- Karen (4/5): Disappointing - Bed was comfy.. 24hr front desk was not. We arrived about 7am and were to leave luggage and return later for check-in. Front door locked. No-one around. TV was an ornament. Kettle was difficult to get, even tho coffee/tea sachets were supplied on 1 day. Pillows were hard and high. Shower drained onto all the bathroom floor. Housekeeping poor. We were ok with all of the above. Not ok with staff. Only 2 were marginally helpful.

- Michael (2/5): - DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, STAY AT THIS DISGUSTING PROPERTY. THE HEAVY SET GUY MANAGING THE PROPERTY IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. LOOK AT THE OTHER REVIEWS OF STAFF STEALING FROM GUESTS. After an extremely long transcontinental flight, we were very tired but excited about our family trip back to Vietnam. As soon as we walked in, the fat f*ck running this extremely dirty and run down hotel tried to scam us into paying extra for breakfast and showed a bogus document from Expedia stating that we booked our stay for only 3 guests. Even after I showed him my receipt from Expedia, clearly showing 5 guests he insisted that we were in the wrong. We actually own rental property and use Expedia so I knew immediately he was lying and fabricated a fake document. After I threatened to cancel my reservation and give him a bad review, he finally shut his big mouth. When we finally got up to our room, we immediately noticed it was absolutely filthy, super run down, black mold everywhere and the bathroom door didn’t even close all the way which means no privacy when showering. We had to book another hotel late at night and pay double the normal price. My wife and children are Vietnamese and lived in Vietnam for many years so we know what to expect and this was not even close to a one star experience. My photos back up all my claims so if these clowns try to respond with a denial, you know what the truth is. We are filing an official complaint with Expedia

- Rahul (1/5): I’m traveller and and the worst stay I’ve ever had ended up leaving the hotel within 10 hours. - I didn’t like anything about the property Staff- I’ve arrived around 10pm and only staff member there and he was lying down and watching phone. Hotel entrance was blocked by motor bikes couldn’t bring the luggage. I’ve asked hotel staff he said he couldn’t help as he’s the only person there. I ended up carrying all my family luggage’s by myself. Lift is too small so I had to take 3 trips. Room- I saw spitting mark on the walls very narrow room its less than 15sqm dirty bed sheets

The room is a great size, and surprisingly very quiet, the only other noise was when the other rooms on the same floor were in the corridor (only a couple of rooms per floor so this wasn't much). Breakfast is at another hotel just around the corner, has a good selection. I would definitely stay here again. No natural light as it was a windowless room (it has a window but leads onto a decorated wall), the bath plug didn't work so couldn't have a bath

- Verified traveler (8/5): 広い部屋と便利な立地 - 帰国日前に一泊いたしました。広い部屋だったので帰国前で荷物をまとめるのに助かりました。バスタブ付きでしたが、湯をためている間に水になりました。タオルはバスタオルのみでしたので、必要な方はハンドタオルなど持参するとよいと思います。朝食は他ホテルでしたが、とても美味しかったです。チェックアウト後荷物を預かってもらいましたが、フロントから目の届くところに置いてくれていたので安心でした。バス停からちょっと距離がありますが、周辺は食堂がたくさんあり、ホアンキエム湖へも旧市街へも近くて便利でした。

- Teddy (2/5): Do Not Stay Here - It was not a good experience. First the room smelled dank. That’s partially due to a leak in the sink. Told them when we first arrive there after check in. They say they will dice it. They never did. Told them the second day again. They never fixed it. I asked them for extra towel so we can line the restroom floor due to the leak. They said they ran out. They keep passing the buck from the night and shift. On the 3rd day. They change rooms for us. They say they will move our luggage for us. They never did. In the second room the shower head holder was broken. When you turn it on it sprayed everywhere in the restroom due to high water pressure. Second issue was the bath towels. They are old and tattered. Looks disgusting. More like a rag. Third issue is the breakfast buffet. You have to walk 100 meters to a different hotel. Not convenient. The selection there is terrible. I’ve stayed in Hanoi several time and this by far is the worst hotel ever.

Tour companies, currency exchange, and laundry services are on every corner. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the hotel has an elevator. They also offer tour services and airport transfers, which is super convenient. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any requests or questions. Breakfast is included, though it's served in a building just a 2-3 minute walk away.

- Raminhbb (7/5): Good - I found this hotel by chance when my other reservation failed, but I was very happy to stay here because the location was good and the room was clean and comfortable, although it was a little old. Generally, it was okay. The Wi-Fi worked very well, and they offered us a free breakfast served in a restaurant near the hotel (200m away), which was a very limited buffet breakfast, but it was okay and it was worth the money we spent.

- Crystal (6/5): Double Room, Very Good. Family Suite, Terrible. Satisfaction completely dependent on this. - The DOUBLE ROOM was great with a lovely balcony and view of the city. Bed was comfortable and it had a little sitting area. This area is the best in Hanoi, in my opinion, for less of a crowded experience but still close to lake and tourist sites. Breakfast at the nearby hotel was good, if you don't mind the short 4 minute walk. Concierges tried their best to rectify our complaint, which we appreciated. Also helped us speak with taxi drivers. The FAMILY ROOM. At check in we were told we had been upgraded to a better room. It was larger due to it being a Family Room, but everything else was not better. The room had a damp smell, the bathroom had mold marks everywhere, limited window view, and the a/c unit made a loud groaning noise every few minutes, making it extremely difficult to fall and stay asleep. We asked to change rooms, not possible for the second night but possible for the third (read above for that). My advice is to insist on the room you booked, politely decline upgrades to this room, these issues should be addressed.

- Peter (7/5): Good location, but pictures not really representative of reality. - It’s a great location and the rooms are spacious. We had several issues while staying here. First we booked a room with a window, but the room we got didn’t have one. They have rooms in the same category that makes it looks like they have windows, but it’s just a window with bricks on the other side. We told the staff and they let us change to another room after our first night that actually had a real window. The second room we got had a leakage in the tube connected to the sink. It would drip all day, not only when we didn’t use it, but all the time. We mentioned this several times to the staff, but instead of fixing it they just put towels underneath that would get soaked in 1 hours and then fill the bathroom floor. Didn’t feel like they took our complain serious. We were there during tet(new years) so a lot of people were not working and maybe they could get a hold of a plumber. That’s fine, but they wouldn’t say anything, just kinda wait for us to leave.

- Rene (2/5): Le pire hôtel à Hanoi en trois ans - Pas de chauffage la première nuit et chauffage insuffisant pour les 2 autres nuits. Climatisation veut dire contrôle de confort en chaleur ou froid. Ici la chaleur n’y était pas
- Haigh (8/5): Very good - The breakfast is excellent. Just order from the menu. The freshly made omelettes are probably the best I've had from any hotel. You need to walk around the corner to another hotel, but it's not far. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. Drainage system in the bathroom is a little bit inconvenient.
- Kym (6/5): Great location rooms as expected for old quarter and book tours elsewhere: - The location was great and the breakfast was good. The bathroom needs upgrading. Things fell of walls and bath tub is way to high. Be careful booking tours through hotel I was charged more than I would have got else where and was told we were in a small tour with a limousine and got an old bus with 60 people. Would not book a tour through hotel.
