• Anna (10/5): A lovely hotel with character - Check in is at another hotel 100 metres down the road. Very easy. The hotel itself has a lovely entrance and our room had three big windows overlooking the canal which we loved. There’s a roof terrace for guests…gorgeous views and comfortable seating. I recommend!!! We had to cancel one of our rooms and it took a lot of calls and in fact months to receive the refund

• Tomasz (7/5): Unexpected hotel change, but it was quite ok - First of all, for some reason we were accomodated in a different hotel - Hotel Canal instead of Ca' Dei Polo, so my opinion applies to Hotel Canal. I read many bad reviews about this hotel, but after all it wasn't that bad. - location is very good, close to the Piazzale Roma - we got a room with a nice canal view - room was partially refurbished (new furniture, wallpaper etc.). Bathroom was not refurbished though. - as a compensation for a hotel change we got a breakfast inclued, which was served in Hotel Walter just around the corner. It was quite ok - nice and helpful staff - hotel change to a hotel with worse reviewes without any prior notice - air condition was not working or barely working - the bathroom needs renovation - they collected city tourist tax for my 7-year-old children, while children of that age are exempt from this tax. I had to go to the reception and spend like 15-20 mins to discuss it and eventually get it back.
• Kamil (1/5): Avoid at all cost - We’ve been completely scammed. We were checked into a rundown 2-star hotel instead of the one we actually booked, yet we were told it was an upgrade. When we tried to complain, the staff pretended not to understand us and refused to help. The room had some insects — we even got bitten during the night. This place was nothing like what was advertised and felt extremely dishonest and unsafe.

We also got another room we booked with much worse window view, but anyway we stayed there just one night. We got breakfast for free, so that was nice compensation, even though the breakfast was very simple.

El chico de la recepción nocturna muy amable y bien predispuesto, el desayuno q no nos correspondía y nos lo Iron igual completisisimo. Todo excelente. Lo recomiendo y volveria En realidad estuvo todo muy bien, solo le arreglaría un poco la fachada, es un hermoso hotel

When we arrived at the hotel, the staff told us that the room we'd booked online couldn't be booked due to personal reasons, so we had to temporarily move to another hotel arrange by them on the lower coast. They wouldn't refund us if we didn't accept, so we decided not to. Arriving in the room was a nightmare. The room was filled with a terrible smell, and the furniture and bed were terrible. Terrible experience! • Hristofor (1/5): Very bad - Nothing There is no AC, the children slept on more than 30 degree, they didnt let us go to Ca Dei Polo, and put us in 2 stars hotel , because there was some issue with the rooms. There is a lot more problems with the hotel. When we finished first terrible night we immediately get out from there and found new hotel. I hope to recieve my full refund from booking.

• Marianne (1/5): Very disappointing! - The view and breakfast staff were lovely. The accommodation was not what we booked. We were downgraded to a very basic room with little room to move instead of a spacious room with sofa.The so called air-conditioning was a portable plug in unit that was very noisy. Electrical cords were strewn in walkways and were unsafe trip hazards. Excuses were abundant by reception staff and no communication prior to arriving was made by hotel. Very dissatisfied.

Agradecemos el detalle que tuvieron de darnos una habitación con vistas al canal, porque íbamos en grupo y pedimos habitaciones contiguas y nos pusieron en diferentes edificios, Un poco viejito en general. Las fotos no corresponden mucho con la realidad, por lo menos con los edificios en los que estuvimos nosotros, la terraza que se ve en las fotos no existe.

De plus la chambre qui nous a été attribuée donne sur une cour intérieure où il y a un chantier ! La salle de bain n'est pas très bien entretenue, la porte est cassée et il y a des fils électriques apparents. Dangereux. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans un autre bâtiment et l'hygiène est très limite. Les produits frais sont stockés avec des pains de glace de pique-nique !!! Tout ceci est parfaitement inacceptable. Je vais demander le remboursement à Booking. Il faut exclure ces gérants de la plateforme !

• Martha Cecilia (1/5): Una pesadilla - Nada Es la peor experiencia que hemos pasado Al llegar allí con una reserva echa hace casi 6 meses, nos dicen que tienen problemas con las habitaciones y que nos alojarán en otro sitio..nos enviaron a un sitio y allí nos dijeron que allí no podían alojarnos, luego nos envían a otro sitio que parecía una cueva, no tenía aire, olía horrible y muy sucio hasta cucarachas tenía.. íbamos con un niño asmático de la cual me preocupaba como pasaría la noche. Llame a Booking contando lo que pasaba y no nos dieron ninguna solución, literalmente nos dañaron las vacaciones. En el momento que estábamos allí, llegaron dos familias más a los que les dijeron lo mismo. Esto quiere decir que es para ellos normal vender la misma habitación a varias personas. Eviten reservar este alojamiento, si no quieren andar con el equipaje de un lado a otro y encima pagando por algo superior y que te dan algo muy inferior

From the moment I arrived, I was amazed at how impeccable everything was: top-notch cleanliness, modern and cozy decor, and every detail taken care of to the maximum. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped (with utensils, coffee maker, and appliances in excellent condition), and the bathroom was sparkling clean, with hot water and good pressure. The location couldn't be better: in a quiet area, yet close to restaurants, supermarkets, and public transportation, which made getting around the city very easy. The apartment is also bright, with a beautiful view and a very pleasant environment for resting or even working. The host was another great plus: always attentive, responding quickly to all my questions, and giving me useful recommendations for the area. I truly felt at home. In short: an impeccable, comfortable apartment with everything you need for an unforgettable stay. I will definitely return and recommend it to others. 100%.”

Si le petit dej nous a été offert , il n’est absolument pas normal de ne pas avoir le logement initialement prévu : grosse différence. Alors que nous devions avoir une suite avec terrasse nous avons eu une chambre ! La propreté de l’établissement est juste correct! Je considère que c’est une forme d’arnaque !

• Guest (1/5): Do not book this hotel - I arrived in Venice, it took me quite a while to figure out where the hotel actually was. If you go to the location on Google Maps, there is a very small notice on one of the inner buildings near the speaker to say that guests should go to Hotel Canal to check in which is along the riverfront. I arrived here and was asked to wait, I was in the right location for check in, they called someone and I was told there was an issue with the room and it would be 10 minutes. Five minutes later, I was told I had been booked into another hotel, which was another 10 minute walk more into the centre. I wasn’t given a choice with the hotel, just airdropped the booking and the lady on reception gave me her number incase there was any problems. The hotel I was given was a 2 star hotel and I have left covered in bites. She told me before I left to be careful, which wasn’t really what you want to hear before being sent to a hotel you haven’t booked or researched. She did also say that there had been people pretending to be tourists and scamming people / pickpocketing. The receptionists were nice, and I’m not sure if the hotels are linked / managed by the same people but I wouldn’t book Ca’Dei Polo.
• Ana (9/5): Perfecto para visitar Venecia - Ubicación fantástica junto al Gran Canal y también a 5 minutos de la estación Piazzale Roma donde coger el autobús para el aeropuerto. La habitación muy amplia y acogedora, con todas las comodidades necesarias. Se agradece el detalle de las botellas de agua. El chek-in debe realizarse en un hotel cercano, no fue demasiado inconveniente para nosotros pero sería adecuado indicarlo claramente al realizar la reserva.

Κατά τα άλλα το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ παλιό αλλά καθαρό.

So, when I got the address, I couldn't find the place; there was no metal plate, nothing. I had to call the phone number on the advertisement to try to understand that. They gave me a different address to go to, called Canal Hotel, close to the place advertised. We left our luggage there because check-in would not be until the afternoon, after 3 PM. Then, when we went back from our sightseeing, we were moved to another hotel, called Hotel Walter or Water. So, those places were different from the pictures we saw in the advertisement. The pictures didn't match the advertisement. It wasn't a good experience.

Нас заселили в совершенно другой отель Я его с трудом нашла .При этом регистрация проходила вообще в третьем отеле. Номер на двоих я брала на себя и сына. Кровать сетка 1.40 см мы лежали как в гамаке. Я почти не спала так как болела спина. Утром у меня было желание найти ровную поверхности и просто выспаться. Душ и туалет в едином пространстве при этом ты боишься повернуться чтоб не терануться плечами о стены. Я пользовалась общим душем ,там была кабинка и он был достаточно большой.Плохо что он был почти всегда занят. Номер на втором этаже, С крутыми ступеньками и без лифта.С чемоданами это просто не описуемо.Ни какого дворика не было. Из окна открывался вид на канал и на ЖД вокзал, но окно было занавешено и открыть его мы не смогли так как шторы подвинуть было не возможно.Можно было только поднырнуть под них. Вообщем отдыха не получилось , я просто мечтала уехать из этого номера Стены, стул , потолок и мебель были в ужасном состоянии все в пятнах , порванные местами обои из ткани были в пятнах и вызывали брезгливость, заставляли просто морщиться. Я отодвигала постель, чтоб не прикасаться к ним. Кроме того лампочка в туалете постоянно моргала, создавая эффект дискотеки и я боялась что она сейчас перегорит. Жаль что можно вставить только 4 фото. Я ещё никогда не была так разочарованна

• OleM89 (3/5): Forvirrende med ikke eksisterende averterte rom. - Plassering nært togstasjon og busstasjon, slik at vi slapp å drasse med oss masse bagasje rundt hele byn. Sitter med inntrykk av at Ca Dei Polo i grunn ikke eksisterer. Da vi sto utenfor adressen som var oppgitt, ble vi informert om å dra til et hotell rundt hjørnet. Var litt halvveis løsninger på det meste. Fikk frokost, selv om det ikke var i bookingen (sikkert en kompensasjon for tort og svie?). Tenker det beste er at de legger ned annonse til Ca Dei Polo, til de faktisk kan tilby rom på den adressen. Da slipper man mye forvirring.

Wieczorami siedzieliśmy na tarasie ogólnodostępnym z widokiem na kanał jedyna sugestia do personelu że mogliby wymienić spaloną żarówkę bo jest tam dość ciemno mimo ledowych światełek. Po wymeldowaniu mogliśmy jeszcze zostawić bagaże w budynku głównym gdzie znajduje się recepcja. Ogólnie polecam !!!!

Llegamos temprano, el personal muy estricto al momento de hacer el ingreso a la habitación 15 horas. No me gustó que al momento del check in nos digan que teníamos un upgrade a dos habitaciones y desayuno en otro hotel ( las habitaciones del hotel Canal son de menor calidad ) Hacer el check in en otro lugar para que te pasen las llaves e ir luego a ir a donde está la habitación tampoco me pareció bien. La habitación , estaba bien por el precio que se pagó , bien para una noche

• Guest (7/5): Udany- zamiast 4 osobowego pokoju, dostaliśmy 2 osobne gdzie indziej - Udało się spędzić noc w Wenecji, pomimo że zarezerwowany ( i opłacony) kilka miesięcy wcześniej hotel od dawna nie działa. Jest zamknięty, a my wylądowaliśmy w zupełnie innym hotelu.

• Guest (1/5): Horrible - La ubicación Esta empresa gestiona 3 establecimientos (apart.Ca dei Polo, Hotel Walter y Hotel Canal). Reservamos apart.en Ca dei Polo y cuando llegamos nos dijeron que tenían overbooking y nos dieron una mini habitación sucia y con moho en las paredes en el hotel Canal. Nos quejamos y dijeron que no tenían nada más. Pedimos hoja de reclamaciones y dijeron que no tenían. Cuando nos pusimos firmes "nos encontraron" una habitación en el hotel Walter el doble de la que nos ofrecieron y en buenas condiciones. Nunca tuvimos opción de tener lo que habíamos reservado, es decir, el apartamento. La limpieza diaria de las habitaciones es nula, apenas estiraban las sábanas y ni limpiaban el baño ni vaciaban las papeleras. El desayuno se hace en el hotel Walter y solo hay una persona atendiendo todas las mesas y la cocina, llamarlo explotación se queda corto....El espacio es insuficiente y hay que esperar de pie en medio del comedor delante de todos los clientes. La bañera muy sucia, baldosas rotas en el baño. De verdad que aconsejamos no ir, estamos acostumbrados a viajar y estar en todo tipo de establecimientos pero esto ha sido "la bomba".
• Sara (1/5): - Es una completa estafa. Llegamos a la puerta del hotel y estaba cerrado totalmente. En la puerta decia que el checkin se hacia a 150 m en otro hotel llamado hotel canal (ahí es cuando empieza toda la pesadilla). Al llegar nos dicen que nos vamos a quedar allí que hay que hacer el checkin en esa recepcion, no nos explican nada de por que no nos quedamos en el hotel que habiamos reservado. Nos hacen fotos a los dni. Y nos dicen que por las molestias nos invitarian a la mañana siguiente a desayunar, que ya nos explicarian el por qué (ja,ja). Ese hotel estaba completamente en obras, reservamos 5 habitaciones y eso era un zulo. Algunas de las puertas no abrían bien y tenias que empujarlas con todas tus fuerzas. En una habitación no pudimos entrar y tuvimod que esperar ya que estaban colocando la puerta. Estaban haciendo obras en otras habitaciones. La humedad dentro de la habitación es horrible no se podía respirar bien. Nuestra cama estaba humeda tanto colchon como almohadas. Las paredes llenas de humedades, la mayoria de cosas rotas, oxidadas o lleno de mierda. Pero lo peor no es todo esto, lo peor es el trato de los trabajadores. Al decir que es insalubre este sitio quisimos el reembolso para buscarnos otro hotel el mismo día 10 personas que manda huevos. Al principio querian recolocarnos en otro a 4 personas y hacernos un 25% de descuento del precio que pagamos. Nos negamos rotundamente ya que por lo que pagamos eso era horrible. Me puse en contacto con booking y al final cedieron a la cancelacion gratuita con el reembolso. Le dije que nuestra cama estaba mojada y subió un trabajador a comprobarlo y me empezó a decir de muy malas formas que no, que es mentira que lo compraron todo ayer que estaba loca (jajajaajsj claro que si).
• Janet (1/5): We were deceived - Nothing at all I don't know how to rate a hotel that we weren't accommodated in. Instead, without any warning, we were accommodated in a room that had nothing to do with the one we booked. In other words, we were most deliberately deceived by this hotel, if such a thing exists. The room we were accommodated in was supposed to have a TV, but it was in the wardrobe without cable. The mattress must have been taken from the Venetian torture museum, because I only got 3-4 hours of sleep in the three nights. The same goes for the pillows. There should have been a minibar, but there wasn't. The only thing that was acceptable was that the room had a canal view and breakfast. But the deception is there. Be careful, because these rooms shown on booking don't exist.
• Juan Jose (2/5): Una tomadura de pelo - Lo único reseñable podría ser la ubicación si buscas estar cerca de la estación marítima o la de tren. Las indicaciones para llegar son nefastas: no hay ninguna indicación más allá de un diminuto cartel en una puerta y sin el nombre del alojamiento. Intentamos contactar con ellos por whatsapp y no dieron respuesta alguna. Tras un buen rato dando vueltas, nos encontrarnos con otros viajeros que estaban en la misma situación y tras preguntar en los alrededores nos indicaron que teníamos que desplazarnos a 150 metros de allí para recoger las llaves en otro hotel. CONSEJO: si llegáis antes de la hora del check in, ni se os ocurra dejar el equipaje en la consigna del otro hotel (por consigna entiéndase un pasillo donde se dejan las cosas tiradas en el suelo). Nos desparecieron dos airpods de las maletas y nadie asumió responsabilidades. Y para rematar, la tomadura de pelo que se marcaron con el impuesto municipal. Nos cobraron 5€ a cada uno sin tener en cuenta que 6 eran menores de edad y que para su categoría de alojamiento le corresponde una tarifa de 3.5€. Hace 2 semanas estuvimos alojados también en el Hotel Carlton Capri, de categoría superior, y nos cobraron 3,5€ de tasa y los niños al 50%. Por este motivo, las molestias y el robo de los auriculares, nos escribieron indicando que nos iban a reembolsar 20€ como gesto de buena voluntad. Les facilité mis datos bancarios y mis datos de Paypal para el cobro, y tras 3 semanas de continuos engaños con: "ya le hemos enviado el dinero por cuenta bancaria", "remítanos nuevamente los datos", "mejor denos su cuenta de Paypal", "¿no lo ha recibido todavía?"...en fin un cuento tras otro...no han enviado ningún reembolso de 20€. Aunque lo que más me duele es la sustracción de los auriculares, que con 20€ no llega ni para la funda protectora.
• Guest (3/5): - C'est mon placement près de la gare, pratique et le personnels très sympathiques Pas de télévision. Salle de bain équipée d’une petite baignoire servant pour la douche, mais sans eau chaude disponible. Lorsqu’on se douche dans la baignoire, l’eau se répand sur le sol, même avec le rideau fermé.
• ALAIN (10/5): - Le logement très confortable et idéalement situé près de la station de vaporetto "Piazzale Roma". Le petit déjeuner est très complet. L'accueil est très bon lors du check-in. Rien.

• CARMEN (8/5): - Nos dieron una habitacion a dos puentes de distancia de la recepcion, pero el edificio estaba mucho mejor que el hotel. Habitacion muy amplia Debajo de las camas no habian limpiado y habia mucho polvo
• Mafalda (5/5): - Situación cerca de la estación de tren Edificio y habitación muy vieja. Las camas bien, pero baño, paredes, aire, etc muy viejo. Instalaciones que necesitan una mejora general.
• Guest (7/5): - El hotel estaba muy cerca del parking de la entrada a Venecia . Era muy tranquilo, estaba muy limpio. El desayuno está muy bien y completo. Pero como tienen varios juntos para cada cosa vas a un sitio, para recepción, para dormir a otro y para desayunar a otro. Las instalaciones son muy viejas, la tele estaba roto el enchufe, la habitación daba a la parte de detrás, cuando me levanté a media noche no iba la luz del baño. Para pasar una noche vale pero para más yo no lo recomiendo, le hace falta un buen mantenimiento.
