• Luc (7/5): - Très Bon emplacement, lit confortable Pas de réception, la personne qui nous a accueilli la première journée parlait seulement italien. Ensuite personne sur place. Nous n'avons eu aucun renseignement ou carte de la ville. Prix élevé. Salle de bain petite.
• Tetiana (7/5): “Everything would have been perfect if it weren’t for the sewage smell. - I really appreciated the way the owner handled my booking — everything was both professional and friendly from the very beginning. The apartment itself was excellent: the furniture is modern, new, and exceptionally clean, and it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I also felt very safe, as there are multiple secure access codes to enter the building and apartment, which I personally appreciated a lot. It was especially pleasant to have fresh, clean towels and crisp new bedding, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is fantastic as well — right next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore , making it perfect for exploring the city. The only thing I didn’t like was the sewage smell in the apartment. I am not sure if it is a common problem for the city centre location or it’s still possible to not experience that . I can’t say as it was my first visit to Florence.

• Petra (10/5): Im Herzen von Florenz wohnen. - Wir wurden bestens empfangen. Da wir älter sind und zum Teil beschwerlich Treppen steigen können, wäre es gut, dass man online vorher sehen könnte, um wie viele Treppen es sich handelt.

• GabiV (9/5): Locatie foarte buna pentru vizitarea Florentei. - Pozitia - la 1 minut de Piazza del Duomo. Marimea camerei. Amabilitatea gazdei. Pretul mai bun decat alte camere sau apartamente din centrul turistic. Nu am folosit transportul in comun dar am vazut ca exista statia C2 chiar in fata portii. Camerele Adelaide sunt situate la etajul 3 în imobil fara ascensor.

Posizione centralissima: strategica per scoprire ogni angolo del centro e confondersi nel viavai di turisti. Comunicazione diretta con Grazia, che si è dimostrata assai disponibile e puntuale.

• Petros (4/5): Below average experience. - The location was great Unfortunately, our experience did not match the description on Booking. What was advertised as an apartment was actually just a house with several rooms, and our room felt like a simple bedroom inside someone’s home rather than a hotel or proper accommodation. The sink was placed directly under the toilet bowl, making it practically impossible to use the bathroom comfortably. The listing also mentioned “bed and breakfast,” but we were not offered any breakfast at all. When we arrived, we entered the house and found the host’s husband and baby in the living area, with all the rooms open as if it were their personal home, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Additionally, the host did not allow us even an extra hour to leave our luggage after checkout, there was no WiFi available, and we were required to pay the city tax in cash because the host refused to accept card payment. Overall, the host’s behavior and the general atmosphere felt quite strange and unwelcoming. I hope this feedback helps improve the accuracy of the listing and the experience for future guests.

Before entering the room, they immediately reply back the mail even though the mid night . They only reply back that they needs to check in the time for their needs. On the other hands, they don’t care my questions. チェックインに関する情報など彼らが必要な情報は夜中でもすぐに連絡が来たが、チェックインした後は、日中でも返信が3時間ほどかかり既読すらつかない。 自分たちに必要な情報には夜中なのに連絡がくるのに、そうでないことには無関心。 隣の人次第だが、壁が薄いのか話してる内容まで聞こえること。

Up some stairs but that’s to be expected. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom excellent and shower hot. Will be hoping to stay in exactly the same place when I’m next back with my wife. Nothing in particular.

Ubicación (a un paso del Duomo: la foto la tomé en la puerta), buena cama, baño completo (dan toallas, toallones, secador de pelo, jabón para manos y para ducha *shampoo y cuerpo), limpieza diaria (que primero no lo sabíamos, entonces no nos gustó mucho la idea de que entren, pero al final es un buen servicio: sobre todo al encontrarnos al chico de limpieza que es muy muy respetuoso y gentil!) Ventana con buena luz e insonorización. Volvería a alojarme sin dudas. Mencionaría 5 cosas que para nosotros no fueron graves pero tal vez para otras personas que se quieran alojar importan: *Subir 3 pisos por escaleras. *La presión del agua es baja para bañarse. *La habitación es fresca.. el aire calor nunca funcionó. *Baja señal de Wifi por momentos. *Pava eléctrica que ofrecen no cuenta con adaptador para enchufar a la corriente, tuvimos que calentar agua en el baño 😵‍💫 Por otro lado seria aconsejable dar aviso previo de que entran a la habitación para hacer limpieza diaria.

• Sybille (10/5): - Super convenient location literally right by the Duomo. It's basically a little studio apartment which is very convenient for a solo traveler or couple. Would definitely stay here again. A little loud on the weekend nights, but that's expected for the location. Nothing that a pair of ear plugs can't fix!
• Nadja (9/5): Perfekte Lage für Kurztrip in Florenz! - Sehr gute Lage, direkt nebem dem Dom. In 10 Minuten zu Fuss beim Dom. Grundsätzlich alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Einfacher Kontakt mit der Vermieterin. Zugang durch Eintrittscode. Schönes, geräumiges Zimmer. War für uns kein Problem, da wir wenig Gepäck hatten. Aber nur als Notiz für Personen mit viel Gepäck, dass das Zimmer im 4. Stock ist und man keinen Lift hat.

We really appreciated having the space to make breakfast in the morning and a comfortable spot to relax when we needed a break from the crowds. Grazia was an excellent host—very responsive and always ready to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend Adelaide House and would gladly stay here again! N/A

Even though the property isn't amazing its perfect just for its location. The property was amazing for its location. There are a lot of flights of stairs. I wouldn't advise this place for those with large suitcases and if they can't carry them about 4-5 flights of stairs.

Beautiful location right next to the Duomo and very close walk to most tourist attractions in Florence. They keep your room clean with daily housekeeping. Would definitely stay there again!

• Grzegorz (8/5): Excelent place for people that want to save time and money on transportation, you are in center. - Location was exceptional, literally next to Duomo Cathedral, walking distance to all of the main Florence attractions. Airconditioning was a blessing in recent heatwaves. Room was cleaned every day. Ventilation in bathrooom could be better, it was like having our own sauna in it. Building is really old, you can see it in the massive cracs on the walls.

• Mikołaj (9/5): Superb - It's within 10-15 minutes walking distance from major attractions. You can find grocery stores nearby. The staff is very friendly, rooms are kept clean. You get clear instructions on how to check-in to your room. Only outside noise I heard were the bells. The walls have USB ports, although charging a phone using them is pretty slow. Really appreciated having a fridge and TV in the room. The warm water pressure in shower could be higher, but it's no big issue. The WiFi didn't always work.

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating Spoken English very well and very personable adding to my overall enjoyment of this as my choice place of lodging

This place will not work for someone with mobility problem because there are 5 flight of stairs before you can reach to your unit

• Janet (8/5): Would definitely start there again if I were fortunate enough to be visiting Florence again! - The location so close to the Duomo and the main sights in a concentrated downtown in Florence - easy walking and we didn't get lost! Room was quiet, even though on a busy street with some cars etc. Hotel manager and room cleaners were lovely friendly people although we rarely saw them. Bed quite comfortable!!! Locked access - required use of the assigned number code in 4 places after entering the building to reach the room. Most reassuring!! I really have no complaints - great value, and location near the Duomo couldn't have been better !!
• Scott (9/5): Despite the cons that I mentioned, we were very happy with our stay. - Great location Great room Great hosts Good price The water temperature was very inconsistent. The shower water would change back and forth between ice cold and super hot without us touching the temperature control. I'm guessing the temperature changed based on how much water people in other rooms were using. The wifi connection was very weak and would often lose connection and we would have to reconnect. This might be because we were in the room at the end of the hall, probably farthest away from the wifi router.
• Daisy (3/5): Poor - It was close to places of interest but on the third floor with no lifts. The room was actually an airbnb and not a hotel which I requested. I searched for a hotel and this property appeared. A receptionist came in a few days for a few hours each time. Some days the office was closed. The receptionist was unhelpful. For example, I was about 200 meters from the property and rang and asked her for directions. She could not give me a really simple directions to the property. She asked me to take a cab.. the city tax was very expensive for this property.

• Harry (10/5): Great stay at the heart of Florence! - The room at the accommodation was really big and bed was comfortable. It was just few metres away from Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral and near all main sights in Florence. All staffs made sure I had a great stay! Not applicable.

• Shaina (7/5): Good - Location steps from the Duomo was fantastic, host was friendly and very good at communicating, room was large and clean. The room unfortunately smelled like sewer both nights. More than likely came from the building (I understand that they are older) and not the hotel's fault, but still worth noting. The AC did not work even with the window closed and locked (as instructed), so the room was very warm at night. Not sure if I did something wrong or if it's set up like this, but when I turned the lights out, the electricity went off as well. I had to sleep with the lights on in order to charge all of my devices overnight. But with all that said, I would stay here again.

• Mia (8/5): At the center of everything! - No breakfast but location was amazing. Close to everything! Truly perfect in that sense. You are getting a great deal for the price and it saved a lot of walking as we didn't have a car and wanted to see lots of sights. Also very secure. Two gates plus key card to enter room. Beds were a little uncomfortable. Also the shower took a full minute or so to heat up fully but it wasn't terrible.

• Raphaël (6/5): Overpriced room - The location is incredible. If that's your only criteria, you will love it. The host was super nice and responsive. No possibility to leave your back a few hours after checking, which is a big blocker. The room's equipment and confort is fairly below average. The bathroom was especially bad: the bidet was facing the toilette but there's only 30cm between them, everything was rusty, the shower didn't close properly, the hairdryer has zero power, they provide shampoo but no soap. This makes the room absurdely over priced

And the boarding house was safe and secure, not rowdy like a hostel. Excellent value for the price. The room technically had WiFi, but we were never able to connect to the Internet through it.

Was no problem for myself but keep in mind there is no elevator and around 4 flights of stairs. Also booking.com says taxes are included but you still have to pay city tax.
• Benjamin (10/5): - Safe, modern, and clean room. Curtains do let light in and doors and walls allow any noise nearby to heard. Not a problem to sleep though. Great stay!
