no funcionaba la luz de la ducha y no supieron cambiarla. La televisión tampoco funcionó y nos tuvieron que traer otra de otra habitación.El desayuno era muy muy muy escaso. La atención del personal era nula estaban todo el día tirados en el sofá viendo la TV. No lo recomiendo ni a mi peor enemigo .

Hotel muy bien comunicado al centro del pueblo, en el Calafate es importante que el hotel esté situado cerca del centro porque si no te aburres como una ostra. Se pueden contratar allí mismo las excursiones al mismo precio que el mayorista, y por tanto sin recargo. Personal muy agradable y servicial.

Estaría bien poder regular con un termostato la calefacción de la habitación. Hubiera estado bien que pasaran todos los días a hacer la limpieza de la habitación, porque sólo pasaron una vez, y estuvimos 4 días. El desayuno bien. Ubicación buena, muy cerquita del centro.

Our stay in October was quiet. The staff was very helpful in booking tours and meeting our needs. The hotel rooms were comfortable, quiet, well heated, and showers had plenty of hot water. The location was convenient to the main street, restaurants, bus station etc.

No hay television en las habitaciones. El servcio de internet es bueno, incluso en las habitaciones. El desayuno acorde con lo que se paga. Pienso que podrian hacer un esfuerzo y poner los televisores, aun cuando suban un poco la tarifa. En cuanto a la ubicacion es fantastica.

El servicio del personal en todo momento fue excelente, tanto por correo antes de llegar como al estar en el hotel. La habitación siempre estuvo limpia y arreglada. Perfecto para viajeros jóvenes.
• Marco (6/5): El Calafate - - è un hotel che dimostra le sue due stelle, anche se la cosa più importante è che le stanze son pulite, e l'hotel è posizionato praticamente nel centro del paese. La colazione è scarsa, viene offerto il minimo indispensabile, piccole confenzioni di marmellata, burro e poco altro, le posate scarseggiano, pane ogni giorno vecchio. Wi-fi gratuito, ma segnale debole. I ragazzi del personale sono gentili, ma non mi sembravano molto professionali. Forse un hotel indicato di più a chi è abituato a girare con uno zaino e un sacco a pelo. Periodo marzo 2013

• Peter S (6/5): Good location, very basic and noisy hotel - The hotel is decent but basic. The same building also covers a hostel, so this brings younger and louder crowd. It is 3 blocks from the main street, easy walk. The room was simple and a bit dark. People running up and down the stairs till very late every night. My Hotel Calafate is an inexpensive choice that delivers decent value for the money.

Rummet var stort, med en dubbel och en enkelsäng, samt ett pentry med diskbänk och spisplattor. (Köksredskap och/eller glas, porslin coh bestick saknas dock, men det finns ett gemensamhetskök på hotellet som fritt får användas.) My Hotel är ett kombinerat traditionellt hotell och vandrarhem, med sovsalar. Publiken är mestadels ung och det spelades ganska hög musik i den kominerade lobbyn/gemenskaplokalen, men det var tyst runt kl 22. Något spartansk frukost - kaffe/te, "juice", mjölk, flingor, bröd och marmelad. Trevlig, engelsktalande personal. Prisvärt!
• Michelle (8/5): Clean, cheap rooms in a noisy hostel - The room was clean and in good condition. Close to the main area. Excellent, friendly staff. Breakfast was simple: bread, milk, cereal, coffee/tea, milk, juice. The only downside was the thin walls and noisy common areas outside the room.

• meishan (8/5): - Part of this hotel is hostel. I stayed the hotel room. The room is clean. Shower and bathroom are separated. Love this design. It is convenient design for 2 guests. Facility is clean. The bed is comfortable. The housekeeper did a good job. I stayed 2 different rooms when I was there. One of rooms don't have a hair dryer. The reception does not have a public one. I will recommend to bring your own hair dryer to Argentina if you usually need one. There are 2-3 routers for Wi-Fi. The connection speed was good. breakfast: cereal, bread, milk, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, milk. Basic breakfast.

• 16313851351351 (8/5): Cheap, nice - This is a hostel located near the center of town with some private rooms. Friendly staff. Biggest downside was that rather than an actual queen bed we had two single beds that were put together. Not the most comfortable.

The noise is dreadful, it echoes around the main hall so i didnt get a full nights sleep in the 5 nights i stayed there and if you are at the back there a barking neighbourhood dog all day and into the night. The staff were generally ok, however some didnt speak english and the guys spent most of their time playing games on the television area rather than maing the reception desk. The lady whom filled the cereal and rolls at breakfast always look grumpy. Room was clean and tidy

• Verified traveler (8/5): My Hotel Calafate - Oct. 2011 - Very convenient setting (nice sitting place with a pool table, lots of space to sit and relax, equipped (shared) kitchen - Great for young people who are on the budget). Great value for the money. People in the front desk are very knowledgeable and will help you with questions about the different activities the city has to offer.
