• Oliver Beck (10/5): A beautiful stay close to El Chalten's best hiking trails - The hotel was beautiful and located close the the trailhead for the Laguna de los Tres hike. We enjoyed the breakfast and the bar, and the staff was very friendly. The bed was comfy and the room had plenty of space as well as heaters to hang our wet hiking gear. Sleeping on the top floor was very noisy during one night with intense winds and rains, but the other nights were quiet.

Le stanze non sono affatto insonorizzate ed inoltre dalla tenda della camera entrava la luce di un lampione durante tutta la notte e la luce dell’alba al mattino. Poca pressione dell’acqua. Camere non molto spaziose e davvero troppo calde.

En resum molestant als clientsque erem allà. Obviament els pares eren pitjor que els fills però els empleats del hotel en cap mment no els hi varen dir res. Alguns clients varem marxar de la sala ja que ens ssentiem incomodes.

• leap50 (8/5): Great stay for families! - We stayed two nights here and really enjoyed it. The pics don't do it justice and it's much cozier in person. We were a family of 4 and had a duplex room that was great as the kids loved sleeping in the upstairs loft area. The location of this hotel is great as it's close to a lot of the trails. The breakfast is decent and our kids loved the pool after a long day of hiking. The staff spoke english fluently and were helpful in suggesting hikes for us. Maffia in town was probably our best meal. The bar/cafe area was always staffed so we were able to order coffee or wine when we returned from dinners or hikes. The only complaint is that you can definitely hear people as they're walking or talking in the hallways outside your room. It wasn't terrible since we were there during shoulder season but it may bother others. I'd stay here again!

Could walk directly from here to the trailhead of both Laguna de los Tres and Cerro Torre hikes. After eating elsewhere one night, we concluded that this hotel has a very good kitchen for both lunch and dinner. Friendly staff. Was pleasantly surprised to see the nice and spacious spa after the long hike. Well lit and good facilities. Room floorboards were creaky, but the rooms were clean. Would highly recommend because of the location, food, and spa facilities which were most important on this trip.

The hotel is perfectly situated near the end of San Martin Ave, in a quiet location, and an easy walk to the trail heads and lots of dining options. The front desk personnel were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was lacking - items were not consistently replenished, and offerings had too many sweets. Housekeeping could have been better - left our room door unlocked after servicing one day.

The hotel is well located, close to the start of the hiking trails, restaurants and pubs. It also has a lovely spa which was perfect for after our hike. Great breakfast buffet which starts early which was helpful given most residents are there to hike. Highly recommended. The floorboards creeked a lot throughout the hotel so you can hear people coming and going.
• Winter (8/5): Very good - One of the best hotels in El Chalten, targeted to the tour groups. It has an excellent location, close to the most popular hiking trail head. The staff were friendly. Love the cold water fountain. Shower was swinging from cold to hot nonstop. The floor was creaky. Most breakfast items would run out and had to wait for a while for the refills during our three-day stay. Maybe the serving trays were too small?

Very comfortable room. The spa/hotel was the ideal place to relax after a long hike. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable in coordinating local activities Appreciated the thoughtful sustainability features, such as a cold water fountain that eliminated need for plastic bottled water.

It is also very near some good hikes. The room was comfy but rather warm (top floor) and with surprisingly bland views. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was terrific. Very cozy and a short walk into town or directly into the main hiking path out of town. Nice small pool, sauna and hot tub for after-hike recuperation. I had the pulled pork for dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was not only the best meal I had during my entire Argentina trip but also right up there with the best restaurants anywhere….and I’ve been to a lot of places.
