The public bath has a beautiful view of the Tokyo Tower and was a great way to relax at end the day. Even though the hotel is in a busy area, the street was silent and calm. We had a wonderful stay!

All’ingresso forniscono tutto il necessario per la notte e c’è anche al saletta con biscotti e the. Peccato esserci stati solo una notte Trovandosi proprio a due passi dal tempio la sera/notte è un po’ rumoroso. E le tendine non riparano dal sole.

Lovely onsen on the top floor with view of the Tokyo Skytree. Great choice of free snacks and drinks in the common area at the entrance. Personnel was very friendly and happy to help with recommandations. Pillow was a bit too hard for me.

- Kayla (10/5): A cozy traditional stay in the heart of a bustling area. - Amazing location! Right in the heart of Asakusa but it feels like your in a cozy, tucked away in. We loved the options of the baths to give it that traditional Ryoken vibe but it being on the smaller side. Seriously so great! We also loved the laundry options as well and our bathroom and room were very nice! Amazingly kind staff as well. The only thing that isn’t the properties fault at all is the firmness of the beds. Coming from America we’re used to extremely soft beds so it’s a bit of a transition to go from soft to firm. This is our second trip to Japan so we were prepared for this but just a heads up for first time travels!

- Kevin (10/5): Authentisches Japan-Erlebnis im Herzen von Asakusa – absolut empfehlenswert! - Mein Bruder und ich hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in diesem Ryokan. Wer in Tokio ein Stück traditionelles Japan erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Die Highlights: • Authentizität: Die Zimmer sind im klassischen Stil mit Tatami-Matten und Futons ausgestattet. Es war sehr gemütlich und genau das Erlebnis, das wir uns erhofft hatten. • Yukata-Service: Man bekommt die klassischen dünnen Yukatas gestellt und kann sich damit völlig unkompliziert im ganzen Haus und natürlich auf dem Weg zum Bad bewegen. • Das Bad: Es wird zwar mit Leitungswasser statt Quellwasser gespeist (technisch also kein Onsen), aber vom Flair und der Entspannung her steht es einem echten Onsen in nichts nach! • Insider-Tipp: Holt euch vorher im nahegelegenen Kombini ein Yakult. Das nach dem Bad zu trinken, macht das japanische Bade-Feeling perfekt! • Service & Sauberkeit: Das Personal ist unglaublich höflich, zuvorkommend und verbreitet durchweg gute Laune. Die Zimmer sind sehr ordentlich, und besonders die Sanitäreinrichtungen sind sehr neu und modern, ein toller Kontrast zum traditionellen Rest des Zimmers. Zur Lage: Das Ryokan liegt super zentral in Asakusa, den Schrein hat man quasi in Sichtweite. Da es eine sehr belebte Gegend ist, kann es abends auch mal etwas lauter sein. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, sollte zur Sicherheit Ohrstöpsel einpacken, für uns war es aber kein Problem. Fazit: Ein rundum gelungenes Ryokan-Erlebnis. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The staff were really welcoming and helpful. They also spoke English. The women’s public bath had a nice view of the skytree. - laetitia (8/5): Une étape très appréciée en famille. - Le ryokan est très bien situé au cœur du quartier populaire d asakusa. La chambre avait une vue sur la pagode du senso-ji, canon! L’accueil a été très chaleureux et le service de bagages est très pratique. Des yukatas sont mis à disposition dans les chambres pour une expérience immersive. Il y a un rooftop vue sur la skytree, très belle de nuit. Les chambres simples sont petites, attention aux grosses valises et l’une d’entre elle individuelle n’avait pas de fenêtre. Je n’ai pas pu profiter du onsen car une petite fille l’occupait seule et j’ai trouvé cela gênant….

- CMGz (9/5): Awesome location and staff! - The location is amazing! Asakusa is an amazing area, very lively and authentic, and way less chaotic than other areas like Shinjuko. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was extremely clean and well-equipped. Traditional Japanese rooms have traditional windows, which don’t have blinds or blackout curtains. In spring, the sunlight comes very early (around 5 a.m.), and for that reason, we couldn’t sleep very well.

- Miles (10/5): Awesome location, warm staff, clean rooms with nice amenities. - Great location, close to the best of Asakusa but on a quieter block. The staff were so welcoming and the room was super clean As a 6-footer, I did need to duck to get between rooms. The beds were very firm, but I didn’t mind. My wife was less comfortable.

- Beto LR (9/5): Hospedaje bien ubicado y tradicional - Lo mejor es vivir la experiencia tradicional de una estancia japonesa, el personal es muy amable y cuentan con un lugar para desayunar cómodamente, además te ofrecen guardar las maletas y el servicio es excepcional, la habitación me gustó mucho pero si es un poco reducida, no me molesto porque sabia que a eso iba, lo menciono para la gente que espera algo mas grande porque claramente es para tener la experiencia, fui a principios de marzo 2026, lo mejor es que a lado esta el templo sensoji y cerca tienes las estaciones de metro y el skytree, la ubicación es excelente y volvería a hospedarme sin duda

- Michael Roy (10/5): - The shared "onsen" and amenities is amazing after a day's worth of walking, you get to relax and enjoy the water washing your pain and worries away! I like and appreciate the service provided by the staff, you guys are truly wonderful! Lastly i do want to add the location is superb! As you walk out you are in the dead center of everything! The opening hours for the lobby is a bit too short in my honest opinion (I feel like that's a personal preference) but the staff was so helpful that they extended it for my wife and I to have our dinner! kudos to you guys!
- VANESSA (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in questo bellissimo Ryokan nel centro della quartiere di Asakusa vicino alle principali attrazioni turistiche. Il Ryokan è molto curato e pulito ed il personale gentilissimo. Abbiamo sperimentato l'onsen per la prima volta ed è stato fantastico. Un'esperienza da ripetere. Consigliatissimo!

- Claudia (10/5): Lindo hotel y muy bien ubicado - La ubicación está muy bien y el personal es muy amable. Nos gustó que encontrabamos muchas cosas cerca y que en todo momento pudimos buscar recomendaciones de ellos. El Onsen es lindo y aunque no son privados los puedes reservar por algunos minutos. Tienen vistas lindas hacia y son limpios y agradables. La habitación era un tanto pequeña, pero nada fuera de lo usual.

If you’re not able to go to a countryside ryokan and are only in Tokyo for a few days and want a ryokan - A little confusing which room is represented when you book and the number of occupancy bookings.com lists versus what the hotel property actually allows. I booked for three people only to find out that the hotel allows only 2, a non refundable booking, which threw a wrench into our plans. Their restaurant is no longer running. It would have been great to have the full experience of at least a Japanese breakfast.
