- Patton (9/5): - Great location, comfortable large bed. Paulo was very cordial and very helpful, even fixing a plumbing issue at a late hour! We would recommend to anyone who comes to Rome. Be aware that there are a lot of stairs to get to the room as it’s on the third floor.
The hotel is in an alley near a major intersection. It’s remarkably quiet for the location but you may want to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

- AMY (8/5): -
- Dorothy (6/5): - Thomas was extremely kind and helpful. Having to schlep luggage up several flights of stairs in building with no lift. Since we arrived at night there was no one there to help.
- Liz (7/5): Comfy, quiet centrally located place to stop - Really central location, but still quiet and relaxed. The room needed more electrical points one didn’t work and others not accessible so two lugs for kettle light and charging phone/ipad
- tony (9/5): - Wish instead of a perculator there would be like a nespresso machine to have coffee.
Also a bigger smart TV.
- Alicia (8/5): Missed the train but comfortable room - The rooms were amazing. We were a party of 3 women and 2 had rooms. Thomas greeted us upon our arrival and very kindly carried our luggage up the stairs and made sure we were comfortable. The owner was there each day after that. We asked to have the room cleaning skipped for one room for one night and he (the owner) seemed offended that we asked. We just had stuff everywhere. We did not mean to insinuate that we didn't trust them or anything like that. The day we left, we left an hour and a half before our train was to depart and figured we would eat breakfast at the train station. The taxi stand is literally steps from the hotel. On this day, there were no taxis and some of the streets were blocked off for a marathon. We attempted to get a taxi from the Freenow app. After a bit, a driver accepted our ride, then 15 minutes later said he could not get to us. Other cars were driving by, but ok. Next we go to the bus stop. There are a lot of people waiting. A bus never came. I went back to the hotel to ask what we should do. The owner said yes the roads are closed you will have to walk to the river to get a taxi.
When we left that morning, we were struggling a bit to get our suitcases out the door and down the stairs. He (owner) did not offer to help with our bags. Our rooms are on the second floor, but the ceilings were so high that it was really like 3 stories up. He still seemed a little salty about asking to skip a cleaning?? He also did not mention anything about the road closures or the marathon. A simple comment to us as we were leaving would have been great and would have saved us hundreds of dollars. He clearly knew exactly what I was talking about when I went back. We walked a few blocks to the river and finally got our taxi. The driver was so nice, he drove as fast as he could to get us there on time. We literally ran to the platform only to watch our train depart without us. Rebooking was extremely expensive plus the money already spent on the original tickets. The rooms were great, beds comfy and Thomas was so kind.
- Kim (8/5): Good location, clean room, leaky shower and hard to gain entry upon first arrival. - Being centrally located was very helpful to the things we wanted to do and see while in Rome. Taxi and bus stops were basically just outside side the door. Room was clean. There is no sign on the outside of the building to confirm the hotel exists, just a small button to push to request access, and no one answers the button when pushed. We were fortunate that other guests were exiting the building when we were trying to get in. Water sprayed/leaked outside the shower glass all over the floor when shower was used.

- Frank (9/5): Very enjoyable stay, great location. - Thomas was an excellent host, every detail taken care of. Beds were very comfortable. Fantastic location for old Roma. Better views possibly but realise this could be difficult.
- Doug (9/5): Perfectly located boutique hotel - Nice hotel in a great location. Easy walk to the major sights from here. All good.
Old school inredning.Högt i tak.
Olika inredning i varje rum.
- Sarah (10/5): - Beautiful, and authentic. Amazing location. Big size room, very comfortable and charming.
- Peter (10/5): -
- Gloria (10/5): Una estada molt romana (bellesa i simpatia). - No hem esmorzat alli. Molt bona rebuda. Ambient tranquil. Habitacio gran, molt ben decorada i neta.
- LUCIA (10/5): Super Hotel à Rome - Le personnel a été super gentil! Et l'endroit est magnifique! -
- Robert (7/5): Ho hum - Location Upstairs, no elevator, not easy to find, AC was so so. Thought there was breakfast included, but not the case
- angelina (7/5): - The location was great! The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The water pressure in the shower was not great, but we had hot water.
- 8T3 (9/5): -
- Galina (9/5): Really enjoyed the location and the staff. Very clean and a pleasure to stay - Location is excellent! Easy to get anywhere within the Centte. Some fixtures were a bit tricky to manipulate …

- 183nelliel (10/5): Quiet and cozy hotel in the heart of Rome - During our 2 week trip to Italy, we stayed in 4 different hotels including this one. While this wasn't the fanciest or most expensive, it was welcoming and comfortable in every way, and offered a restorative pace. I've found myself thinking about it even after returning home. It's located in a narrow inauspicious street just across the Ides of March. In fact, we almost missed the address. Inside the building, the rooms are located on the second floor and there are only a few of them. We were greeted by Thomas, who is porter, housekeeper, concierge, and everything else. Endlessly kind, he addressed our every need and made sure our rooms were equipped with every comfort. We had a spacious period decorated room with tall ceilings, warm comfortable beds and a wardrobe and chests for our clothes. The coffee table had a kettle and teacups for our convenience. In the mornings, Thomas brought breakfast to our room which consisted of delicious fresh baked croissants and toast along with butter, jam, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs along with delicious steaming cups of coffee. Once we were in our rooms each night, not a sound was heard. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Terrific value, too!
- Pejman (1/5): Bad - Host is rude and gave me attitude for pointing out that the internet wasn't working and there was no hot water for the shower. He also pointed out that I should be thankful to find such a cheap price for the room. Well Location is good, that is true. But I shall point out that if he focused on customer service he would be selling out more rooms and doesn't have to resort to talking nonsense to his guests.
- Mueller (10/5): Exceptional - Location and unique. Nothing, I liked it all!
- Svitlana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zizang (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect
- Gabby (10/5): Lovely hotel in a great location. - Lovely, spacious hotel room with lots of character. Very clean, great location, and very helpful members of staff. It was hard to find at the beginning as there isn’t a sign on the outside of the door that says it’s the hotel. Our taxi driver dropped us off outside another hotel which didn’t help too. I messaged and within a minute I was able to find it.
- Nate (8/5): Great location- breakfast was pretty good. I would choose to stay somewhere else if I came back to Rome. - Great location! Beautiful design and right in the heart of the Pantheon neighborhood. The property does not have an elevator so it makes carrying heavy luggage a challenge. The room only gets so cold- not the best AC system and the lobby is hot during the day and morning. The cleaning crew turns off the AC so after a hot day around Rome you come home to a hot room. It does cool off after you turn the unit back on but it takes time.
I think this is an Italy thing- they are used to warmer temperatures indoors versus Americans.
Staff is nice but not overly friendly. I asked for restaurant recommendations and we received one. Better off doing your own research or consulting others.
There is no coffee in the room- tea but there should at least be instant coffee options for the morning.
- Jetdel (8/5): Great location near Largo Argentina, walk to everything, downtown touristy locale not cheap - Great AC, good beds, very large room and high ceilings (we had a triple). Breakfast was available for an extra charge but Thomas (who did everything) made us an expresso or cappuccino which was fine. Brand new bathroom with modern appliances and black marble shower. No lift/elevator for second floor stairs but Thomas carried our bags in and out, to the taxi rank close by. Antique chests and bedside chests had nearly non-functional drawers but they were delightful to look at.
- Rocco (8/5): Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. - - Staff was very nice!
- Continental breakfast
- Location at Largo Argentina. Walking distance to key areas/attractions:
- Pantheon: 5 mins
- Trevi fountain: 10 mins
- Trastevere: 10-15 mins
- Colosseum / Fora: 20 mins. - Keyless entry on front door to property is very finicky and frustrating.
- Gerald (9/5): Wonderful stay, great staff they will order you breakfast of your wish. Only draw back no elevator - Staff great, If they had an elevator.
- Rachel (5/5): Passable - Location easy walking distance to all Needs some work done in bathroom shower area etc.. curtains need hung correctly, furniture looks very tired
- Bart (10/5): - The room was very nice and the staff was extremely helpful.
- John (9/5): A perfect stay in Rome - Staff was very friendly. Cool vibe of a Roman apartment. Comfortable and great location
- Sharon (9/5): Superb - Great location, spacious room with comfortable beds and pillows.
- Shuruq (8/5): Very good - Great staff, welcoming, helpful, great location abd beautiful building
- Najat (9/5): Superb -
- Nikolaj (8/5): Great location for first time visit - Great staff and location
- Bruce (7/5): Enjoyable for its location and comfortable room. - Good location in the Old City, centrally located between the Colosseum, Vatican City and Trevi Fountain. Spacious well furnished tradition room. Access up dimly lit stairs was challenging. Front desk staff was present only at limited times.
- Amy (10/5): Very accommodating and comfortable stay. - Very good location for everything we did in Rome! We could walk any direction! The room was clean, quiet, cozy and very comfortable.
- Ilgin (1/5): Scary, unconvenient, not safe for solo girl traveller - Not safe environment for a girl: I have made a last min booking at night arrived with two heavy luggage , there were so many stairs . I have called owner to clarify that i am not able to carry it as a thin girl so please cancel booking , instead he got extremely mad on the phone. İn the meantime another guest started helping me and i managed to carry. The owner came to property and entered inside my room angrily , this incident made me very scared as a solo girl traveller. I felt very uncomfortable, his behavior was much against hospitality culture. Owners of hotels shouldn’t be allowed to enter your room without permission while you are there to show their anger. It was so unacceptable but i couldn’t leave at that point. I do not recommend this place. Owners reckless behavior, his allowance to enter inside of my room to express his anger in the middle of the night. His initial unwillingness to help with luggage but then he showed up just to argue.
- Maria (8/5): Very good - Location was great. Comfortable. Quiet.
- John (8/5): A very nice hotel in a great location. -
- Branislav (9/5): Superb -
