Great location All the stairs in 3bedroom apartment There is no where on website that says it’s over 4 floors and having older ppl and sore knees couldn’t stay there but we were lucky and they swapped us a 2 bedroom one which was excellent.

• Danni (5/5): Great for the location, but that's about it. - The location of the hotel is fantastic for walking to restaurants, shops and the beach is right across the road. The room description and photos showed an ocean front view, but the view was limited out the only window on the side of the room. The room was also quite old and there was a bit of a musky old smell also. Bathroom was extremely small. Just overall didn't think the cost was worth the quality of the room and limited view.

• Nicole (8/5): Our weekend away was awesome - The location and the views and also the size of the rooms. The property is a little dated, which I didn’t expect. The rooms should have fans in there as I would have used a fan at that time we were there instead of having to put on an air-conditioner. The main living area definitely requires an air-conditioner and a fan. For the money that we paid, I get the location and use spectacular however I would’ve expected a more up-to-date apartment than what we had

• Sarah (8/5): Good Value Family Accomodation - Great value for money accomodation if you are on a budget. Some rooms are ready for an upgrade, but we were comfy in all three rooms we had. The bathrooms are really small, but fine for a holiday. We would stay again.

Very friendly, helpful and welcoming reception staff. Budget buy so a smaller room on the ground floor - but still impressed with cleanliness and facilities. Thought there would be an issue as located by a lift - and pedestrians outside walking close by - but .. really good nights sleep. Would go again but only for a night or 2 as we would be tripping over our bags all the time. All ok considering it was for one night

Lift to floors 1 to 3 Very small room. No clothes-cupboard or shelf space. Small broom-cupboard size wardrobe. Bathroom primitive probably original as built in 1986… sink size of a handkerchief cut diagonally. Single glazed windows very poor sound insulation from traffic and adjacent buildings. Some of the advertising photos give the impression that rooms face the ocean (they don’t, they face a hotel across the street), and that some/rooms have balconies (none have balconies).

• Kate (8/5): Fabulous location and view - We loved the location, right amongst all the excitement of manly, so handy for the beach, Corso, cafes & restaurants & ferry. It’s not a modern property, but that’s clear from pics etc but it’s completely functional for a family - kitchen, laundry, great size balcony in unit 620. Use the a/c in summer, cool breeze at night but morning sun warms the rooms up and also bit too noisy to leave sliding doors open - but all manageable and worth it for location. 3rd bedroom should ideally have A/c too although it doesn’t get morning sun.
• Helen (6/5): Excellent location but would recommend this motel for visitors on short term visits. - Excellent location with a great view of the beach The accommodation was not suitable for our 3 week visit as there was negligible storage space. This is a motel as opposed to a hotel which would appear to cater better for short term visits as opposed to a 3 week stay. The staff very kindly provided a mobile clothing rack for us to use as there was no drawer storage and an exceptionally small cupboard which housed 6 hangers. The rack did help but took up space in an already small room. The bathroom was fine albeit basic with a small sink, awful toilet seat and was in need of an update. The bed was fine as was the tv and it was useful to have a fridge, sink and microwave. We did miss not having a safe in the room.
